  1. Our dark lord must arise to take his rightful place as the Lord Of The Sith. The other two are honestly my current predictions for the R2 KT set. (But as an add on to the Tantive Hallway.) If Lego did do that I’d hope they include normal stormtrooper bodies as well as rebel friend.
  2. A surge of Sith insanity overwhelmed me for a moment. My bad, it’s been restored to the good old Battlefront 2 CC. Insanity will have to fight me another day. (I got infected by the DC thread) Executor Bridge and “Hello There” dioramas are a must! Unfortunately I’m all out of hopium for Mara at this point. I am satisfied that we are getting Cal Kestis. If anyone could convince me that Mara was coming I would get on Lego.com and order the set at light speed. Currently my priorities this year are: Death Star playset, Tantive Hallway and the R2 KT anniversary set. Essentially I want to build up my imperial and rebel military. Clone vs Droid battlepacks are secondary to those. “One way out!” Andor diorama and imperial army trooper battlepack when?!!! I honestly did not care for BOBF but Andor and BB are the cream of the crop when it comes to quality in newer Star Wars content right now. And I feel that they deserve so many more sets. Edit: Brickclicker’s just confirmed that: Cal Kestis, Young Leia (can we please refer to her as coughing baby as she is the weakest anniversary fig?) and Nien Nunb are the remaining of the mainline anniversary figs. R2 KT is still an anniversary fig but is similar in circumstances to how the classic Obi-wan was for the 20th due to how she’s only available for a very limited time.
  3. Nien Nunb is yet another hydrogen bomb compared to the coughing baby that’s Young Leia. But the lack of weequay is disappointing. I feel bad about expressing my idea that it could have been Mara Jade. Oh well there’s always the 30th LSW anniversary. But why is Nien an anniversary figure in a set that is based on the same film he appears in?
  4. Ideal situation: June (in Europe) sets get revealed on May 1st as per usual. The Death Star playset and Sarlaac pit, the two known anniversary sets for august, get revealed during the live stream. I need to see my beloved Cal Kestis.
  5. If that happens we will follow the example of the DC forum to keep this one alive. (Until sets are actually revealed) Me when that day inevitably comes: “Henceforth the Star Wars set discussion forum shall be reorganised into the first Galactic Aslume.” *Imperial march in Jonkler laughs proceeds to play.*
  6. That’s awesome. I’d hate to be the stormtrooper that has to fight that juggernaut.
  7. Just for fun. DC should start doing a quoted diorama series. Much like the ones that Star Wars has been getting. But based off comic covers and iconic moments in comics. Here’s a couple of examples: Superman diorama: based on the icon cover of his debut Action Comics #1. The diorama would be a 3d version of the cover including a car and a sunset backdrop. Figs: original costume superman and the other 3 men that are in the cover. Quote tile says: “faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a steaming locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.” Batman diorama: Gotham city rooftops with a nighttime backdrop of Gotham city. (Semi based off the iconic comic cover of Batman #1 with Batman and Robin swinging) Figures: Batman, Robin and commissioner Gordon. Quote: “I am the darkness, I am the night, I am Batman.” Green Lantern diorama: based off the cover Green Lantern 1990 #1. Build consists of a section of a Canyon with a blue sky backdrop and transparent holders that make the Lanterns look like they’re flying. Figures: Hal Jordan (white streaked hair), John Stewart (original GL comic uniform) and Comic Guy Gardner. Quote: “In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night, No evil shall escape my sight, Let those who worship evil’s might, Beware my power Green Lantern’s light. You guys have any other ideas for dioramas?
  8. Mara Jade 5th Fleet Security Clone Trooper Vader’s Fist stormtrooper Updated General Kenobi Cal Kestis (Jedi survivor) Merrin Imperial Jet trooper (And a commander variant) Battle damaged Vader Commander Bly 327th clone trooper Darth Man-patine (am I stupid) Captain Pellaeon Warlord Zsinj Thrawn (Ascendency trilogy) Legends Thrawn (Heir to the Empire)
  9. Rebellions are built on hope. Agreed. I will firmly believe that Nien Nunb is in the X-Wing vs Tie set as a normal figure until it’s confirmed otherwise. Same goes with the designers (or whoever it was) being drunk when they chose Young Leia. May I also suggest Mara Jade, Mara Jade and even Mara Jade as additional possibilities. Bold of you to assume that Lego would care about important to her character details like that.
