Don't feel to bad mate, I only own one black one... How did you know I would vote for the white one? That one just looks so... pure to me. It's a bit hard to describe. But really, I love them all! I wish I had more ninja sets, I only have one, the 6083 Samurai Stronghold which I picked up in an auction... The black one is also nice though in that it has a slightly different pattern, and is your stereotypical ninja/assassin character.

Right, I'll take that as a hint that I need more pretty pictures in the future. Edit my posts!? You wouldn't dare...

M10 Dromindur; The Ravine Dragonator sat in one of the plush chairs that the kingdom representatives had quickly evacuated for the greater safety of hiding under their beds. So the Keep has fallen... Yes my Lord, I am truly sorry. They hold the king and the court and I suspect Grim was catured along with Ragnir. They must have had some sort of dark wizard working with them as my powers were useless. Oh I wish Aluvar had stayed, I need his advice. What am I to do? Aluvar? He was here? Ah we really could hae done with his presence, especially with these scorpion knights about to attack the city any minute now. He would be able to help us, what with his influence new appointment as the Regul- Hush Majiko, your tongue runs away with you! Do not speak of such things here, where we do not know who is listening. Sorry my Lord. In the background, Adym could be seen stuffing his face with food, with 11 short dwarfs surrounding him doing likewise. Marcus, gather any men left here who wish to fight and meet me outside. The battle is about to begin. Walking outside, Dragonator surveyed who was left to guard the bridge after troops had been dispatched to all the other entrances to the city. Not many, but they will have to do... Meanwhile.... L7 Dragons Keep; The Throne Room Grim woozily awoke to find himself chained in a seat in the throne room. In front of him, former Councillor Scorpia sat upon the throne, with a dark wizard from Ankoria positioned nearby. In his arms was the baby dragon Nizbet, sitting quite contently looking at himself in the reflection of the wizards helmet. Damn this stupid staff, why wont it work!? Perhaps you are not destined to wield it. Let me- No! It is mine, and I shall figure it out myself thank you. I have already helped your kingdom this far, so just listen to me and I'll see you right. At that moment, Scorpia noticed that Grim was awake, and a small smiled flashed across his face. Grim, glad to see you awake. As you can see, I am now king of this city, so you should be bowing down to me. Do it. I will never bow to you. A pity. You know, there is no use resisting me. I have the city in my control, your king is sitting in a cell in the dungeons crying his poor little heart out, and I have this here baby dragon as a hostage to very effectively prevent any dragons coming to your rescue. Ragnir is chained up outside. Why when Lord Dragonator hears of this- Ha! Dragonator couldn't stop me now! Ah, could he? No, definitely not your great supreme excellency. Good, good. What are you doing to that dragon? He wont sit still! Well make him. Anyway, Grim, you are going to co-operate with me. Tell me what I need to do to control this staff or I will... do something you wont like. Hah, even if I knew I would never tell you. I think the only person who really knows would be Lord Dragonator. Why don't you call him in and ask him? Haha, yes, very funny. But that won't be happening. Guards! Take him to the cells. I will send down one of Ankoria's torturers to get these answers from him. As Grim was carried from the room, baby NIzbet took this opportunity to try and grab the shiny helmet that the funny man was wearing. Ah, get it off me!

Sorry for the double post but I have a few more things to add. Firstly, my apologies in the delay in the adventure thread, I cannot take the photo's until Saturday. This 10 minutes is certainly getting to be very long. I do however have some pictures I took a number of weeks ago that I have finally got around to posting. Hey, now you have a Council of Five as well? I had mine first! Not that it really matters, but it does give weight to that saying that 'great minds think alike'.

The drama is over, I have fixed my banner. It is aso a little smaller now, mainly because I want to squeeze another picture and banner in my sig still. All this promoting is tiresome! Oh, and it appears I now have my own following of loyal dragon-freedom-activists. World domination is a reality! Free the dragons!

That's an awesome display zorg, you have an amazing collection. Hmmm, perhaps I should try that sometime. I can just imagine billowing clouds of dust rising into the air.

Association for the Advancement of Dragon's Rights
Dragonator replied to Francis Marion's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Don't worry, I, your almighty Lord Dragonator am here! What what what!? A whole discussion based entirely around dragons and I haven't posted yet!? What's wrong with me? Right, this is the plan, we free all the dragons and plot WORLD DOMINATION!!!!!!! Right, that was a little extreme. Let us instead go for the diplomatic way! Banners! Protests! Insistent preaching of the teachings of the Great Dragons! Our wise companions have so long been neglected by society, but we shall change this! In fact, my entire plot for the EB RP revolves around dragons and freedom, so there you have it! I'm really touched to see so much support for this valiant cause. In honour of this I would like to offer you all some cake. Here, take a slice! You don't know who your messing with kiddo... Yes, I'm surprised as well... Someone's stealing my job! Nah it's OK, I'm just happy to see I'm not the only one that cares... Now, go forth my minions and promote the freedom of our noble friends! I will look into perhaps making a banner, we shall see... -ator -
Why didn't I see that!? Am I blind? Has my dragon obsession hidden from me what is happening? I'm feeling depressed now... Ah I'll have to go fix it then. But not until tonight however, I'm out all day.

That is really nice mtrs! Awesome landscaping! I have also just come across this cool technique, and I think you have done a fantastic job of it! I'll leave some more indepth comments later as I have to go, but in the meantime, keep up the good work!

Historic Computer Series: Macintosh Classic
Dragonator replied to Shadows's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
They gave me a laugh. Nice job Shadows! These decals look very realistic and would be great for a MAC fan. Thanks also for the step by step instructions for assembly, I understand all the steps except the last one, where is the 2x2 tile supposed to go? Does it stick out the back? Anyway, very nice and detailed decals. You are getting to be an artist with these! (definitely behond me at least ). -
I am really looking forward to getting this set, LIving in New Zealand means that we usually get most of the sets last, but it is well worth the wait! No need to be sorry mate, I think your discussion was very relevant. Eurobricks members very often get off topic, just don't make it a habit. Many a Mod is guilty of this, and they are all proud to admit it. Newly released sets is very relevant and a worthy discussion. For anyone not familiar with off-topic chat, and have an hour or two to spare, take a look at the all famous ice cube tray thread. Enjoy, and looking forward to this awesome set!

Custom Printed Fabric Elements
Dragonator replied to Lamanda2's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks for the update Lamanda2! These new additions look awesome, I think you could be getting an order from me some time soon. I loved the capes you sent last time, and I have noticed some new ones I am interested in. Will you be making any of the long capes for in Dragon Knight patterns? Those are the main types I'm interested in, and I would love some long ones. I can't wait to see a picture of this new one your working on, it sounds sweet! Just what I need really want. The paudrons are very nice, and I like the flags too, they look good. Looking forward to future updates! PS: By the way, you'll be pleased t know that I've been using one or two of your capes in some scenes of mine, just look in the picture in my signature. Self-promotion ON! -
I barely ever come in this forum, but I think I should visit more often. That is just soooo 70's retro style. I'm, like, a hippy, so, like, don't get me, like, started on the dragon thing or anything because, like, that might get off-topic. Like. Ok that was terribly corny, but anyway, I love this Batbrick! You have a true talent in building vehicles, they all look so realistic and... awesome! I have a question (well, I'll probably have more than one, but anyway), why do you particularly choose to build in black and white as predominant colours? This isn't criticism, I'm just interested to know. I'm sure lots of your other vehicles are black and white... or maybe I'm just imagining things. If so, ignore the crazy lunatic (that's not me by the way...). Right, I'll stop the side-talk and move on. This is a really nice, stylish MOC! It doesn't seem like classic space as such, but if Lego were to make a new space line that reflected those old sets, then this is heading in that direction. It is so sleek! But I will avoid comparing this with woman and parts of the anatomy, as that got extremely embarrassing in the other thread. Oh wait, too late... Anyway... A good use of parts. I like the new windscreen piece, it is cool how many uses it has, I have to get me one (or more). The uses of lots of slope pieces gives this a very elegant and refined look; it appears very aerodynamic (although I wouldn't have a clue about whether it actually is, go ask Sinner ). The engines are simple but look very effective. It just shows that less often is more! One thing I do keep noticing is that small blue spot made by the technic pin. It just seems to ruin the otherwise impeccable colour scheme. Is there perhaps some way you could cover it? Other than that this is a stunning and well executed MOC, you should be very proud. Thumbs-Up!

