  1. *cough* Thanks sir, I'll protect you from the evil demons of death when they come. I'll stop swinging it around now since I don't want to hurt everyone, I think I better carry it around and get you all to touch it since Sheldon thinks it is a good idea. He seems the knowledgeable type on this sort of thing, comes of being a musician I guess. Come with me Sheldon and let's see if we can find some demons.
  2. I ain't letting any demons near my darling wife! I'll carry it around the group and get everyone to touch it if you like, that will work. This sure is a beauty. No match for you of course, honey.
  3. Diesel is happily swinging the sword around, striking dramatic and heroic poses. What's that? Oh, it seems sharp, looks brand new to me. Odd that, considering it has supposedly been in this temple for hundreds of years...
  4. Oh me goodness, let me see that! Diesel grabs the sword Well well, this is very interesting, isn't it? Let's take a look at this sword for any unusual markings and signs of age. I never knew ancient stuff could be so handsome and utterly masculine! Much like me.
  5. Oh oh, let's put the other two on top no! Exactly what I was thinking Sylvia, very good work. I'm glad none of us mind moving with the rocks.
  6. Very well presented Pedro, good job. This looks like it will be a fun game for all. And what's this? Something on the frontpage, perhaps?

  9. That parchment looks very interesting, I wonder what it means? I think we'll take the two middle stones in the arrangement Sylvia made and put them in the way they are shown here, so that they create a V shape. Then we'll see what happens. Oh this is fun, yay for messing around with the ruins.
  10. Diesel looks up from his private moment with the smooth hunky stones. Oh yes, you are right! They must have fallen out some time recently since the stone is so smooth in the indentation. I'll help you I guess, but don't you start your feeling again Mr Security. I feel very vulnerable right now, must just be the dark, spooky forest and the mist... Let's shift these around, I'm sure nobody will mind. Looks pointedly at William.
  11. My, these tablets are interesting, they must have had some long-forgotten significance we can only dream about now. They are pretty funky, aye? Looks to me like they probably had some niche somewhere that they belonged in, probably long gone now with all the damage and erosion. Quite sad, that, this place would have been a beauty for sure. Interesting how smooth some of this building is, considering the erosion to the rest of it. I think I'll take a closer look at those pillars and the smooth-looking surfaces, and run my hands over them to see if it feels natural or has been cleaned/buffed with something. It could be that they had been covered by something for a time. This wall behind the 4 tablets appears remarkably smooth...
  12. Well, looks like we made it then. I am looking forward to seeing the moon, should be romantic, aye hun? These ruins are sort of neat, I can see why William there is rather taken by them I guess. They have an eerie feeling to them, hard to describe really...
  13. I too think that enough is enough. There has been a lot of confusion recently over who to vote for and who we suspect, and I think it is time we stopped that confusion at its root. Mr. Right, under the guise of trying to "get things moving", has spread confusion and dissension through this town, with his numerous accusations based on absolutely nothing. To be honest, I think we will learn the most from killing Mr. Right today, and it is my belief that we will also snatch our first mobster. So without further ado: Vote: Mathew Right (Sandy) I sincerely hope that this is the right choice...
  14. I'm sorry, but there is no way this site could have killed your computer. Mentioning the lose of your schoolwork probably wasn't a good move either. Now that this is all answered, no point it letting it hang around to fill up with crap... Closed.
  15. Bob and D_L, while it is good you are both conferring about your game, perhaps squabbling in the game thread is not the best idea. Leave that to the players, ok? Thanks.
  16. Woohoo! All aboard the Emerald Express ladies and gentlemen, we're going for a ride! Eggos all around from your favourite chef! Grim adventures await in the dark Shadows of train tech... Good to see this forum out in the open, I've always had a thing for trains myself and look forward to reading some of these topics out in the light!
  17. Well this is useless. We are in no better position than we were in yesterday. Although I should say we all learned a fair bit, so hopefully we will be able to reach a decision today. That national guard was a waste of time by the way, they didn't help us at all. Well, no point in asking if anyone learned anything useful last night, because nobody had the chance. So now I guess we sit and wait for lunch and the voting.
  18. Welcome back Trexxen, glad to see you around again. We missed you in Mafia, we were worried something untoward had happened after you disappeared in Galactic Paranoia. Great to have you back on the boards, I'm sure you will find lots of new and exciting things to look at, and if you are ever interested in coming back to play some Mystery or Mafia, you know where to find us.
  19. I'd just like to add my personal best wishes to everyone for the New Year, 2009 has been a great success for the site and for Lego, and I am looking forward to that continuing in 2010. Good on you Eurobricks.
  20. I too will not be voting for Mr. Willis; I have read over what he and the rest of you have had to say, and it is my belief that he is simply trying to solve this mystery like the rest of us. Irrational voting for the first person who voices a theory you don't like is a sure way for us to all get killed by the Mafia. I believe in what Mr. Willis says, even if that may make me look bad in some of your eyes right now, but it is my firm belief that those of you who are voting have either been duped or have alternative motives for trying to take out Mr. Willis. I may be a simple farmer, but I can see when something doesn't add up and when people are making a terrible mistake. I do not think Mr. Willis has been at all maliciously deceitful, rather it would appear that he has been attempting to make sense of the current situation going off the little evidence that we have. If that is a crime, then it is news to me. I cannot see any real reason for us to be voting for Mr. Willis other than the assertions of one very fiery gentleman, and at this current moment I do not feel comfortable to do so, nor do I think it is the right course of action. In such matters of life and death, I do not believe simply "going with the crowd" will achieve anything worthwhile, rather we must each think logically for ourselves and make the best judgments we can on the evidence and the observations we have made over the past few days. Now, if you will excuse me, I have some vegetables that need attending to. Perhaps when the rest of you can make some sense of this situation I might be more inclined to vote.
  21. Hello again Mörs, I have once again changed your deeplinked images to standard links, as they are well over our maximum picture size limit of 800x600. Please resize these before putting the images back. Once again, I would suggest reading over the site guidelines on image sizes. Thanks, and please don't do this again.
  22. Oh that is a lovely MOC, good job Infomaniac. I love the detailing of the room, not to much but enough to hold interest. I like the use of angled walls and the tiled floor. The arch above the stained glass window is particularly nice, as is the window itself. It looks like you have used coloured transparent 1x2 plates in places to hold the whole thing together, am I right? The subject matter is quite hilarious too, you got a little chuckle out of me. A very fine MOC, nice work.
  23. I wanna ice cream! ... Hey! He stole ma choccy! Gimme dat! ... Where's ma ice cream! ... Are we there yet? *cough*
  24. Things are not looking good for us at all, 5 townies dead already, and we are yet to see any results. We must convict a Mafia member today! From what we have seen it is clear to me that the vigilante is most likely a serial killer, and even if they are with the town they aren't exactly helping us. At least we can be certain it was the Mafia that killed Martin, and the "other" that killed young Mary. So sad to see one so young ending her days in the confines of such a horrible place... *shudders* I would like to hear a bit more of the Mayor's reasoning for voting for Mary yesterday, as it was very weak in my opinion.
