Sorry for the Double post. Just got an Email back from LEGO regarding the VIP points. It seems that due to the Easter holidays that the System is behind. However they said that the points should appear in accounts over the next few working days.

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced
Sam892 replied to MattZitron's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
The voices don't bother me too much, its just the Dialog that's crap. Batman didn't have terrible dialog so hopefully this is just a early working or something. Spider-man, Hulk and Nick Fury were really good I thought. -
That's a tough one. MegaBloks owns all Amazing Spider-man construction sets, so I think that a deal between the two companies would have to be made. However I read somewhere that all the Amazing Spider-man merchandise is being handed to Disney, as Sony can't afford to hold it. So LEGO could get the Whole ASM licence, but it depends on how long it will be Licenced to MegaBloks and whether LEGO want it.

Lego Marvel Superheroes Game Announced

I'm sure that both those actors would cost way too much money. That's one of the reasons why most movie-game tie ins don't use the original actors voice. -
Ok thanks was just a bit worrying haha.

I ordered Arkham on April 1st and the points haven't been added to my account yet. Is this happening with anyone else? I only ordered it for the points, I know it says wait 24 hours but its now been 48.

Welcome to Ameribricks.com - Major Changes Coming!
Sam892 replied to Shadows's topic in Forum Information and Help
Was this ever funny? As far as I can see this thread has just been an opportunity for people to spout out American stereotypes, or America is better than ever where else crap. Now that its slowly spilling to other topics its gone to far. It's also become a great place to insult other members point of views. I personally would have thought that once this started happening that this joke would have ended. -

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Good God in heaven I hope so. Especially if it had more suits from the previous films and from the new film. -
While the end of production of this set has nothing to do with the protests back in January, it annoys me that they are claiming victory. Just like the Page 3 protest groups that 'claimed' victory because the Sun/LEGO contract wasn't renewed. Seems to me that some people just like to pretend they made an Impact on the world.Being part Welsh (1/4) I remember being offended at a teacher who insinuated something about Welsh people. when I said that it was offensive I was told 'get over it', I learned a valuable lesson that day. Some people will be offended and some won't, and in the end ignoring something is much more rewarding than giving someone a reaction. While that doesn't work in all cases its a nice thought.

Fake. One picture has the Thor figure art at the top while the other, ( from another angle ) doesn't. -
The quality of LEGO has already decreased enough over the last few years. If it got worse I think I would stop purchasing LEGO altogether. The price of LEGO isn't bad when you really think about it, with all the costs it works out mostly at between 10-16 cents a piece. Which isn't bad considering, transport, cost of oil, cost of development, possible licence costs and m Room for profit.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

I highly doubt the bag has been changed as it was available in Singapore ( I think ) in January. With the Video game I expect the character will be either a redesign of one of the six main heroes, or a villian from the game. -

If its like last years promo you don't have to buy jut SH to get it. When I got the Hulk fig I got The Knightbus, POTC mill and a small AC set. Last year it was £25 as well. Hoping it stays the same so I can get some TMNT sets and get it. -
Yay I don't like the figure which is great! Means I don't have to spend more money in order to get him. A bit disappointed its not Episode II based as it would have made sense to have done something around it.

No you would just print it on the back of the torso. As a tail would restrict the figures ability to sit down. -

Most the X characters don't require new Molds: Rouge Gambit Beast Cyclops Nightcrawler Storm Kitty Pyrde Colossus None of these require anything new. The main points to me that make X-man more likely are: 1) the S@H set is alway slightly niche and aimed at a older age group. While sure a Iron man set appeals to everyone, why would LEGO make a Set that everyone wants and limit it to their stores. LEGO stores are rare outside the UK and US, and lots of parents won't pay £130 + shipping on the last Iron man set to complete a series. The S@H sets are always based around an area which has multiple appearances and, can be used in Multiple scenarios. The end finale from any film goes against this, an Oscorp tower does aswell ( since we've only seen it once in USM ). The X-mansion however can have lots of scenarios that can play out, just like Arkham, The Death Star, ect. Plus with the Wave Of IM sets we just had their isn't many Characters left that need Figures. Apart from Happy, Maya and a load suits. Where as an X set would be all or mostly Exclusive figures. Everything fits Exclusive figures, lots of possible building techniques, the mansion would translate well to UCS, franchise getting lots of attention, new films, books and maybe cartoon and it fits the older age group while still appealing to everyone. -

True but the target audience for the S@H Exculsives are usually aged 14+ or 16+, so it wouldn't matter ( although it would not be based on anything from the comics). DOFP is constantly being talked about on Film shows, movie news websites and everywhere. Even talkshows here have been talking to the actors about. -

Actually the X-men are really popular at the moment. In January X-men titles held 3 spots in the top 20 selling comic books of the month. In Febuary that changed to Two in the top ten. The X-men also have the largest amount of titles in the Marvel now relaunch, with a total of Ten books ( Avengers have 8 ). On top of that LEGO also have a Wolverine set out on shelves when the Wolverine Film comes out ( Choppershowdown, even though unrelated). Next year Day of Future past comes out which is getting a lot of media attention at the moment. Lastly MTV reported ( along with many other sites) that a new Uncanny X-men cartoon is in production at the moment. Sure Iron man is popular but a lot of his sales will be pushed by the film. By the time December comes the whole Iron man hype will have faded and that hype will be towards the next Marvel film. A large Iron man set may also require new Molds ( many of the new suits change the traditional faceplate shape, Igor, Shotgun ect), which Lego don't do for S@H exclusives. Same with Spider-man lots of his new villains require new Molds ( Lizard, Rhino, Scorpion ect) and even his friends ( White Tiger). Plus the Ultimate Spider-man Frachise is more aimed at kids ( not moaning as I love the show and sets.) which S@h sets are not, being aimed more at 16+. An X-mansion would be similar to Arkham in the fact that they both: Large Buildings that can use modular technigues. Both have lots of Exculsive Figures with out new Molds ( Beast, Nightcrawler ect). Plus both Appeal to more of an AFOl auidence and appeal to Kids at the same time. -

Actually it was in May too, that's when I got mine as it was £25 or more at LEGO. Maybe they had extra ones left over that they sent out in October. -
I mainly collect Marvel and a couple of DC titles. I would recommend Batman from the new 52, while picking it up in singles will be difficult its available in trades. I would also recommend Batgirl and Nightwing if you like Batman as both these titles tie nicely in with the Batman stories. From Marvel there's a few really good titles. All New X-men, Wolverine and the X-men, Daredevil and Superior Spider-man.

The problem I have with Wolverine and all the other possible Solo X-men films is, they don't usually work well individually. I once heard someone say the X-men are a cake and Wolverine is the Frosting on top. Problem to much Frosting makes you sick. It was different in the Avengers as we got see everyone solo first, then become even better. The other problem is the whole after X-men 3 thing. With this film regarding it as canon and Days of Future Past rumoured to remove it from canon, does that mean this film will have to be ignored aswell?
