Revenge of the Forestmen (with dwarf assist)
Dragonator replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is great work I Scream Clone, well done! I can see that you have put a lot of thought into this, it looks very nice. You have carried out the landscaping well, and I like those three trees, they are reminiscent of another MOC! That is very fun. The minifigs have been placed well to give some good action shots, and the accompanying story is cool! One detail I really like is the little cistern that the water is flowing out of, that is a very nice detail! -
Bronze Greek Armour Sets Avaliable
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks for the update Armothe, I look forward to buying heaps of the new stuff! Are the red plumes still going to be available? According to your list they've been discontinued... -
Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for the interest! We still need a minimum of 2 more people, although preferably 4, and a maximum of 6. First in first served. -
That would be a perfume bottle. I can't wait to see the first instalment of this SirNadroj, the characters all look fun and I can foresee that there is going to be some good stuff coming!

Eurobricks Clone Wars Building Contest
Dragonator replied to Clonecommando007's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Thanks that makes sense. Right so if I bought 250 Clone Trooper Battle Packs and 250 Droid Battle Packs and built a huge battle scene with them, then that would be OK? Not that I would do that of course... The reason I asked was because I didn't know whether you meant clones and droids or if you meant something else. Thanks for clearing that up! Can we have original characters that don't appear in the movies, such as a random civilian caught in the middle of a cross-fire? (that's only an example by the way ) I understand the bit with no stormies or rebels though, that is pretty obvious, even to a wannabe fan like me! I'll see what I can come up with. -
Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for all the interest! For this to run proberly though, we still need at least 3 more players, and preferably 7 more. So go tell your mates! I am getting there with the first day's initial ideas, I just need to finish typing out everyone's character description. Man this takes a lot of work. Once we have enough interest, I will send you a PM asking you to post your conformation in the conformstion thread. Once you have confirmed you will be sent your character. The game will begin once everyone has confirmed! For those of you that are new to this game, I will post some guidelines as well as the story in the first day's thread. Thanks once again, and I look forward to the start of the game! -
Eurobricks Clone Wars Building Contest
Dragonator replied to Clonecommando007's topic in Watto's Junkyard
This sounds like a fantastic competition, and I would love to take part! I do have one question though, and I'm going to sound really stupid asking it.... What do you mean by Clone Wars? Yes I know, point and laugh at the guy who's only seen the movies. I usually contain my expertise to dragons and such. I understand there is a TV show or something, is that the era this is based around? Or can it be based around EP II? So can there be droids as well as clone troopers? (Would it be worth buying 250 clone trooper packs? ) Sorry if this sounds like a really dumb question, but I'm a little confused, not being entirely up with my Star Wars faniness. If some kindly person could give me some answers then that would be very much appreciated, and then we shall never mention this again... Thanks very much everyone! -
I don't suppose you went to the Toyworld on the Kapiti Coast? I was there for a while today, spending up large. I didn't take my model out in the end though, as I decided it was too big and there was to much chance of someone trying to pinch the minifigs.

Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
To offer some help, when I make the confirmation thread I shall post the opening storyline, some general rules so you don't all get confused, and a list of characters. Whether you want to keep your identity a secret in the game will be entirely up to you! (although past players suggest that the fastest way to be convicted is to give away your role... ) We still need at the least 6 more players, with a maximum of 10 more. After that, I'm sorry to anyone who missed out. So sign up now people! Once there is enough interest I will post the conformation thread. -
Glad to hear you got it! And on the subject of bulk buying... Today I went out to Toyworld to collect my prize. What fun. I ended up spending a huge amount though, as they had a 20% off sale... Firstly, I got 8272 as my prize; it is the technic snowmobile. Beautiful design. Next, onto the spending... 7627 Temple of the crystal skull 7626 Jungle Cutter 7741 Police Helicopter (an impulse buy) Plus, at the amazing price of $15 down from $25: 5x 7655 Clone Troopers Battle Pack 2x 7654 Droids Battle Pack Yes, it doesn't seem like much, but it was a big spend for me and has almost cleaned me out... I also picked up the castle set from last year with the dock and skellie boat; can't remember the number sorry. It doesn't have a box, and I am going to get the instructions when I pay for it. It was used as the store display, but is in great condition and hasn't been glued or anything (the store owner is an AFOL and wouldn't like that ). I got it for a good price too. Right, that plus my current bricklink orders are probably all my spending for the next month or so, at the least!

