Another Perma-Lucky item. Bad. Best party would be Docken, Atramor and Skrall, along with a dedicated healer, or a ton of consumables. Everyone else is dead weight, face it. While AoE is nice, it's not a neccesity by far, frankly it's overrated.
-
Guts shakes his head and leaves with the party as well. It's times like these he hated Eubric. Life in Strivvi had never been easy, far from it, but at least it made sense.

Yes. Also, little tip, when you are healing, you might as well use the Malfunctioning Staff, since the effect can only trigger when hitting. -

Results of Round Seven of the High-Seas-Pirate-Orc-Slaver-Battle. Boomingham vs. Buggerer - Shield Guardian Stance/Damage Atramor vs. Buggerer - Critical Poisoned Hit (WP: 5 x 2 + Level 22 = 32- 30 = 2 Damage dealt, + Fragile and Deadly Poisoned Effects) Atramor vs. Barnacle - Poison Lorenzo vs. Orc B - Hit (WP: 10 + Level 20 = 30 Damage, kill) Bob vs. Orc B Ship Rat A - Special Damage (No Damage or Effect) Skrall vs. Buggerer - Damage (Redirected to Barnacle 60-30 = 30 Damage) Nyx vs. Buggerer - Spell (WP: 14 + Level 22 = 36 Damage x 2 = 72 x 2 = 144 Damage Dealt - 30 = 114 Damage Dealt, 1 ether) Christian vs. Orc A - Shield Protective Stance (No Effect due to Guardian Stance) Ignacio vs. Orc C - Special Damage (No Damage or Effect) Jacob vs. Orc B - Shield Protective Stance (No Effect due to Guardian Stance) Mac vs. Ship Rat A - Shield Riposte/Special Damage (Level 15 + Level 24 = 39 Damage Dealt, kill) Ellaria vs. Orc E - Aim (WP: 10 = 10 Damage Dealt) Rufindel heals Atramor - No Healing Whales vs. Orc E - Critical Hit (WP: 5 x 2 + Level 15 = 25 Damage Dealt) Free hits: Blackpeg vs. Boomingham (No Damage, 19x2 = 38 Counterstrike Damage) Bosun vs. Atramor (No Damage, 22 Counterstrike Damage) Blister vs. Atramor (No Damage, 22 Counterstrike Damage) Orc D vs. Lorenzo (No Damage) Boomingham keeps his shield raised, nothing would get through. The two former paladins run to the front and both raise their cutlass, ready to block if anything got through regardless. Atramor is home on the ship's decks, and slashes at Buggerer, leaving him weakened, shortly after Nyx slings a dark spell at the same Orc, who desperately tried to attack Skrall, but failed because of Boomingham. Atramor jumps backwards and throws a fine, green powder at Barnacle, who clutches his eyes when the poison does it's work. The rat jumps at Bob, but is sliced in half in mid air by a grinning Mac. Rufindel recovers from healing so much in the last round, and does not quite heal Atramor, while Ellaria and Whales double team on one of the orcs, who almost hit Ignacio just before, knocking him around with staff and cutlass. Buggerer succumbs to the poison, and Blackpeg takes double poison damage, and Barnacle takes some poison damage. The party is still under Boomingham's protection, and they face less enemies now. The first part is not true. You said you were suspecting Eskallon, after he died I said you were wrong about him. Not that matters, since you were going to kill us. And stuff. The second part is right, I was just so excited, I think you played splendidly, and I at least, was not on to you. Whatever you think of the game mechanics and wether or not you got screwed over, you played a damn good game, and everyone should treat you with the most care in the world when playing with you. The way you manipulated people, the way you managed to dodge the bullet, it's really great play. Hell, you tricked me in giving up the protector! (Doubt you didn't know that already, but my point stands).
-
But... I play in the Heroica Roleplaying Game... I don't... suck... do I? DO I?! I've already said it, I was no fan of the "make an animal sound, REMEMBER to make an animal sound, make your character eat bugs. And REMEMBER that." I did not like the limited options with my character's quirk, and I'm terrible at remembering stuff, so when you ask me to do this on every post, I'm going to have a hard time. Why boo me? I'm getting mixed messages. I boo you! Or something. I don't even know what that entails, but I guess it must be slang for calling someone awesome. Because this game was, it had everything: Explosions, awesome music, animals killing each other, broken hearts, steamy romances...
-
Ah I was thinking it was about power. Yeah, + 10 flat damage I would say would be at the end of every calculation, so yeah, not AS powerful. And no, that's not complicated at all, no Permanent effect items, they are too OP. No more of those should be created, it's bad.
-
Oh. Well that's unneccesarily complicated.
-
Critical hit would be as you said, then the hit gets doubled for elemental let's say, and also doubled if you are encouraged. So it's up to 40 extra damage on a hit under the right conditions. And it DOES affect healing as well. There have been more things with flat power.
-
Well, it's still 10 flat damage on every hit, critical hit, and damaging shield attacks, BEFORE elemental advantage. It's still pretty major.
-
"Right. I was hoping for something better, honestly, something to actually make me wonder how you could possibly know it only to find the obvious answer in time of crisis. Oracle, while our talk was delightful, we are here because of your altar girl, does she have your permission to tell us about her problem?"
-
"Oracle, eh? They say you speak to the Gods, or listen to the Gods, or something like that. While I am not so blasphemous to believe that sort of thing for the truth, what would you say the Gods say about me, oh Oracle?"
-
May the force be with you is also a silly way of saying good luck.
-
Guts moved over to where Sarick was standing, and asked the Naga: "Scaly, I've seen you have a shard of Myhtril, would you care parting with it, perhaps?"
-
It's what I do.

