Very nice, it's really creative and beatiful. I like what you've done with this fairy tale. I'm looking forward to your other replica's of tales. Oh, and I did a post on my website this morning about this beatiful creation.

I just bought a mini tripod. It isn't LEGO, but it will be used for it.

Thanks everyone. Indeed, it will look better. I'll try to do that later today. Thanks. Well, I'm not in for the prizes, actually. It's just fun to participate in contests. This was the first time I really thought of a good way to use those handtrucks, and with this I came up. They encourage you to be a little bit more creative, sometimes, those contests. My two other entries are almost done, I think they'll be online this afternoon or so.

Thanks. And Peppermint_M: why wouldn't you make one, I would love to see your robot.

I decided to participate in the Reasonably Clever Handtruck Building Contest. My first entry is the Handtruck Robot. Some handtrucks fell accidently into a big batch of toxic waist. Immediatly the five handtrucks melt together and they took a living form. The handtruck robot was born. It fights against the evil industrials who dump their toxic waist everywhere, and when it hasn't to fight against criminals, it just delivers some packages. Comments would be appreciated. I have two other entries in mind, I'll make them this weekend. =)

What a fantastic progress you've made. And those engraved canons are really special and awesome. Nice work; keep up the building! -
Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Matn replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
As written in SavaTheAggie's post: late March or early April. ;D I don't think it will have an engine, it's no where written. I think it's just a nice model to show off. =P- 559 replies

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)

What don't you like about the doors, Hinckley? I think they are pretty nice, brick-built can be nice. The normal doors were too big, I guess. And indeed, I hope TLG does the same like with the My Own Train theme, making new sets with apart train cars and other things.- 559 replies

90 euro?! That's a great price, normally it's the same number as the dollar price. And thanks for the extra pictures. I'm glad with this one. =)- 559 replies

I think there will be some violence, some... I think much violence in the movie. If so, I would find it ridicilous to bring out this theme and not continiouing the Harry Potter line, becoming darker, what a lame excuse. But, oh well. I hope the sets will be good. =)

I also play the guitar. Well, I try to play it. I bought one in de summer vacation of 2007, and I started learning enthiusasticly. And now a year later it's been a month ago I touched my Squier Stratocaster. I told myself to play again this Saturday, then I'll have week off: vacation. I would love to play a bit of everything, just not the hard metal stuff. Any tips for a beginning player?

Really awesome to hear. I didn't even know a film was comming from Prince of Persia. I think those sets will be great, I think they'll look a lot like the Indiana Jones theme. It will bring great figures and nice eastern temples and the like. I'm looking forward to this. Toy Story was one of my favorite movies when I was little. I hope they put a good effort in making these sets and the figures that belong with it. I'm not sure how they will produce the figures, with all the diversity in toys in the movie. Also looking forward to this, if it is something nice made, I can' wait.

I had the same "problem" for the new design of my website. I wanted to use banners instead of links, so I made my own Eurobricks banner.

Free Power Miners raffle, - the entries

Congratulations to the three winners! Have fun with it. -
That's a great replica of the real thing. It looks very good like the original model, even the little details. You've done a great job here, .

I think it's the best you go for the new Construction Site. It's a great set, I think to buy it also when the time is right. It has some nice vehicles, you even get a "shop" and the set has a Classic feeling, look at the smaller crane. The train isn't that impressive. If you really want a train I think you should wait untill the newer ones arrive, with Power Functions.

Oh, well. I think we don't must forget that LEGO is and always will be a toy. When I was little and playing with LEGO and other toys I didn't think if something was racistical or not. Actually, just like Captain green hair said.

