  1. Please don't quote an entire huge post. This also looks suspiciously like an advertisement for another site.
  2. I actually liked the red, but I have no strong opinion either way. Just don't make it white.
  3. Whether or not you've provided links and pictures, you are still violating site guidelines: If you intend to provide financial support to one of these illegal manufacturers, we certainly don't need to hear about it here.
  4. A really good MOC, and I love the video on snow! It performs very much like a real snowmobile. The stiffness of the suspension looks just right. For the photo instructions, I would recommend using the white version just because black can hide details in photographs. On the other hand, your photos are always fantastic.
  5. Nice mechanism. It has much in common with the bolt action carbine from the "Lego Heavy Weapons" book.
  6. There have actually been 3 telehandlers before: 8283, 8045, and 8295. But you picked the one that looks most like the new one and is therefore best for comparison, although the picture in your video is actually the B-model. I like the use of the Arocs extension parts here. It is good that we can get them in a much cheaper set.
  7. 2Legoornot2Lego uses rubber band suspension in all his trucks. Works great.
  8. Exactly. We still don't have small long panels in blue, and I need them for my Audi!
  9. Which model are you talking about? There are only three models with video instructions.
  10. It grips. You can still slide it, of course, but it takes a bit of force.
  11. I will be creating one but not until I finish the instructions just in case anything changes.
  12. Wow, some great work there. The synthesized parts are certainly good enough, and I like the separate drivetrain image. I can probably make that happen, but I have a couple of other projects to finish first. What is the purpose of the rubber bands strapping the strings to the ladder?
  13. Yes, it remembers the program indefinitely until you over-write it. If you want to be extra sure, you could also put batteries in it. It won't use the batteries if it is plugged in, but it would guarantee you'd always have the memory.
  14. Wow, great setup. I like the additional switch track you added to the train so you could use both loaders.
  15. You can shut off the stretch feature in LSynth. That's how I made the exhaust manifold. You might want to experiment with it for next time because it saves a lot of time. I thought you probably did it manually and I know how much work it is, so amazing effort!
  16. I don't think there is a spec. It just records your actions and then replays them.
  17. I've taken the opportunity to convert the LDD file to LDraw and to replace all the dummy pneumatic parts with their proper parts. Looks really nice; this one is on my list to build. One thing that would be really helpful is some guidelines for routing the pneumatic hoses since they are so extensive.
  18. I love Blacktron and this model is marvelous. Your leaning steering system is a good idea, and is somewhat similar to what was used on the old 8226 buggy.
  19. If you want to go all LEGO, you could get one of the old Control Center controllers. It can be powered from wall power and can be programmed to do simple things like run for 30 seconds, pause, then go back for 30 seconds. For public interface, you could have an external lever that reaches through the display and pushes "play" on the Control Center. You don't need microswitches if you use clutch gears to allow free spin once you hit the stops.
  20. The train regulator is not necessary but it is very convenient. You could just power your GBC directly off a battery box, but then you would not be able to control the speed and you would have to replace batteries. The regulator can run from wall power and has speed control.
  21. That's some pretty incredible work on the fenders. Did you use a custom definition in LSynth, or did you position them manually? When I did the exhaust manifolds on Barman's V-8, I managed to add the 2x2 round plate to LSynth as an object and have it auto generate this:
  22. Your wish shall be granted. Getting people to spend money is my specialty. Don't forget to go to Bricksafe to see the full size version of that render if you like it.
  23. I finally got a chance to make some renders of this. And for those who wondered how the size compares to the Porsche:
