  1. As I said earlier, it is now to late to join as all the available spots have been taken. Sorry you missed out, but there will be other games in future.
  2. Yes, you shall all submit t my will... The character descriptions have now been sent out to all those that have confirmed they are playing. Once the last 5 people have confirmed, the game will begin. I hope to start sometime tomorrow, so please confirm now!
  3. I'm really sorry but yes it is. I will put you on the reserves list however; kill will is the only other person on it. If two people for some reason drop out then you have the opportunity to take over from them, but I find it unlikely they will. Sorry you missed out, but you can always play in my next game.
  4. That's a great decal, truly sick indeed! The comic was good too, very funny, it implies a lot. Good job, I look forward to seeing more from you in future.
  5. It doesn't really matter. The rule is up to one stud, of course it doesn't have to be exactly one stud! You just build whatever you want to, as long as it isn't a direct violation of the rules then there shouldn't be any problems. For example if you have a flower stalk sitting on a stud right next to the edge, then that is perfectly fine. The "one stud" rule is simply to stop people from building huge creations balanced on an 8x8 plate and then calling it a vignette.
  6. Thanks to everyone who has confirmed, we are only waiting on a couple more people (and for me to make the graphics, you might have to do without for the first day). Well, if you really want to play I can make another spot for you. It means I have to create another character though. Oh matrimony... Yes, you can play in the last spot. You are lucky I haven't sent out characters to anyone yet, otherwise it would be obvious who you are. Um, nice of you to confirm, but I'm not sure if you signed up to play... Flatfoot Thompson got the last spot, I can only have a maximum of 21 players, any more is to many. I will however keep you on the reserves list; if someone for some unthinkable reason decides they are going to stop playing, then you can have that spot. Thanks for your interest however! MUHAHAHA!!!! You have sealed your doom! Oh, and for your question, I wont be so favourable to those who don't appreciate the greatness of dragons, so they should watch their backs. Anyone who doesn't love dragons is obviously a traitor. Bias? Who said anything about bias? I'm not biased...
  7. I received my order today, these new elements are fantastic! Thanks so much! I like the new flag designs, and the longer capes look very good on the figures. I think I might do a review sometime soon. And also thanks for the dragon banners you sent me, they are lovely and definitely one of my favourites. As a special thank you I'm going to use them in a MOC I'll be building over the next few weeks for the Mystery Castle game; I'll let you know when it's done. Thanks again, I look forward to whatever new stuff you have in store for us!
  8. I don't like the sound of that, I better go read it to see what I'm up against... EDIT: Ah huh. Not to bad. But the writer definitely got some things wrong. He got some things right though, like dragons love gold, as well as any shiny and/or precious objects. However I don't like the way dragons have been treated in this little story. It's not their faults they're in love with gold. It's just in their nature. I would go on but I'm supposed to be working on an English Research paper, so I'll stop... ...for now...
  9. L7 Dragons Keep Quarryman was having a pretty normal day. As usual he had insulted the lord of the keep and the almighty dragons. But that was OK with him, he didn't mind. But other people did. Fly my pretties, fly!! Out of nowhere a pair of noble dragons swooped down on the unsuspecting Quarryman, and tore him limb from limb. He didn't even have time to scream as flame consumed what remained of his mangled body. And so end the chronicles of Quarryman, insulter of dragons. Oh yes, very murderous indeed. You have been confirmed (as have the rest of you by the way).
  10. Thanks for confirming, although I'm not ready to send out your role yet. Confused? Excellent. If you are confused, just send me a PM and I'll explain it to you.
  11. It appears you were to quick for me and got in beforeI made the other thread! Please post your confirmation in the other one, and have a good read of the rules too. I'll mark you down as confirmed though, thanks for your eagerness! Entry has now officially closed, so sorry to anyone who has missed out. PMs have been sent out, please make sure you confirm that you are playing!
