If it's an exculsive set then I would bet agaisnt it being the Spider-man set. It could be a possible Superheroes set as we haven't got a Lego direct exculsive yet. I would love for it to be a Dark Knight Rises set but it would be intresting to see what would happen with Marvel if that happens. After all this year has had a lot more DC stuff (the video game and a visual dictionary). Maybe they would alternate Exculsive sets each year DC this year Marvel next. However if it is a DC exculsive hopefully a Marvel one will be here fot Christmas.

By believe tescos ran out of the hulk set before I found out. Reduced from £49.99 to £12 it's crazy.

I do like this polybag. It's great to see that Lego gave Lex a different emotion than in his other set. If only they could have done that with Loki. Anyway great review and I look forward to seeing more.

Bad news everyone I recently bought the quiet a few weeks back and I have had all my figs sitting on the shelf. Anyway as I was dusting I removed all the figs and both of my ironmen had cracks in the heels. I'm starting to think its the cylinders that are the problem all the other figs are fine a part from Hulk who has a couple of black spots on him but he was like that when I got him out of the box. I don't know what's causing this I never move them or anything. No one goes in the room apart from me. Looks like I'm gonna have to contact LEGO again

Not sure if they have DareDevil back but I know they have Blade and Punisher back. Although the likely hood of them adding them to a shared universe like the Cinematic universe is low. The target audiences are to different and both Punisher and Blade are aimed at 18+. It sucks but I can understand if Marvel do not add them in. Hopefully by the time Marvel consider rebooting the Avengers franchise which will be at least a decade away, they will have back the rights to everything. It would be awesome for an avengers film to be based around the civil war storyline.

This is great news! So next year Lego are making Man of Steel sets and Iron man 3 sets surely they can just tell us there making Thor sets and have all the upcoming films. Hopefully Lego backtrack so we get sets from the previous films. I would love to see a cave escape or a formula one themed showdown. I can't wait to get Rhodey fig and a Pepper Potts fig.

This never crosses my mind when I'm in the store buying the sets or even when building them, but my first thought is always this looks awesome follow by crap where am I going to put this . They usually take up room on my desk or are put in to a box.

I saw in the news a few weeks back that Mark Ruffalo has signed on for another 6 films. Most likely 3 Hulk films and 3 Avengers films. However some of those films could be cameos, like maybe in a Antman/Giantman or Black Panther film. Also on IGN last week they said that Marvel are cancelling the current Avengers cartoon ( Earths Mightiest Heroes) after season two, and will be replacing it with an Avengers film to tie into the Current Cinematic Marvel Universe. The confirmed Characters are the same as the recent film but there also adding in Falcon. Since this is tied to the Movie and Future films does this mean (A) There maybe a Falcon film or cameo in a Film on the way (B) That LEGO will make sets around this as its based in the same Universe?

I would love to see some inverted tiles so I could make the bottom of my ceilings smooth as well as the top. I would also like to see a wheel chair piece.

I can't wait to get Palpatines arrest. I'm a big Revenge of the Sith fan and this will go nicely with my new Jedi interceptors and Palpatines shuttle. Hopefully we see more of non CW Jedi.

I'm sorry but I have to totally disagree with your argument on racism. Like it or not everyone is different and unique it just a fact of life. By making different skin tones doesn't mean Lego is racist. However Lego city sets represent the model society, a place where everything is perfect, the good guys always win, no death and ever problem can be solved. Oh and everyone is yellow is considerable more racist. Instead of covering up under brainwashing BS, we should celebrate everyone's cultural backgrounds and move on as a society. By your standards in order to offend less people Lego would probably have two torsos, one head, one pair of coloured legs and one male and female hair style( no different coloured hair just brown). That is crazy and if anything singles out anyone who isn't two that distribution as not normal. At school I was taught that racism affects anyone whether it's down to skin colour, hair colour and even gender and sexuality. I always look at Lego like its the Simpsons where the yellow skin tone represents white people and the brown mini figs represent black people. I am positive that if Mace windu or Lando or Seso where yellow mini figs that the black community would be deeply offended. Bringing race into the equation isn't racist it's only when Lego says one race is inferior to another that they maybe called racist. So far to my knowledge Lego has never made a set like that and never will . Equality is about seeing that everyone is different and unique but not labelling stereotypes or by calling those differences inferior.

Let's not forget that Lego probably had to sign an agreement to not let anything about this rumoured set be leaked early. The last thing Nolan wants is part of his final Batman film spoiled. It will most likely just appear one day like the funhouse did. Also the release of this set doesn't have to coincide with anything. There will always be s market for Batman. Just look at Star wars some of the sets for A New Hope don't coincide with anything. Somethings will just sell.

Agreed Lego will most likely focus on the brotherhood before apocalypse. It would be cool if after all possible X-men vs Brotherhood sets that X-men line be changed to X-men apocalypse. This way it would be less confusing for young kids when they see the X- men and Brotherhood team up. Kind of the same way Star wars sets have Clone wars and Old republic on the boxes.

No news about any future sets at the moment but I'm guess we will get to see the upcoming figures at comic con.

I think our best chance of getting a Fury fig is in a visual dictionary. It would be another great reason to buy a dictionary of Lego Marvel Superheroes. Also it would be a great way to tie all the characters together as Nick Fury brings them together in the film and has close links to all superheroes in the comics.

Just check my nearest 4 stores and they don't even stick them sets. There's still another 5 nearby to check though.

Hopefully the new X-men show would look at lot like the comics. Other wise the X-men minifigs will all of a sudden change appearance. I personally think they should keep em based on the comics, and as much as I like USM they should have based the sets on the comics as well. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter what universe the Spider man set is based on. As long as there's an interest in the character at the time ( New movie and TV show) kids will want it.

That's very cool of Lego to send you a whole new hulk. It's probably because it's all bagged together. You should have a look on bricklink for a cheap replacement hand and then customise the old hulk to look like red hulk .

I think Lego will most likely keep the Avengers and Hulk sets based on previous and future films. It might be a bit confusing to kids otherwise. The ultimate Spiderman show isn't too bad and Lego will have enough potential sets on there plate with the second series of USM, Iron-man 3, Thor 2 and X-men. It would be very cool to get Red Hulk and She Hulk plus Ant man but I dont think it will happen. Hope I'm wrong though.

Look like I know where I'm going tomorrow . There's 3 ASDA's in my town surely one should have this offer.

I think we will probably see Nightwing and Killercroc next year and most likely Scarecrow too. Alfred however I'm not sure about as I would have thought he would have been included in the Batcave. Unless Lego release a Wayne Manor there's not many places they could put him unless they just throw him in a set randomly.

I meant as in swap some of the Avengers sets for X men sets. Lego could have easily scrapped the cube escape and the avenging cycle. They could have just put Captain America and the aliens into other sets. Then replace those sets with X-men ones. However because a lot of potential X-men sets are like the Avengers sets then Lego will chose to make more Avengers stuff because of the film.

We will most likely get a masked version of Wolverine but I think it will be after the next Marvel wave. Lego will most likely throw him in a set like the blackbird to boost numbers. I don't see him coming out in another set yet, I mean the chopper showdown is still widely available. It would make a lot of sense to include him in a large set after the first Marvel wave is discontinued. Something like an X-mansion with 2 exculsive villains, 5 exculsive X-men and exculsive variant of Wolverine with mask and different facial emotions. In the Next wave I think we will see a lot more from the X-men. The only reason they were not more involved in this wave is because a lot of possible sets are similar to the Avengers sets. Example: Quinjet=Blackbird

If they do make dark blue legs with dark red boot prints then I think they would be a perfect match for Captain America.
