The Horse and His Boy is likely my favorite Narnian book. Great work capturing various scenes! The horses in the water, and interior scene are especially cool

It's great to see this EB tradition continuing! I always have a snowball fight with my brother after one of the first snows: -

The landscape for this scene was built as a commission, and then I finished the build by adding some houses, the fences, and figure activity. After learning that medieval roads often had fences or walls to allow animals to be moved effectively, I wanted to include that detail here. Brother Steven inspired the woodwork on the water mill. This is an entry into the large miscellaneous category of the Colossal Castle Contest. Market day makes for a lot of traffic on the village road as animals are taken to be sold, or purchased and brought home. The watermill is also a popular location as villagers purchase flour and bring grain to be ground. As usual, there are more pictures on brickbuilt. Your feedback is always welcome

Amazing bust! As always it's quite inspiring The combination of excellent sculpting and potability is excellent

And LV is back! Nice little gateway there, and it's good to see Nocturnus gaining more activity

Really great addition to Thorshaven, which is great to see again The mainly timber look helps set it apart from the original Thorshaven modules, though the similar layout ties it in well. My favorite detail is the angled section of harbor wall

soccerkid6 replied to MassEditor's topic in Guilds of Historica
Tremendous interior! The headlight bricks, and turntables for wall decoration work perfectly here Great work suspending the chandelier as well, the four chain set up is something I'll have to remember. The carpet and floor mosaics finish it off nicely- 14 replies

Thanks Kai! Which in particular don't you like? Thanks, another vine or two would probably have looked good Thanks Titus! Thanks Tyndale Thanks Slegengr, I'm glad you like the water. And I agree that more vines rather than none would look better here. Thanks Legofin, I'm glad you like the staircase in the tower as that was one of the main components I knew I wanted right from the beginning.

Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
I remember the second one of those, but can't recall seeing the first. Always neat seeing how builders progressed. Here's one of my oldest/worst MOCs: And since I happened to run across one of John's ancient builds (and no this isn't his first or worst ) -

This was a commissioned model based off of Leanan Manor. This version is a bit larger and features a full interior that can be reached via lift off floors or the hinging function. All the doors and window shutters actually open and close. It is also an entry into the small miscellaneous category of the Colossal Castle Contest. Leanorll Manor sits on a rock island in the middle of a placid lake. This morning, one of the servants brings in fresh water and kindling while the cook peels an apple. Lord Leanor makes his morning rounds and checks in with the roof top sentry. While the area has enjoyed a period of peace, terrible rumors from Nocturnus keep everyone on edge. See more on brickbuilt. Thanks for looking, another Avalonian build is coming soon

Welcome to the north Tyndale! -
Very pretty cottage, LD's and DC's influence is easy to recognize. The little gorge with stream adds a lot interest to the landscape and I also like your trees. A few grass stalks or green friends flowers would help improve the grass sections

Nasty trickses! Doesn't look good for Historica. The builds themselves look amazing though Really nice fire effect -

Lovely gate! Those curved wooden sections are perfect I think the irregular base is one of your best yet too And an interesting addition to your story -
Lovely set of interiors, the numerous arches really work marvelously here It's great to see LD's dragon design used again too! Some of my favorite details: the wedge bricks used around the fireplace, stuffed bear trophy, and t-bar used for the tap on the barrel

I quite like the wall style here, and your wooden gates also work well in this setting Nice touch with the little pine trees
