  1. "Aye. That's probably it. Sir Silverpick, is there any other things you would wish us to do in the mine? Other than find the minerals and the thieves, of course. Also, have any miners gone missing recently? That would suggest a monster in the mines is what is stealing the minerals. Has anything else gone missing in the past at the mine? Supplies, food, water, rope, weapons, that sort of thing?" Dak leans against the nearest wall and pulls his Tfel sword off his back, as well as a rock. He begins sharpening the edge of the sword, the scrape of stone grinding against metal echoing loudly through the room.
  2. Yes, the Hulk mold seems to have a lot of possibilities. I would love to see a B:AC Bane or Solomon Grundy with that piece. It seems like it might be getting quite a bit of use in future years. I could also see that piece being used as a troll as well.
  3. That's what I'm here for. I love the HISHE vids, I've watched them all I think. Though the Dark Knight one is still my favorite. I just had to link it when people started talking about how Batman shouldn't kill.
  4. Then, where did you get the female officer torso? I don't recall it coming in any other sets....
  5. Ugh. So now Filoni will take over TCW, huh? That will be very, very bad .
  6. Really? A lot of times I find Adventure Time a little or a lot too childish for my tastes....... I'm mainly watching Danny Phantom or Ben 10 (The first series) now.
  7. Ahsoka won't be in the Malevolence set. TCW Padme will be in that set instead.
  8. Not half bad. It's certainly a possibility.
  9. You mean the CMF Alien, correct? If so, I think that might work, for Spidey at least. Probably not for Venom or Carnage, if they are made that is.
  10. What other way is there to have a black blade and a silver handle? I suppose they could dual-color mold it, but I don't think they do that anymore (Do they?). Argh, my Fury-class is more pieces than the Palace! There go my chances of a Sith Trooper army.....
  11. That is a beautiful MOC indeed. I love the parts usage on the tail and the legs, but the head is also very inspired.
  12. Including the Frodo hair. I see what you mean, but for the main focus of the theme, I think that a new mold is a necessity. Jack Sparrow's compass wasn't the main focus of the movies now was it? Thus, there really wasn't a need for a new mold. Also, the compass is usually in a square case anyway, so the new circle tile piece wasn't necessary. I really think that the new mold fo the Ring seen in the poster will be released, though, since there has been so much hype about it. Whatever the answer is, Toyfair will show/tell us.
  13. As Solomon Grundy or Bane, I assume?
  14. That is what the One Ring will look like. Official TLG poster, generally means official TLG piece.
  15. There really need to be two or more factions in order for the theme to sell well (e.g. Dino hunters with no dinos to hunt wouldn't sell well, neither would alien fighters with no aliens to fight, etc., etc.) I don't think a theme with made-up factions and real-life vehicles would work well either.
  16. "We appear to all be here except Aberforth. Now, where could that old man have gotten off to? He seemed so excited about this Quest at the Hall. " Dak appears to have returned to his normal self, albeit a bit less worried. "Well, we might as well make the most of waiting, and have a bit of conversation." Dak leans against the wall. "De'kra, I counldn't find anything about spirits in the Library, so your identity remains a mystery for now. "
  17. It will probably just be a Ninjago katana with a printed black blade.
  18. Here's my stance on the matter: If LEGO makes toys for children, there has to be the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys'. Say, if TLG made WWII sets and set Germany and Japan as the 'bad guys'. Wouldn't people in Germany and Japan be offended by that? If TLG made sets to appeal to the people in those countries, the country that is now set as the 'bad guys', Americans, would be offended. That's why TLG has the 'no war products' policy.
  19. Blue chrome.
  20. Well then, if both regular LEGO and Friends had equal amounts of male and female characters of equal importance the problem would be solved!
  21. A little bit darker perhaps, but just think of this scenario: Darth Vader: Strange, I feel a Jedi very near......It's almost as if he is right under my feet. Trooper: Yes sir! I really love the shaping of the cave, and the Jedi figure looks very nice.
  22. Or it could be silver printed with blue.
  23. Good for you. Senator Chuchi looks great, as do the rest of your customs. Especially Nihilus.
  24. Ring: Doubtful. They already showed the promotional picture with a new ring mold. They wouldn't bring that much hype without intending to deliver on it. Swords: Probably, but some swords don't need new molds.
