    Are there any unique minifigs in this year's advent calendar? Has there been a significant shift in personnel working on the Star Wars team at Lego? May 4th promo: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 = polybag minifig, whereas 2017 got the R2D2 mini build set. Advent Calendars: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 = unique Santa minifig, whereas 2017 just gets a standard BB-8 with a snowboard and Santa hat. Why change the formula?

    I don't believe there's ever been triple VIP points for USA/Canada. (Perhaps a couple of times on specific sets). IMO, if you want to maximize your dollar, wait until there is double VIP points and a free gift set. Over the past few years, I've made several purchases during the holiday season where Lego has offered the annual free holiday set and double VIP points at the same time. Last year I was selling the Snow-globe sets locally for $30-35 each. Much better than triple points. The next double VIP promo is scheduled to run 1-4 July.

    Indeed. The Rebel Combat Frigate is not selling well....even at 40% off. If it wasn't for the Ahsoka minifig, even less would be sold.
