Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Ye I've seen a few on eBay ( Iron man, Batman, Boba Fett, Darth Maul ect), they look quite cool. Don't know why they changed but, the big draw for me is if the torso and legs aren't glued. -

The Visually Dictionary is just speculation at this point. Also I doubt we will get a Big Marvel Exculsive until next year, and my guess would be a X- mansion. Simply because its a niche product that would sell well in LEGO stores but maybe not in other stores. Where as a Large Iron man or Avengers set would sell well everywhere, so I doubt that LEGO would create an Exculsive on them as it would limit there sales. -

Ye just saw that on the web. Apparently that big suit is called Igor. So either that's the Hulk Buster or there's two big Suits. -

I thought the Heartbreaker would be the Mark 47. The God Killer rumour comes from the trailer. At the end there's a suit that looks a lot like the God Killer. If there is an Exculsive figure in May I would guess either: A Chrome Iron man Mark II A Chrome Red Mark VII or 42 Or an Iron Patriot Minifigure. -

The Hulk Buster is mark 38, The Shotgun is mark 40, And Silver Centurion is Mark 33, Plus I think the Godkiller maybe mark 17. Do you mean the Deep Space suit? -

It's most likely due to the concept art they were given. LEGO sets are designed at least a year before they are manufacture and sold. So the IM3 wave was most likely in the design stages around the time of the Avengers film. At that time IP may have only been in the movie for 30mins and the new grey Warmachine suit was the main suit. Also due to the availability of Actors and how films are shot, they could have shot the IP scenes first and decided to use it through out the film. However that the Warmachine minifigure has a different suit than the IM2 suit ( as explain in the prelude comic ). -

I think they are referring to the Leaked Toy fair pictures, where the Lex Luthor Minifigure head was put on Faora. It looks like it was a mix up as the Luthor minifigure head is on Tor-an instead of Faora. -
Just recieved an email today from VIP, confirming that Double points are in the UK. Think I'm going to wait until April 1st for the Splinter key ring.

Most likely Batman, Thor, Spider-man and maybe X-men and Justice league. -
While not a Film or TV show, Astonishing X-men #8 refferences LEGO. After the X-mansion is destroyed in a Battle, Wolverine remarks 'Next time lets just build it out of LEGO'. Referencing the multiple times the School has been destroyed and Rebuilt.

I got loads of issues. X-men #1, giant size X-men #1, Hawkeye #1, Amazing Spider-man, AvX, among many others. Will take me a while to read them all. Also Batman and Robin #18 arrived in the post today so I'm looking forward to reading that.

This week so far I've read: Nightwing #18 All new X-men #9 Secret Avengers #1 Nova #1 AvengersArena #1 Guardians of the Galaxy #0.1 X-men Dangerous Superior Spider-man #6 And I'm just about to start Avengers forever.

Personally I prefer this. To me it wouldn't make sense for the Fully grown dinosaurs to start growing feathers. At the start of the film they can just say ' we discovered that the reason the dinosaurs at Jurassic park don't have feathers. It's because the frog DNA stops them from developing them. '

I think it will be in Europe as well. VIP is a worldwide rewards programme, where any card can redeem and earn points at any location. My guess is that when the Europe calendars where made they forgot to put Double points on.

Saw that a few minuites ago. Looks pretty cool, the helmet looks great. I don't know much about Hank Pymm or Scott Lang, the only time I've read about either was in Ultimates 1 and Marvel Zombies. Still looks cool for test footage.

Mark Millar said on Twitter today that he met with Simger today to discuss DOFP. He say there's a big announcement coming in the next week or so. Also the Trailer for Wolverine is going to be released in the next week.

Us in the UK get to see it April 25th. I'm still suprised how early we got these IM sets. -
Hmm I haven't heard anything about this director before this news. So I'm not sure wether its good or bad. Anyway I still think this movie will be great, especially with all the advancements in CGI and 3D.

I'm guessing next week. I was at the MK LEGO store yesterday and they had all the Iron man 3 sets. I picked up the Mansion and Sea port battle. -
If I was to rank the MCU films it would be: 1. Avengers 2. Iron man 3. Thor 4. Iron man 2 5. Captain America 6. The Incredfible Hulk I like them all and have no major problems with any of them, but that's the order I'd pick. I thought that Thor was really good. It was less about the love story for me, and that became a side plot. It was more of someone accepting responsibility, and how their actions affect others. At the beginning Thor is very arrogant and cocky prince, who loses everything. Only when he loses everything does he truly accept the Resposibility of how to lead, and the self sacrifice needed ( leaving Earth with the knowledge he may not be able to return). What makes it even better is how they adapted the source material. Asguard is a lot different in the comics, but how they portrayed it in the films makes it seem believable. Captain America was ok but I felt it was always going to struggle. From the start we know where cap needs to end up ( Frozen in present day). This stopped me from suspending my Disbelief's. instantly we know Caps in no danger and that he live on. While we know that the other films won't kill Iron man or Thor, I still felt that they were in danger during there films. Just like DKR Captain America has us go through the origin, him fight a nazi, then have him dressed as Captain America, only for him to not be Cap for another 25 mins. Hulk was ok but It wasn't as good as the rest and the Whole Hulk being hunted got stale fast. However I still enjoyed it. I do see your point about the Robins but, the Arguement could be made for many DC characters. All the Robins look like Batman, Batman looks like Superman and it really depends on the Artist. I've seen variations of characters that look completely different than how I usually imagine them. On a side note I went to a small art gallery today while LEGO shopping. They had a big Marvel section of all classic comic covers printed on Canvas. Each one was personally signed by Stan Lee. I would have bought one could I have Afforded it. Alas instead I got a couple of Iron man 3 sets.
