The Republic agent’s YV-560 courier ship Cloudrunner is approaching the location, where the long awaited New Republic Gala would take place… » Ah, there it is, the Atrisia. « » We have you now on our monitors, Cloudrunner. Code Green confirmed. Proceed with docking. « » Affirmative Atrisia. Approach vector 4-6-decimal 2-8. Cloudrunner over. « » Sths« (So this is where the New Republic Gala will take place? It looks like a museum!) » Oh I assure you, it is! A rarity from the days of the High Republic, manufactured by the Lantillian ShipWrights after a draft by famous designer Ramni Holian. She was an alumni of the Royal Academy of Arts on the planet Kitel Phard, also known as Atrisia! » h « (Ah, therefore the name.) Yes. Some years ago, in her desperation to come up with its own capital ships, the Alliance turned her into a starfighter carrier. But now she can serve her real purpose again - To host this exquisite party! « Meanwhile, aboard the Lambda-Shuttle Elysium with the very same destination… » Shuttle Elysium? Priority landing confirmed. Proceed with your approach. « » We just received the clearance to land on the starliner, my lord. « » Very good. Let’s hope they prepared the finest suite for us. The name Atrisia… This is a sign of fortune, Vee-Nine! Atrisia is the planet we Vonregs are hailing from. I feel it. This Gala will be a turning point for me and alter the whole New Republic! « to next chapter >> ******************** Hello and welcome to the next chapter of RotLA! Here I present you the miniature of a vintage, but refurbished civillian starliner, the Atrisia, where the New Republic Gala will take place. The ship is around 370m long and equiped with three main ion engines, as well as secondary ones for better maneuverability. I added the Corellian Blockade Runner for size reference and storywise for escort purposes. The Lambda-Shuttle shown on the first image is the 75302 one. One of my favorite series Star Wars ships by Lego. Here are additional images without the FX.

Thank you very much . I love to be creative with characters and their stories. And here, it's part of my motivation, knowing that there are a few people reading and enjoying them. And Lego is a nice way to convey them Thanks. Yes, it's quite simple: a pin connector 4274 with the stud into the arc and the pin into a 1x1 brick. Not sure if this is a illegal technique, but it seems to click, so the pin might not be stressed. Just a few. They must be from the old 'Life on Mars' set with those vacuum pipes. For Mars surface it's the perfect color, actually. I like it. Maybe because I have not many they are precious to me

Thank you so much I tell you, I've been struggling with that shot. Should the focus be on the foreground or the background with the miniatures? Or should everything be clearly visible? It was a guts feeling to take this one, although the miniatures would be a bit blurry. This way, the tension towards the castle is building up. Seems I chose the right one

MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules
Sentinel_Brix replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Easier it is, yes. It corresponds to option B from my previous posts, where the game is played more like a game of risk (the board game). But that exactly triggers 'aggressive' campaigns for the sake of sector control. Like: if I want Kashyyyk to be liberated, I have to do it with spamming builds in P9, rather than play along the legends timeline where at some point it were liberated. In the case of (loose) timeline approach, the scores and sector controls would be more "meta". I can live with both in the end. Just wanted to know your opinion -
MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules
Sentinel_Brix replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
No, what do you mean? Just kidding My question here is indeed in connection with the Naboo topic. (I wouldn't immediately call Republic troops on Naboo an incident ). I mean, I have a preference as I wrote. Maybe not everyone read it though (on the other hand, I bet every one of the handful of active players has ) My question specifically for Kashyyyk is if we are pre- or post liberation (mainly to the GM @MKJoshA) ? -
MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules
Sentinel_Brix replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Just a little question: Is Kashyyyk still occupied or already freed in our game? Per game rules P9 is under DS control, but as we are following the legends timeline, in 5 ABY Kashyyyk would be free or at the verge of being free. What's your opinion here? Do we in general split sector ownership 'as per game rules' from the 'historical' developments on planets inside these sectors? Or is this more like a game of risk, where locked sectors really alter the timeline. I personally prefer the former above the latter. Just imagine I could build a story around a heavy defeat of Rebel forces on a specific planet and still lock the sector with the earned game points... Eventually, I'm asking this because of Life Day originating from Kashyyyk -
[O17-DS] Sold Out on Naboo
Sentinel_Brix replied to A_Goodman's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
My personal opinion is, that the Mysteries universe anyway sets its own continuity as we do fan fiction here and do not only rebuild events from the legends storyline. So I'd say enjoy adding your own story where you can use elements of both. Maybe others see it more strict, Idk Of course, it's an RPG, so you may react to events and actions from other players' builds. That's part of the fun You can place your build in any square your side has access to: Could be a new square adjacent to a square already under full control of your faction, or it could a square that is accessible via one of the major hyperlanes. Your team would need to control at least one square on such a route to use it. There is a map to work with here. A grid square is locked by one team if its score there is equal or greater than 100 points. Check out the current map! I have to add, it is not forbidden to build in a square that is challenged by another team. -

