Very nice fleet! I really like the heavy hauler and the boat trailer/truck combo. Your building style seems to be simple but very effective and consistent. I grew up with this style from LEGO so its a refreshing sight from all the other builds that tend to go over the top with detail and end up looking TOO realistic that you cant tell its a toy,ie LEGO. Great job.

Very nice and i love your town layout, but i must ask, where is your layout. It looks like you in a cave or something like that.

@ Alldarker, nice set. looks like it will be a blast to build. i just acquired a bulk lot from someone which consisted of the kings castle set# 6080 and set #6041 armor shop. unfortunately no instructions. still nice to have that one and the kingdoms one together.

Title: Bad Idea Minifig: Ocean King Theme: City This is not what the King of the ocean had in mind when he went to visit his daughter and son in law up where the Humans live. Just a little twist on your typical theme. series 7 merman king by branobrick, on Flickr As you can see, his accomodations are less than what he is used to. series 7 merman king by branobrick, on Flickr series 7 merman king by branobrick, on Flickr In the end the king was gently returned to the ocean and was quickly eaten by a seagull, How unfortunate huh? You were expecting a happy ending? Thanks for looking! -
I love the rock work, always amazed at what people come up with to simulate rock

Press Release 10237 - Tower of Orthanc
branolego replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think LEGO used the old corner castle wall piece ( which I much prefer) on the upper part of the tower. If so, that's a selling point for me. It's hard to say though. -

Interesting build, thanks for sharing some insight of your life in England. That was very informative.

Wasn't that a fun task?!! I remember when i first sorted my LEGO out. I used margarine containers until i could afford real organizers. Anyhow, to answer your question, i have all those odd pieces sorted by use and relativity. i keep all my "castle" walls, large "wall" pieces in one container. I then put all the pieces i would typically use to "finish off a build, say like a cone or domed pieces. Well i hope this gets you in the right direction. Really its more of a preference thing, trial and error. good luck

Great looking trucks!! It always bugged me that the trucks and cars that LEGO built only fit back to back and not side to side. very nice details all around too. I look forward to more of your MOC"s

A couple of weeks ago Walmart was getting rid of The MINES OF MORIA for half price. I couldn't resist! I haven't opened it yet. I'm looking forward to it though because its the first set that I've bought that has an overly large "minifigure". You Lucky dog. Ive been searching for one of those. Good find!

try hooking it strait from the battery to the motor itself. maybe the receiver is faulty.

Hi everyone! Hope its not to late for the winter village contest?!! Just kidding. Well this was supposed to be my entry for the winter village contest, however as you can see it did not make it into the contest. I thought i would still share it though, because being an ex plumber, and having the latest plumber minifigure come out earlier this year I decided it would be a perfect mini fig to add to the winter village. So here it is, my creation from my inspiration which came from the minifig plumber, "Down hill Plumbing Service" hope you enjoy it. I enjoyed building a suitable place for him. thanks for looking. more photos on flickr link. please comment, and criticize. plumbing house with service truck by branobrick, on Flickr

all depends what type of vehicles your interested in. i just bought the 4x4 and i love it. it has great motors and tons of them. plus you can drive it by remote. the unimog only comes with one motor, so if you wanted to r/c it then you would have to buy an extra motor, a receiver and remote on top of the cost of the unimog. hope this helps.
