  4. looks fantastic!! someone just commented on my entry that it looked medieval as well as saying yours looked it also. id love to see yours next to mine. I love to tunnel passage to the rear of the ally way . neat idea
  5. i agree with you about the colore scheme, especially the first floor flooring. thanks for your comments and input. as far as the concession goes, im sure your right about them not having one, however it is LEGO and its fun to make stuff up, even if it doesnt exist in real life. do you have an entry? By the way, i'd be honored if you used the concession ideas. very politely put Thats my least favorite part, but you use what you've got, right? thanks for commenting

  7. B-OM-28A COME ONE , COME ALL!! Now is your chance to see the magnificent Sharon Clutchtonia perform tonight at the Grand Opera. Don't forget to grab your refreshments. As you can see this is street side view. The opera house is operated by Little People and tonight is the big show!! Here a fine gentleman is purchasing his ticket and another is ordering his beverage and snack for him and his lovely lady. Don't forget the popcorn. I think out of all the building, I'm most happy with the popcorn machine on the left. You can also get your favorite candy bar as well if your not feeling much like popcorn! There's lots of seating and great views of the show here at the Grand Opera. Just look at those comfy looking grand chairs. Here is the star of tonight!! Sharon herself, and I'm sure if you ask politely she would give you an autographed photo. Thanks for taking the time to check out The Grand Opera! Because we are only allowed 5 photos on the entry page i was unable to give you a full view of the building itself, so as always please click on this link to view all the more detailed photos on my http://www.flickr.co...57630427936774/ Good luck to all in the modular madness contest, lots of great competition so far. Please comment or critique. Reading everyone's comments on the entries is the funnest part; I think, after building LEGO of course. 12. BUSTED!! Mini figure: bandit Theme: western Architecture: Frontier cabin The sheriff new that the bandits were up to no good when they strolled into town one late, hot friday afternoon. Something about them just didnt sit easy with him. After several reports of cattle rustling as well as the bank showing signs of having been robbed, he decided to investigate. Bandits hideout by branobrick, on Flickr Bandits hideout by branobrick, on Flickr the bandit will be sitting in the rocking chair Bandits hideout by branobrick, on Flickr I modeled it after a late 1800's early 1900's frontier settlers cabin after arriving in the lonely west. They used what they had, which were trees and stones. hope you all enjoy my entry.

  15. I never would have thought about it like that. now that youve put it in that perspective its very nicely done. id love to live there if i was a minotaur. good luck on your entry!
  16. Thanks for the new comments. as for thoughts on yours, i love oll the detailing you did as well as all the different levels of his interest, however, and im not sure if this is what you were going for but, it doesnt seem like its a place a minotaur would live in. it just seems too cozy and soft. please correct me if i am wrong about your intentions.
  17. id love to hear your latest comments on the newly added entries.
  18. i tend to buy a lot of lego in secret.luckily my wife has a bad memory, so whenever she sees something "new" she asks how long ive had that. i just tell her its been sitting there for months. shes also not very observant, thank goodness, or id be in the dog house more. on the other hand, shes into candles and tupperware, so ive got some leverage there.
  19. i am guilty of this one as well. and yes i get the lecture but atleast she doesnt make me return it.
  20. this reminds me of one of the old islanders sets, i think it was called skull island or something. looks like a great start though. cant wait to see the rest of it does the skull face looking thing move at all? maybe ad some sort of chain mechanism to lift it or rotate it like a doorway. whats the purpose of your castle?
  21. i apologize, i was trying to deep link it but was confused as to which button to use. i beleive ive got it fixed. by the way how do i get a photo to show up instead of just a link in my entry reply?
  22. This is my entry for the series 6 minifigure viginette contest. category A Minifigure: Bandit Theme: Western Description:The Bandito has been caught finally and has to pay for his crimes in the small lonely town of Tumble Weed. Fortunately for him though his fellow bandit is there to rescue him . EXPLANATION: I was going for a reality/ movie look, which would include the "Lover", "sherrif","doctor", "hangman", and "fellow outlaw". The devil/ demon looking guy has been waiting patiently, following the bandits every move, knowing one day his time would come to collect his soul. Will he be able to get it today? Thats for the Bandits buddy to decide. Bandito, western by branobrick, on FlickrThanks for looking. Hope it was suspenseful for you!
  23. i love how the wolf bandit is sneakily waiting to steal the goods. your what would have additions are simply fantastic. these sets were always my favorite as a child. your sets add just that much more. keep up the wonderful work. look forward to more.
  24. well judging by the way the hasbro kre-0 has been selling here at my local toys r us and walmart and everyother store that carries it, it looks as though they are having a really hard time doing so. they are always on sale and much better sales than lego. plus the shelves are always full, where the lego supply is well not full. so im pretty sure that lego doesnt have to worry about anything. plus the plastic feels cheaper and the building techniques they use is less to be desired . once they buy one and see that its not lego quality, they will return.
  25. i get asked this question all the time by people that find out i build with LEGO. my first set was a very large set Set: 6235 Buried Treasure Year: 1989 http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream
