  1. Four more years! ... i mean points! For P7! Poor "sith lord". Is that...? Did he wet himself in that claustrophobic litle rubber cell? At least he found some peace with commanding the droids later on
  2. What a beast! And a great solving of the built-up tension from IV. The little Genian-Raptors following Koko is a lovely scene. And then comes the apex predator unless there is no bigger creature looming elsewhere to pick up the leftovers when Koko is done with it It's a very star wars-y story arc so far with the barren planet, the mystic antique temple and a great beast to include some action!
  3. I like how stay with the color scheme, design and mystical mood throughout your story, building up tension!
  4. Raint looks like a good person. Why does he let himself deceive by the dark side? Again very well use of perspective and size
  5. This is a very cool, micro-designed shuttle! It's a great approach to use something one has a general sense of size off to put the whole scenery into perspective. The colums as a repetitive design in this story arc in different sizes really nicely connect the different chapters! Great to see the dark side striking again
  6. I really like the mood you caught here. I feel the tension and discomfort of the people who need to pass the check point. The scene gives the impression it's post order 66, right? The ground work looks cool and the concrete seems like it's suffocating the nature around. A site of desolation. The fence from the grid plates is a nice addition to increase the sense of oppression. This build would do really well for the Mysteries-RPG! Just replace the Clones with Stormtroopers to match the era and it's perfectly fitting. I would suggest you re-post it there with these tweaks. It would be well deserved points for your faction!
  7. *Your entry has earned 15 XP + 3 bonus for a total of 18 XP (S:5, T:5, A:5) Raiders of the Lost Art - A Star Wars Mysteries Story Chapter Overview with Link: Dramatis Personae: ******* Chapter 11 - Encounter at Skoova's << to previous chapter After their arrival in Shag City, Ward Len'ya leaves the others for a mission of his own. His destination is a little tavern named Skoova’s, at the outskirts of the busy town … » Hey furhead! You know this one? A Bothan walks into a bar. He dies. « » Dengar. If it were all about humor, you'd be the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. « » Grr. What do you want? You, walking in here... That is no coincidence, right? « » Funny and smart! You were working for Big Momma recently *. « (* see the story by @Jody Meyer ) » So? « » I have an important message for her. I need you to deliver it. « » Playing messenger is below my standards. « » I didn't know you had any. Anyway. It's a fair deal: I got credits, you have a fast ship and Momma trusts you enough to listen. « » Hmm. I'll consider it... « » Hey! There seems to be gunfight at the main road! The Empire is rolling out some heavy equipment! « » Oh, I have a bad feeling about this... « to next chapter >> **************************** Hello everyone! Welcome to Chapter 11 of RotLA. The premise for this vignette and Len'yas encounter with Dengar was that it should be in some kind of rustic tavern with a fish tank, inspired by the Saloon from the Jedi Survivor video game. One thing led to the other and suddenly I was working on a minifig version of Skoova Stev. So it became his bar on Aetwelt. I hope you like it. Sentinel_Brix Additional images here:
  8. How the tides turn. Months ago we were agile, rebelling and fighting the Empire - now we are lazy bureaucrats! Your build and the scenery is amazing! The snow is very, very convincing and the scene has so much tension! One can feel the cold breeze, even without the fx. Great start to a new arc and I can't wait to see how this evolves. And I really love the title
  9. Also here thanks for the feedback. I think I get your point on the walls. Curved, sloped bricks snotted just look so much more natural, just seeing it in e.g. the mando mayhem intro by @Yperio_Bricks. I'll try to get and do some of these parts next time Ah feels good that the gag with the Jeopard made you laugh
  10. Oh no, my lovely blue base plate! Just kidding. Thanks for the feedback! I understand your point here and from the Corellia moc. It's a tradeoff. I'm aware of great water effects e.g. by @n1majneb with his ungraceful exit but transparent tiles add up! Right now I have basically none. But I found some good offers and will try to collect some. Next time maybe the water will look different. What? The swamper ferryman is awsome! Again, just kidding
  11. Oh that's great! I completely understand the rule and the rationale. The Cloudrunner will be something like a base for my crew so it will reappear here and there and very nice you would still count it in the score here. I hope there is no objection against from the other players
  12. Thank you for the nice feedback. The changeling will return in one of my next chapters And thanks for the 2x points on the Starfighter moc (chapter 3) and this one!
