  1. Look at the skylight! it seems to use the same technique from Olivia's house (for the shower doors). Dakar
  2. Also, mikey, save that image, because at some point, the Iron fist of Lego leak protection will swing down and clear away those images untill March. Plus, could you give us a link to the image? Dakar I fixed the pic's. Thie issue was that "http://" was typed twice. Dakar EDIT- It seems to be 32x32, so regular footprint, just taller! EDIT 2- Mikey fixed the pics, no need for duplicates
  3. Oooohhh YEAH! Dark orange! Now how'd you get your hands on this? Thanks so much! Dakar
  4. Hmm... Sounds like you're right Siegfried. Untill a group of computer savy, motivated AFOL's come together, this seems to be closer to a dream than reality. But, you never know. Mabye with a bit of collaboration between users on here, we could churn out some simple guidelines, or at least an organizational system that could be used in the future, wether here on EB or on a MOC index. So let's get some ideas out there! (P.S.- thanks for all the feedback!) Dakar
  5. I just had an epiphany. The sure could operate similarly to YouTube, with MOC's instead of videos. The homepage could have trending MOC's, with different categories of popular MOC's (town, space, sic-Fi, star wars, etc.). You could also search through all MOCs, or just browse by going to a random MOC. Hope thislends more clarity. Dakar
  6. If the Vestas windmill is anything to go off of, we will have our oil rig soon. And with it, many Oil Rig disaster scenarios! Muwahahahahahaha Drill on! (And hope on!) Dakar
  7. Cake, the White Stripes, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, etc. Most alt. music is cool with me, along with some other songs from othe genres. DISCLAIMER: This song has a ridiculous tendency to get suck in your head. YOU WERE WARNED Dakar
  8. I watch Top Gear reguarly, my name starts with a d, and I enjoy rally racing, so Dakar fell out of that. The A is for my last name, and that's it! Psyeudonym on! Dakar
  9. Congrats! Make sure to bring them up right, with Lego out the wazuu (Though from what I know about you, that shouldn't be a problem ). Dakar
  10. It seems to be somewhat of a sort of a mental block. I can seperate sets (sometimes) but only if they are seethingly different from the theme I build (Town). I have my eyes on seperating my Neptune Cruiser and Blacksmith Attack sets, but, excluding the fire station (I already had the FB), I usually don't part out my sets. On the other hand, I find it eaiser to part out MOC's, I don't know why. They are usually not as attractive as a set. So those are my thoughts on the matter. Dakar
  11. I agree with LT, these would make a great theme. I've seen this before as a miniland scale MOC, but never in minifig scale! Looks picture perfect. Zoinks! Dakar
  12. Okay (not ok-ey) Dokey, Salvo! But honestly, this is one of the best MOD's I've seen in a long time, and with a lmited number of bricks. Brick on, Dakar
  13. Magic eh? Sounds like you need to get more Kingdoms polybags then? I have The Republic attack cruiser Built in bag now, nothing else off the top of my head. Dakar
  14. Last night, I had an idea that I personally think was brilliant. I often go to many different websites with Lego (TBB, EB, The living brick, Micro Bricks, Classic town, Brickshelf), and sometimes all I'm looking for is MOC's. I enjoy speculations and such, but I personally have never seen a website for MOC's only. So I thought: "There are quite a few people in the AFOL community who might be inteested in something like this". Here are some criterion that I thought up: Comprehensive MOC index Random page option All MOC's would be listed, on-site, with external links Informational blurb about each creation Easy to browse Community section Soft on the eyes background So I was wondering if anyone had any advice or would like to collaborate on this project. Tell any advice in the comments. For now, I believe the name Mocdex has a nice ring to it. Dakar

  16. This seems like a great place for those pesky 8x16 baseplates (If you have any). Bank On! (See what I did there!?! ) Dakar
  17. Interesting, Danim. I'm curious, what's with the lava? Nice busy city you've got there, hope to see it expanded in the future! Dakar
  18. I like it, Mr. Simpson! A local library is what I'd call my beginning as a FOL. I agree with LT, plus, your photography skills improve too! A white background, no flash and a 1 on the exposure gas worked well for me, but that might not be the case here, eh? I enjOyed seeing this MOC and look forward to your Future MOC's! Au Revior, Dakar
  19. Oh how I wish I had that many pales in the tan shades... Great building! I may have to steal your idea (Muwahahahaha! ), but that only means that It is brilliant! Congrats on theis Meautiful Modular, and I hope to see more MOC's out of you (In tan, of corse..) Brick On, Dakar
  20. Just supported this on Cussoo. Quoted the interior, colours, and figs as reasons I would buy. Said I would pay USD $175. Dakar
  21. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Can't wait to see this finished! Dakar
  22. Those old trans-medium blue windscreens don't like to stay scratch free, do they, eh? I have some other old 90's sets like these, same results on the windscreens. Nice Reveiw! Dakar
  23. Let me say that pics of your city were some that inspired my own. Also, how is your table set up (Length, width, where you got it, how sturdy it is..) Thanks, Dakar
  24. Yummmmmm Medium nougat and dark green. That would be such a sexy builing, epecially on a large scale. Dakar
