Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Sam892 replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Even general though its not too bad. The only exclusive figures ( not including Comic con or toy fair exclusives. As those are exclusive to an event and not a country) are in DVD's. As far as I know their are only 3 of those as well Vader with medal, Clark Kent and Blue Bilbo. Out of all of those only the Clark Kent interests me. The rest are really just variants that either don't appear in any of the films ( medal with Vader ), or have the possibility of appearing in sets guy hot down the line ( Bilbo in blue appears in Hobbit part 2, according to set pics). Plus with Clark Kent the film isn't even available in the UK at the moment, so its possible that he could appear in a few months. -

See I told you guys that the Spidey keychain wasn't the real Exculsive. -

I think you two are over reacting. We know very little about this pre-order. All we know is that wallmart broke the news. I see no reason why LEGO wouldn't release this figure in the EU just like they did with Lex and Elrond. Both of those bonuses were available in HMV, Tesco's, Game and many other UK stores. In fact I still see them in stores in the special cardboard box. Until we know more I have no reason to believe that Iron Patriot won't be available worldwide. Thinking about the Exculsive figure in the LEGO games, I can see a patern with the figure selected. So far all the Figures are variants of existing Minifigures. POTC Jack Sparrow- Voodoo Jack Sparrow doll Lex Luthor- power suit Lex Luthor Elrond-Elrond second age. Rhodey Warmachine- Iron Patriot Rhodey Admitted Elrond is different as the Exculsive figure came before the set version, however it seems that LEGO prefer variants than new Characters. -

I'm not suprised they chose Patriot considering he wasn't in any of the sets. I'm also not suprised that the keyring isn't the only Exculsive. He looks pretty cool and I love that he comes with an assemble rack. I can't wait for the x-men set/s, maybe they are to collide with the game? -

Personally I really hope the X-men stuff is true. Not just because there's a lack of X stuff, but also because we usually get all the sets in the first 5 months of the year. Admittedly last year Spidey had a set in August, but all the other sets came out before May. It's hard to stay completely SH focused when there's is very little happening for 7 months of the year. -

I think that might be an Exculsive extra for pre ordering at GameStop . I can't remember finding out about a pre order fig this early. I think that theirs another preorder bonus and that the keyring is an extra indenture to purchase at GameStop. -

I think that the White outline is meant to be a glow surrounding the character. Perhaps its a hologram version of him, like in the old films in the Fortress of Solitude. The gap between the legs is most likely normal, but due to the crease on packet it looks strange. The whole face used before as well seems wrong. As far as I can tell its not been used before. However it reminds me of Qui Gon Jinn, Obi Wan and the SW Rebel trooper from Battle of Endor. -

No one knows, at the moment we know nothing about the film. Last year everyone was moaning that the hulk fig has tan pants. Then we saw the film and it was pretty accurate. Maybe in Man of steel Jor-el wears a cape at some point. -
I own Arkham and love it. Like you I wasn't going to get it but I'm glad I did. It showed some cool techniques I can use for MOCs, and the figs are great. Plus the windows are awesome.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Can everyone just Private message each other if they want to talk about the film? It's really disappointing to see a load of comments, that when you open the thread are just spoiler tags. Back on topic the Black Zero escape is slowly growing on me. However the Battle of Smallville is still the best by far. -

Well its only Two days until the film comes out here in the UK, so I guess we will find out if there is any inaccuracies in the sets like last year. So far the sets this year have really been a mix of good and Bad. Hopefully next years will be a lot better. -
I think the problem with including free roam in the Batmobile and Batplane comes down to two things. First of all the Map would need to be huge, and at the moment few games can have a large free roam world and good graphics. Second I fear the game will become two much like Grand theft auto. LEGO batman two had that problem for me. Running people over and damaging across the city doesn't really belong in a batman game, and it would take me personally away from the allusion of being the good guy. While many would say just don't run people over, that's not really easy to do. I recently played LEGO Batman and went out of my way to avoid pedestrians, but they just constantly step out in front of you. For me the Gliding works fine and while may be slow at times, is very unique to the game. Basically if it ain't broke don't fix it. All we really need is more Playable characters ( main story for robin ), some new gadgets and a few new mechanics ( like maybe being able to smash through windows to get to places) games like Halo, Cod, Assassins creed, grand theft auto and many more, seemed to have not changed much over the years but deep down they have but still maintain the same basics.

I'm pleased that Thor moves around a bit. Theirs too many Marvel Films were New York based. Plus I'm glad they picked London, maybe a Captain Britain cameo? It looked good but I'm still waiting for more before I'm totally hyped.

Personally, I think the smallest set ( Metropolis showdown ) should have been more like a battle pack. Instead of Zod included two Kryptonian soldiers, and maybe a battle damaged Superman suit. Just to have at least given a reason to get it. I will most likely pick up Smallville, but will certainly get the Black zero escape for the three main figs. -
This movie looks ok, not to keen on the whole 'no kryptonite' thing. It's like Wolverine with no claws.

I know what you mean. I think if any Iron man should be included it should have been the Mark VII. Just because the Cosmic cube would still have an Exculsive figure. Plus the Quinjet would still have an exculsive figure ( black widow ). The iron patriot looks cool, but it still doesn't mean we will get one. The Avengers poster had Fury on it, but we still don't have that version of him. -
As far as I know the Blackgate versions are for 3DS and PS vita. They have a story set after Arkham origins but still before Arkham Asylum.
-
Correct the Jokers name has never been revealed and neither has his true origin confirmed. All that's know is that he fell into a Vat of chemicals at Ace chemicals and that Batman was involved. Like The Joker says ' I prefer my origin to be multiple choice '.

Well I have already had enough of Iron man 3 spoiled for me. So I would appreciate it if everyone stopped posting potential spoilers and other important plot points. When I'm paying £7.50 to see the film I would like it to Suprise me as that's how I enjoy movies. -
To me that doesn't mean anything. Loads of other games switch developers, and a large number turn out fine. Halo being an example of that. I know its doubtful but hopefully Hamill will return as Joker. I know he said he wouldn't but, everyone has a price. Plus hopefully Twoface has more of a role than in City. I think that Origins is more to throw people of the scent of something else. I have a feeling that another Arkham game is in development for the Next gen and this is just to draw attention away. Reminds me of Halo anniversary and Halo 4. Halo anniversary was leaked and then announced while Halo 4 was being developed. Mainly to keep Halo 4 a secret. I think the same is being done here. Arkham Origins was leaked about a month ago then the announce it and, it will no doubt keep a lot of people's attention away from the next Sequel game. This could also be why its not being made by Rocksteady as their busy with the larger next gen Sequel, which will be a Secret until E3 next year

I think the problem is because of how fast Marvel are putting out films. The hype for each film only lasts a few months, which is most likely why LEGO have chosen small sets. -

This set arrived at my house on Friday and its incredible. So pleased I got it, was a bit unsure but its great. Also great review Clone O'Patra! -
My Morrisons has the new Clone Trooper battle pack for £4.07. Incredible price and great for army building.

Just checked mine came through about an hour ago. Plus my set arrived today so I'll have fun building Arkham later!