  13. I can neither confirm nor deny such activities awsome
  14. Was just meant to be a playful banter I thought maybe you wanted to post it elsewhere since it's your work in progress. We have a WIP section in the faction sub-forum, but apparently there is no suitable thread for cross-faction discussion on open work. Since we are so few here actively playing it could be an idea Different Topic: @MKJoshA Is there anytime soon an update of the sector scores to be expected?
  15. Yeah, the light bars look definitely cool. It's just... did you intentionally "leak" the work in progress here?
  16. I love the KotOR game and I love your build! It gives me a feeling of ... familiarity . The angles of the dorsal and the ventral "beak" look so neat and well mimic the original. I don't even think you need to improve the greebling. It looks well with the studs on the surface, giving it a fitting texture. It's a pity it needs the trasparent support but understandable from stability point of view. The ship is designed to work in zero gravity, unlike your model Do you have other photo angles of the ship?
  17. I immediately got the legs on ebay . All four legs for 3€. I think it's a bargain. I'll probably won't build the Ronto, but maybe another moc creature... I'd love to see that! You have the full scene photographed? The swoop got a little bit shadowed by the amazing Ronto, but I'd like to add it's also a great design!
  18. This is perfect. I really like how the Ronto fits to minifigure scale. The head is really well built too! I have to check if these creature legs are available as second hand parts.
  19. I tried to think of new one's and it's not that easy - At least not to be biased to much with what I'm planning to build. The game master can steer a little bit the direction of our stories with the choice of bonuses here I like the LS intelligence agent - it's a low hanging fruit for me in my story. The starfighter is just 2 points more and a much higher effort, if it needs to be unique per entry. I'm always open to include a starship if it fits the story, but maybe as a bonus it's not going to be used very often. I have some other generic ideas here (as said, they may be biased): One Galaxy: Reference to someone else's entry or the main story - I love the idea that all builds are in the same galaxy at the same time (multiplayer RPG ) . Such a bonus could be applied if one reflects the main story (e.g. Valor explosion) or any other builder's entry. On the move: featuring a moc vehicle - e.g. land speeder, walker, spaceship. Would be more open than a starfighter Aggressive negotiations: feature a blasterfight or other type of battle in your build Flashback: show one of your heroes in a retrospective of the past - there is always an event or memory that makes the actions of your hero more understandable. E.g. one could reuse some of the battle droids or clones minifigs here! The cameo: feature a true Star Wars hero/villain in your story build. - cameos are great, if used gently and the appearance of the vip is reasonable and story related. Faiths: showing LS to take a selfless decision, DS to take an evil one, Mercs to take a decision for the sake of profit Homeworld: showing a scene in a headquarter of your faction Behind enemies' lines: showing your heroes in enemies' territory. Change of perspective: showing a piece of story from the enemies perspective - the better the villain, the better the story. Showing opponents action helps to justify the countermeasures your heroes are willing to take. Maybe they could be used as bonuses. Second thought, some of them may also be of better use for an episode. Idk Hope you like some of them...
  20. Thanks for the feedback and reading. Always good to hear someone's actually reading it Stay tuned for upcoming chapters! Thanks! I also enjoyed how weird it turned out. And no, you won't find it anywhere It's my creation as is its name. The reference to Kinyen is because of its three eyes. That is the homeworld of the three eyed, sentinent Gran. If the Gran got three eyes, other species from there might have similar vision as well. It's not from Aetwelt but imported Absolutely! Bolt made a tough decision and you'll see soon where this leads to
  21. Thank you very much. Yes the heroes had to move together Yes feel free to build there! It's non-canonic, as I made it up for my pen&paper RPG some years ago. There are some other points of interest as well. For instance a camp of big game hunters in the misty rainforest at the foot of the mountains. Behind a large waterfall, a tavern for the knowing is hidden. Or an exclusive hovering casino, cruising on the giant jungle river Tajkal, resembling a paddle steamer. In the swamps, it is said that a kind of voodoo witch is hiding, wielding the force differently than Jedi would. Feel free to add your own POI if you want!