  12. Please read carefully before you start posting in the game. This is reserved for players only. ****** The castle of Dragons Keep has for years been ruled by King Dracus, a wizened old man, slightly cuckoo, who really is not up to ruling the castle, let alone the kingdom. Last night, the king was murdered in his bed by a group of activists who want to take control of the keep for themselves. Lord Dragonator, fearing for the lives of the people of the kingdom, wants the traitors found and executed as quickly as possible. As an act of quick thinking he has locked down the castle so nobody can enter or leave until either the traitors are found and executed or the loyalists are outnumbered and defeated. He has decided that as nobody can trust anyone else, voting will occur to try and find who is guilty. The future of the kingdom is in your hands! Lord Dragonator has also added one extra twist in that nobody is to know who anyone else is! Each person is to have their memories altered by the castle wizard so they cannot remember the appearance of any of the other characters. Each person is then assigned a code name (this is your EB username). This is to prevent any bias towards certain people in the keep, so that everyone voting, from servants to Lords and Ladies, are all on an equal footing (also to avoid confusion). Each person will of course know who they are, and may share this with the entire group at their own discretion, and may even use their character true names if they so desire. The only person present in the discussions who seems to know who everyone is will be the wizard Majiko. He is slightly crazed and very forgetful, but should sometimes be able to help with certain things. Of course, he could just as easily give you false or misleading information, so be weary of what he says, he is not always rights. Be wary of others, people are never who they appear to be... The real mystery is though, how did the king die? As you uncover more evidence it will be easier to catch the traitors, but will you make it in time? Only you can decide! *insert dramatic music* ****** General Rules There are two groups, the loyalists and the traitors. Each day you must vote for someone to be executed. Players are to do this by posting vote: (insert name here). To un-vote, simply post unvote: (insert name here). For someone to be sentenced to death, a majority vote is required, for example, if there are 15 players left, then 8 votes are needed; if there are 8 players left, then 5 votes are needed. The traitors know who each other are, however the loyalists do not. For the traitors to win they must outnumber the loyalists. For the loyalists to win they must kill all the traitors. A day will last a maximum of 5 days, or until someone has been condemned. Night will then begin, and will last for 2 days. During this time, those with night actions may chose to use them, at their own discretion. Then day will start again and the cycle resumes. As stated earlier, to avoid confusion, use your EB usernames in the discussion. Your character name is a secret at the start of the game. It is up to you whether you want to give away information about yourself. Majiko will make it that little bit harder by occasionally giving some information away for you, otherwise nobody would ever get convicted! It is up to you however to play your cards right to stay in the game. You may of course use your character name if you so wish too, it will all depend on how the discussions go. -Only players are allowed to reply in this thread. -You must contribute! If you sign up but do not take part, then I will think of a fitting punishment (probably blowing your cover or having you accidentally die). -There is to be no editing of posts. -PMs from me are not to be directly quoted, nor is it allowed to give away your character in this way. The information may however be discussed, but no material may be brought into the game environment. -Try to always post in character; questions etc can be sent to me by PM. -Once you are dead you may no longer post in the game. -The game is not to be discussed outside of the current day's thread unless with me via PM. All other communication except in the story is forbidden unless you are told otherwise. -Once a day has ended there is to be no more posting. Anyone found to be breaking these rules should not be surprised to find a dragon turn up and try to eat them. 13. Owe you!? I don't "owe" you anything! As I recall it was a favour. Then again, I guess Lord Calvin did help with defending Dromindur, so I'll think about it. (Just give me some time to get another post sorted! )
  14. Have a look here. Once the confirmation and rules thread goes up in a few hours, no more people will be admitted. I can possibly make another character if someone else wishes to play, but no more than one more person. Please let me know ASAP if you want to be that lucky winner!
  15. Don't worry, I didn't mean anything by it...
  16. Thanks you everyone! That takes the total too 20, as The Brickster has also shown his interest. I may be able to stretch to one more place if there is anyone else desparately interested, but after that, no more! So get in quick! I will be sending a PM to you all in a few hours.
  17. Ah yes, that almost slipped my mind... My apologies if the text wasn't up to standard... I'm trying to get all the other stuff prepared for the Mystery Castle game, which will start in the next few days.
  18. The long awaited issue 3 is finally here! Yay! I'm going to have a good long read later tonight!
  19. I loved it! Great work, keep up the effort!
  20. Yes, yes yes yes yes yes!!! Of course you can play, especially since we need the numbers. If your dead by that point then it wouldn't matter anyway, and if not then I can always work it into the story. If the worst comes to the worst, then we could simply pause it for a week or two. But hopefully I can keep everyone entertained with something else. Thank you thank you thank you!!! Great, thanks for joining up! Now we have 16, it will be a little easier to run. In fact, much easier! I still have 4 more spaces that ideally need filling though, so if there are still any interested people, please sign up now! If not, then I will set up the confirmation thread tomorrow, and the game will begin!
  21. Um. OK, I can't think of anything to defend myself with here. Lets just say I was in a hurry and decided to give some play by play action rather than long chunks of text. Yes, beleive it if you will... Oh, and I fired the announcer, I got this new guy in, with an interesting reference, said his name was Staudie or something...
