  1. Wow, what a ship! I love the shape, the angles, the bareboned look... very inspiring. And I really enjoyed the presentation of the Bracca Flash. The intro message? Hilarious!
  2. I really like the lush thicket around the landing zone and how the Rebel fighters blend in. The Shuttle is the main build here and executed nicely, but it doesn't intrude itself upon the viewer. It also blends in with the whole build! I like how you built the ramp! Also, the depiction of action is on point. But would the Rebels do this? I presume the leadership of Bail Organa and Mon Mothma made pretty clear that the Rebel Alliance must be better than the Empire from morale and ethical point of view in order to not only win the war but to win over people. They wouldn't do "war crimes" like shooting wounded. With the battle of Scarif the transformation of a loose group of cells with different history and record was completed. The cells not living up to the morale code like the Partisans would be kept out or diminish. That's my 5 cents This "controversy" you built in doesn't lessen the overall greatness of your entry, of course.
  3. Thank you! Appreciate it!
  4. Hello, the overview of my submissions for the contest:
  5. ***** Hello and welcome to The Taboo - a Cantina and Bar in the town of Ashheap on the remote mining world of Burnin Konn! The cantina is not only offering the best brewed ale and the hottest kitchen in town, it is also a venue for shady business, with the local crime syndicate occupying the lounge! Spacers, Smugglers and Miners alike, visit the Taboo afterwork to have a drink and relax at the bar. And if they're hungry, the droid-chef is more than happy to prepare a nutritious and spicy meal. Burnin Konn suffered heavily under Imperial despotism, devastating the world under Operation Cinder and starvation under the Iron Blockade. Now a free trade and mining world, the trophies above the bar tell the story of liberation and victory. The venue offers a console for offworld-communication in the foyer and a juke-box in the patron's main room. The only drawbacks of this place? For the toilette, one needs to go outside! Take a tour through the inside and outside below! *****
  6. Thanks! You are right. When I set it up, it looked awsome in real life, 3D. Dense, full of action - a capture of the chaos of the assault. But with the photos I just couldn't convey it into 2D. Anyway I'm happy you like the concept
  7. Thank you guys! The beast was definitely the most enjoyable part of the build
  8. It's around 6BBY and the rebel brigade attacks an excavation site in the savannah on the planet Isde Naha, held by the Empire. The Imperials are looting forbidden tombs and the rebels - asked by the locals for help - are charging a surprise assault on the intruders. The Imperial Commander is standing his ground, only until the rebel leader Maya Pei arrives with a rebel yell, riding her Thumrak and pushing her brigade to victory. ***** Hello and welcome to my take on the Rebellions-are-built-on-hope - category. The diorama is depicting an assault of the Maya-Pei-Brigade - known from the TV-series Andor. I wanted to show the Rebellion in its rather unorganised stage before the Rebel Alliance came to life. The cells fight the Empire quite independently of each other, guerilla tactics and surprise attacks being their method of choice. In the photograph in 2D, the scene is unfortunately much more busy than in real life, so I included some highlight shots in the panels below. I hope you like how I envisioned the (mentioned-only) leader of the brigade Maya Pei and her crew
  9. Why, it lands on the roof! Just kidding, but that's how I store the model It would require some dedicated infrastructure, yes. Similar to TIEs hanging in a hangar. I guess that's why the F-Wing won't sell well and remains a niche starship in the NRs repertoire But I think the MG-100 StarFortress would suffer from similar obstacles. M...
  10. A GIANT SLAYER Built for the Rebel Alliance by the same manufacturer behind the B-Wing and MG-100 StarFortress Heavy Bomber, the F-Wing seamlessly joins their SF-series of high-Performance starfighters. True to Rebel doctrine, it is versatile, reliable, and designed to counter the Empire’s overwhelming numbers with precision and firepower. Designed as a capital ship buster, the F-Wing is engineered to withstand heavy broadside fire during its approach. Its reinforced hull, superior shielding, and surprising maneuverability allow it to navigate intense battlefields with irresistible efficiency. To disrupt enemy targeting, the F-Wing is equipped with quadrupole jammers, forcing hostile gunners to rely on visual tracking alone—a crippling disadvantage against such small targets. Offensively, the F-Wing is pure devastation. A heavy ion cannon disables enemy shields, while its five laser cannons swiftly eliminate fighters and gunships. When negotiations for surrender fail, its arsenal of heavy proton torpedoes goes live—unleashing a shattering volley capable of obliterating even the largest Imperial warships. ***** Hello and welcome to my asymmetric ship entry for the contest. The ship design is heavily inspired by Jason Hazelroths F-Wing fanon starfighter. Check out his original work at Artstation! https://jasonhazelroth.artstation.com/projects/d89nqQ Here some additional images without the fuzz
