  1. I personally feel that the normal format of EB works fine for me on my iTouch, my only issue is adding smilies and other special BBCode elements. Although, I've actually figured out the coding for what I use most, so that isn't so much of an issue anymore. By the way Seigfreid, is the invision app for browsing ALL IP boards, or just a specific one?
  2. Wow! If a store ever opens up in North Florida , then I'll be there, at the door, getting one of these beauties. For now, I'll just wait, and maybe build my own Modular scale version, the parts shouldn't be to hard to get, and it would look great! Great reveiw, although I'm sure you've heard that 1,000,000 times by now!
  3. Wow! I remember noticing the beginnings of this when you posted the XXL Grand Emporium and Fire Brigade, but I wasn't sure as to what I wold be! This looks really great, the stonework on he first floor is exquisite. The story about the medium made me chuckle, and he interior is great. Jonathan beat me to the punch of blogging this, so I'll have to catch you next time, with the police station.
  4. This is awesome, I saw it this morning on Flickr, and it is just so unique. It doesn't fall into the all-to-frequent ruts of lego building designs, and is still astheticaly pleasing. Top-notch job!
  5. Wow! I figured the discussion would be long with 26 players, but 20 pages!? I guess a lot goes on in the Jedi temple! Good game so far, masked, I'll try and follow it a little better!
  6. Although this is probably only part of the issue with the Serenity and SotD, lisencing wouuld probably also be a major issue, sine there is little profitatbility in films and shows that Lego's core audience (6-11, for those not in the loop)will probably not see untill they enter their Dark Ages (many permanently). THus, there would not be as much interest as a show that many of them can see on Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon (SW: The clone wars, multipule superheros shows, sponge bob, to name a few). Lack of interest=lack of sales= Lego reports a loss . SO, not only is the violence an issue, so is the lack of knowledege of source material. Also, Cuusoo probably doesn't have as large a production budget as the rest of development at TLG (As far as I've seen, they only have 1 designer!), which might explain part of the decision not to create a set with the Win. It's a HUGE MOC, and would be hard to get across to the rest of the company as a good idea, even if it was downsized. Well, that's my rant summary, glad I'm done!
  7. Amazing build, I've always liked the prarie style of buildings. This one looks great, and, it may be blasphemous, but I think this looks better than the robie house set! All-around awesome!
  8. Hahaha! So true. I just hope that My Little Pony doesn't get to 10,000 before the Western Town, Vampire GT, Motorized Tachi, or the Space Marines. Maybe the FOL community will get big enough on Cuusoo to be a major deciding factor on projects, a system of checks and balances.
  9. Hmm... I had never thought of it that way. But, most of the projects that recently reached 10,000 had some sort of celebrity support (Winchester, Firefly, Minecraft) through Twitter or Facebook, and threrfore may have gotten useres who will support once and forget about Cuusoo, simply supporting to get their favorite movie or show to reveiw.
  10. Well, with this now on sale, I may have to consider getting this! Curse you Fangy! The set looks great, and the review only makes it look even better. The first couple of steps gave me the same idea, maybe I'll get it just to modify it into a spaceship. So much fun in such a little package!
  11. Thanks! The colour blocking is fun, but it's a science, and I still need practice! Also, it's not an air scoop, it's a scramjet, or at least a future imagining of one!
  12. Well, that's quite "something"! Since I saw the movie, that seems a bit lore correct than the set.
  13. A two-by-two round brick will also fit nice and snug in any space that the wheel you mentioned will fit in, and it works really well since it has a hole for a technic axle!
  14. Somewhat related, do ambassadors take suggestions for locations for Lego stores? If so, the St. John's Towncenter in Jacksonville FL would be a great place for a store!
  15. Somewhat off topic, but until I did a quick search, I had no idea what galidor looked like. Now that I did a search, I remember all the way back to 2002, when my Dad and I went to a McDonalds, and I got a happy meal with a galidor toy. II never palyed with it, and hadn't really thought about it untill now, but it brings back a major wave of nostalgia. But Bioncle wins, hands-down.
  16. Maybe try tinyurl.com, it may or may not work, I'm not sure....
  17. Also, I have noticed that occasionally when posting from my I-pod, the font size on my post and others has beenshrunk to size one, instead of the standard size three, making it hard to read. I don't think I'm the only one with this problem, since I've seen other posts like it. After editing the post once, it changes back, though.

    Doctor who

Supported! THe quality of the build and design should give you a good shot at 10,000 regardless of the source material, but combinig that with the cult-ish following of Doctor Who should give you a great shot at 10,000
  19. Clone reserve trooper CX 514-B reporting for duty, sir! Prepped and ready to replace comrades wounded by RL, sir!
  20. Oh! Well, the gives a higher chance of production, although I think that if Lego were to product this, I hope they would expand on this!
  21. Yeah, Migles had time to whip up a set concept, but he didn't, and seeing as it is ONLY minifigs, this probably has little chance of making it.
  22. Wow. I was half-asleep when posting that, thanks for pointing out my mistake!
  23. You mean that tough guy with the Australian accent who dances and sings? I think his name is Hugh Jackman.
  24. ..., it's a fully operational battle station! Muwahahahaha!
  25. Congrats to the winners! The butcher entry and 3-D T.V. weere especially great, no surprise that they won! Also, did I hear something about a raffle?
