Ooooh! I really like the greebly, almost insectiod/cyborg look it has. Looks like something from the Matrix.

Update: The resons for my status change is that I definitely identify as Bigender, but with a female-leaning personality, thus I felt the "lady" descriptor would be a better fit for me here.

That think looks crazy awesome! I will have to admit, though that the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the thread title was that scene from Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator" where Adenoid Hynkel & Field Marschall Herring were discussing "Flying Dreadnoughts" and other off-the-wall military projects. :D Yours, though, definitely looks like something that could actually work. :)

Oh, I remember watching that very episode of The Original Series on PBS when I was a kid: One of my favorite original Star Trek episodes. You managed to perfectly capture the look of the Shuttlecraft, both inside & out. :)

Disney Princess 2015 Rumors and Discussion
Laura Beinbrech replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
According to the official Disney Princess site (princess.disney.com), the official princesses currently are: Aurora, Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, Merida, Tiana, Pocoantas, Mulan, Rapunzel, Jasmine, & Snow White. Elsa & Anna are to be added soon, so basically we can probably expect to see at least one set with each of them at some point -
Disney Princess 2015 Rumors and Discussion
Laura Beinbrech replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Technically speaking, she is not a princess, but she IS officially part of the Disney Princess toy line, and thus is a Disney Princess (important distinction), so she should eventually show up as part of the LEGO Disney Princess theme. ;) -
Oh, NICE! Another minidoll-based theme! I'm definitely liking the characters that I've seen thus far from the prelim pics, and it looks like the elfs/faeries have a new skirt mold? Anyways, I'm definitely getting the boat if nothing else: Gotta add it to my ever-growing fleet. ;) By the way, anyone have any kind of release date for these (I didn't recall seeing one as I read through this thread)?

Disney Princess 2015 Rumors and Discussion
Laura Beinbrech replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I have a feeling that a "Mulan & the Great Stone Dragon" with either Mushu or the horse would be most likely for Mulan, not that I'd mind in the least. Mulan is, after all, my favorite princess of them all. :) -
Those are amazing! Particularly the 2015 Hill valley (too bad it doesn't look like we'll be getting flying cars by next year, though).

Who misses The Harry Potter Lego?
Laura Beinbrech replied to Ranger_Elegost's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm hoping/thinking the same thing. My wife & I are DEFINITELY goin to see that movie when it comes out, and I'm hoping for some good sets based on it (particularly some of the magical creatures). -
Disney Princess 2015 Rumors and Discussion

Oh yes! I am excited to see that they are offering Aurora, Jasmine & Frozen sets. Of course, I'll probably try to re-interpret Aurora as her Maleficent version, but still.... Jasmine was always one of my favorite princesses, due to her independant, sassy attitude. :) -
Awww! Lookit the cute little grubby-wubbies!~<3 Seriously, though, excellent work: The dwelling is recognizeable as a small house for a family, yet completely alien at the same time! You also did a great job rocking the Xenomorph style for the aliens.

Disney Princess 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Laura Beinbrech replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think that having a separate Disney Animated canon line that coexists alongside the Princess line would be ideal: I like the currend Disney Princess line is fine the way it is, but that just might be me.... Personally I'd like to see more pricesses, particularly Mulan, Jasmine & Belle. -
That steampunk version of Baba Yaga's hut is AWESOME! Now you should try making something like this one steampunk version of Baba Yaga I saw once: The picture featured Baba Yaga wearing typical aviator's duds (including the flying cap & goggles), flying a rocket-powered version of her mortar with a LITERAL broom-handle Mauser :D

Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! I like them all. I don't know if this was intentional on your part, but the guy who's second from the left on the second row is a dead ringer for the Red Mage class from various Final Fantasy games....

Well, the Rolls Royce & Bentleys used by the Royal Family were where I got some of my inspiration from.

Very pretty! I especially like your palm trees... VERY realistic, especially for fan palms (and I do appreciate me some nice palm trees!)

Thanks guys! It was a bit of a challenge, considering how few parts I had in the light blue colors.... I like to think of it as the ULTIMATE vanity plate.

I'm not entirely sure if this belongs here or in the Town section, but here goes: I knew from the moment that I first saw the carriage set, I just HAD to make something cool with those fancy golden wheels. What came to my mind after a few days of thinking on it was a Rolls-Royce/Dusenberg-styled Royal Roadster: A modern Princess needs a car, and one that can get her where she's going in STYLE! Those Brickforge printed shields sure came in handy, didn't they? ;) (Note: I couldn't find the license plate tile I could have SWORE I had, so I decided to use one of the money tiles, since it looks kinda like some of the classic car license plates I've seen in different places) Interior view showing the instrument panel. I couldn't fit in a floor shifter, so I'm just going to say that the gearshift lever is on the steering column, like most old-school cars. ;) Another interior shot, taken from the front to show the plush, pink interior. :D Pic of Laura, my Friends sig fig & Cinderella standing beside the car. I think the color scheme worked out pretty well, especially considering how poorly things were going early on in the build process... Finally, the first annual Friends Road Rally. Our contestants this year are Laura & Cinderella in her Royal Roadster, Jane & Stephanie in Stephanie's Cool Convertible and finally, Olivia in her glorified ATV, er, I mean Dune Buggy. :D Hope you guys like the build.

I'd definitely like to see some more lines with minidolls as well. A fantasy line, like several have mentioned before would be perfect, IMO: You could have an evil witch, good adventurous girls (possibly something along the lines of a girl-friendly Heroica, maybe?) with the different heroine characters taking typical RPG party roles (healer, squishy wizard, tank, ranger, etc)... Especially if it means introducing a PROPER unicorn figure for the girls to ride. I also wouldn't mind seeing an official LEGO Sailor Moon theme using minidolls, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I just love ALL of them! The plane kinda reminds me of some of the Orc flyers from Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magic Obscrua (video game set in a D&D type fantasy world going through an industrial revolution)....

I did a review of the Missouri set here a while back (which unfortunately never got indexed in the Clone Review Index), but here's a few relevant pics: First and early WIP of my destroyer project (which in actuality is MUCH further along, has the radar masts switched in position, and the bridge & 02 Level platform lengthened and moved forwards a bit): ...And second, a comparison of the Missouri's Hull with a ship project (that is on indefinite hold) using the Black Pearl's hull with 2 extra sections and the LEGO City standard-sized boat hull (the 12x51 boat hulls used in most larger City floating boat sets recently): As you can see, it fits in pretty well, size wise: I use the 12x51 hulls for Corvettes (the skinny version of the hull) and Frigates (the wider version of said hull), the Kre-O Missouri hulls for Destroyer class ships, and larger hulls (such as the LEGO Pirate 16 stud wide sectional hulls & that Oxford Korean navy ship set hull) for cruisers...

Kre-O/Lego wars?! I say all your powers combined: This is one (of several) MOCs I made using both Kre-O and LEGO parts. This one was made from one of the Battleship sets that I converted into a Vic Viper. I also have two USS Missouri sets that I'm working on making into Destroyers (one of which is nearly finished), and have used a number of the Battleship aliens in other MOCs and such (I don't care for the usual Kreon figures, but I LOVE the aliens).

What is your latest Licensed purchase?
Laura Beinbrech replied to Themadpatter's topic in LEGO Licensed
Cinderella's Carriage. ....Which I plan on turning into a golden-wheeled hot rod or roadster.
