Another great build as usual Artizan. I really love that ship and the platform with lava in the background. That said, putting your enemies in a cross fire is a very bad idea and a good way to get killed by friendly fire. It's no wonder that Stormtroopers are so easy to kill. ;)

I love the ship and the lava looks beautiful! What I don't like is all the Rebels being thrown into the fire. :P

[SoNE ep. IV] Sector E: Another Victory For The Empire
Dapper-D2 replied to Lord Tyrus's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
You've done a great job with depicting the confined quarters and the tightness of the photos works well to achieve the effect! Also I really like the inclusion of the black Igneous rocks mixed in with the flowing lava. Nice work!- 15 replies

[SoNE Ep. 4] Sector C - Taking the communications station
Dapper-D2 replied to Wedge09's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
I love the exposed studs, don't change them! Also all the computers against the windows looks great and the Imps with their hands up, Priceless! -
The stairs look fabulous, but what really caught my eyes was the brown that differentiates the ground from the structure. Nicely done!

Great lava effects! I really like how that turned out and the rock and platform look equally nice.

As we entered the detention blocks we were expecting to kill some Imps and free some captives, but as we made our way down the cavern we heard a scream, a scream of death. I was not prepared for what we found. The Imps had managed to harness the underground lava flows and created something the prisoners had come to know as "hot seats." The idea was that when all other forms of interrogation and torture had failed to break the informants, they would strap two of them in the “hot seats” and burn one alive betting that his screams and the heat of his own seat would cause the other to start talking about the plans in the Outer Rim. We quickly dispatched the Stormtroopers. I then took aim on the droid pulling the lever. Enjoy!

Very cool, I like warm hugs too! -
It looks much better with the uniform color. Are you going to keep the top circle by the guns green?

Simply AWESOME!

I like it! It looks nice and sleek. I would suggest adding some silver or gray pieces to the engines though. I'm looking forward to seeing this one completed.

You have taken a very boring ship and made it interesting to look at. Such wonderful and intricate details. The best UCS sail barge I have ever seen! How many pieces?

I absolutely love this! I like the minifig plates you used for the spoiler and personally I prefer the retro look. I have been toying with idea of making some cars lately and you have just inspired me. Superbly done!

Micro figs for my Microfighters Millenium Falcon
Dapper-D2 replied to Solscud007's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That is a great idea and it looks cuter than having a minifig in there. -
I listen to country, 80’s rock, classic rock, pop, and jazz. I just find it easier to concentrate and relax when I don’t have lyrics popping into my head, so that is why I've changed.
-
I like listening to Pandora and have a variety of stations to fit my mood, but have found my tastes changing lately to where I don't like lyrics in my music and therefore have been listening to classical music.

I can tell you put a lot of thought into this to create such wonderful details. I especially like how you've made all the gray framing on the wings connect so there is no loose parts at the corners and intersections. I took on that challenge once on a simple Tie fighter and gave up, but you have achieved the effect perfectly. Bravo!

Nice work Anio! I like the clean look and love the studs, but I'm old school like that!

Thanks for the comments guys! They are quite fun and enjoyable to build and at 5 dollars a pop they are very affordable.

I built this little guy and the Nixelray entirely out of the left over parts after making all three Max figures from series one. Weapons down How he stacks up against the three Max ...and the Nixelray I love the Mixels line and I'm officially hooked! I need to name him, so I hope all who view will suggest a name and I'll pick the one I think fits the best? Thanks for looking, Dapper

Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary CUUSOO set Discussion
Dapper-D2 replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Licensed
I ordered the Cuusoo Back to the Future set after not being so impressed with it at first sight and wound up loving it when I got it in hand. This one though I can say I am impressed from the start and will get it and love it too.