  10. That’s a good point about R2 KT. Much like how Golden Wu was an anniversary figure for Lego shop exclusive Ninjago City Gardens but not one of the main six golden ninja figures. And then if Young Leia is in a Lola set, which if she is I hope that include the Jedi Robe variant of Obi-Wan from the second part of the series as well, and if R2 KT isn’t a main-line anniversary figure. That leaves two slots open. I doubt Nien Nunb will be one as he fits in too well with the X-Wing vs Tie. I feel like that the remaining anniversary figures will be of a female and/or dark side variety. Seeing the lack of both as anniversary figures. Mara Jade may still be an option.
  11. Each of these characters represents a moral quality that we must have. They teach us how to be better people. Their powers reflect those qualities. Superman: Teaches us the importance of kindness. Wonder Woman: Teaches us the importance of bravery and courage. Batman: Teaches us perseverance and self-sacrifice. Green Lantern: Teaches us the importance of emotions and overcoming our fears. Flash: Teaches us forgiveness and how to embrace our vulnerability. I really don’t think you understand how these characters work. Each character exemplifies the ideal morals that we must have to be good people. Batman may be the most realistic hero, and I still love him, but he’s not as good a role-model as some of the others. At times he has questionable morals. So before you judge a superhero for having a “unrealistic superpower” that you don’t like. Read a comic and ask this: What do they actually represent?” I’m done replying to your incredibly controversial takes @legoturtle I hope this inspired you to pick up a comic book and give some other heroes a chance.
  12. I did not know that about the ranks. Thank you. It’s always interesting to learn new lore details. I don’t think there’s anything that suggests the X-Wing vs Tie fighter will have an anniversary figure. However we thought that about the Sarlaac pit so who knows. 🤷‍♂️
  13. I meant Imperial army Lieutenant not the Navy Lieutenant. Navy Lieutenant is the one in UCS star destroyer. And a stormtrooper Lieutenant is the cell block officer in ANH. Army Lieutenant is 2 red squares and a blue square on a grey uniform. Yeah you’re right. Nien Nunb also fits in too well with the X-Wing vs Tie Fighter set so I still think he’s going to be in that. On the Bright side… Mara Jade’s back on the cards!!! Yeah. As much as I would love it to be a fortress inquisitorius, I’m still 99% sure that it’s a Death Star playset which is honestly just as good. I think that Tarkin is just a one of the four unknowns and that those figures are just hidden by the walls between rooms (if the leakers were shown images)
  14. I’m sorry. But if you really see Snyder-verse Superman, the one that is famously despised by the fandom for being so out of character for Superman, as the definitive version of Superman, I want to ask what are you smoking?! Superman was created as the embodiment of, and I’m saying this as a Brit: Truth, Justice and The American Way. As James Gunn said: “he’s Kindness in a world that thinks of Kindness as old-fashioned.” We don’t just look up to Superman and other heroes because of their laser eyes and fancy powers. We look up to them because of their characters and the morals they represent. One of my favourite DC characters is Kyle Rayner because he’s a nerd, like me, who does the right thing and uses his artistic creativity to help people as a Green Lantern. That’s why we need heroes like Superman, they represent the ideal values that we as humans must have. Sorry if that was a bit 🤓 and sounded like a rant.
  15. That’s a good question. The presence of an imperial crewman (which is interesting as I don’t think there’s been an imperial crewman in any previous Death Star sets) suggests that there will be some kind of command centre or hangar. The Death Star trooper points to a detention block.(or he’s just an extra that makes sense) We don’t currently know if the officers are named or generic but I feel like there may be a small conference room for them. The Stormtroopers give the indication of some kind of sector that requires security/ patrols like a cargo bay. My prediction for the remaining 4 figures: Tarkin, Tie Pilot, another Death Star Trooper and an imperial gunner. Either that or: Leia, Obi-Wan and Stormtrooper Han and Luke
  16. Same here. Not only does it have my favourite Disney-era Jedi but it also has a small imperial task force. Which I’m never going to say no to. Praying that the officers are any of: Captain, Lieutenant, Motti or Tagge. And then Tarkin being one of the four unknowns so we can get as many new ranks as possible. Ideally it’s Leia who isn’t an anniversary figure. But yeah this would probably be the best case scenario. If Young Leia does come in the Sarlaac pit, that probably will mean her original set number is an Acolyte set.
