  2. Got the new Y-wing yesterday.
  3. No they wouldn't let me the fig only. Also my store always rounds the prices up to the nearest pound. An example of this is the Jedi I interceptor it's £34.99 online but in my store it's £35. When I was paying for my Y-wing I didn't get the figure. It turned out the store took a penny of all star wars sets for a day so I had to buy another star wars item to get the fig. I know it was just the star wars line because I also got the hulks breakout and that was £50. . I wish I had order it online as I could have finished the marvel line. In store they were pretty strict it had to be on Lego star wars. Bit unfair that the website gets a different set of rules.
  4. Just got back from my local store and am please with the fig Lego left a lot of places grey however . Its still a cool fig and the poster and mini Tie seal the deal.
  5. It would be possible to make a mini scale carrier. Just get a lot of the mini quinjets when they come out and use them for the scale.
  6. Thanks for the heads up will certainly keep eye out for this guy.
  7. I just think it would be very unlikely as these two films are competing against each other this year. Its possible that lego chose to comic book based Batman sets rather than the film because of the following. A) there's more possibilities in characters and vehicles. B) there's a chance to bring in other DC heroes. In the Avengers however we already get a good selection of characters from the film. Maybe Lego added the X-men and Spidey to add some variety. Plus it would make more sense to make Avengers sets over Dark knight as the Nolan films are finishing now. Look at how many other themes Lego have released where they play catch up: Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones. The interest in the franchise dies down after the films been out for a while. With the Avengers there's a least two more films, add that to the individual films like Ironman 3 and Thor 2. We could get another 4 years of Marvel film stuff. With Batman we would be lucky to one and a half. The films are only separated by two months.
  8. Just rang the Milton Keynes Lego store in England and, they said they are doing the promotion tomorrow. Cant wait!!!!!
  9. Are our entries allowed to be related to a licensed theme like for example a Gotham police station? Also is there a limit on how tall it can be?
  10. They wouldn't release dark knight sets at the same time as the Avengers ones. they could release them later on in the year like the fall maybe but they most likely had to choose between the two.
  11. In the new hawkeye polybag it looks like he has reddish brown hair. Are they changing it already?
  12. Hi everyone I'm looking at maybe buying a modular building and to start collecting. I'm looking at buying the 4 which are currently available through LEGO.com. at the moment I'm loving the avengers sets and am looking for amodular which would blend in well a new york environment. So out of the four available which one?
  13. I just emailed lego about my faulty parts and am waiting a rely. Looks like the sets just weren't on the data base a couple of days ago. I haven't bothered with Captain America's shield as I will most likely get a few more of them sets for the aliens. I did tell them about Iron-man as even though I will most likely get another cosmic cube I was hoping to sell the figs on ebay to get some cash back.
  14. The biggest mistake in the avengers sets is in the hulk helicarrier breakout. Why space invaders it should be galiga .
  15. Can't wait to get this book. I hope they do one for the marvel line as well
  16. When the DC line came out I remember seeing some pictures of cracked parts but I haven't heard about any for a few months now.
  17. I've never really been a fan of the modern bike body. I think it's to wide I would have preferred the same bike as the one in wolverine chopper showdown. That said it would have need ed new colours maybe dark red with dark blue highlights or vis versa.
  18. I have my instructions and boxes but what else counts as proof of purchase and how do I get them to Lego once I have emailed them. Also I would hold of from getting any more superheroes until the next shippment but I want to get the Hulk promo and need to spend £50 to get him.
  19. I don't think there's a limit on the household I think the only limit is one per order.
  20. Same here I just got the captain America set yesterday. Was putting together today and saw that the shield printing was over to side by quite a bit and one half of it was faded. So on the superhero line all three sets I have bought all have quality control problems. I might wait till I get the whole line then contact Lego.
  21. It's a very though issue. There are a lot of good models on Cusso that are not licenced and do struggle for votes. I think the answer here is the votecap Lego should lower votes for non liecenced models. Maybe around the 7000 mark. However when you look at the most popular Lego line its gonna be something like star wars and superheroes. I don't like the mine raft set it looks terrible and I highly doubt many people will buy it, but if the back to the future set is made then I'm going to the shop on the day it comes out and getting a couple.
  22. Thanks everyone for the replies I didn't think about phoning Lego. The last time I phoned them must have been when the original adventures sets were out. Thats most likely what I will do if I can't get them replace though the web service. Hopefully thats what's happened. I didn't think the sets were out till may but everywhere has them. Maybe that's why there not on the system. I have to admit that the customer service at Lego is one of the best I've ever dealt with. The only problem is this isn't the first time I've had to contact them about some parts recently. I'm always get Miss printed faces or bricks. It must be my luck. I noticed it to I have star wars gigs from 2005 that are in better condition than some figs that I've bought in february of this year. I wonder what's caused this is it an add chemical or the location that there produced? I know that the DC figs were made in Mexico.
  23. Yes I saw that earlier today . It's amazing how people think its ok to add such crazy prices to things. It's also upsetting though to see so many people try to take advantage of being in lucky situations. To get these it's you had to be invited to breakfast with Lego at toy fair. To have been invite personally and when handed those as tokens of gratitude and for them to think " these will make me a bit of cash". Leo should find a way to stop this some how with all products of there's.
  24. Hey everyone I'm having a issue with some of my recently purchased superheroes sets. About a week and a half go a bought the omsic cube escape and the chopper showdown. The mini figures were put on my shelf as display items. When I looked at them them today I noticed they were damaged. Ironmans legs have cracks down the back and his helmet has a dent in it which I hadn't noticed until now also wolverines arms nd legs are very loose and flimsy and his hair bearly stays on it slides of when he's upside down. I haven't moved the figs at all apart from when constructing the sets. Does anyone have any idea why this may have happened? Also I went onto lego.com to get these parts replaced and when I typed in the set numbers it came up with a message that said, they were unable to replace parts from this set. Does this mean that I'm now stuck with brand new mini figs that are broken. What should I do?
  25. Done. Anything to help TLG