With the New Republic Gala looming on the other end of the Galaxy, agents Arthemias Bolt and Xher arrive on Acorvus, an obscure, barren planet in the Expansion Region. Len’ya’s information was just right. The planet - also known as Lazerian III – serves as a less known penal colony and hideout of the noble Vonreg family – the Castle Vonreg! » Castle Vonreg…there it is! « » There’s a lot of imperial activity down there. It will be difficult to sneak in... « » You don't say? I have a bad feeling about this. « » Len'ya has been planning this for a long time. We can't back down. « » I doubt he knew about this little gathering of Remnant blokes. After the failure with Momma the Hutt, I'm still wondering how Len'ya managed to come up with the position of this castle. « » Yeah, probably made a deal or two. « » Oh, sure he did. The question is, with whom. Anyway, let's stick to the plan. We'll sneak in, receive Len'yas transmission of Vonreg's personal codes, open the vault and retrieve the Ring of Nurbia. The Ring is key to find Emperor Palpatines treasure planet, right? « » Right... « » At least we have support from the special forces. « » I told you we don't need them. You, me and Rietta would do. « » Rietta wouldn't fit into a stormtrooper's uniform, would she? Anyway we need her to slice the local network and help us out! « » I hope these two are as good as you say. « » Hey, don't worry, sweatheart. Cahain and I got into places more heavily guarded than this. « » More guarded than this?! They have walkers, they have a shield generator, all these cannons and guards...« » Geller and Cahain are Pros who just returned from a rescue mission! No one keeps their cool better than these two. Len'ya trusts me with my choices and I do with his, see Black Sun? « » Ok, I guess you and Len'ya are square then... Look! That one guard is leaving the sentry again! « » Ok. Now or never! Xher, take out that guard! Geller and Cahain? Secure the left flank and shut down those cameras. We'll meet at the outlet! And y'all watch out for the AT-ST and them Viper droids! « to next chapter >> ************************************ Hello there and welcome to the next episode of Raiders of the Lost Art! [O17-DS] Sold Out on Naboo
Sentinel_Brix replied to A_Goodman's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Hello @A_Goodman and welcome (back) to the game! You recreated the architecture and mood of Theed perfectly! I admired it already in the M4-24 contest- there in another era. Maybe you can still apply for 2x points for using it here I really like your imperial team and the little variances in the stormtroopers' armor. The ISB officer looks cool too! You picked good angles to show the surprise of the imperials, when suddenly Republic troopers arrive. @Max_Lego is a bit strict here. In one of his last builds he showed that Naboo is under a firm imperial rule of Moff Panaka . I don't mind if the Republic team is looking distinctive. And although per game rules L9 is under Light Side Control, I assume Coruscant to be still under Imperial rule, be it Isard under the legends canon we follow (loosly) here, or under Grand Vizier Amedda in the new canon. @A_Goodman you were probably not considring an imperial world, but if it were so, I'd love to see if there were any signs of "imperial influence" on the architecture of Theed All in all, great you decided to contribute here and keep up the great work. I'd love to see how your story unfolds. -
[D13 - DS] - Thrawn's childhood dream
Sentinel_Brix replied to Max_Lego's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Very nice Destroyer Bridge! I really like the curvature of the bunkers and the front windows overall. Having a glimpse on what Thrawn is doing "right now" is cool. What I particularly enjoyed is (I'm biased): Thanks for picking up the storywith the Vonregs! Especially how you worked out the difference between Thrawn and Baron Vonreg, who are both art collectors, is soo "in character" of Thrawn! Great storytelling! -
Star Wars Mysteries Life Day Contest
Sentinel_Brix replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game

