  1. I think the chassis angle is what really stands out for me, as well as the incredible detail, especially on those engines! Great MOC!
  2. Maybe the character will be from this cartoon.
  3. Yeah! This looks like a lot of fun, great job, "SollX"!
  4. "Simon's Lego Vatican is going on display at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, where Pope Francis is scheduled to take part in the World Meeting of Families on Sept. 26 and Sept. 27. It coincides with the museum's new Vatican Splendorsexhibit, which showcases significant objects from the Catholic Church's history. " I would very much like to see this exhibit, my family would be interested to see the other Vatican Splendors too.
  5. Wow, I really like this little jet for some reason. It's really cool, man! The missiles are just perfect.
  6. I love the style of these old racers. The bullet body style is not so easy to do with LEGO, so I congratulate you on this MOC. The tutorial for deeplinking images is found in the "Help!" thread on the first forum page.
  7. Now, without the guitar, he looks like Bo Huff, a bit. What car do you think that engine would have come from? It's a cool custom, whatever it is.
  8. A very good looking rod. I like the custom suspension to get the stance nice and low, that is some serious camber on the front! Like the minifigs, too. They're funny. The rockin rodder reminds me of Billy Gibbons.
  9. How about a zepplin escape set with that neat biplane and a huge airship?
  10. Some good visualization of what sci-fi corporate espionage looks like. It would seem that Incom spies have managed to steal the solar wing design from Sienar Fleet Systems. Pretty good looking combo if you ask me.
  11. What a great way to recycle those old pieces! It does not seem like it would be all that difficult to build either, which is good.
  12. Looks really good all lit up. Not that this isn't already great, but are you thinking about doing the floodlights up front, too?
  13. I might be OK with that. I am more of a minifig collector anyway. Most of the DC sets have just ended up being disassembled and parted out anyway.
  14. This is interesting and I have also noticed there was a black one while I was leafing through the Micro Machines, and the white one is on the poster in the same display in the store. Why did TLG make it grey? Will we ever see some in black or white?
  15. I think this is pretty good, and at this scale, those slopes are just perfect! I am glad you decided to build this ship, and I also think it's too bad TLG never made one.
  16. Isn't there another thread in which to discuss movie settings and plot points? I thought this was about LEGO.
  17. I really love the new Falcon. I am gald to have picked it up, and started to build it yesterday. I have the older one; 7965, but never opened it. That one might even be worth more than the new one now, but I still like the new one a lot better. I really wanted the transporter and the shuttle, but $150 spent on LEGO is enough for one day! Maybe I will place orders from S@H to get some points and free stuff. Anyway, I just thought I'd mention how nice the Falcon is.
  18. I like the LIncoln Futura and the Burton mobile the best. Like the tiny figs, too. Impressionist, but instantly recognizable, like you said! I do hope you can make a parts list and instructions for these, too. I would pay money for that!
  19. Wow, great MOC and some NPU on the build. Good proportions, too so it looks llike it could be a real person!
  20. I really hated the Clone Wars Malevolence. The blue is way too much. I dosn't look like that in the show. they used hundreds of pieces for the missle play feature on both sides of the ship. The ion cannons in the show did not fire any missiles, so the model should have just had the static weapon emplacements. That would have drastically cut down on pieces for an inaccurate play feature. I did like the tiny train feature. Too bad it could only go a couple centimeters rather than the whole length of the ship, like in the show. And lets not forget about those awful assfaced Clone Wars minifigs, the ugliest offenders having been included in this very set!
  21. I like all the detail in this MOC, especially inside the building. All the things to keep the troops busy when they're not out hunting rebels are also very well done. Lobster Day made me laugh!
  22. If you're meaning the modified tile, the LBG ones are crazy expensive! I would just get the LG ones, and paint them if I had to, but some would consider that a sacrilege.
  23. I don't care if Thanos is in a $200 set, I have to have him!
  24. I like all the terrific detail in this MOC, but now you've got me thinking; Do raptor cops take donut breaks?
  25. This micro build is brilliant! I especially like the droids, and all of them are instantly recognizable. You even have the grate and tracks on the floor for the entertainment pit! Very well done, sir.