What faction from Castle do you represent?
Dragonator replied to Dovchenko's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Oh yes I have them all! So now you are saying I can be represented by a building? That makes no sense. A building is still a building whether it is occupied by crownies or skellies. Lego has included dragons as being grouped with certain factions. But this does not mean that they want these dragons always be on those sides etc. We just have to use a little imagination. In reality, there are not just three dragons, but hundreds, some of which are enslaved, and some of which are free. One or two of them may even be working with the crownies or skellies because they want too. This does not change the fact that they are an entirely different race. Orcs and skellies can work together, just like crownies and dwarfs can. Does this make them the same? NO. And the same goes for dragons. We just have to remember that there is always going to be more than three dragons, it is up to our imaginations. It is fine for you to group a dragon with the crownies or skellies if that is who they are fighting with, however it is wrong to say that they are not a different species or 'race'. They are intelligent beings, and can make their own decisions. Who cares what Lego says? It is for us to interpret that. My interpretation is that dragons are a separate faction and deserve to be recognised as such. Saying a dragon is a human is the same as saying a horse is a human, it is not true. I bet if horses were a bit more intelligent, they would object to being grouped with a bunch of humans too. -
Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
That's unfortunately been paused for a few months my friend... Which is why there is no reason people can't join this! Well it looks like there is going to be lots of support, so I will start work on the setting/characters/plot etc. Lots of work for me! We will need some more players still however, so keep showing your interest people! -
What faction from Castle do you represent?
Dragonator replied to Dovchenko's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Your right, they're not as free as I would like, not at all! The skellies and crownies have forced these dragons into their service, which is not a good thing at all! What I'm trying to get at though is that dragons are their own faction. They do not need to be grouped with anyone else, even if they come in the sets with certain other factions. Think of it this way; trying to say that dragons and crownies are one faction or group, is the same as trying to say that the Black Falcons and the Dragon Knights are one faction or group. Get it now? So what if the elves also come with dragons; the dragons are not elves! They are separate! Very different! A faction in their own right! Oh, and as for your two options, I would prefer neither. Those dragons are enslaved, which mean they are not part of that faction. That is the same as trying to say that the imprisoned wolfpack soldier is part of the Black Knights faction because he came as their prisoner in the Black Knights Castle set. It is not true! And neither is it true that a dragon is a crownie, or a dragon is a skellie. If I were to vote crownie, I would be voting for the people, not the dragons right? So I want to vote DRAGONS! Yes those three dragons you have mentioned are enslaved, however there are hundreds of others elsewhere that are not. And you wouldn't say that they are crownies, would you? No, they are dragons. Sorry if I sound a little aggressive, but when it comes to this topic, everyone needs to see my way. EDIT: Nice avatar by the way. -
Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for all the replies guys! I appreciate your interest! These games have a tradition of not having extrememly clear rules. That kind of helps the fun of it. I will put up some rules and guidelines at a later date. Oh yes. But it's OK, your a different sort of crazy old wizard. Thanks for your interest! When I say pre-assigned characters, I mean it in exactly the same way it has been done in all the other games. You are given a position, a name, and if applicable a night action, with some small description with it. The rest is entirely up to your interpretation! So you are not 'forced' to play a role, but you are given a certain side and character to play as, however that characters decisions and personality etc are entirely up to you. If you could just do what you liked and pick your side, then this wouldn't really work. Basically I mean it in the same way it has been done in the other two games. By the way, if anyone wants an idea on how to play, they can check out the other two games by doing a quick search. This game will have some differences, but those other games will give you a good idea on where to begin. -
Nice work WhiteFang, your banner looks great, and I can see you've put a lot of effort into the pictures of your characters. Solid effort. And also nice work on the map TinyPiesRUs, I look forward to your future stories with your new characters! Now everyone, make sure you all join Mystery Castle, the next big thing on EB! Or at least I would like to think so...