A single figure is standing in the middle of the pouring rain and waiting for someone to arrive... Baron Vonreg made a detour from Chandrila, to answer the call of his favorite niece... » That's a bold move to come here.Especially considering where you come from. Taris is a New Republic world now, Elena. « » Uncle. So good to see you. I know it’s dangerous but I had to come. It's urgent. Viceadmiral Cesco wants to bring the Imperial Remnant to one table. He demands you to be the host at Castle Vonreg, at the same time the Rebel Gala takes place. « » Hrmpf. So the Emperor's Hound wants to test my loyalty. « » Yes, uncle. He... he thinks you are a - « » A what? « » A traitor! I mean, c'mon! He's not even wrong, is he? You are ingratiating yourself and selling our family to this... Rebel scum! « » Elena, you forget: We are Vonregs first. We invested heavily into the Empire. With Credits and blood! You and your cousins serve the Empire, yes, but only because I allowed so! I have my own agenda now. You will see, the Vonregs will be on the rise soon. Independent from the Empire. « » Our family has emerged from insignificance to relevance, thanks to the Empire! And you are throwing it all away for this... Republic?! « » Times change, little Elena. My place is where the center of power is. I don't want to be part of the failing Empire. I just want to squeeze enough out of it before it collapses, like the supernova it is. « » Uncle? You are breaking my heart! If you won't come back and host this Shadow Council, Cesco will get us executed! All of us Vonregs in the ranks of the Imperial Fleet and Army. Your Blood! « » ... « » Nothing to say?!? Drop me off here. Now!! « » Elena... Please... « » I'll be at our families' castle and organize the meeting. If you have any loyalty left in you, you'll be there. « » ... « » She is right, master. Your obsession with Palpatines treasures and that Alderaan princess could cost many of your relatives' lives, considering Admiral Cescos reputation... « » Grr, I don't need a droid chauffeur to be my source of conscience. I know what I have to do... « Bonus: Somewhere, deep in the Imperial Remnant territories... » Honored loyal Imperial Admirals, Captains, Comissars and Moffs. I am Commander Vonreg, attaché of the Admiral of the Apocalyptic Fleet. Some time ago, we not only lost our Emperor, but also our focus. We are an Empire no more. We are a thousand Empires - each and every single one dying on its own. It is time, to stop the bleeding and unite! As you are reading this transmission, Rebels gather to prematurely celebrate their so called victory. Their attention is diverted. This is the time to hold council and to decide on the future of the Empire. You, as one of the most powerful and trusted servants of the Empire, are invited to join this Shadow Council. If you decide to follow the call, we will send you the coordinates of the secret meeting. Take responsibility and be part of the Rebirth! End of Transmission. « >> to next chapter **************************************************** Hello and welcome back to Raiders of the Lost Art! It's time, to pull all the stories - Raiders and Jedi Quest - together in a a major cross-over! The New Republic is soon going to celebrate a big Gala. In the meantime, the Imperial Remnants try to organize a secret Shadow Council. And where are Ward Len'ya and his team, after they failed to get the information they were seeking at Momma the Hutt? Stay tuned and you will see! BIG CREDIT TO @Keymonus for his interpretation of rain with Lego bricks. His build inspried me to try out the technique in a Star Wars Mysteries episode. Here are additonal pictures of Vonregs Limousine Speeder. I tried a star wars-y version of a 1930ies limousine, like the RR Phantom III for example.

A great little moc you have here, Max! The minifig placing with the stretched legs is well solved. I especially like the proportions of figure and bike here. The dual molded arms are indeed an upgrade. You should integrate the bike for one of your Mysteries stories to score points! -
Thanks to all of you for your friendly words, I appreciate that! No not meant to be There is a backstory for the Shadow Guard I may have opportunity to narrate at some point. That's so nice of you! And it's Viceadmiral. There is no Emperor left to promote me. I'm not like the other warlords out there, taking pompous titles to sound more important. « » Sir… may I ask, is this the Jedi prisoner, everyone is talking about? « » He’s no Jedi. Merely an annoyance. And after multiple weeks in stasis, he’s more dead than alive. He thought he could trick me, but finally he fell into my hands. « » Commander: What was the ratio of Rebel ships and the Imperial fleet before the disaster above Endor? « » I... I don't know, Sir. « » More than 1:1000! And what is it now? « » I'm not sure, Sir... Is this a test of some kind? « » 1:10. My point is the Empire could still crush the Rebellion easily. But it is lacking unity. All these warlords, they are stockpiling resources. They are distrustfully looking at each other in malevolence. We are watching the Rebels taking us out, one by one! They are even daring to celebrate their victories in a gala! We are no Empire no more. We are a thousand pathetic little Empires dying a thousand deaths! « » Sir, why can't you be our leader? You have these Reborn and the Apocalyptic Fleet under your control... « » Good question, Commander, I could. However, I'm more useful on the battlefield, rather than in politics. There are plenty little Imperial cells with control over one cruiser or a garrison. They are useless. But there are also some bigger fish out there. Isard, Moff Pandion, Captain Paelleon, Comissar Rax, Moffs Kaas and Bradwyn... We would need to bring them all to one table; to decide about the fate of the Empire. And then there is your family... « » I'm loyal to the Empire. So is my family. « » How about Baron Vonreg himself? He supports the rebellion now, I heard. That is high treason. « » I assure you, my uncle is loyal to the Empire. « » I hope for your sake that is the case, Commander, because it's your duty now to organize a little meeting. And I expect the Baron to host it, at Castle Vonreg… « Sometime later, the prisoner is left alone in his never ending agony... But suddenly... » Room secured! « » Trrt-proop-brrraat! « » Yes, TJ-13. We finally found your friend. « » Whtshppninningggnnhh… « » Just relax for a moment. You're free of the energy field. Shh. You have stasis sickness. … « » N-N-Neebrum?! Isthaty-y-you? Woooooop! I can hear the sound Cool speeder bikes and nice part usage for the underbody. Is that from the old Trike or some newer generation? The handles are also well solved. The forest looks nice with all this loose and colorful ground vegetation. That olive green bush seems to look special, but it's hard to see
