  1. Really nice, LegoDr. ! It reminds me alot of the theatre from the town plan set. Great peice use with the screen, and I like the texturing on the back, with the garage door bricks!
  2. That obelisk (I'm assuming) is really good, and I like the fact that it's a raised park, so as to fit in with the rest of the modulars! Great work!
  3. Wow, that's awesme! I particularly like the drink server, and nice work with sloping that ramp! (I'm curious about the flying biker as well! )
  4. Thanks! Nice! You're the first one to find it, so you win the internet. The password is 1234bacon. Also, I may have to try to make Keanu and Swayze minifigs, I'll get back to you on that! Thanks Jonathan! If only lego made a beach ball...
  5. Thanks! I can't take all of the credit for the burnt sunbather idea, though. I orginally got the idea at Miniland, Legoland Florida! Maybe a voleyball net could be on another module, maybe a drydock and more! I had also though of adding a lifeguard station, or a voleyball net, but the boardwalk took precedence! Lego could do an entire series of modular beach hoses and waterfront hotels! (plus a few beach sets scattered in between! )
  6. Thanks! Yeah, that feeling of the sunburn is so bad, and the worst part is that it comes AFTER you've left the beach! Thanks a lot! I wasn't sure wether the sandcastle would go over well, but I'm glad you like it! Thanks! Your recycling station is great as well, and if Jonathan (SonicStarlight) hadn't beat me to it, I would've blogged it as well!
  7. This is really great, I like how it is on a brick base, instead of a baseplate. And, at first, I though that this was the church from "Rocky Horror Picture Show"!
  8. Thanks LT, I'll take all of the good luck I can get!
  9. B-OM-26D When the Modular Madness contest originally came up, and I noticed there was a Parks and Rec category, one thing clicked in my mind-"A beach". You see, I've always wanted to have a beach, or something similar in my city, and this provided just the kick that I needed to get me moving twoards it. Life's a Beach by Dakar A, on Flickr (Note to Admins: If the editing is a problem, just send me a PM and I'll change it! ) Here, we have the sterotypical beach scene: a sunbather (Who was out a little too long! ;) ), weightlifters, a hula dancer, a boardwalk, sandcastle, a surfer and more! Life's a Beach 3 by Dakar A, on Flickr Let this be a lesson to you kids: If you stay out in the sun too long, then your face will cook off. So, remeber to use that sunblock! Life's a Beach 5 by Dakar A, on Flickr Knowing this was a beach scene, I just HAD to include a beach cruiser, and Lego's bikes work surprisingly well in the role! Life's a Beach 7 by Dakar A, on Flickr This little scene idea came in my head when I was looking through some of my minifig parts, and the idea to completely flip-flop (See what I did there!? ) the gender roles for a little chuckle. Life's a Beach 10 by Dakar A, on Flickr Finaly, a dynamic veiw up the boardwalk. Since you always have to cross something like this when entering a beach, it was a big part of the MOC. But, I think you'll agree, it turned out really good! Afer a day of catching the waves (Or doing anything else on a beach), salt and sand gets EVERYWHERE, so those tall grey showers are invaluable. Also, with the way the tiles are set on the boardwalk, the fisherman got a little... tipsy. There are more photos in the Life's a Beach Flickr set, so go on over and check it out. And, as always, thanks for taking time to look at this.
  10. The drivers look too grumpy to be driving such beautiful cars! These MOCs are great, I'd have to say my favourite parts are the poited nose, and the glass cover over the engine. Love the cars, maybe we'll see them in a bigger MOC?
  11. Are you admitting that you're scum? If so, you just helped the Town a LOT! Thanks.
  12. Don't worry, I'll be Bach in a matter of minuets, with more Scum identities than you can Handel.
  13. Me too! Lt's use our final ours to try and out some Scum.
  14. Honestly, I feel that Dragonator would probably be more likely to be scum than you, but I couldn't really get a read off of him, but I could get one from you. Sorry about that, since we can't edit just imagine that Rufus becomes Dragonator in my above statement.
  15. Well, seeing as I will most likely be dead before tommorow morning, I just wanted to share my suspicions, and go out with a bang!
  16. Alright. When I flip Town, I suggest you go after Tamamono and Rufus, they seemed to be the quickest to choose me, and I have a good feeling that one of them is most likely Scum, if not both.
  17. I wasn't trying to suggest a lynch on him, I was just trying to expand on what Scuba had said. And nowhere did I mention post numbers.
  18. OK, then YOU explain his strange behavior.
  19. Yes, it was a joke, seeing as we don't have very many solid facts in mafia.
  20. It doesn't clearly point anywhere, I was just surmising that his posting infrequently, and being less agressive than in the simulator, could show an altreior motive.
  21. Sorry, I do that sometimes, and I really shouldn't. There's also a good chance he could be the Scum killer, I belive both postions woud act in a very similar way.
  22. I'm sorry, I was trying to make a point to Hinck but I found I was wrong, so I changed the name. I'm sorry, I'm new. Better? In truth, I try not to use my noobish-ness as a defense, because anyone could claim that. I try to defend my case using facts as much as possible, and only resort to things like that when everything else is cut off. Oh, and I was trying to make a point to BrickDoctor, not Hinck. Thanks for reading my defense so thoroughly.
  23. Perhaps he has a valuable role (Scum or Town), and therefore, he's trying to fly more under the radar to protect it. It could be that he is our Vig, and is active enough to draw out what he wants from his targets, or he could be the doctor, or the cop, but I think Vig is the most likely.
  24. I understand that you're showing us where you stand, and giving yourself a breif summary, but could you maybe add more to this staement?Possibly tell us why you're so sure that Pewter (Palathadric) is guilty. No doubts that he is, I just want to know what made you so sure.
