  1. So that was you who made that smell... What happened last night is a disgrace! I am displeased. Our Friar attacked, and some insignificant squire whom I have never really met was killed! That's another loyalist. If you keep this up it will end like the Western Mafia! What's a Western Mafia? Ah, some group of wacko's that live in the west. Oh right. Did that Lieutenant over there say he didn't trust one of my dragons? Why would he say that? Well Ragnir did swap those stones around while you weren't looking... What!? Ragnir!!! Lord Dragonator storms off to find Ragnir so they can have a rematch. So... Breakfast anyone? Bring on the food!
  2. Cheers for that Armothe, now I am even more eager to get my hands on these awesome new parts! I still wish I could get the BrickWorld exclusive, it is in such a nice colour, but it was a little impractical for me to travel all the way to the US to get it. Ah well...
  3. That is terrible... I would hate something like that to happen to my collection... I'm glad that nobody was hurt. Isn't it ironic that a water pump started the fire...
  4. L7 Outside Dragons Keep Lord Dragonator surveyed the scene of the battle. The cavalry were running circles around the Ankorian camp, capturing and killing the unprepared soldiers. Most of them were either drunk or still half asleep. The spearmen from the Black Knights Kingdom were taking some heavy blows, having run straight into the recently refreshed night guards. They were battling for their lives, but appeared to be gaining the upper hand. Dragonator turned his gaze upon the gates and cursed. Those bloody dwarfs better not damage my wall with that thing! Well we need to get in somehow my Lord. Yes, and I have arranged that! People are coming to open the gates as we speak. Anyway, those walls are over 400 years old, I really wouldn't want to see them destroyed. Although they are pretty young compared with old walls of Dratos that once stood on this same ground. My lord? You do not know of that city? Well, it was destroyed nearly 700 years ago. It was a place built for dragons. This was back in the days when this entire continent was ruled by ancient Kings, who came from over the sea. Of course, for millennia before that, the continent was ruled by dragons, and they are the ones that built the city of Dratos. How do you know all this? It is not written in any history book I have ever read. It is a rare knowledge, and only known to a few. I would love to educate you more on the matter sometime. However, right now we must concentrate on this battle. Of course. Gentlemen, shall we? Dragonator, followed by the generals and rear guard, made his way down the hill and towards the gates of the city. Meanwhile, inside the city... Grim and his men slowed as they approached the gates. Up on top, a pair of Dragons attacked the few guards manning the gates. Up we go men. We need to get those gates open! The soldiers climbed the stairs, battling the few Ankorian guards that were left. Coming out on top, they were almost attacked by one of the dragons, but he recognised them in time. Good to see some fellow troops up here! Yes, we have come to open the gates. Just in time too, those dwarfs were about to lay into these walls. His Lordship would not be happy about that. No, he wouldn't. The men had been working at the winches, and the main doors creaked open, followed by the portcullis rising. Just as it cleared the parapet, the large siege ram swung forward, striking nothing but a dazed Ankorian guard, who was sent flying up onto the roof of a building. Good shot! Yelled Grim. Cheers mate, looks like you beat us to it. Forward Dwarfs! The gates were now open, and the dwarfs, followed by a company of infantrymen, streamed into the city. A squadron of Ankorian knights approached from the Keep, and engaged in battle. Lord Dragonator approached the gates and got into the thick of it, wielding his sword, striking long lines of flame through the enemy. Soon they had made a nice mess of the Ankorian knights. Dragonator surveyed his men. You are fighting bravely men, now we must take the Keep. Forward! The soldiers formed up and marched on towards the keep, lead by Lord Dragonator...
  5. IMPORTANT: If you are not a participant in the game, then please do not post in the game. These threads are reserved for players only. That night the people of the keep had returned to their beds. Well most of them anyway. The chef was required to go help pick up the food deliveries for the next day. Outside, he greeted the delivery man, Gustav. The day's vegetables had arrived on a horse drawn cart and were in the midst of being unloaded. The food included apples, carrots and potatoes. The chef went over to check some barrels. At that moment, Friar Brown walked out of the small servant's entrance, obviously on his way back to the chapel. Nothing at all seemed amiss... ...until a large Greek shield fell from above, narrowly missing the Friar. He did not however notice, probably because he was a little to drunk to. As he was walking, he passed Daniel the Squire walking back towards the main castle. Daniel was about to greet the chef as well when a Greek helmet fell on the chef's head, taking him by surprise. Meanwhile, the Friar walked on, oblivious to what was happening behind. Behind him, a Greek spear was thrown from one of the balconies... ...and hit him. Down he fell. Gustav the driver turned and in horror saw that the Friar was lying on the ground bleeding. As he turned, one of the buckles on the horse's harness came lose. The chef was still trying to get the Greek helmet off his head, while Daniel watched, amused. At that moment the buckles on the horse broke, and the cart fell backwards, pouring its heavy load of potatoes all over Daniel, crushing him into the ground. Gustav turned again and stood shocked at what he saw. The harness had broken clean through, and it looked like it had been tampered with earlier. Looking down, it was clear to see that Daniel had been killed. Luckily, the spear intended to smite the Friar only pierced his leg. He was bleeding profusely, but it looked like he would live. M*g@bl%cks! A foul curse was heard from up on the balcony. When morning came, the rest of the castle got up and found out what had happened. Daniel was searched thoroughly, and it was discovered that he was a loyalist. Lord Dragonator was once again not happy. Who was the killer? And would they strike again? Dragonator wants to know it all. The people gathered in the Grand Hall to discuss what had happened that night. Thanks once again for choosing to play. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. If you need to review the rules, then these can be found in the introduction thread (link in my signature). 6. Thanks for that WhiteFang, I'll get to work on it, and hopefully have it finished within a few weeks. I will do a breif summary of the places; the more detailed stuff I think I'll work on separately and share it all with you at a later date, so as I actually have something to show. I presume that when I finish it I can post it in the thread? That way I can quickly edit it with any updates when needed without having to annoy anyone. I'll try and incorporate your idea in that we were both once a single united kingdom. You know, once upon a time the entire continent was ruled by a single family, and was one big kingdom! But more on all that later... I want to start working on building some DM castles and towns, so when I do those I'll make sure I provide a link in the summary and share them with you all. Thanks once again for for taking part, I always enjoy participating! -ator
  7. Hmmm, I wish you had told me of this sooner. My game is falling apart! If anyone out there is interested in taking the place of Inertia, then that would be great! Otherwise he might just have to have an... accident... Hope your trip goes well anyway.
