  1. What, no modular buildings? I expected better of you LT! Haha! No idea for me, not as much as I would have liked... Dakar
  2. Nice! I like it as a pub, but I would personally prefer it as a townhouse. The colour scheeme kinda lends itself to that. Plus, it seems that every othe modular MOC is a pub ! Mod on, Dakar
  3. My guess would be taller, because I don't think TLC make the boxes much larger than the ones opne the current modulars, so It would be hard to fit a 48x48 baseplate in one of those, PLUS more peices! So I'd go with taller Logic, Tehehehehe! Dakar

    9v Planes

I'm not sure where on teh interwebs I saw it, but if someone were to scale down, say a B2 bomber (158,000 lbs) to minifig scale (1:48)the model could feasibly weigh aroung 3280 lbs. Now just tyo find a motor to power it.. Dakar
  5. Nice! For a bit of originality, you could make it a submarine , like the Lotus in a James bond movie, and call it "the yellow submobile" Kudos, Dakar
  6. Got the fixed! Thanks Ricecracker! Dakar
  7. Between your modifications an redhead's review, cimwwdic ( I hope I'm spelling that right! ) my mouth is wattering over this new set. I guess I'll just have to make modifications to my city for it to fit. I love both of your modifications, and am jealous of the number of green peices you own! Kudos, Dakar
  8. Thanks for all the nice comments, tedbeard, Ricecracker, and Bootz. In response to your post Ricecracker, I hope to have the reduced images up by tonight. I used a group photo re-sizer, and it must have missed a few images! Kudos, Dakar
  9. I agree, awesome roof! The colours just work really well together! I can't wait to see this completed. Dakar
  10. Layout Ciao! Back in 2011, I posted this with a mild response. Now I'm back for round two. After getting some more sets, photography experience, time, and editing experience, I've re-photographed my city. You be the judge The city is built up on a puzzle board, and a modular scaffoling system I threw together. As you drive down main street, you will see shoping, fire and police services, a pet shop, a grocer, a videogame store, and apartment buildings. It seems that in my photography efforts, I murdered a few figs... oops ! If you take a look to your right, you will see the police department, Pet Shop, Monster Games, and Redbrick apartments. I personally think the facades fit very well together. What's your opinion? Tell me in the comments! And if you take a look to your left, you will see the Green Grocer, the Reserve at Studweel and Firehouse apartments. (Yellow and Red builings, respectively) The new Bricktist hospital has been renovated since its opening in 2007, with a fountian out front, and more space on both sides, making it a contender for hospital of the year! With a response time of 30 seconds or less, the Studwell fire department has received generous donations toward keeping the old firehouse, wile making it a viable service in the 21st century. We are all proud of our men and women in blue, with their friendly smiles and devotion to justice. They are so eager, some of them even jump into their cars! The street corner, with my own custom designed streetlamps, inspired by my neighborhood. The psotman delivers just about everything, anywhere, but for a price... The bus stops are new and modern, seems like it it might be a good idea for me to build a bus.. And a Cherry picker with electrician, doing his job with a SMILE! Thanks for reading this and leaving the Friends for a little while . Please tell me what you think in the comments: what you want to see next time, any improvements, whatever you can think of. More pictures on my Brickshelf Kudos, Dakar
  11. Awesome! I can only imaginge the blood, sweat, tears (and time recouperating with Modulex! ) that went into this, and the customizations make this a one of a kind, just like the rel one! Brick on! Dakar
  12. Yay, no more wet money! I'm liking this a lot, espically with the roof complete. It really proclaims NORDIC, and I'm sure fits quite well with your other buildings. Mabye you should build a corner biulding next.. wink, wink Kudos, Dakar
  13. This MOC is made as a cross between the truck in my earlier post and this one: Brick On Dakar
  14. Hmmm.... Now how might one know that without having some pictures, hmmmmmm? Just kidding, nice to get confirmation on the number of peices and name. Be sure to tell us all you can HighFlyer! Dakar
  15. Awesome! I think you should also make one in black, as a stealth bomber, although I'm pretty sure they don't make all those peices in black! Dakar
