Great use of tubing, minifig hands, and cloth elements. A very different style and a very beautiful ship as well!

Next CUUSOO set: 21103 Back to the Future™ Time Machine
Dapper-D2 replied to Blakstone's topic in LEGO Licensed
Minifigs and flux capacitor are nice, but the rest of it is just awful! Lego what were you thinking? You butchered this builder's vision, which is what Cuusoo users asked for! Shame on you! -
Well, if you must I suggest you use this piece for Lady Vader’s boobs for maximum sex appeal!

Review Review: 10240 Red Five X-Wing Starfighter
Dapper-D2 replied to Rufus's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I just finished building this and I think it’s the best UCS set out there! It’s the center piece of my Star Wars collection now. Love it!- 118 replies

If these were real I’d want to operate this Bad Boy! It looks smooth, agile, and menacing. Love it!

So cute! I'm going to build one of your micro x-wings and put it next to my UCS version.

Great work Legopard! I always wanted to try my hand at one of the lesser known pod racers, but couldn’t find enough reference pictures to my liking. What did you refer to when building this one? And did you have to improvise at all due to a lack of reference material?

That’s just wrong man! Please don’t make anymore of these, it scares me! I can’t stop laughing at that butt!

Another great build MOOD! Once again you’ve taken a vehicle I find boring and made it interesting Steampunk style! I love how the trooper looks so natural riding on it. You’ve created some nice details in him as well. I do agree that the smokestacks should be higher though, even with the wonderful job you’ve done on his mask, I keep thinking if the wind changes he’s going to get a face full of smoke.

[flickr Find] Speeder Bikes by James zhan
Dapper-D2 replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Good point! I’m not aware if it has been posted anywhere else. And if you already checked other sites like MOCpages and Flickr, you’d have a better chance of finding it than me, as I don’t frequent those sites. I just thought it was neat and wanted to share it with the community. I probably should have just posted a picture of it and credited the builder.- 6 replies

I like this Slave 1 better than the original, was never a fan of that ship. But this looks great! I like the sticker element, how you've done the angles on the nose, and the propellers are a nice way to finish everything off.

I love what you've done here. Great details and I like what you've done with the underbody too.

Lego Creator Expert 10234 Sydney Opera House
Dapper-D2 replied to GRogall's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Gorgeous! I want it! But where to put it? So many great big sets coming out this year. X-wing, ewok village, palace cinema, and now this. It's a great time to be a Lego fan!- 127 replies

While I’m generally into the UCS sets, I’m all over this one. It is refreshing to see TLG produce something this size that is not a ship. Just like the Death Star I’ll be buying this one on sale someday. These play sets are really growing on me and are usually the most enjoyed by friends and family when I show off my collection. Even with all my UCS sets, all they can talk about is Jabba’s Palace and the Rancor pit. I guess there is something to this mini-figure craze.

Cool! I can actually see the force powers being used in this diorama, from the knocked over pillar to the broken speeder bike.

Cad Bane VS Obi Wan Kenobi (Moodland Scale)
Dapper-D2 replied to M<0><0<DSWIM's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Cane’s blasters are pretty nifty too. Do they snap into the holsters? -
Looks even better in the natural light! Are you planning on adding stands made out of lego?
-
These are really beautiful! Nice entry!

Great diorama Bayou! I love the trees, lighting, and especially the x-wing sunk in the swamp. Have you thought about adding the creature swimming around in the swamp? I think it would be cool to see in there considering how well you’ve accomplished the view under water.