Snape's Class belongs to the Harry Potter theme. And it doesn't include him! Wow. It was released back in 2001. I got it a couple of weeks ago together with some other Harry Potter sets in new condition. Do I like it? Yes! Snape's Class is situated in the undergrounds of Hogwarts. It contains about 163 parts including three figures. The set costs about 20 dollar, I got one for 15 euro, in new condition. Snape teaches the magical gifted children how to make special potions and such things. In the series of LEGO Harry Potter Snape has a glow in the dark head, which is nice, but not so compitable with other heads. The newer Snape head is nicer, but this one is also acceptable. His torso and legs have a nice, purple print. The set also includes Ronald Weasly and Peeves. Peeves you say? He's a ghost who likes to make you jokes and tricks with you. I like the fact that he is included in this set. Peeves has a great print on his head (useful for zombies) and also a nice torso. Let's move on to the set itself. The building is pretty nice, following the standard procedure to go with other Harry Potter buildings (if you stack them, you can make one big Hogwarts). The building has two parts: the classroom and the part where a black cauldron is warming up a potion The classroom has a little table that can be opened up to find a spare key and a frog. Some bottles are spreaded around. There's also a door with a <insert that tiresome argument> wall, but the wall isn't that bad. There's also a brown panel with printed shelves and potions. You can put the panel down to find Peeves hiding himself. Ron's pet rat has also joined the room. In the second part you can shove a piece away so the cauldron falls of and a magical text comes to display. The special parts of this set are: the unique minifigure of Peeves, the yellow ladle, the cauldron and the red potionbook. I like this set (then again, I like every Harry Potter set), it has nice and unique parts, and very useful parts. Like in most Harry Potter sets the minifigures and the nicest part of the set, although for me they are. 4705 Snape's Class has also cool accesoires. I recommend this set to every LEGO Harry Potter fan, if you're a Castle fan you'd like it also.

Thanks. And yes, I miss them too. Every time I get a "new" Harry Potter set it takes my back seven years when I was little. And then I get that nostalgic feeling, going in the toystore and seeing all those HP sets together. Oh well... The next review will be up in a few minutes. =)

This set was released in 2002, in the second wave of Harry Potter sets. The scene appeared in the first Harry Potter book/film: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Hermoine rushed to the toilet, but a troll was on the loose. And offcourse, the gang of three ran into him. So far my little introduction. As said, this set is located in the first movie. Hermoine ran off to the toilets and stumbled upon a troll. Ron and Harry got to her and together they defeated the beast. This little set doesn't include Ron or Hermoine, but the troll and, another, Harry Potter figure. It counts 71 parts and costed about 10 euro. I bought it for 8 euro, but it was in new condition. As said, the set only contains two minifigures. That's a little pathetic, if you know the movie scene had four characters. Again a Harry Potter, man, I have way to many of them. However, we do get a troll figure. And that one is just awesome! It's the only set this troll comes in. The troll is just great. He has a sand blue color and a "bloody" head which is useful for zombies and such. A shame the other arm doesn't move and nothing fits in it. You may notice this isn't the right club which is normally brick built. When I got this set I immediatly changed it with the newer Castle one. I guess the building is ok. It isn't that impressive or special. It includes a sink, a door, some walls and an arch on top of it. The door can open for extra playability! =P Here is the rather nice sink. I like it. It even "breaks" like the sinks in the movie. Oh, and there is a strange thing just beneath the arch. A little crate with brown bricks in it. You can let them fall. WOW! Another highlight in this set is the orange pumpkin head. It only appears in two sets: this one and the Scary Laboratory (1382). That was it. The 4712 Troll on the loose set isn't that bad. It's fine. The special pieces (sink, troll, pumpkin head) compensate the not that impressive building. Offcourse this set is usefull for its parts, just like any other Harry Potter set. It's a nice addition to your Harry Potter collection, if you collect them. If you see it for a low price, and it includes the troll, don't let it get away! I hope you enjoyed this Harry Potter review.

Harry Potter is my favorite theme, followed by Town and City, and as third one Castle. Harry Potter is just great, I love the books, like the movies and the LEGO was good. It's a shame they stopped it too early. ='(

LEGO Licensed Themes MOC and Review Index Discussion Thread
Matn replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'll do my best to make some reviews of the few Harry Potter sets I have here that are still in built condition. =P How come the other themes have pictures with the setnames, but Harry Potter doesn't? -
I already got an answer. He says the store is super! He has ordered al his new sets there the last three years. The communication is fine and the shipment is fast. If there isn't a set on supply they'll let you know and if it takes to long you will get your money back. That's the information I got, so I think we now know enough to see the store as "safe".

I see it is located in the Netherlands. Hmm. Maybe you can try ordering something small? The prices are very low, in my opinion, so maybe I'll try to order something (but not at this moment)... They even have a ".be"-link, http://www.superspeelgoed.be ,this I don't understand. It's another layout, but they have the same name and items. I see someone on Lowlug has ordered something from there (just a notice from where he got it), if you want I can ask it there?

What a fancy cars. A Chrysler to start driving with? Suicide doors... ? If I'm 17 I have this in mind: And then later a newer model. But that would be a great starter, I think.