  22. M10 Dromindur; The Ravine The Battle Ends The battle was ragging, with everyone fighting for their lives. It was for honour. Victory. Romance. A large tub of cream cheese. Would you get on with it!? Sorry. Ahem. The battle continued. With the success of the first encounter, Lord Dragonator had the spearmen withdraw off the bridge and make their way to the southern gate to fight there. The enemy took this opening as a chance to break the line, and surged across the bridge. Now everyone is fight in in an all out battle, with the future of the world balanced on the outcome. You know this isn't some big huge NZ-made movie (go Peter Jackson!)? You can stop the suspenseful talk any time you like. Oh don't you worry about that. Out on the bridge, the dwarfs and a lone dragon knight defended against the next attack. Meanwhile, the generals were fighting those who had already got through. I say, watch where you wave that spear! I'm a general you know! Lord Dragonator himself was in a fierce struggle with a particularly good scorpion knight. But nobody can out-match his Lordship. Why thank you. To those watching it appeared that his blade shone particularly bright, and the appearance of wild fire could be seen jumping joyfully along the blades edge, eager for the taste of flesh. Or perhaps that was only their imaginations. Meanwhile, out on the bridge the dwarfs were fighting hard, as Tyrius whacked one scorpion knight in the head. But look out for that guy sneaking up behind! The dragon knight has now very kindly pushed the dead body of the scorpion knight he stabbed earlier over the parapet, and is enjoying watching him fall. Suspense is building as Lord Dragonator raises his sword to strike the fearful soldier. Would you be quiet, I'm trying to concentrate! Sorry, I just wanted to be a bit more conversational in this post. Out on the bridge, the dwarfs teamed up to push the dazzled scorpion knight over the bridge, while another one raised his axe to cleave open Tyrius's head. The dragon knight stood transfixed as he watched a trail of blood disappear over the side, and the body splash into the water. Lucky for Tyrius, one of the archers was on to it, and shot the sneaky scorpion knight, who fell backwards towards the parapet. The dwarfs did not notice however, as they were watching the screaming flying man. Look at him go! After a slight delayed reaction due to the focus of attention being elsewhere, dragonator now brought his sword down onto the unhappy knight... (People of a younger nature and who are a little squeamish, please look away now) ...And cut off his head! Yay! Now looking around, it appeared that the enemy was all dead. The enemy is all dead! No, there are still more on the other side. We will be ready... As they were talking, something started to make it's way out of the tavern. It was Adym, with the largest weapon he could find. Did I miss anything? Yeah I think it's just about over. Aww man... But was it all over? Somebody was climbing up on the tower, and everyone turned to look. Be ready people... But no, it was one of the spearmen that was sent to the south gate! We have won my Lords! We fought hard and managed to cut them off, and have successfully captured their general. They are coming over now. As he was speaking, some disarmed and captured scorpion knights, including an archer who had had his longbow confiscated and the general, were seen to be walking over the bridge. As the prisoners sat down, cheers went up all over the city, and weapons were waved in the air. Everyone was happy and jubilant at the victory (except for the defeated enemy of course). We have won a battle here today. But we must remember that a greater one awaits back at the keep. These men will be questioned, and then we shall take back what is ours! Whistling and cheering was heard at these words, and the festivities continued. The enemy general did not look happy though. The battle was won, but it must not be forgotten that many died, on both sides... (Yes, that was some of the worst plot ever written in human history, however I wanted to get the pitures out, and was in a bit of a hurry. )
  23. Right, I have another question. This is set before Ep III right? So can we use the Ep III clone troopers as seen in the battle packs, or would they have to be Ep II troopers, which not many people have? What do you think? Would it look better with Ep II troopers? Or should I instead use Ep III troopers (of which I have a much better supply)? In answer to Oky Wan Kenobi: From the description, a bignette is any scene larger than 8x8. So it could be from a 9x9 to a 23456150x4326056. Or even more, but that might get a little silly. At least that's how I see it anyway, correct me if I'm wrong.
  24. Well I assume everyone who has posted in this thread is going to play... But anyway, here's my list of people I'll be PMing: 1. Inertia 2. TinyPiesRUs 3. Hyphos 4. imperialshadows 5. WhiteFang 6. Lt. Veers 7. sdpirate 8. iamded 9. stash2sixx 10. I Scream Clone 11. Pencoin 12. Trexxen 13. Quarryman 14. Batbrick 15. 16. 17. 18. 19. 20. Could somebody please nag Hinckley into playing? Then we only need 5 more...
  25. Right, it seems we are still short a few players, but I will let this go ahead anyway. I originally designed it for 20 players, so I'm going to have to cut out some fun plot twists and things... Oh well. You know I had hoped Hinckley might play... (hint hint ). I will leave it one more day and then I'll send out the conformation PMs. Please confirm that you are playing by replying in the conformation thread. Once you have done this I will send you your character. If there are still people out there who want to play, you will be warmly welcomed, but please contact me ASAP! Thanks everyone.
