  1. That's pretty awesome! But I hope they'll redo those Classic Spacemen. The logo is centered, but it has to be in the left corner above... I hope they'll redo that because the red one in Volume 1 was printed as it has to be. However, details, it's nice.
  2. I will make a big Bricklink order within a few days, so I could order the right grey pieces. It would indeed be nice to see the car going from good state to bad state.
  3. Thanks, and you're right, I know. My creations are settled in the beginning of the Apocalyptic era. And I was going to use trans-clear lights, but I didn't find those. I will adjust it in the near future. In the first stages of design the front had a fence, but I got rid of it because I didn't like it. I think the use of different shades of grey shows a bit it's apocalyptic (or it shows the lack of the right pieces in the right colours =P). But like said; in my story it all has just begun and at this moment my vehicles are placed in that time. I'll update him as the story continues, I'm also thinking of showing the story with pictures in LEGO. =)
  4. Happy birthday ImperialScouts! =D
  5. Thanks! And yes, I have a tank in mind of the Army that started the Apocalyptic era. And if that one also works out well, I'll try to make a little diorama with those two vehicles, lot's of greenery and a little community that is trying to get away from the Army. But that's for later, for now I will focus on some vehicles and perhaps a smaller MOC in the theme.
  6. It's funny, I have this always. Every time I have bought a new set, and I'm building it there is always one piece I can't find. Almost every single time. But it is there somewhere, so I just keep on searching. It's part of the fun, actually.
  7. Here's my interpretation of the word. =P
  8. Here is the page for the one in Munich: http://stores.lego.com/en-us/Munich/LandingPage.aspx So it's: Unit B-13 StadtQuartier Riem Arcarden in der Messestadt Willy-Brandt-Platz 5 München 81829 GermanySo, it's:
  9. Well, I'm currently writing on a story that's settled in an apocalyptic setting. I was tired of the fantasy theme and wanted to try something new. Offcourse, this led me to make some apocalyptic creations. This is, hopefully, the first of the row. It's just a simple truck, but have put some hours in it to make is as good as possible. In real life it's a nice thing, I think the picture don't justify the creation how it is really. Oh well. And I wanted to make the back with tan tiles with wooden print, but I don't have 4 studs wide tiles in tan, so it didn't work out how I wanted it. However, I would love to read some of your comments and offcourse tips and suggestions. Folder after moderation: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=367078
  10. Wow, you've got a great design there. I really love the colours, it works so perfect and the used techniques are awesome. It's really something new and innovative, I hope that it'll be able to work it out to a real MOC.
  11. Thanks for the review so far. I really like this set, however I'm not sure of those wheels on the tractor. Two wheels together seem way to big! I will take the second on each side away, than it will look more realistic. =)
  12. This is just a coincidence, I suggest you contact LEGO with your problem and I think you'll get new ones. ;)
  13. Wow, this is really amazing. Thanks for sharing the great pictures, and the information. I didn't know there's such an awesome diorama in Texel. It's very big, which scale is it?
  14. This is, again, a genious reproduction of the Star Wars series. Keep up the good work!
  15. WOW! I'm just amazed by the great figures and the amount of them. There are really great and useful minifigures in these sets: the new headpieces (Mola Ram's helmet, fez, the return of the ninja scarfs, new blond hairpiece and a blond 'Hermoine' hairpiece), new heads (like, every head on the pictures!), new torso's (costumes, ripped t-shirt, muscled with a knife, Marion's outfit, ...)... Great additions to my Harry Potter universum! These are really awesome sets, I would love to get my hands on each and one of them, I hope it'll work. Ah, it looks so, soo, fantastic.
  16. Ah, yes, with the beloved Krsten Bell. I saw a picture of Kirsten Bell last year in Leia's slave outfit for this movie and I got excited about the film. =D
  17. Today I bought three secondhanded Harry Potter sets, but they look like new, especially the nice figures (and it feels very new, if you now what I mean): 4705, 4712 and 4733. And yesterday, my 16th birthday, totally unexpected for me, we went out for dinner and the whole family was there. They bought a notebook for me. It's the only present I got but I'm so happy with it!
  18. Thanks!
  19. Matn

    Just eat it!

That's really hilarious, it's also very well built. I like it very much, nice!
  20. Very nice collection. I'm looking forward to your modifications!
  21. Sixteen, or you can let one of your olders to get a membership.
  22. Yesterday I bought the following sets for 80 EUR 8158: Speed Racer & Snake Oiler 8159: Racer X & Taejo Togokhan 8161: Grand Prix Race I'm glad I finally have them, I wouldn't have bought them for a lower price. I have to wait to build them though, but that's not so bad. I'm really happy I finally have the figures, but I will also try to get my hands on the figures of the 8160 because it's also packed with Racer X and the truck isn't so impressive...
  23. Looks ok for kids, but it looks also very unofficial.
  24. Thanks for the comments. Mania3, if you see one at a (relatively) low price, don't let it go! Yes, I think that cardboard background is also included in mine, but it's impossible to get it out and not tearing the box apart, everything is taped... But that isn't so bad, it's all about the set. And I didn't knew that of the 9V wires, thanks for the information.
  25. Hmm. I don't know it at this time. The alien looks awesome, reminds me of UFO and that theme was great. I don't like the figures however, they don't seem that space-ish. The back of the police flyer looks rather interesting. I hope the other sets will atract my attention in a good way, this however...
