It was a mistake made by me, the set did came with a silver ball, not with a bley cilinder. Sorry to confuse you.

Fantastic work, as we're used from you. This is a great stagecoach with vibrant colors and what a great style you've accomplished to make. And the bison is also cool!

Happy Birthday and I hope you've had a great day!

I like these kind of pictures, random LEGO is fun! It's always nice to read a story of someone who recently got very interested (again) in LEGO. That Octan truck with trailer and speedboat MOC is really good, you should give it an topic for itself with good pictures on a clear background. And that pink hotel looks also good, keep up the good work!

That's a great creation, as usual Capt. Kirk! I love the various details, it works very good. And although it's something really new, the classic feeling is spread all over it. It's an awesome addition to the Neo Classic Space line-up, keep up the good work!

This is again a nice episode in the Time Crash story. I do think the images may be a little bit bigger, but there shouldn't be any more. And I also think Olaf is not necessary. Maybe Thurbaldr can become friends with Sergei, and maybe they understand each other so Thurbaldr has a tolk. Or isn't that possible? But as said, nice episode and I've voted.

Okay, thanks for the answer, it's pretty normal.

That's a great new theme for the LEGO Trains & Town forum. It's very refreshing, I like it!
-
Well, I mean, not printing it out. But just add it on the photo with the computer. So the decal isn't there in real life. I fully understand this would be against the rules.
-
Is it possible that we may use the computer to make decals? Like, the Chocomel logo, but editted with the computer. My current printer is unusable and I'm not a decal guy. But with the computer is seems possible, but may I? Thanks.

That's a great contest Whitefang! Thanks for hosting something like this. It's definitely a challenge to build a street scene without the look LEGO has brought up the last few years. I'm looking forward to seeing all the entries. I will make something, so now it's time to go back thirty years in my mind. Oh, wait. I wasn't even born then.

Do you keep your Lego Boxes?
Matn replied to RememberTheLittleGuy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It's just the same here. When I was younger, my boxes were always thrown away, and most of the times together with the manuals. I think, because the manuals are no where to be found. I keep the boxes under my bed, I put the smallest ones in the bigger ones and then the bigger ones in the large ones. It works fine, but I'm runnig out of space under my bed! -
That's really impressive, great work!

Johnny Thunder is in search of the golden items, which he needs to collect in the Orient Expedition theme. His destination in the jungle is India. But first he has to find some diamonds, because... diamonds are fun? And how can he find them? In a steamboat on the river in the jungle, of course. As said, this set takes place in India, in the Adventurers Orient Expedition theme. In 2003 it had a price of about 7,99 EUR. 7410 Jungle River has 60 pieces with 1 minifigure, but also a few animals. Here's a boxshot, and the back of it containing some alternative builds: You get a red snake and an alligator, but also Johnny Thunder with a great outfit. Notice that in the picture beneath he doesn't have the right head, I only just noticed that actually. The Orient Expedition theme has Johnny Thunder with a new design on his face. The steamboat is pretty nice. It's made out of a grey boat hull, and I like it pretty much. It looks very "steamy". Also on the boat is a brown box containing dynamites (printed on plates) and some tools: a gun, a shovel and a pick axe. I like its design, the brown windows are nice touch. And the gems or diamonds are hidden in this little statue. But Johnny Thunders has to defeat the alligator and snake first! The headpiece is great! That's another reason for buying this set, it includes a special part that the Adventurers theme introduced. This is a great addition to any Adventurers collection. The Orient Expedition theme was an outstanding one, including this little neat set. It has nice parts, especially the figure, the boat and the headpiece of the statue. Get it if you can!

Ever wondered what's in that old tomb that lies on the snowy mountain? We all wanted to know it, but it was Lord Sam Sinister that stumbled upon its terrifying secret. Getting curious? Set 7409 Secret of the Tomb was released in 2003 under the Orient Expedition theme, which is actually a Adventurers subtheme. Orient Expedition takes place in different Asian countries: India, China and, probably, the mountains between them. This little set is situated in those mountains. It has 32 parts, including 2 figures. You could buy it for about 2,99 EUR. The box, and the back with two alternative builds: You get some great figures in this little set: Lord Sam Sinister (Johnny Thunder's nemesis), he has a fantastic torso design, with gun and an evil skeletton with two gems, a trans yellow and trans light blue one. I hadn't that light blue one and I like it. Here is the tomb: Euh... Yes, that doesn't look scary, does it? But wait, what happens if Lord Sam Sinister pulls down the front? WOAH! ...euh. Wait? That doesn't look quite good. Well, if you have to pull it down fast, so the skeletton's head doesn't get stuck in the roof of the tomb. I like this set, it's small with some nice parts and especially really usefull figures. The gems are also welcomed. The pop-up system doesn't work so good, but it's okay I guess. Maybe they should have add an animal, like a trans blue spider. But it's a nice set, especially for the Adventurers fans like me!

That's a great army, purple tornado! To get your images in a post you have to typ: [img*]http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/rsca/wolfpack/dsc00673.jpg[/img*]; but without the * of course. How do you get the specific image link? By right clicking on the image of your Brickshelf link, like the ones you just have posted and then choose "Koppeling kopiëren" or "afbeeldingslocatie kopiëren". Hope it'll work now! ;) Oh, and for preventing dubble posts, use the "EDIT" button.

Jup, I've also noticed they are photoshopped on other images, but they look very good.

Flickr member Legohaulic has created a fantastic Western town. There is a saloon, a sheriff's office, a stable, a bank and a general store. He even included the people who live there. It's great. The self-made stickers really add something to it, and there are some nice details added in every building. It looks like an evolution of the real LEGO Western sets, doesn't it? I really like this LEGO Western town, it's so good. On of the best Western creations I've seen.

Thanks Batbrick. I'm not so fond of the roof either, my grey tiles were used up and also my grey plates that were usable where already used in it. I'm glad you like it. =)

Nice MOC, keep on building. I like those bones as waves. And with such a good camera it should be fairly easy to make good pictures. Just pic "Auto" and then select the flower symbol. To focus on an object, press down the button, but don't let it yet take picture, just focus. And then take one. =)

Thanks guys! I think I'll maybe start a story with the hero in it.

"The local supermarket was just about to close when a few men came in. A guy with a gun, followed by a man who's leg was severly hurt, there was blood everywhere. They were followed by a couple of things, you couldn't call them human, they looked rather dead. The janitor handled quick, he closed all the doors. Suddenly the cashier began to scream when she saw the zombies, and another women hide away, leaving her own kid behind. The zombies tried to get in, but luckely I came by with a gun in my hand. I just knew this was going to happen some time." For the Big Toy Hut LEGO Zombie Contest. More pictures here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=376524
