Seeing as I agree with Dannylonglegs about Flare's suspicious activities, and throwaway posts, as well as not being convinced that DarkDragon or Shadows could be scum, I'll Vote: Lieutenant Suzanne Vanderbilt/(Flare).
-
Well, you seem to have defended yourself quite well. Mostly, I was airing out my suspicions, trying to get a reaction, and see if that leads us anywhere. It seems that many are quick to defend LT. Wheeler (Scubacarrot), but the main point of defense is purely metagaming. And though I do understand that not all of us can always make it to the canteen, I'd like the LT. to defend herself.

Hmm... Well, voting has begun, and we have no clear direction to go. The last thing we need is a NK, so I'll share my basic supicions, to see if I can get anyone to talk. So far, I'm keeping my watch on Ensign Brian Pewter, security (Played by Dannylonglegs) and Lieutenant Michelle Wheeler, chemist (Played by Scubacarrot). Pewter seems to be very vocal, and seems to know a bit more than he should, or at least, more than the rest of us. For Wheeler, refer to my above post. And Phalandric, I know this is more of a personality/writing/gameplay style thing, ut metagaming still shouldn't be a defense. I'd like to see Mrs. Wheeler defend herself.

Awesome work, the roof really makes this for me, but the other features are spectacular as well. And in the meantime, blogged, on Brick Town Talk!

From the way that Lt. Wheeler(Scubacarrot) was playing yesterday (mainly; taking an extreemly agressive stance against AwesomeStar, making posts just to make snarky comments, and other certiant personal "twitches" that make me feel as if he is trying to front a fake persona)gave me a gut feeling, and a nagging suspicion that there's something amiss. In regard to the Tamamono situation, I feel that he aptly defended himself, and that he is just concerned that his life is in danger. As a matter of fact, I remeber a scene from that Bedtime Story that Flipz told us about, where Cinderella, inder the impression that another strong Town personality was scum, led a bandwagon against her (goldilocks), and completely dismissed her solid defenses, ending up killing the Town's blocker.

I agree with the others Matt, this is beautiful! My favourite part is the curved section of the roof, it's amazing how smooth it is! Wish I could have seen it in person, but it's jus as impressive online.

Wow! This is great, jedi1984, I can tell that this must have been a labour of love. I'll keep this in mind for future reference. Also, I can see why you fell in love with that building!

Excalibur -- Confirmation and Discussion
Dakar A replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry for the post after the request for a lock Bob, I was writing it as you were posting! Hope I didn't make you cry! -
I don't think there's a specific person that the Town can 100% trust, no matter what.Even if the send you their role PM's, whch is against the rules. As far as I can tell, the organisation won't work out untill the cop finds out a Townie, and posts their name in the thread for them to be contacted, and to organise. As a matter of fact, why don't YOU let yourself be investigated, and then have the cop get an ally to post wether you're Scum or Town in tommorow's thread? That would be a win-win for the Town- If you turn out to be scum, we lynch you, and if you're Town, then we have a trustable member to coordinate our actions through!
-
I have a feeling that we'll be seeing one of your plays soon, eh? Everyone, he does have avalid point, and, based on his gameplay style, I'd vouch for him being Town, and trustworthy.
-
Well, it seems that everyone else has summed up my thoughts on the matter. Robbins was too easily giving up, and worked many of the scumtells that I've seen used before (especially excessive role-playing). While I feel that Wright would also be an excellent candidate, it seems that he got more cocky as the suspicion got drawn away from him, and repeatedly spoke too much for his own good. So... Vote: Peter Robbins (KingoftheZempk) OMGUS- Oh my gosh, you suck and WIFOM- Wine in front of me ( based off the scene in the Princess Bride).

Looks good, although the black makes it too "dark" for a modular setting. While they do use darker, more subtle colours than regular Lego sets, they're overwhelmingly colourful, with dark accents. That's my suggestion, take it or leave it, but it does look really good for a start!
-
The idea behind that.
-
I beleive that is called a "Chainsaw defense", as Brickdoctor pointed out. It's noted as a scumtell, but only 100% certiant when one of the targets turns out to be scum.
-
Alright. I've just had a few metagame experinces where the Scum flew well under the Town's radar, and mas an amazing mastermind that seemed like an active townie, but was really cuddling up with us to get us to feed them information. There's a possibility of that happening again.
-
Yeah, I know that a Vig is a Town role, which is why I pointed out that the rules said that the Town must vote OR kill off the mafia. If there IS a vigilante, it would be good for them to try and find and contact the doctor (assuming there is one), because it would mean TWO Town kills a day, instaed of one. Agreed, it's completely useless at this point, but it may be usefull down the line, which is why I pointed it out.
-
Ah, that makes more sense. While it does seem unlikely that a scum would encourage the Town to slow down and think rationally, that could still be used to their advantage by keeping the spotlight off of them, and keepng them from being lynched the first day. Although, I do agree that we ave to make 100% sure that we lynch the right person on the first night. It may not be MYLO yet, but it still gives the Town a major advantage if they kill a mafioso on the first night.

As had been said earlier, I think his roundabout way of claiming that he's a loyalist, and the fact that he even has to claim it, seems to me to be a scummy action. Also, the circular reasoning of "I'm a Loyalist because I want the facts checked, and by checking the facts, that makes me a Loyalist". As to my claim about there being a vig, this is what made me feel that there may be one:

Well, all I really know is 1. Who had posted ( I made up a list) and 2. What had already been stated, and I was trying to get clarification about wether there was indeed a confirmed second faction. I fail to see how that is "knowing so much", but it seems that I was too definite in my questions, since everyone seems to think that makes me a scum. Seeing as everyone has posted now, my first idea is now completely useless, but it seems that a few of you are rather quick to bandwagon me, based off of a "suspicious" statement. Why?
-
Ah, I remeber that story quite fondly, my mother used to tell it to my brother and I at bedtime. And though I respected that princess, I wasn't attempting to mimic her actions. It was truly forced because I wasn't a part of the earlier discussion, and seeing as it had been summed up, there was nothing else to go off of (That I noticed). I'd love to help out in any way I can, though it seems that my prior advice wasn't taken as I expected. Sorry!
-
Sorry if my suggestions seemed "unhelpful", but, seeing as we have nothing to go on aside of the basic facts (rules, who's posted/who hasn't, and prior remarks) I was just trying to see if adding something to the discussion would help any. As has been said before, it's better to try to be helpful than not saying anything at all.
-
Ok. So we simply know that there MAY be one. Alright. Just trying to find something to go off of. First day and all. Time to start tinkering again!
-
As of right now, Fugazi, Dragonator, Swils, Kadabra, Shadows, Flare, and Inconspicuous have not shown up. Awesomestar has made the fewest number of posts for all who have posted, at one. Although I may be in the same boat as him, I still feel that is scummy. Also, this was his post: Nothing of real assitance, and he didn't add anything to it later.
-
So... So far, we've established that there's a second faction, but weteher they are a threat is still unkown. Has everyone made at least one post? At this point, those who haven't made one yet are probably not doing it for scummy reasons, but due to laziness or lack of checking for the topic. I'll go and check now.

Based off of this, it looks like we've got a town night kill role, or something of the like. Awesome, that will really help with mafia riddance, as long as they aren't singled out and killed.
