OK, now I must say I'm really lost. Despite all our efforts yesterday to follow the correct path and use the evidence our investigator found to help us get rid of one of the infected, it appears to have blown up in our faces. That said, we can at least be glad there were no killings in the night, that gives us a little more time at least. I don't really know what to do now, I followed the advice of our Investigator and his supporters yesterday because it seemed legitimate, but to have it turn out to be wrong is rather depressing. I think one question we need to keep in mind is, was it an innocent mistake, or was there something more sinister behind it? For the moment, I am fairly happy to go with thinking it was perhaps just an innocent mistake, but I would like to hear what the rest of you think. Barney, while it could potentially be fatal for you to have come forward like this, I think it is good that we now have the closure on who the investigator is, as it will make it easier for us to sort out this mess and hopefully find who the real infected people are. Perhaps we can still learn something from what you have to say. One thing that caught my attention was what you did last night. Can you tell us who this "anonymous" tip off was, or do you not really know? Clearly something is not adding up there. If you think the person who tipped you off was reliable, then perhaps you are simply getting the opposite results from your scans each night? I think if we can look into this a bit more first, then we might find a lead for today, it seems as good a starting place as any, and we need to make today as productive as possible. What say the rest of you?

Haha, very good Svelte, it doesn't look to bad with the dark red. Looks like Brick Beard doesn't need to worry after all.... It looks like such a different ship with just the colours and sails changed, they make quite a difference. Looks like I'll definitely need two now... Are you going to buy some extra cannons to fill out the spare ports? I always get annoyed having spare ports, and try and buy some extra cannons to fill them up on my ships. Always best when you have maximum fire power.

An excellent review as is to be expected, lots of great opinions and detailed photographs. The two different dresses are rather interesting, I wonder if this will have occurred in all the sets or only a select few? It would be interesting to see the torso done with the red design as well, it would probably make a nice figure too. Thanks for reviewing this, I for one very much appreciate your insightful and interesting articles. I'm looking forward to being able to get hold of a copy myself!

Barney, your argument for this vote sounds plausible to my ear, and I think going off the scenarios you have outlined, we will learn the most by voting off Sarah. From the way she is being so vague about her "condition", I think there is definitely something up, and it would be more beneficial to vote for her than anyone else at this point. We need to make a conviction today, and going off your logic and the claims of Michael on behalf of the investigator, I am willing to throw my support into voting off Sarah. It seems to me that getting rid of her will be the most valuable course of action for us in finding the infected amongst us. Vote: Sarah Once (Sir Dillon)

It's that time of year again, the time when Christmas parties are always on the go, with never a break. In this scene, we see a classic EB Christmas party in full swing. It's good to see a number of people were able to make it, along with several other interesting characters from various parts of EB. Matidoer Castle is ringing with the sound of merry laughter and festive holiday cheer. Enjoy.

This whole situation is becoming increasingly confusing, and while I am loath to vote for someone on the word of a supposed investigator who has to use someone else to report their finds, it would appear that it is the only "real" information we have to go off. That said, I would like to hear a bit more of what everyone has to say before deciding to vote; we do have a bit of time after all. We need to consider the possible good and bad outcomes of our vote today before making a decision, that way we can hopefully avoid the consequences that often result from a hasty or rash decision. From what our Head of Security has said, he seems very confident in this investigator who has contacted him, so far as to say that if Sarah here turns out to uninfected, he will take full responsibility for his actions. With that sort of an outlook, I am inclined to believe he is telling the truth, or at least the version of it that he believes to be truth, as making a false statement like that would be suicide for him tomorrow. With that reasoning, I do believe we may be able to trust his word, assuming he hasn't been duped. What thoughts do the rest of you have on this? I think we should discuss our course of action together first so we don't make any mistakes, however I do believe we need to take action today and reach a majority vote, so the talk will need to be fairly brisk. We cannot afford to waste another day, as the infected are slowly but surely reducing our numbers, unfortunately.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"
Dragonator replied to Legoman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Hey guys, the Lego store in the Johnsonville Foodcourt is simply all the spill-over stock from the Toyworld just outside the mall. They are most likely renting the space just for the busy Christmas period. They have all the normal stock, and have 50% off a limited number of Indy sets as well, so it would be worth visiting during the open hours if you want to get a good deal. All other prices were standard Toyworld prices from what I could see, although I noted that the Death Star has been marked up to $900 now. -
Goodness, this dragon is most definitely jealous right now. A sealed bag of cypress trees, unbelievable. I bet they smell new too... no chew marks, no discolouration... I recently bought two Indy sets at 50% off, the Fighter Plane Attack, which completes my Indy collection, and a second copy of the Temple of the Crystal Skull, which is a very nice set for parts alone at that price. I also bought the 8016 Hyena Droid Bomber set and the 8015 Assassin Droids Battle Pack, both at 16% off. Now I'm on the lookout for a nicely-priced Home-One set.

It's good to see our night killer took out one of the infected last night, god job whoever that is. It would be great if we could keep that up, particularly considering they are still killing the rest off us off slowly during the night... With Jad Suur turning out to be infected, it makes me a bit more confident in my decision not to cast the convicting vote for you yesterday Florentzia. While I still don't trust you entirely of course, I do not think we need worry about you too much unless something else comes up to point to you as a possible infected. Lots of interesting things being said here, I don't really know what to think at the moment. Since we have a bit of time before actual voting begins, I think this issue with Barney and the Lieutenant Commander needs some discussion. Now that is certainly interesting, but can you be certain of the truth in what your contact has told you? If so, then we might have our first shred of evidence... Well at least we're starting to get somewhere, in a round about way.

