  1. That would just give you a larger, low resolution image. Pi used the zoom feature to get better resolution, then had to cut and paste the images numerous times until he had the correct image. At least that's how I think he did it.
  2. I'm pretty sure it by your number of posts in the last 24 hours, so it's continually updated. I could be wrong, though.
  3. Yup, I put it as my desktop too. Why don't you add it to this topic? Thanks for sharing this, Deino!
  4. I don't think so. The pictures aren't washed out enough for me to think it'd alter it that much. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, huh?
  5. Let me guess, it's the dagger tag? Also, has anyone noticed that it seems to be a new colour used for the majority of the Battle of Alamut set? It looks like an earth brown to me. As well, I think the domes come in quarters, because you can see this piece in the middle. Also, it'd explain why there are halves in the Emporium.
  6. That was my thinking too.
  7. I've used LifeLites before. The one thing, even with the Jr., is that they are relatively hard to incorporate in to MOCs. I've used them in my Ice/Swift Water Rescue Truck as well as my Toronto ETF Armet Armoured Vehicles Trooper, and in both trucks, the wiring takes up all the space in the back of the truck. I've met Rob in person, and he's a great guy. I can't guarantee anything, but if you ask him, he might be able to help you with something special.
  8. Same here . Maybe you should change it to a multiple choice poll, Big Cam. It's second to flickr for me.
  9. On the plus side, if it melts through the plastic, it's likely to melt through the box too. Then you'll know before you open the box.
  10. WhiteFang, would you mind updating the description of my previous title, "Big Rig," to [unknown]. Thank you for keeping this great library, by the way.
  11. Unfortunately, 1x3 tiles are not yet available in either Reddish Brown or Dark Brown.
  12. These conventions are almost always in the same place; Brickworld is in Chicago; Brickfest is in Virginia; Brickfair is in Washington.
  13. So why don't you tell us what you can?
  14. It's very close, and after reading some comments, I think I'd lean towards MOCs. I only buy sets to keep together if they're beautifully designed and on sale - For example, the only two I've kept built are the Boeing Jet and the Minifig Death Star. Granted, I do sometimes build sets just for fun then break them apart. I do buy many, many other sets, though those are parted out and never built. MOCs. That's what I do. That's what Lego is all about me. I feel I can express my creativity better, and, like Ralph said, I can show different techniques better and be more accurate to my subject matter. With the best sets; I go, "Oh, cool!" but with the best MOCs, I go, "Wow, that's awesome!"
  15. 1. This/This. 2. This. 3. This. 4. And you've figured out the last one.
  16. Yeah, I try not to use that piece as a base for trucks; I find it too limiting. You really should look into WHACKOLUG, I think you'd enjoy it.
  17. After he unfolds and looks at it, I'd like to actually read it.
  18. Wow, this looks amazing, especially after the changes! Is this based on any truck in particular? I assume it's not based on a unibody, so, going off that assumption, I'd suggest trying to make a 1/2 plate gap between the cab and the bed. Use jumper plates on the bottom plates connecting the two parts. Also, might I suggest joining WHACKOLUG?
  19. Oh boywiththesword! I need it. Pretty please? See son, that's how you get stuff in life, you annoy them with kindness. Now that I have the sword, I'd like to carefully (so that I don't drop or damage it) put it in the vacant lampholder to "feel around"
  20. Does anybody have a flashlight on them? Anyone at all? You over there? You have one, and I can use it? Yeah! I'd like to use said flashlight to examine the shaft where the lampholder was Now that I've calmed down, I'm going to tilt each lampholder thing-a-magig into the opposite position they were in. I'm also going to examine the statue to see if there are any keyholes.
  21. Then, after we are through with the monster thingy, I'd like to look into the lampholder on the right which has no lamp, and see if there is anything of note. If there is, I'd like to take it and examine it. Then, I'd like to push up/pull down the remaining three lampholders until something is revealed.
  22. What's that ugly thing? Is it a statue or something, or is it a monster/demon/pieceofpoop/annoyance. If it's the later, I'd like to take the silver sword which saves our souls, and gracefully slice and dice it into tiny pieces, so that we can proceed on with the tour. Then as everyone else looks on in awe, I'd like to blush and say, "All in a day's work." Alternatively, I could just cower in fear as whoever the hell has the sword slices and dices the monster thing into tiny pieces. Whichever would be safer for me.
  23. Welcome to Eurobricks! Why not go ahead and start a topic about yourself in the Hello! My name is... forum, so we can learn a bit more about you. To answer your question, Bricklink.com is a great site for buying and selling Lego parts and sets, and well as anything else Lego related. They also maintain a wonderful database encompassing every set and part created. The specific part you're interested is for sale in Light Grey, Light Bluish Gray, and Black from many different sellers here. I hope I've helped!
  24. Same here! Just use the one from last year, that'd be great.