  17. Brickclicker just leaked some more info on the Death Star playset. It’s $159.99. Confirmed figures: Darth Vader, 2 stormtroopers, imperial crew member, Death Star trooper, 2x imperial officers and 4 other unknown figures. (+ already confirmed Cal Kestis) It sounds good. The Sarlaac pit is now supposedly and surprisingly coming with an anniversary figure as well. Nien Nunb? Also according to Brick Clicker.
  18. Ok I get not being a fan of supernatural abilities, despite many Batman villains having them, cough cough Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, Bane and Manbat. But you really going to trash on all the other non-powered DC heroes like that. Green Arrow, Huntress, Nightwing, Steel and Katana (just to name a few) are all awesome and are all non-powered heroes. Their use of their skill to help people and for the greater good are what make them admirable heroes. I’m not one of those people who want to get multiples of the same character (unless it’s a type of trooper in Star Wars). I only have 2 versions of Lego Batman (New 52 and TLBM) and I love them as both suits are great in their own ways. I don’t need anymore. What I do want are more heroes and Villains for my Justice League as some of Batman’s most interesting stories in the comics are when he teams up with other heroes. Yeah, even I have to admit that we’re going full Aslume too fast. However I feel @legoturtle has acted as a sort of catalyst for this as it appears that he’s cooked up his own brand of insanity. He’s not just the Jonkler he’s the whole Aslume.
  19. Some Bad Batch Season 3 set ideas. I don’t know how to hide spoilers so please ignore this post if you have not seen last couple of episodes. Rho Class Shuttle (£169.99): Commander Scorch, 2 Grey Stripe Clone commandos, Black armour Crosshair, Black armour Wrecker, Black Armour Hunter, Black Armour Echo and Bearded Admiral Rampart. Features: Troop bay drop deployment feature, loads of seats in the troop/cargo bay and the upper shuttle can separate from the cargo module. Imperial Turbo Tank (£149.99): Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair, Imperial Captain, prisoner Rampart and 2x TK troopers. Early Empire Venator (£149.99): Vice-Admiral Rampart, Young Thrawn, Young Morgan Elsbeth, 1 Clone Commando and 3x TK troopers. In scale with UCS Star Destroyer. CX Stealth Ship (£49.99): CX Clone Assassin, S3 Omega, Commander Wolffe and Captain Howzer (tactical gear). Imperial V-Wing (£34.99): S2 Tech, TK Shock Trooper, TK pilot and Dr Hemlock.
  20. Good point. I was just saying that’s it’s probably the only OT trooper with Screen Time that hasn’t been made. I would love some Magma Troopers though.
  21. Screen Culture is a blight on humanity. How did the man not realise that it’s a fake trailer?! You fellas are going to watch Superman in cinemas because of Superman. I’m going to watch Superman in cinemas because of Green Lantern. We are not the same. Geoff Johns really peaked at Blackest Night didn’t he?
  22. Wait a minute. Last year’s sets were all one big comic reference?!!! How did we not realise that?!!! Are we stupid?!!
  23. Relax, It’s more than likely all Star Wars games are going to get equal treatment from Lego. As in not getting any Play-sets whatsoever. We may get Kay Vess, the game’s protagonist, as a 30th anniversary figure just like we’re getting Cal as an anniversary figure this year.
  24. Yes that’s the most logical choice. It’s either that or the Young Leia set. Not a specific character, but Lego hasn’t made any imperial space-troopers either despite them having screen time in ANH. Here’s hoping they include one in the upcoming Death Star playset as well as a couple of stormtroopers.
  25. Madness overcomes even the strongest of wills and most fortified of minds eventually. I’m almost certain this Man went insane long before the Aslume came. Also at this point Batman and DC Superheroes are essentially the Same Theme.