Is that... a whole Cavalry division of Dragon Knights in the background? I want more pictures! Give me some close-ups! Now that is a real army! I'm loving it! Ah right, that is all OK then. I was a little worried for a few moments there (so was my councillor when I was waving a large chunk of Lego in his face) but all has been resolved. Dragons are once again victorious! Oh yes, but don't let them push themselves to much, they can get a little over-excited sometimes and can strain muscles. I know some great dragon health therapists if they need them, just let me know!

This is awesome Hyphos! Ancient Egypt is an awesome place, and we very rarely see all that many MOCs of it. I myself would like to do a few, but I need to buy some desert adventure sets off Bricklink first. Anyway, I'll stop chatting... well actually no, that's impossible, let me rephrase that... I'll turn my consistent chatter towards your fabulous MOC! There are some awesome details in there, you are very imaginative. The overall scene looks stunning, with some very Egypt-looking buildings and monuments. I love the line of Anubis's, and the various Sphinx look really nice. BUt it's those little details that count for me. Things like the brick-built Anubis masks on the people, the sweet parade of people and horses, and the queen on her throne carried by lots of servants, those are the best bits.It is these neat bits that really make a scene for me. Well done indeed. My only sore point is the use of a futuristic Star Gate. To me, this doesn't fit with ancient Egypt, but that is a personal view point so don't take it as anything more. It is a very nicely built Star Gate though, and if this were a Sci-Fi sort of things with aliens coming down to help the agents etc then this would be perfect! Actually it's already starting to grow on me, especially see Indy 4. OK, so ignore that last comment, I love it! Good job and I hope to see more in the future.

Yay I love voting! This looks like it will be lots of fun Hinckley, I look forward to it starting! I love the stories/comics/adventure games etc that this forum produces, and this one is sure to be a winner for me. Right, looking at the descriptions of the two tribes I think it is clear which one you want us to vote for. So yes, I'll vote for Pagong. To me this is the one with the most amusing characters that a sure to come up with some hilarious sex-related jokes. That Swedish College girl could be fun... OK, enough of that, good luck with this, I can't wait fr the first instalment!

What!? A spelling mistake! I hate those things! Let me at it, I'll teach it a lesson... Ummm, I can't see it. Is it the fact that I did EB RP with a space? That was mainly because I wanted it to run down the side of the page (I was aiming for a square effect but then decided to just leave it as it is seen here).

It would really suck to fall off that... Nice pictures though!

Batbrick's Gotham minifigs!
Dragonator replied to Batbrick's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Those are some awesome customs Batbrick! Well done! The painted fedora's look awesome! Although I really hate modifying Lego, that looks really nice, a may even be tempted to try it (or not, I'd have to at least get some extras ). The prostitute was unexpected yet hilarious. Trust you... The SWAT team looks nice, as does Firefly, fire is pretty! The doughnut is a nice touch to Bullock. You've used some intersting pieces to portray the ideas in all these customs, and it works! Batman would be proud! Looking forward to more! -
I want one! Or two! Or even seven! That's an awesome set-up, really nice! But... are those dragons attacking that castle? Why would they do that? Or perhaps they're just showing their love. I don't have any pictures of mine at the moment, but it isn't that big so I won't bother...

Oh you know, just hanging around, plotting world domination, promoting dragon freedom and culture, and generally making other peoples business my own. The usual. Thanks for your support, I appreciate it. I'll see if I can get hold of a picture of the national winning model and post it here. That way I'll know what I need to do better next year! Yes that's you, I had to make you up though as I didn't have a picture. When you do decide to post a picture of your character I will adjust accordingly. It would be nice to see some other people building some scenes. Get right on to it!

Ah I'm just messing with ya, thanks for putting it in your signature! Thanks WhiteFang. I am thinking that if I can get two more decent lamps and a proper white-background set-up, then I wont need natural lighting. I'm thinking of something a bit like Hinckley's set-up.
-
Thanks guys for the comments! The cliffs might look better with a bit more plant-life, I may try that when I next do some landscaping (which wont be for a wee while, I would need these bricks, and I'm not yet ready to take this apart! ). Now, I have finally taken the first EB RP photo shoot, and it is in the story now. The picture below is a sample picture and a link to the page: Yes, the lighting isn't all that great again I know, but it is the best I could do with no natural light and only one big lamp. Enjoy, and comments again appreciated! The second photo shoot will be the battle, which will be far more interesting than this, so look out for that later in the week!

