The Heroes watch it go under. Captain Lorenzo and the other crewmembers seemed to be tending to their wounds and inspecting the Armory for damages. The ship's sail was pretty cut up, and the railing was busted on several places and then there was the floor that was all messed up, partly due to Atramor. And that was just the obvious stuff. Something told the heroes that if they wanted to get themselves together, this was the time.

They may be vastly outnumbered, but they don't go down without a fight, Boomingham skewers one of them on his sword, while Atramor poisons and confuses another, who accidentally hits one of his allies, instead of his desired target, Skrall. Nyx finishes the battle off, she charges her Explosive staff with whirling, purple, darkness energy, and with all her force she bashes it on the head of her Orc, who is instantly out, the staff then releases a powerful explosion from the tip, that sends the remaining orc flying, into the water, he does not come up. THE BATTLE IS VICTORIOUS! Boomingham, Ellaria and Rufindel gain half a level. Atramor, Nyx and Skrall gain a third of a level. Ellaria levels up.   7. Too complicated what you are suggesting, and traits are supposed to be passive things. And don't think it's that game-breaking the way I suggested it, it's something to take into account, but remember it's only the same row.

Boomingham steps out from his protective stance and slices straight through his opponent's armour, killing him. Atramor again copies the Orc's beats, and everyone in the battle is blessed and will restore 3 health at the end of the next round. Atramor then thrusts his sword forward, instantly killing the Drummer. Skrall has to change targets, but it is no problem, and he fires a large bolt that pins his target to the floorboards, dead. Nyx, Ellaria and some of the crew take refuge behind Boomingham's shield. Mac and Jacob deal some damage to one of the Orcs, and Christian does as well. Rufindel prepares to bash an enemy with his shady staff, but the ornament on it begins to crackle, and Boomingham is just fast enough to put his shield in front of the orb and Rufindel's face, deflecting a bolt of blue energy that surely would have hurt otherwise. Endgame, how about something like this: Every hero fighting on the same row as the Juggernaut, is protected by the Juggernaut's SP as well, as long as it is not higher than their own SP (it does not stack). I don't like roll four, how about changing it to this: The Juggernaut braces him or herself, and the next three times the Juggernaut takes damage, that damage is halved.
  12. I like the idea, but I have some criticism, yes. Track Down: I don't see how it fits with the class, per se? Combat Evaluation is REALLY powerful. It's basically a free in-battle consumable. I would change it. The Shield is a good idea, but perhaps slightly unimpressive, how about counterstriking any enemy that would have done damage (to anyone that round)? I think that would make it a bit more interesting, perhaps? I don't like the miss roll, it's very unimpressive, a level 30 Juggernaut would only gain 10 Health, that is not very good, really... Perhaps something that increases his defense or offense for the next round would be better, just throwing ideas around. For the rest it's cool, I hope you keep working on it.

  14. And that's when I arrive at my first point, you should not reward people for things they did and finished in the past, if you are going to give out a reward, i.e. half the way to unlocking a class, don't do it retroactivily.

  16. Why? Do they have an enemy? Or is it only for "part of the class unlock", because if it's the second, why not just call it that, and put that in the reward from the start of the quest.
  17. Besides the Houses ones? No, you get them as rewards from Quests, that's how you, if you don't mess it up, prematurely die, make the wrong choices etc, will get the Infiltrator class. Maybe.

  19. But still, I think Expert classes should be rewards from quests, like: part of the reward from this quest is this class, or part access to the class. Not, this thing you did way back, yeah it arbitrarily counts towards getting this class now, good job! Besides, I think it's cooler to only have a select few have access to it, don't know about you, makes the reward (seem) better.

  21. 1) What previous experience have you had with mafia games? On EB I played in Witchbreed Mafia School, Imhotep, Yakuza Mafia, Jedi Temple Mafia, Excalibur (1.0 and 2.0) and The Forest II. Outside of EB I sometimes play a game called Werewolves in real life, which is basically Mafia. 2) Will you be able to actively engage with the game for the next 6 weeks or so? Yes. 3) In terms of your playing style, which Norse god do you identify with most? I think Thor, and not the sissy American version either, I like to hit my enemies hard, and play as much in the open as I can. Although I am going to change my tactics, so I'll guess we'll just have to see if I will be kindhearted like Freya or perhaps employ trickster tactics as Loki would. Don't count on it.

Nyx channels dark magic through her fish... thing, and with all her might she brings it down on the Orcish slaver. He falls, his face bleeding from under his turban. The remaining orcs see their leader fall, but keep fighting. Jacob, Ignacio and Whales succesfully defend themselves, and Christian, Captain Lorenzo, Bob and Mac deal some damage. Skrall hits Barnacle, denting his armour due to the sheer force of the blow, and Ellaria wards off one of the Orcs with her staff. Rufindel attempts to try out his questionable staff, but fails.
