  1. *Your entry has earned 13 XP (S:6.5, T:2.5, A:4) doubled makes a total of 26 XP [Internal Logfile: LG-3488] ... processing... It's been 6 standard years, since my droid comerades and I escape the mines of Kessel. We stole a spaceship and passed the maelstorm. We headed straight to the farthest place the Mark II navigation computer had to offer - the Kallea sector at the southern outskirts of the galaxy. We found a planet, unknown to any of us. None of us was a good pilot and during the descent, something went badly wrong. We crashed on the surface in a - as our former masters would say - lush and exotic forrest. Organic life everywhere. The ship broke apart and not all of us held themselves harmless. Some fellow droids were destroyed. My motivator was broken. My artificial body completely paralysed, but still well aware of my surrounding. The others left me at the crash site and went off to find a place more appealing for droid life. It was pure logic. I would have kept them back. Only Gonk stayed. What a simple but beatuful mind. He shared his power with me for the last six years, never leaving me. I owe him my life. Nature got all over us. Some creatures called me their home. My core warmed them and I protected them from predators with my voice. I saw generations of them come and go. They are family. ... processing... today, Gonk ceased to function. His battery died and with him a close friend is gone. Darkness falls. The furry friends gone... My energy is decreasing beyond the critical level. But I'm in peace. I'm free. Life is good... [End of Internal Log File LG 3488] 9 years later... Ensign Bizzy Walsh: Yes, RQ8 I got the readout. RQ8-B9: chirp - feep? Ensign Bizzy Walsh: No. Let him rest in peace... We will report the crash site to the squadron command. Wondering where the other droids went... RQ8-B9: beep-feep. Ensign Bizzy Walsh: I know. ******************************************************************************************************************************************** Hello everyone, So this is my first ever build to be featured in Star Wars Mysteries. It's a feature for Episode V, droid rebellion afermath. I hope you like it. Best Regards Sentinel Brix
  2. Sorry, just another question. How can I include images into a post? It says, I can only upload 40KB. That's really small... is there something I'm missing?
  3. Thanks, both of you. Trust me, I'm very careful in any of my Star Wars stories so they don't violate any canonical storylines. It will be very down-to-earth and low impact. Here, I will only make up planets if deemed absolutely necessary.
  4. Hello @MKJoshA, Thanks for all the clarification. There is still one thing I'm not sure about. The galaxy features billions of star systems, where the map is showing just "a few" of them. For example, if I'm going to build in K21, there are only 2 worlds mapped, but probably a 1000 others inhabitable in that square. Baseline: Can I invent a planet and place it into a specific square? Or does that contradict the rules aka no points? Best Regards
  5. Thanks for clarification, both of you. I'll come back to you if I have further questions ;-) Best Regards
  6. Hello there, I'm trying to get started, but not sure if my understanding ist correct. The current map features a handful of colored squares. Dumb question maybe, but is there a legend or something available what the colors stand for? I think red is Imperial territory, but the others? If I'm not wrong, on the Light Side I could choose any planet for my build, that is either in a sector controlled by my faction or in its direct neighbourhood? Or I can go for a planet on a hyperlane connecting to a controlled sector, right? How about planets that are not fulfilling these conditions, but are related to "my" story? How about inventing planets in specific sectors ? Last but not least, where do I post the beginning of "my story"? Do I open a new thread in the forum? Best Sentinel_Brix
  7. Hello everyone, Yperio_Bricks sacrificed his Flickr-account to invite me here (thank you), so I couldn't do anything else but follow ;-) I'm not sure I fully understood all the games' rules but I try to follow the procedures from the primary page. So, here I present my primary character I would like to start some builds around: Name: Ward Len'ya Species: Bothan Age: ~ 60 std. years Occupation: Intelligence and Recon Officer, information broker Affiliation: Bothan Spynet, New Republic Character Background: Bothans see a potential enemy in each and everyone. The concept of trust and friendship beyond their own clan is suspicious to them. They are passionate about finding weaknesses and flaws in their counterpart and willing to expose and take advantage of them. Hailing from Bothawui, Ward Len'ya is no different. During the clone wars, he remained neutral and held contact to both Republic and Separatists. He started to collect and sell valuable information and after the Empire's rise, he became a successful intelligence broker. He remained independent and became a member of the Spynet, overseeing agents and moving assets across the galaxy. The destruction of Alderaan changed his position dramatically. Realizing the Empire lost all sense for rules, he started to support the cause of the rebellion. As part of the spynet, he forwarded secrets to the alliance and became one of the most reliable sources of intelligence, notably for Crix Madines rebel cell. In 3 ABY he actively joined forces with a group of rebel agents on Sarka and extracted Imperial fleet movement data from an ISB hypercomm relay. In the later course of events he worked to uncover an Imperial double agent in Madines cell, who caused al lot of turmoil. He successfully revealed the mole, but has been taken hostage in the agents' attempt to retreat. Len'ya got wounded in the succeeding shootout and died. At least that's what the official reports tell. Len'ya has been revived in secret, although multiple of his organs had to be replaced. It took him a long time to recover but now he's back and willing to make the New Republic a success story in these uncertain times... Personality: Len'ya is perceived as arrogant and ruthless by his rebel comrades. While they follow their hearts, it is said Len'ya is lacking one. (Ironically, he now got an artificial heart). Even though he often offends sensibilities, he tries to get the best results for the cause. He has no close friends, but has a lot of respect for his combatants, even if he doesn't show. The Bothan has never been a fighter but he is a mastermind and has still sharp senses. He is definitely not to be underestimated... Trivia: Len'ya was a reocurring NPC on an "pen&paper RPG" I do GM for. About me: I'm a passionate Star Wars "pen&paper-RPG" game master and inventing exciting stories in the galaxy far away is what I do for my friends and players on nearly weekly basis. Lately I got (back) into building Lego Star Wars - one could say the origin of all my storytelling. In fact, I'm going full circle, as some of the most "iconic" characters from my pen&paper RPG eventually first came to life as Lego Star Wars characters, back there in my childhood. The premise of Mysteries sounds interesting. I assume the challenge here will be much different, as in pen&paper the world building takes place in the players' imagination, following the GMs words. With Lego, visualization is key. I'll give it a try.
