I'm liking this build as much as your amazing grocery store, LT! My only questions is, why do the bank employees need a water dispenser if there is no roof? You should just put a bucket there, instead of spending precious cash on a fancy-dancy water cooler! All in all, great build and keep it up! Dakar

Amazing! The street has to be, 100%, my favourite part. Which leads to the question: how? Is there any particular combination of SNOT bricks and hinges, or is it something else entirely? Congratulations on such a beautiful modular street! Brick on, Dakar

I love it Ralph! Per usual, I can't find any faults, so let me be the first (on this forum) to congratulate you on a perfect build! Brick on, Dakar

Great work, Redhead, I wish I had that for my city! My onlt qualm is the garage door. If I were building this, I would have made it stand out more by making it in blue. Otherwise, I really like the use of mudguards as window toppers, and would like to say that the incorporation of the basketball hoop is very creativee, and that I PROBABLY wouldn't have thought about using that! Brick on! Dakar

So far,so great LT! I really love how you've put it in a modular size (which seems to be outside your comfort zone ) and made it look like the buildings of Denmark (at least in my imagination) while still keeping the awesomeness of well-placed custom stickers. Good luck with the stocking, and Brick On! Dakar

After the Apocalypse RCB

Image 1. Place 2. Place 3. Place 4. Place 5. Place BasOne 6. Place 7. Place 8. PlaceDakar A 9. Place 10. Place This is MY entry! Some say his desire for speed is as great as his desire for brains. And some say his helmet is moulded on Britanny Spears' head. All we know is... HE'S CALLED THE STIG. Soon after the apocalapse occured, the Stig finally revealed his true identity as a seven-eyed zombie. While this explained his uncanny ability to listen to the Beegees in spanish, it didn't help humanity's hopes, knowing that a zombie had hidden among them for so long. He is the first known zombie with any known motor skills, and he speaks in clicks, making him a natural leader. After all of this is over, he hopes to return to his past-times of Lego building, golf, and brain snacking. Don't worry BasOne! You finally have a teammate! Dakar -
This is just like anything else on the Internet. On YouTube, 99% of the comments are either rude, hatefull or vulgar. The sad fact is that the Internet gives people a wall to hide behind, allowing them to hide behind a wall of anonymity. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but I thought I'd share my point of view.

Thanks for all the positive comments! In response to some of the questions, I do have two more modulate, which I will hopefully get to photographing soon. I will have to check, I mayormay not have enough peices in other colours to change the sign on top. Thanks for the comments, and keep em' coming!

I'd like to sign up for zombies in spot 3. I'll work on getting a zombie fig together. Sounds like fun! Dakar -
If you have a flickr account, then I'm sure you could send some sort of message to d-hingdon, and ask her for instructions, or tips, since she seems to have some eerie gift for building minifig scale furniture!

his could be a good sign or a bad one, but right now, it seems like the site is getting bogged down by all the trafic (Presumably from here on EB), soit looks like I'll have to wait bit to sign up!

First Ralph, let me say that these are amazing, all of them! 2ndly, the 3-series and Crown Vic were instantly reconizeable! You got that impossible kidney grill on the 3-series perfect, and the Golf ws also recognized after a second. As always, you MOCs do not cease to amaze and inspire me. Brick On! Dakar

Hello all! Dakar here, with a modular MOC that I've been procrastinating abuot photographing. I don't know if it's because this is my first modular, or that the dish in the center takes up space that should be used for windows. Either way, please don't hold any bars when suggesting changes in the comments . Anyways, as I said, this was my first modular designed. It has 2 floors and a roof, all removeable. The first floor is a videogame store, with back passage and stairs, as well as some game racks, a BS3, and 2 T.V.'s. I had some interior for the second floor, but it was kind of thrown together, so I would also like some design suggestions on that. This is the front 3/4 veiw. I designed this around the Bioncle Glatorian Dish, and everything followed from that. The tan facade on the first floor is a new addition, having added it yesterday. Otherwise, the rest has been built for a few months. For lack of enough of any other colour, I used red for the 2nd floor (plus, it matches the sheild). This is the side. The back was photographed, but besides a door, there's nothing of interest there... The front, modular street view. I'm thinking of adding this togtther with my new Pet Shop. You can see my lettering and light system on the roof. There's also a collection of trans-red bricks behind the recessed roof window, but it's kinda hidden.. The second floor. As I said, it's barren... The first floor. The flash makes everything whiter, but I may take more interior photos, if the changes suggested look good. And finally, the front veiw. The "storm trooper" is a cardboard cutout as an advertisement for some unknown Star Wars game! Thanks for bearing with me, I hope you enjoyed it, there will be more to come, and they will hopefully be even better! Dakar

Nice work and Happy Birthday Led Godt Gud! I too am reminded of the gt cars from touring car races like LeMans. My only suggestion would be that you hit up LT and get him to make some details for you! All in all, these are great cars and I will soon have to steal this idea from you! Dakar

"Wouldn't it be lovely?". And lovely this is! I'm sorry, but the lady with the umbrella reminded me of pygmallion. All rambling aside, this is fantastically detailed, and is exactly what I think of when I think of 1900's London! Kudos, Dakar

I just received Power Functions motor set, and I was wondering, Is there a good way to incorporate these lights into a building? The tops are where the most light comes from, and it appears to work with a stud connection. Thanks in advance! Dakar

Nice! Maybe you should 'borrow' some techniques from the Green Grocer. Dakar
-
If the rest of the Town people are like me, I hardley ever check technic. But your car models would be a breath of fresh air to some of us in town, plus, we can see the great building techniques you use, and "borrow" them... If you want veiws, you've got a good chance of getting them in Town. Dakar P.S.- I think all of the models you have pictures of in this thread are great!!

Nice LT! This must be built to fit in with the City-style building sysem (construction site, bank and money transfer). Because if this was to go with a modular... Great job! Dakar
-
I wonder if this one is legitimate, or just another rip-off, similar to the ones of Jamie bernard's and others... If it is legit, then that is very impressive. I very much so hope it is... Dakar

LOL, LT. So that's why their burgers are so plasticy. And kudos to you with the promptness and great storytelling, minifig_Erik. Write on, Dakar

This MOC is great Alois! By the way, is that the Minister of Silly Walks sitting on the front bench in the park?

This is great! Your city would probably fill my entire room! Brick On! Dakar

On led extended mode, I remember seeing a part that was either a swimming pool or a bathtub. It's probably a pretty old part, though.

It might have something to do with your age. If you are under 18 on your S@H, it might not work. The same thing is happening to me.