  16. That's my new avatar. Now it's probably just a problem on my side, but just to be 100% sure, the avatar Is the image at the upper left of my posts, correct? EDIT: Just double checked, I's working now. Mabye the server just needed some time to change it, or something. Thanks for the help, Brickdoctor and Rick!
  17. I don't know if it's because I'm still a Vassal, or what, but every time I go to change my avatar, it just ends up being the same picture!! I've tried just about everything, from removing my picture to logging off, but nothing seems to do the trick!! Gaahhh!! Has anyone else encountered this problem?? Dakar
  18. Congratulations! And nice job getting that life of George set. I'm jealous... Dakar
  19. Ahh I see! It's a brilliant combination of a few hinges, and some clever SNOT work and good slope support. Kind of like a super-sized, street based escalator (the one from the grand emporium). Thanks for the reply, once I have a table built so that I can expand my city, I plan on building a river with a small car bridge, and I might just have to steal this technique! Amazing work, I can't wait to see the final version. Brick on! Dakar
  20. Something similar happened to me at the Cincinati Lego store last week. I was doing a PAB large cup and they had a large cardboard box filled with the pars from 6 or so WV Post Offices, so needles to say, I began filling up on light bricks, windows (In brown ) and dark green peices. It was an AMAZING deal, and it seems that if timed just right, this would be a great oppritunity for all. P.S. I went on christmas eve, iin the early morning. Dakar
  21. I'm really liking all of you modulars BlueBard! Just one question, though. Do you use a specific editing software to get rid of the background, or do you spend hours on MS paint getting the images just right for us? I was thinking of doing something similar with my next town update and would appriciate any tips you could give. Brick On, Dakar
  22. It's meant to be something like this... And yes, it seems that one too many an unwarry citizen has hat to go to emergency surgery due to falling pallets... Dakar
  23. Great reveiw Pandora ! I enjoyed reading this reveiw, and getting my first glimpse at this set (Although it WAS a little long winded ). My main overriding thought for this was that, if in real life, the cuttlery and appliances would look as though they belonged in the 60's with all of their lead filled yumminess! I PROBABLY won't be getting this set, not because I'm a guy, but because of the price, and a (sadly) limited ammount of Lego buying power. Howerver, this reveiw and Hinckley's reveiw of the bake shop have convinced me to try and get at least one or more Friends set when they come in to my local Target. Great job with the photography and the reveiw. Brick On! Dakar
  24. V-LC-15A Bonjour! It's Dakar here with my first 6-wide published MOC! After purchasing my first copy of 3366 Satalite Launch Pad, I got a second copy at Target, on sale, and a copy of the Kingdom's polybag target parctice. I then dumped the peices out, and built this: I tried to build it in the style of the newer city trucks, while still keeping an attractive colour scheme and incorporating the new swept-back windscreen. At first, I tried to build a missile truck, but the wheelbase was too short, and the peices did not fit the shape my imagination had perscribed. Enough jibber-jabber (I've always wanted to say that! ) The truck is similar to a pick-up, but one that is still able to carry pallets. It can hold anything that is 6x6, so it could be modified to make a UPS/package truck. The Red/whie/grey colour scheem is meant to be reminiscent of 7747 windmill transporter. The pallet has on it: 4 panes of glass, a lamp, an apple crate,a computer, two propane tanks, a large fuel tank, and two bottles of champane. Near the cabin is a refrigerated compratment, holding fruit, dairy, and other perishables (Not Removeable). The driver, who accounts this blurry photo to his use of a polariod, in a snow! My personal favorite part of the build, the SNOT-180 rear bumper. No specific use, I just felt like adding it! Jack Petersen and his commercially operated Dakar Motors C117 Container truck. Thank you all for reading and showing your interest in this moc! If you like comment! Point out any issues theis has versus a real-world version. And thank you all for reading and the warm welcome I've received here at EB! And look for more town MOCs, coming soon! Brick On, Dakar

    LEGO fire

Nice jobb with the siren AND the fire, really cool effects. But, dot the really need that many engines for a fire of that size, or is the Lego City REALLY have that many fire stations? Great job, good idea, and Brick on AllanSmith! Dakar