I could probably arrange a pumpkin pie... Oh yes, a story! What an excellent idea! I have heard you tell some excellent stories, you have such a rich family to talk about, so I have heard. Or perhaps you could recount for us one of your more interesting clients?

Well since Amelia is over in the master bedroom, perhaps I will take a look at that history book instead. This must be a popular place if it has had several books written about it, I wonder what could possibly make for such interesting reading? Perhaps rumours of this treasure... Dear me, that time already? Perhaps we should think about eating or something, I'm starving. And wasn't there a figure up here? Where did his Lordship go? So many questions, and we seem to be having such a hard time answering any of them.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"
Dragonator replied to Legoman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Is this Farmers sale Thursday only, or will it run through the weekend too, do you think? Not sure I'll be able to get out to one tomorrow. 40% off Indy is mighty tempting. -
Umm, err.... Somebody help!?

I entirely agree here my friend. While I can agree that her attitude may be a bit off, I'm just not sure enough that she is infected to be the one to cast the condemning vote. I would hate to have that sort of blood on my hands. Figuratively speaking, of course. I agree that we need to do something, otherwise the infected will get us, or we will all die in the blackhole, but it is just so frustrating being in a situation like this where we could very well be making a mistake. Florentzia seems fairly clean to me, if a little hasty in pointing the finger, but then, so does Jad Suud, despite some of his ramblings, so really I just don't have a clue. Some evidence would be nice, but alas, we can never seem to find enough of that... I do not wish to vote at this point, but I will not try and convince any of the rest of you either way, as I myself am as yet undecided as to my opinion of Florentzia.

For the last time, just because my skin tone makes me look remarkably like an earthly vegetable and my cradle occasionally lets out sparks is no reason for you all to keep calling me that, it's so demeaning. I guess cracking jokes at the flying head is one way to relief the stress of the situation, but still...
-
Oh no, not our dear Pilot! Losing him and the mechanic just as we are informed that the engines are down and there is a black hole approaching really doesn't bode well for our survival. This is starting to sound more and more like one of those nightmare simulations they give us in Space Academy. You know, the ones nobody is ever expected to pass... Right, well we won't get out of this mess by crying about it I guess. I'm sure between the rest of us we have enough skills to fix up the engines in time, so our main worry is disposing of the rampaging wieners on board. In terms of the night events, I am tending to agree with Florentzia, it would make the most sense to me if one of the killers was an infected, and the other was either an uninfected who got it wrong, or else someone who is on a different agenda and just wants to kill us all for their own personal gain.

Infection - Confirmation & Discussion
Dragonator replied to Quarryman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I think you will find that's a player rule; the game host can do whatever he damn well pleases to. Within reason, of course. -

Oh cool, thanks Hound Knight. What a neat item, I look forward to seeing the pictures. -

Some neat new things there, thanks for finding these LuxorV, they look great! Good work Armothe, I'll be sure to get a few of these at some point or another. I noticed one other weapon too which hasn't got a picture yet and which I hadn't seen before, the Rogue Biter, whatever that is. -
What I'm getting at is that I think I'll die of old age before I reach that damn library at the end of the hall!
-
Father Clarence walks slowly towards the library with Mr. Baker, wondering what they will find, and if they will find it before he passes into the embrace of the Almighty Lord through natural causes...
-
Yes, that sounds like where I would like to go too. I'll accompany Mr. Baker in his search of the library, best if we don't go off alone. It is a strange thing, but many of these old houses don't seem to be built with bathrooms...
-
Um, oh dear, not this again. I would say we'd all be happy to leave you both alone together as per the usual, but this really isn't the time...
-
Dearest Lord, what have we done to deserve this trial? Another one of us dead, and we still don't seem any closer to solving this case. It appears we didn't get the killer like we thought, and he or she is still here among us... For myself, I was watching Lord Athranhart there to see if he did anything, and I had it confirmed to me that he did indeed interact with Florence during that time, but I'm not sure if he did anything else or not. Rather useless, really, considering almost all of us were doing something last night, but it confirms his story, I guess. I also asked to make an inspection of the floor around where I was punched for any sign of the book, but alas, I could not find it. How strange. As you can see, I certainly don't have it, and we know it disappeared some time during the blackout downstairs, as I dropped it when I was punched in the gut, and we couldn't find it afterward. I don't see how anyone else could have got in since the door at the top of the stairs was closed, however it was dark and there was a lot of confusion, so I guess anything could have happened. I still don't really know who punched me.

Spanish Imperial Galleon - Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion
Dragonator replied to Bonaparte's topic in Pirate MOCs
Wow, great work you guys! That looks fantastic. You've used some nice colour variation which makes this stand out from all the plain brown ships we see, and the attention to detail is very fine, particularly with the sails and rigging, and those lovely angled sides. The lanterns are very cool, A nice use of parts there. I like how the hull has been made particularly, some very fine work there. I'm loving the angling of the sides around the bow too, there some great techniques to be seen all over this creation.