  11. Thank you, guys! Appreciate it!
  12. Hello and welcome to my entry for the Crew-category . It turned out to be a very colorful cartoonish group with all the characters having their respective color Check out the bios of the characters here: K'naz– Ex-Gladiator You wouldn’t believe it, but K’naz is the muscle of the Vulture’s crew. This scarred Kassk once fought for survival in the pits of Nar Kreeta, where blood and steel ruled. With Manj Valtura’s help, he escaped—and has remained his loyal companion ever since. Beneath the battle-hardened armor and fearsome glare, K’naz hides a surprisingly sensitive soul. But when fists fly, he wields a repulsor-enhanced hammer, delivering devastating blows beyond even his extraordinary strength. His only weakness? He's always hungry! Szizk– Melitto Ronin Once a tenured guard of the Ashiga Clan’s weapon factories on frozen Kijimi, Szizk stood on the wrong side of a power struggle—and paid the price. Exiled, cast out from her hive, she drifted, lost in depression, severed from the warmth of her kind. Manj offered her refuge aboard the Vulture, and though she sees them as nothing more than a substitute hive, she’s slowly warming up to the crew. Reserved, distant, but invaluable, Szizk is their blaster expert, her knowledge of rifles unmatched. Curd Tulpritt– Zeltron Gambler The enfant terrible of the gang, Curd is a chaotic force—eccentric, emotional, and always dragging the crew into trouble. A notorious gambler, he loves to bet on races. Flirtatious and shameless, he constantly pursues Josara, the only woman seemingly immune to his charm and pheromones. The crew is furious with him—after all, it was Curd who recklessly lost their ship, the Neon Vulture, in a Sabacc game. Manj "Vulture" Valtura– Twi'lek Soldier of Fortune The captain of the outcasts, Manj is the glue holding this crew together. A former servant to the Hutts, he managed to escape their grasp, but with a bounty on his head, he’s always on the run, chasing the next big payday. A little bit eccentric, Manj won't turn down even doubtful jobs, like the transport of an incubator with three obscure, hanging eggs, ready to hatch. Always on his side? His pet lizard Frenk! Right now, Manj is angry at Curd for losing the Neon Vulture, but not too much—after all, it was Curd who won it in the first place. Fiercely protective, Manj keeps his crew moving—because standing still is never an option. Josara "Josi" O'Benti– The Mechanic Dreamer Once a prized captive of Trandoshan slavers, Josara was about to be sold to the Hutts—until Manj intervened, saving her but earning himself a high bounty in the process. A young Togruta orphan, she owes him everything. Among the crew, Josi finally feels at home. Though she’s a talented mechanic, she still has much to learn. A dreamer, optimist, and the crew’s ray of sunshine, she believes—deep down—that Manj will lead them to fortune. ***** The piece count for side-builds is 98:
  13. Great crew and lovely characters! The only thing: You may need to remove one as the rule says 5 crew members max.
  14. Hello, I have my own creation of custom stickers that I'd like to use. It would be graffiti, a syndicate logo and posters for a wall. Would it be ok for the contest?
  15. Giving up what? The game has like 2 active players. Yet again you declare another war. To whom, I have to ask? Yperio left and I have my focus elswhere for now. I mean I embraced the challenge in L9 at that time and responded with adequate builds and scores. Was fun but you know I had to intervene for the sake of the game and the few players we were at that time. The threat of losing players due to aggressive play was already imminent there. I enjoy your builds and dedication to the battling aspect of the game, but for now, no one will respond...
  16. Your Coronet micro build is fantastic! you're on fire @Professor Thaum But you know, there won't be a response from the LS anytime soon DS should have closed that P10 Rorgam Mysteries story arc when the game was still somewhat running, imho
  17. Hey TripleSeven, thanks for this little reference Your build is awsome as a whole and the story enjoyable. I really like the platform. If this is really 5ABY, then I'm really curious about that Vader-guy Or do the Wind Raiders play before the Empire's fall?
  18. Very nice speeders! And I quite like the terrain as well! The transition from plates to snot
  19. Thank you very much, to both of you Good one Actually, I don't have a full-blown backstory for the yellowish river. It just looked interesting on the Castle Vonreg miniature and I kept the color for the interior too. The origin of the color is a mystery. Maybe some algae or bacteria? I imagined it as being somewhat viscous, like Geller said:
  20. Wow, thanks for the praise! Uh-oh. I should have had in mind you were waiting for Rax to be released from the story. I didn't think of that. Sorry. You can use him in your builds again. Please don't mind continuity too much here. I don't want to hold you back. It will take some time (and story builds) until I will really show the council
