  1. Looks great! Are you going to be selling instructions for this one?
  2. Looks Spectacular! I hope someone makes it in real bricks it would be a sight to behold!
  3. Approximately 19 inches.
  4. Wow! Fantastic work! I love the rounded wall, wind turbines, and the garbage bins, hell I love everything about it!
  5. They do look quite nice and I love the detail that you've packed into this scale!
  6. Looks great! I like the subtle improvements you've made and all those studs...
  7. Thanks I’m glad you approve! It took me a while to figure out the new configuration because I don’t have much dark green to work with, but I do think it looks much better myself. Sometimes I just need that push in the right direction.
  8. Thanks for the info guys! I will try to change the storyline later. Thanks Doc! I agree, I threw in the turn table bases at the last minute and for some reason I thought I had more gold on the ship than I did. So I’ve changed the wing design and color combo based on your feedback and posted a new image in the thread. What do you think of it?
  9. Thanks for the comments guys! I'm glad you like it! Yes, I screwed that up big time! What threw me off was the emblem I used on the wings and engines of the ship. Perhaps you could clear something up for me? Is that emblem associated with Jedi or can I change him to a pilot and still use that emblem?
  10. That’s Pork. He’s a Jedi. I remember the first time I met him. It was on board the Redemption during the Battle of Hoth. We had lost a lot of good men and women in that fight...if you could call it a fight...we had very little notice. He was in the docking bay as Rind's and I arrived. He offered us words of encouragement, but we weren't trying to hear it. We just wanted to refuel and get back into the fight. That's when he said he would be honored to fight along side us. We excepted and he's been with us ever since. Oh, he also said something about the "Force" being strong with me. "I don't know much about that, but who am I to question a Jedi?" New wing / color design based on Brickdoctor's Feedback. Cheers, Tim I'd like this judged please.
  11. Forget what I said!
  12. Thanks Doc! When I Googled images of the Z-95 I noticed a lot of variations on design and color. Which is what I like about the ship. There is some leeway for experimentation and it makes building them more fun. I like wreckage! It would fit well that way in Jacob Nion's Junkyard. Yes I know it’s probably getting stale, but I’m trying to introduce my squadron. I have plans for a whole story including a love interest and a blatant shower scene. That said I don’t know how much time I can devote to all that and I’m just trying to keep up with all the great posts out there already. I think the next Z-95 will surprise you how different it looks and I promise after that no more Z-95s. Although they might make appearances in some scenes.
  13. Great work on the cannons a nice improvement. I think the front looks a little blocky and could use some smoothing out and I would suggest using this piece for the four corners of the engines. .
  14. Good point! I don't think he would have a problem with it, but get his permission first and I'll be glad to give it to you.
  15. I tried to PM (personal message) you, but you do not have 10 posts so it did not work. Let me know when you get 10 posts and I'll PM you the LDD link and pictures of the work I did on it?
  16. Thanks for the comments guys! I'm glad you like the color scheme. My favorite part of building these is adding the color. Good eye Csacsa! After I built my version here. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85996 I decided to pick up the official set when I saw it for $35.00 on clearance at my local Walmart. I wanted to see how the pros did it and try to take some techniques from them. The very rear portion of the engine and the cockpit I took from the official set and the nose was also inspired by it. That said I have some new ideas for Pork’s ship and it will have some big differences to the engines and wings.
  17. That’s Rind. He was an Ace Pilot for the Republic and came from a military family. Graduated the Academy with honors. Some would say he was born and bred to be a pilot. Genius, hard working, and thrives under pressure. When the Republic fell, he did not take it well. All he had worked for in his career seemed lost. When I recruited him to fight with the Rebellion, I found him in a cantina on Tatooine. He was in the VIP room with three Twi’lek strippers and a bottle of booze. It didn’t take much to convince him. All I had to say was he would get to shoot down those Tie-boys again and he tossed his bottle in the trash and said, “Where do I sign-up?” He snapped back into his old regimen immediately. It’s the strangest thing, every time he shoots down one of those Imps I hear him say over the intercom, “For the Republic!” He refuses to remove the Republic markings from his Z-95 too. It was his idea to paint our Fighters the way we did. He said we needed a calling card…something those Tie-boys would fear. He calls his “Slow Red Death.” He gave it that name because he likes to toy with the Imps before delivering his kill shot. Pork's Z-95 coming soon. I would like this judged please.
  18. Nice! My favorite scene is the picture with your character flying away in his new ship.
  19. Wow, looking good LegoFjotten! The Ant Eater is my favorite, but you've done great work with everything here. I'm glad you're on our side!
  20. I really like what you've done with the structure of the building and the cloud car looks great! Does it fit mini-figures?
  21. Wow! I just had my mind blown! I was not expecting this when I clicked on your thread. Some of the best Snot and greebling I have ever seen and just the right amount at that and your addition of color is refreshing. Very tastefully done! You have just set the bar for me my friend! I wouldn’t change a thing. Perfect!
  22. It fits with plenty of room to spare. It's just the Z-95 with some mini builds propped up behind it. Thanks Nom Carver! I was thinking of old dogfighting biplanes when I made it and really wanted to give it some character in that regard, but I am considering alternative color combos now based on the negative feedback.
  23. This is the image that Artizan Photoshoped for me.
  24. Thanks MstrOfPppts! I’m not fond of the landing gear either, because I planned a dogfight scene I wanted to keep the ship as sleek as possible so I omitted it from the build. The landing gear was just an afterthought for photo purposes. I would however like to modify the ship to include some retractable landing gear at some point. I also have plans to include the base plates underneath the space battle depicting scenes aboard the Redemption, time permitting. Thanks for the suggestion on the explosion it probably would look better that way. Thanks Doc! I took my inspiration for the ship from this picture here, but I think you’re right it could be toned down a bit.