  22. Indeed, that would be quick, easy and more seductive. But I'm on the light side and it's not the Jedi way. If I were on the dark side team though... yes, that's exactly what I should do Anyway, Ajunta Pall's lightsaber hilt was an exaggeration . Not a bad McGuffin though, right? But I hope you share the general idea that the Sith artifact is much easier earned additional xp than the starfighter . Maybe that's the rules' intention . Let the senate (or the Rancor) decide this fate... Oh that sounds great! Didn't know this story but seems like a good one (even with an audio drama existing)
  23. Thanks for the explanation and sorry for the late reply Just from balancing point of view, I wonder if then all factions would once have a special unique moc bonus like the LS with its starfighter? It does not concern me, but the DS Sith artifact would also need to be a unique one per entry? (not like featuring a character with a golden lightsaber hilt once belonging to... idk... Ajunta Pall... multiple times earning +4 in each entry ? Excuse me for stressing this, dear Darkside friends )
  24. *Your entry has earned 14 XP + 3 bonus for a total of 17 XP (S:5, T:5, A:4) Raiders of the Lost Art - A Star Wars Mysteries Story Chapter Overview with Link: Dramatis Personae: ******* Chapter 10 - Shag City << to previous chapter After the ride with the swamp skiff, the heroes arrive in Shag City. The town is built into a massive boulder in the midst of the swamp. The inhabitants use natural and artificial caverns as their homes and shops and errected towers of different style, reflecting their different homeworlds. Shag City has an infamous slave market and is a true melting pot. It used to belong to the Hutts, but since some years it is under control of the Imperials. Here, Len'ya and his crew want to recruit a thief... » Ah Shag City. Aetwelts beating, black heart! I have a special appointment elswhere in the city. The three of you find the thief and recruit him. « » How predictable. « » The two of you will do. I go fetch some supplies. This is a good market for unique components... « »How can we find a thief in this crowd. Len'ya didn't even mention his species. « »Patience and sharp eyes will help - Or a bait. « » A bait? « »If he is a pro he uses a scanner that detects the value of credits in one's wallet. I have an emitter in my pocket that will trick the pickpockets' scanner so that he thinks I'm the biggest game around. « While Xher and Bolt are looking for a thief to recruit, they register some commotion on the street. »Down on the ground, rebel scum! « »Granpa! « » Gnhnn! « »I need to do something! « »Xher, no! This is not our mission! Oh too late... « »Hey buckethead! Stop that! « » Back off citizen, or you're the next face down in the dust! « » Troopers! Disengage immediately! This is an order! « » You too, step back. This is none of your business! « » Oh I'm afraid it is, Corporal! I'm Colonel Izpin from the Security Bureau! « » Colonel? « » Yes! Izpin! ISB-Sec-Code Bravo-One-Zero-Two-Two. You should know your superiors! And you two better identify yourself too! « » Eh, my name is Dunta Rem- « »I don't care 'bout your kriffin' name!!! What's your TK-number on duty?! « » TK-117, Sir! Colonel, Sir! « » But sir, this man has been distributing rebel propaganda… « » Sure he did! We're undercover trying to catch the real rebels! You maggots are jeopardizing the whole operation! You know the word?! Jeopardize?! « » Eh... Jeopard? Is that an animal of some kind? I don't know... « » Oh dear... That explains a lot. You two are triggerin' my migrane. Listen: Next time you arrest one of my agents, I'll assign you to the mounted troopers. You gonna be cleaning stables for the rest of your life! Is that getting to your laser-brain? « »Sir! Yes, Sir! « » Okay agents let's retreat. We need to start all over again because of these two nerf herders... « But as they move, an officer enters the scene! » Imposter! Surrender or die! « » I really, really tried to avoid this... « to next chapter >> ********** Hello! So here it is: Shag City - capital of Aetwelt. Here are some additional angles and images of Shag City and its inhabitants:
  25. Thank you It's really fun to alter "terrestial" vehicles and turn them into star wars-y ones . For the swamp I bought a myriad of these olive trunks expecting one can connect them. Then I realized it won't work . I had to buy the brown pin connectors for the mangrove-ish trees. Painful lesson. An awful lot of the trunks were left over but they serve well as fleshy, alien plants
