  1. is it just me or do you have too many wheels?
  2. that must be my bus. what a waste of time and money for something so big it could not drive on its own: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=497628 also some of my first mocs are not so good either, they are made very few years back, so i have improved a bit http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=505517
  3. yay, i am not the only one to use zip-ties. nice uniMOC
  4. to the crank jack i would do something with a gear rack, and a ratchet, to stop it going up again.
  5. I got the z-link working and almost finished the superstructure. (only need to do the wiring and make the cab) but that is paused until my granddad is finished with an extension wire with swich, to turn off the recievers. I also started on a unimog 6x6, but i dont have the set to work from, only the cab, so i need to know how many studs, there are from the ground to the PTO?
  6. This might be interesting for trainfans: link to CUUSOO: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/33485 Description in link. This is not made by me, i just show it to you.
  7. i think you missed my crane: i have updated the superstructure since, but i dont have a pic. click
  8. that should be easy, just make two of them, and gear down the steering of the rear one.
  9. this is the smallest axle i can come up with. i use this on my haulotte multijob.
  10. my bus is still in one piece, so i have a challenge for your scrap shear:
  11. I will try that later, but i dont have the time today. (my brothers birthday)
  12. this is coming along nicely, and no worm screws cut in half. almost all functions work as they should, now i just need to sqeese in one battery, 4 recievers, and to servos in the superstructure. only one function so far is giving me problems: the Z-link for the front bucket, i cant get enoug movement on the shovel. here is the two extremes: full tip not even close enough: full tip backwards is enough for me: help please to get it to tip more. the reciever problem maybe solved tommorow, my granddad can maybe modify a switch.
  13. idea to LEGO: 1L worm screw, i am so close to cut one in half right now, i cant find the room in my MOC.
  14. i dont want to change between functions, i want to change between recievers, so i need something that can urn off a reciever without turning off the battery. edit: i have been looking on Philos site (here) the switch let the 0V and 9V pass through, and can turn off C1 and C2, so if it is possible to modify a switch to turn off 9V that would be great, but i have taken apart a switch, and it is a printplate that cant be modified.
  15. i want something that can turn off group 2, and then you turn on group 3, but the switches cant turn off a reciever. i have also tried to do it with the old swiches, but they cant do it either...
  16. i have now disassmbled the volvo lm loader and started on the multijob. i need 12 functions all in all, so i think i will make 3 groups of recievers, with to recivers in each, like this: group 1 (channel 1 and 2) drive all whell steer compressor superstructure slew group 2 (channel 3 and 4) telescopic boom up/down boom in/out bucket up/down rear outriggers up/down group 3 (channel 3 and 4) digging boom up/down turn boom bucket tip dipper in/out so i have left out the joint in the middle of the boom (useless feature ) but, how do i swhich between group 2 and 3? i have tryed wit some swhices, but i cant make it work.
  17. i can count 6 in the superstructure, and 6 in the undercarridge. (unless i want crab steering, then it is seven)
  18. i know, it is a hell of a lot functions, maybe somting like 6 in the bottom, and 4 or 6 in the top, but it should be possible.
  19. No, there is not enouch room in this since the body is quite narrow. btw. anyone got ideas for my next MOC? i thought about this:
  20. The two volvos are finished: The truck is built, so the functions you control from the cab are on the remote. so when the bed is going to tip, the gearbox (2 gears) must go in neutral, and the PTO, with a pump must be turned on. so the two xl motors drive the wheels and the pump, which supply the bed and the crane. to see all functions chech the video: the loader is also fully remote and contains 3 servos, a buggymotor, and an xl motor. the buggy motor supplies airpressure and it turns off, when the pressure is high enough. it is quite hard to control because of the fast movements of the boom . more pictures here. and a merry cristmas to all of you.
  21. i did not drive them, but we have at least two buses offroad today, mabe lowering the speed at corners help? or look at this guy a couple of times:
  22. i wanted to make a actionvideo with my iveco in the snow . it was great weather and 5 cm of snow, but i did not have the time until next day and then we got 20 cm extra, so i have to wait until we have a bit less snow but the forecast says no +degrees and more snow next weekend so maybe after christmas when the snow is gone. well, it looks funny with buses all over the fields, when they miss the roads
