I like the use of Gandalf's head and beard. Gimli's helmet also looks quite good on them, maybe getting so many gimli's in the sets isn't so bad after all

Oh wow, I love it!

Is the green 1 stud wide dome on the upper gun a new piece? Bob

Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion
BobThePom replied to Brickdoctor's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Its their belts on their torsos aswell... I don't quite see how I can fight off the Imperial dogs without any Imperial dogs (let alone their actual dogs ). I'll give it a shot but I may have to go missing in action if it doesn't seem like it will work. Thanks anyway. -
Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Introduction and Discussion

BrickDoctor, I have encountered a difficulty and the game hasn't even begun. I read that customs are not allowed. Unfortunately all my stormtroopers (shadowtroopers/snowtroopers/pilots/scouttroopers) have been given small yellow marks on their arms and their helmets (with paint). I did it to make them from a different legion years and years ago.... Will these troopers be accepted in the builds? -
Having only ever shot two Womp Rats and my Grandma before I feel this is going to be quite a challange, I was so eager I went to my garage and lovingly polished my A-Wing. I hope she comes away from all this scratch-free. I can tell this going to be a jolly old spot of fun. I've got a thing or two to say to you Mr. Vader!

Hello again. Just a quick one here while I perfect my next star-fighter. A modified bultar class swoop - http://starwars.wiki...tar-class_swoop. Doesn't he look happy? I tried different methods for the grill on the front but none were satisfactory. I went for a headlight instead. (thats why its "modified" ) Here's another one. slightly different color scheme. Thanks for dropping by! Bob

Hello all. Right, so, I have been going through a very strange "Mandalorian" phase. When I saw this build I jumped right to it and built some vehicles for my little warriors. The first is the Aka'jor class shuttle http://starwars.wiki...r-class_shuttle. Here it is in all its glory. I am not happy with the cockpit though because it is very fragile and it doesn't quite give off the effect I wanted... Inside the cockpit. the pilots seat moves back on a technic hinge to allow troops to descend to the lower level. There are no photos of the inside of this ship so I have had to make it up myself. Which is a bonus. The back. Here is a loading ramp which moves up and then folds down. The wings were the hardest part, they also were the starting point and focus part of this model. They are studded on both sides with snot plates on the inside. The front. I regret putting those stickers on the gunship now. I regret more not taking them off for this build... Here you can see the offset on the cockpit. I tried really hard to get it to line up but it didn't. Ahwell. A final parting artistic shot. whoop whoop. That is all for now but don't worry, there is more to come! Thanks Bob

Its very nice, I like how you managed to fit the massive krell figure into the starfighter. I don't think the red pieces go so much with the rest of the color scheme though...
-
Wow, thats quite stunning!

Maybe they are like birds claws?

It is very well done but it is fake, if you look closely the "set" is displayed on the bottom of an over turned plastic container and either side of the grey backing baseplate you can see what looks to be either carpet or a bedspread. The noises I recognized from a Toyfair video that was posted a while ago so the builder has obviously taken the sound from that video and used it here. The absence of new pieces is also a give away that it is fake, all those pieces and the poster and the backing base plate can be obtained easily. A very well done video but a fake none-the-less.

Wow very nice!

Argh I wish I hadn't dismantled it now, I probably could have gotten some better photos. The genetically modified ones of course! I hadn't heard of the other sort? I only read the book! Yes it is the Lizard man tail, that was the piece that inspired this build!
-
Everyone?? oh dear, I hope the judges don't deduct points for an overused piece usage!

Can we change our entry to this competition? I'm not happy with mine and I was wondering if I could start over?