(Discussion in main thread) Other Behind the Scenes - A flashback of all the scenes. ORIGINAL POST: Hear ye, hear ye! Lords and Ladies, after collaboration with some very helpful Admins, I am honoured to announce the beginning of a new interactive game on EB. Many of you will have played the Roman Mafia and it's predecessor the Western Mafia; this game is to take this style of play to a whole new level! It will involve puzzles, mystery, a crazy old wizard, and pictorial content! So now, it is up to you, the EB community, to decide if this game is to be a success. Right, enough of the town-crier talk, on to the good stuff. After the now extended pause of the Roman Mafia, I have felt a big hole in the EB community, and that is an interactive game! So after talking with some admins, I present to you this one, I hope that there will be enough interest to get it off the ground! I am looking for a minimum of 12 players with a maximum of around 20 (although this could be up for change, but that is your decision). If you are interested then it may take around a week to get all sorted as there is a lot of plot work as well as MOCing to go into it. I want to know if there will be enough interest first however, before I go to the trouble of doing all the work! Here is an exert from the starting story post: Right, so that is the basic setting. There will be two groups of player, mainly to avoid confusion. They are the Loyalists and the Traitors (aptly named ). Participants will be randomly assigned to one of these groups, and will receive a specific character, with more information in the starting thread. For those of you unfamiliar with these games, the idea is to vote on a person to be executed that day. The aim, depending on your side, is to defeat the other team (specifics later). No member will know another members role unless they stupidly give it away. IMPORTANT: Please only show your interest if you are actually serious about committing yourself to posting in the game, otherwise it is unfair on the other participants. I do not like people who say they will do something and then don't stick to their commitment. If you do sign up and don't post, don't be surprised when a dragon comes to call. More on the general rules, characters, and other info will come later. If you have any comments, criticism or questions, then please, post away! This will be a learning experience for me as well, I just hope I'm not biting off more than I can chew! I look forward to your feedback and if you don't sign up then I will set a dragon or two on you. ~Dragonator EDIT: Please note that all names are for MC purposes only and are in no way intended to be interpreted as those characters, either alive or dead, seen in other games (especially the EB RP ). Some slight resemblances may be seen however.

Very nice iamded, I think you should definitely keep him!

Good to have you back! I look forward to your map, go right ahead and post it, nobody else has so you may as well take the initiative. And I also hope you will take part in a certain up coming castle game that will be announced later this week. It's all hush hush at the moment though.

Wow that was unexpected! I just refreshed my browser and thought I had somehow got into the Theatre forum. Go Indy! Now I'm going to need to go buy all the rest of the sets I'm missing this weekend. Lucky I ordered those 100 ants. And staff, you are amazing, well done on the banners! (I presume that was Hinckley, so good job. )

Custom Printed Fabric Elements
Dragonator replied to Lamanda2's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Ah, yes, I probably spent more than I should have, but it is quality stuff and worth the price. I haven't received the invoice yet, but when it arrives I will settle it all up. Ah a pitty. I think you should make it your definite focus to get as many dragon designs out there as possible. No but seriously, I love all your designs, which is why I was depressed that some of those new 'royal' pieces were sold out. I'll get them in my next order. Alos, I like many of your own designs. Was that holy order one your own design? It is very nice, I might get myself some of those as well, I can just thimk of them as being some sort of extremist religion bent on world domination. Not if me and my dragons get there first though! What, no more sale!? Lucky I already made my order! To anyone else, get in there now, before it's to late! -
Bronze Greek Armour Sets Avaliable

Well that was short lived, they're out of stock again now. Let's hope they get more back in soon! -
M10 Dromindur; The Ravine The Battle Begins... (Part 2) The battle continued to rage between the two sides, with the dragon knight's being pushed back into the Red Valiant Spearmen. The scorpion knight hordes poured through the tower doors onto the bridge, fighting back the outnumbered dragon knights. Dragonator turned to Lord Calvin. There are no other ways over there unless you go through the southern gate, over the bridge and around. There is fighting there at the moment, but we will send your spearmen that way later to help, and they should hopefully be able to get right around if they break the enemies ranks. Their spears will be much more effective there. Otherwise at the moment the only way over is via the bridge, which is a little jammed up. Right. Our archers are still fighting strong though. And this was so. As they were speaking, an arrow found it's mark and shot down one of the advancing scorpion knights. Oh, good shot I say! That is right Marcus, but try to control your excitement. Sorry my Lord. However, casualties continued to fall on both sides. Oh yes, I crack myself up! Hehe, falling, isn't that funny? No, not really... Right, I'll just get on with the narration then... This particular fellow was a little to hasty in throwing that last man over the edge, and ran himself straight into the Red Valiant force spears. Nasty. Man that looks bad, can we have another shot please? Yeah sure, here's a closer one. Man that looks awesome! Look at it sticking into his eye! Good job on the set up! Thanks, you know that took me almost 15 minutes to get right, things kept falling over. Hang on, how are you talking to me? You know, I have no idea. Maybe because I am you. Great, now I've started I'm still talking to myself. Ahem, anyway. Lord Dragonator surveyed the scene with a look of satisfaction. Right, things look to be going well. Withdraw the spearmen and have them make their way to the southern gate. We should get some more swordsman from there soon. In the meantime, it looks like the dwarfs and us are going to have to do some fighting. Are you guys ready? Oh we sure are! Good. Now- Wait, look, who's that up there? Ah, the enemy general shows his face at last...
