News The LEGO Movie: 70810 MetalBeard's Sea Cow
Dapper-D2 replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ordered and on it's way with the piece of resistance. I had been planning on getting the Maersk container ship, but when I saw this my mind was changed. Even though it is a hundred dollars more I just love it. I think it is fun, interesting to look at, and will be a awesome display piece. I just have to keep my kids away from it so they don't ruin it! Ha ha ha! Maybe some kragle will do the trick!- 158 replies

Review Review: 21103 Back To The Future Time Machine
Dapper-D2 replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This set has grown on me. I just ordered one today and should have ordered two. When I think of all the building challenges that go into building a model like the DeLorean at this scale and all the display options with this, Kudos to the Lego Designer for making this CUUSOO set even better. Love it and love the movies.- 207 replies

Could someone tell me what the Ghost and Phantom sets are referring to? Are they people or ships? I thought Darth Maul was the Phantom Menace, so is that going to be another bust? Sorry if this has been answered already. I have not had the time to read over the entire thread. Thanks!

Looks like the sports car of speeders. Reminds me of a Porsche. Very well done!

[SoNE Ep II] The Thin White Line

Great build, story, and delivery! I was not expecting you to kill off Marla at all. Why did you do it man? Has the Empire sucked away all of your humanity? -

I like how the story is progressing and the MOC scenes are fantastic! Keep up the great work. I'll be waiting for the next chapter. -
[SoNE Ep. II] From the Vulture's Eye

I love the way you've used the parts to make an interesting looking ship, but I have to agree with MstrOfPppts in that it doesn't feel like SW. -

Beautifully done!

I really like your idea and the satellite looks impressive. Is there any way you could incorporate a rotating and pivoting base?

Did anyone see this on Brickset yet? http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=75042-1

It's definitely an improvement. I'd work on changing the floor next.

Cool looking crab and satellite dish! I really like the story as well.

Very cool, I like it and the story has piqued my interest!

[SoNE Free Build] RZ-2x Experimental Interceptor
Dapper-D2 replied to LegoFjotten's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
A very nice looking ship. It’s clean, smooth, and I really like the color combo with the inclusion of the silver pieces. The stand is also well done and fits with the ship appropriately. Something that bothers me is the lack of any intakes on the front of the side engines and that Astromech that looks like it’s seated inside the middle engine. I would suggest repositioning him or eliminating him all together and adding something that resembles an intake on the side engines. -
[SoNE Free Build] Over here Sergeant!

Another clean little build. I like how everything flows together, from the ground to the foliage to the cave and the owl and mushrooms are a nice touch. You're on the fast track up the ranks my friend! -

I would like the Han Solo in Carbonite to replace it. Thank you and the EB staff for organizing this CB. It was fun! -
[SoNE Ep. I] In the deep of Cloud City

I like this! My favorite part is the exposed studs in the floor and the traditional look of the stacked bricks on the walls with studs exposed as well. I think it works overall, because you've added some nice details elsewhere to keep the entire build pleasing to the eye! -
Nicely done! I like how you've packed in all the details and I love the way the round table turned out! The monitor was also a great idea that you've executed well.

How dare you objectify women in a Lego Star Wars parody? Just Kidding! These look cool, I especially like how the belly and hips look sticking out of the skinny jeans.
-
Wow! Great work, all the details are beautiful and your idea of using the computer screen as a back drop is cool! Another awesome build from you Puppet Master! I may have to use the computer screen idea in the next episode, as I’m terrible at Photoshop.

I really like your style of building! All the details look great and your picture taking is superb! Great Entry for the Dark Side!

Nicely done! I really like your transport vehicle!

I have to say this is my favorite entry. It’s very clean with smooth transitions and looks like a good play set. I can just imagine myself as a kid wanting to play with this. But for me it’s the vehicles that set it apart. That Ant-Eater is so cool! And the rebel speeder is nice as well!

Thanks for the additional kind words guys! I’m glad you like the explosion. I think it turned out nicely, but I still think there is room for improvement on it. Maybe someone else will give the explosion a go in the next episode? Do you need an astromech for that? I just thought that the Z-95 didn’t require one, because the official set didn’t have a spot for one and none of the pictures I Googled appeared to have one. So, I guess aboard the mothership.