Glad you've decided to join! WhiteFang has pretty much covered it, if you like you can have a read of some of the threads to get an idea for the story lines that are happening at the moment. May I ask if it was my banner that drew you over here? Please say yes! Then I can prove to WhiteFang that marketing does help! Now, you'll all be happy to know that I have finally got around to posting some new pictures. Doesn't the colour just liven up the story? The photo's aren't that great I know, but they're the best I could do with artificial lighting. Enjoy!

(Time for some long-awaited pictures ) M10 Dromindur; The Ravine (or somewhere close by anyway) Follow me please, asked the guard. I would ask that only your leader come, Lord Dragonator would not take nicely to being swamped by lots of you. Aye that sounds right fine to me, stated Tyrius. Right then, this way if you please. The guard and the dwarf Tyrius made there way along the street to the tavern. Meanwhile outside the Ravine Tavern... Marcus rushed up to Dragonator and saluted. My Lord, the men are prepared and ready to fight. I have dispatched the messengers, they will go as fast as possible, but it will most likely be at least an hour before the other re-enforcements arrive. We must hold out until then. Good, how long until engagement with the enemy will commence? I'd say around 20 minutes or so. Excellent, more time than I thought. Dispatch troops to guard the other gates and bridges. You and I will stay here with a squadron and protect this bridge. We cannot let them get very far into the city before re-enforcements arrive. Marcus talked to one of his lieutenants, who quickly dispatched the orders. He returned and stood with Lord Dragonator and Lord Calvin, staring out towards the approaching enemy. Lord Calvin heard people approaching and turned. Lord Dragonator, one of your guards approaches, and with a dwarf. Dragonator turned to see what his guard had to say. My Lord, this dwarf has come seeking to talk with you. Thank you. Greetings friend dwarf. I am Lord Dragonator, Supreme Councillor of the Dragon Masters Kingdom. To whom am I speaking? Greetings Lord Dragonator, I am Tyrius ThunderHammer, Leader of the ThunderHammer Clan. Well met friend, well met. I must apologise for not offering you better hospitality, but the city is about to be savagely attacked by some scorpion knights in around 15 minutes. Care to stick around? We would be very happy to have you and your men fight along side us. I'll even let you eat as much breakfast as you before the battle begins. We would be honoured to stand and fight at your side. Just let me at the food! Thank you dear friend, it is good that we can trust in our Allies. I must thank your people as well, your delivery of weapons appears to have arrived safely, although it may not have been your specific clan who made them,I am no expert on these things. They will be put to the test in around an hour, when my other generals get here. Until then we shall be fighting a little short on men. Dragonator looked over Lord Calvin's shoulder and noticed Mark the driver standing by one of the topiary trees. Excuse me for a moment gentlemen. Mark, sorry for the intrusion, but what exactly are you doing? Why I'm clipping the hedges my lord! Ah, yes I can see that, but why? Well someone has to do it. Yes yes that is true, but why you? Well I'm not entirely certain, but the rumours in the back alleys are that the guy who created this scene didn't have any handy peasant-looking minifigs, so I got conscripted. Ah yes, that makes perfect sense. At that moment Marcus interrupted the conversation with a sudden surprised exclamation. Who in the name of the Great Dragons is that approaching down the street!? I asked for all civilians to stay indoors! Dragonator turned to look. I'm not sure, I can't see them very clearly... Oh wait! It's Majiko! And Adym! What are they doing here! Dragonator rushed towards the tired and travel-worn pair. What's happened? Why are you here? My Lord... the Keep... taken!... May the dragons preserve us! Marcus, take these men inside, and the dwarfs too. They need feeding. I will here this story quickly. It looks like this isn't the only city the scorpion knights have dared to attack. But my Lord, the attack on the city!... Can wait a few moments. They aren't going to break in in the next 10 minutes. I will here this and then we shall fight! The group of people trooped inside, where news was to be exchanged before the coming battle...