I saw that, but you attacked Buggerer first from the front row, does that not make the free hit come to you on the front row? -

Christian gets bashed on the head with a mace, and Ignacio gets sliced and falls. Lorenzo hits his target, but Bob gets hit. Ellaria and Rufindel both finally get favour from their respective gods, and together they heal everyone to full health, and Ellaria causes two of the crew to get back on their feet too. You know today is talk like a pirate day? Just saying. Yarr.
-
I send you the one where you had to accuse objects of being scum. It was the only way I could torture you from the afterlife.
-
Yeah, I had two of those as well.
-
That reminds me, I'm flattered, I really am, but what's with the many actions targetted at me? Protected, tracked, blocked, investigated, guarded, redirected to, watched, blocked again, made to kill someone, vote stolen from, and then killed!
-
Well... cool ending. Not expected, but I have a thing for SK wins, so it's all good. I liked the game, had fun. The presentation was great, Fabuland animals slaughtering each other is always good fun. When I arrived in the dead writeboard and figured things out, I was really impressed by the scum and SK, good job guys, I think you can look back on some great play. I am not too happy about my own performance, the main reason because I apparantly insulted and bullied people, and that should never happen, so I am going to change that in future games, hopefully. I like the playerbase and everyone deserves love. I am a hippie, basically, just in a shell of a dick. If that makes any sense, it probably doesn't, but we can't have everything. The other reason is that we really should have lynched Danny when we lynched Cecilie, I later realized his moves were perfect and obvious for a scum, so while that is great play, and good job to you as well Danny there, I should have figured it out, I think. Also I told Shadows Eskallon was the protector, sorry guys. I'm not too sure about the forced roleplaying, while I enjoyed butchering 80s songs to put into context, there's only so much you can do and so many variations with "Your character eats bugs out of people's hair, deal with it." By the way, Hinckley, can we please get an explanation for each of the night puzzles? I still don't get how the colour things work, maybe I'm dumb, it's a sincere possibility, but I would still like to know.

"I'll be honest, demonspawn. I don't know what you are talking about half the time and I don't actually care all that much. What I will say is that I fight and do what I think is right, wether that's dark or light, It matters as much to me as the colour of Laureline Hinckwell's morning dress. As for being born into privilige, it's unavoidable, naturally. And yes, people will have a disadvantage, but it's up to them to get out of it. Look at me, I was born with nothing, not even parents were there to help me guide my path. I think I did pretty well for myself, At age twenty I owned a business, five years later I owned several. I could have gotten richer than the Houses of Eubric if I had kept on that road, but I did not."
