  1. You guys, I'm sorry about the toothbrush shortages, I used all of them and a small reactor to build a working Babbage engine. If you want to see it, come on down to deck B-7!
  2. If this gets violent, we'll see plenty of red shirts. Obviously, with our advanced technology, we don't need HUMAN redshirts, we can use robots!
  3. Ensign Timothy Mandel, engineer here, ready to tinker, tick, soder, and build whatever this fine vessel needs to keep her running smooth! By the way does anyone have anything they need fixing? Solar pannels, phasers, lightsabres, rogue computers, fish, MOCs? I could really use a project right now. Maybe that UCS Death Star set would be a good place to start...
  4. This looks amazing! The masculine part is definetly noticable, and the dilapidation is appropriately used. Whe I get the chance, I'll blog it!
  5. 1) Mafia History (of course)- Passed Sandy's Mafia School- A bedtime story. Carefully observed Hinckley's Steampunk Mafia, and periodically checked the Jedi temple mafia. Also, I've played Mafia in real life a few times as well. 2) What is space (in your own words)- Well, when I was younger, I was interesed in the shuttle program, but the fear of exploding on the way to orbit was a bit... discomforting. Space is giant ships, starfighters, rival factions (Blacktron forever!), moonbases, aliens, and of course, huge, honking rocket boosters! 3) What is 2 + 2?- I'm sorry Bob. I'm afraid I can't do that.
  6. Wow! This is amazing, the unique shaping, brilliant splashes of red amongst the tand brickwork, and the general shape are all spectacular! Love it from every angle! Also, blogged, on Brick Town Talk!
  7. I like #3 the best, but as with the others, I think two headlight bricks with a black grille plate on the front would look even better than the hingebrick. But in the end, it's up to you! P.S.- I'm guessing that this is part of the blurred car pictures you psoted to Flickr a few days ago?
  8. This is great, and would be super- usefull! My only suggestion would be to add fall textures to the pack. I know that Lego itself doesn't produce autmn coloured leaves, but I've seem that someone went out and did it for theme. If you could get this through, I'd suggest adding two fall trees, and maybe a barren winter one, or even a spring tree! I'll support this, yeah!

A little city!? That, my friend, is a large city. It's all very impressive, and I like how you transfered from a downtown area to more suburban land. The 'glass' buildings look quite good, and the inclusion of a major water sourece just makes it even better! Keep it up!
  10. Looking good! The photography is done very well, and so is the build! The mnfig struggling with all the cardboard is a great addition, and the containers are excellent as well. I would suggest changing the couple of the second container to differentiate it from the first, though.
  11. That sounds like a great idea, similar to the group shot for Novvember on Flickr! Supporters x2!
  12. I love all of the details on the building, but the stories of all of the individual charachters in the street are just fantastic! The tram is a beauty also! Blogged on Brick Town Talk!
  13. Hahaha! When I was younger, I would sometimes have fantasies of being in the bathroom of a target at closing time, getting locked in, and spending the whole night building all of their large Lego sets. It's obviously impossible, but such sweet dreams...
  14. Great reveiw Redhead! I may have to pick this one up, for all of the colourfull Friends peices (I haven't gotten any Freinds sets yet! ). The Azure bycicle looks great, as does the surfboard! The all clear windscreen is a nice addition (It's usually in larger City sets, but not the smaller ones). Great reveiw again!
  15. I'm not sure wether this has been posted in here or not, but on the CUUSOO blog they go into depth on what will happen with production of CUUSOO sets and standards for reveiw selection (including profitablity!), with promises to go more into depth in the coming weeks!
  16. That sounds like a decsion that TLG would make. If they make it clear to the user what is and isn't gooing to work, it not only prvents oversaturation of un-liscensable projects, it also allows users to become more imaginative, and bring good projects, like the Space Marines, out of the woodwork. If you look to the current top projects, it's easy to see that the Dark Bucket won't make it through, based on Lego's comments on it. THat will discourage people from adding projects that have a similar concept, and prevents possible cluttering of the system. Also, I belevie that the current top projects (liscensed, that is) are a direct result of the success of Mincraft. Some smart people out there realised thattheir favourite cult show/movie/videogame had a good chance of getting a lot of exposure, and the better of these projects worked their way to the top. Once they are rejceted (assuming that they are), people will realise that EVRY popular thing that they think of is not guarnteed to become a Lego project, and will hopefully take some more time and think through their project idea a little more!
  17. I like the classic town look of this set, and the new parts (engines, multi-faceted windos) make it look really nice. I want one of these now!
  18. Wow! Another Jacksonville FOL! Nice to meet you, I'm Dakar! I've gone by that one a few times too, it looks great! Rufus, you should be proud of this little guy. The scaling is done quite well, and I like all of the SNOT variations all over the body. The landng gear is also good, and I especially like the Mad Phyiscist-esque cockpit front. Altogether an A+ MOC!
  19. This is great! As the others said, the coulrs really pop, but the highlight for me was the brickwork, it's just so realistic! Blogged on Brick Town Talk!
  20. Hey Hinck (Or Ricecraker, or Phred, or whomever! ), I was just looking through the Index, and I noticed that my Optometrist wasn't indexed. Here's the link: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=68903&st=0&p=1264947entry1264947, I would be forever greatful if it could be indexed.
  21. This guy is great, the space conservative floors are great, and so is the master bedroom/ bathroom combo. I'll have to blog this, but wait a little, you've got a few already posted this week!
  22. 11)= 2 votes 31) = 2 votes 10) = 1 vote They all looked great, good luck to all of the entrants!
  23. THe church is great, and the MODs too! One question, though: is the tan one inspired by Joathan (SonicStarlight's) version, or is it just coincedence? Awseome job!
  24. This was just too good to pass up. As the others said, the scaffolding is brilliant, and I love the use of the large windows in the front. As per usual , blogged on Brick Town Talk! Keep up the great series!