  8. L7 Approaching the Capital Lord Dragonator topped a rise and looked out over the capital city. His city. Inside, an evil force awaited, holding his country captive. But not for long. He turned his horse and faced the troops. Men, we have arrived. It has been a long journey, but now, the real test is to begin. Today, we will take back our country! The men waved their swords in the air and cheered loudly. Gragonator waited for silence before continuing. Tonight, we shall feast in the banquet halls of the Keep. Many of you have family and loved ones inside; you will be able to see them as well. But now, we must concentrate on what is to happen. Your company leaders will now tell you what the attack plan is. The companies all crowded around their various leaders, and the plans were issued. The three dragons were to attack the men on the gates first, with two squadrons of infantry men attempting to scale the walls on either side. Meanwhile, the cavalry were to make a flanking manoeuvre and attack the Ankorian soldiers camped outside the city, along with another infantry squadron and the soldiers from the Black Knights Kingdom headed by Lee. Good luck men, and may the ancient Dragons guide you this day. With those words the companies of men charged over the rise towards the unprepared city. Dragonator sat upon his horse watching, along with the other generals. Shortly we will advance and ride up to the keep. I have some unfinished business to attend to... Meanwhile in the dungeons of the Keep... Grim looked up from his cote in the cold, barren dungeon. Outside the window, he could just make out Ragnir's head. They had spent many long hours discussing what had happened, but neither of them could do anything. Now Ragnir was looking through the window again. Yes Ragnir, what is it? I have just been contacted by Lord Dragonator. It seems the wizard here has let is control lapse now that they have the keep. As we speak, Dragonator is attacking the city. He wants to know if you can rally the troops and start an uprising in here. Ah yeah, sure, but then there's these chains... I think I could deal with that. Ragnir huffed into the cell, and the chains suddenly broke open, as well as liquefying the bars in the window. Why didn't you do that already? Umm... Oh never mind, lets get going! I'll stay here, I don't want anything to happen to Nizbet. You get down to the gates and make sure they're open. Right! Grim jumped up over the edge, careful not to burn himself on the rapidly cooling puddle of molten metal, and raced out of the unguarded gates to the keep. Man these Ankorians are slack! He made his way to the nearest barracks, and after killing the lone guard, freed all the soldiers that were held prisoner there. Men, we must go and open the gates, otherwise the attackers will have no chance! They rushed towards the southern gate, hoping they were not to late...
  9. That's a great job you've done there WhiteFang, very clear and easy to follow. I would like to adopt the Dragon Masters Kingdom, for obvious reasons. It has a huge amount of history and information that I would not be able to fit in there, but I would be happy to write up a summary first. Do we still post excess information in the character summary thread, for example descriptions and pictures of towns, well known legends, population statistics, general information about dragons and the like? I'm thinking of working on my own little 'project' based around the DM, although it will be a whole lot more detailed etc. I want to try and share some of the history with you all, it is very deep and interesting...
  10. Yeah, sometimes it sucks living on the underside of the world... But NZ is a great place! Just not when it comes to buying Lego. I wonder what the chances are of holding the next BrickWorld in New Zealand? After all, it is supposed to be an international event.
  11. I just received two classic space sets, set 497, and set 6884. The boxes are really damaged, and some of the parts are a bit chewed/need a good clean, but I got them for a great price, so I think it was worth it. I'm also going to need to replace the TV aerial, as most of the spikes have snapped off. That will be expensive, looking at Bricklink prices... Oh well!
  12. Gee, I hope I don't sound to tough on you people... The idea is for you to enjoy yourself and have fun, so please tell me if you think I'm being a M*g@bl%ck^ng control freak. Just don't say it to loudly, my dragon friends don't like that sort of thing... Please do not at all feel pressured to post. Post when you want to, and when you have something to say. I just don't want to be doing this if people are only going to post once or twice over a whole day. So post when you want to, but make sure you do contribute! You know, that was all a little contradictory. Yeah, but I think they get the message. As a reminder, I am also still waiting on those night actions! If they're not in soon then the next day may be delayed a little, so please don't wait around... Thanks!
  13. Hmmm, it's not available in New Zealand yet... Why are we always last? This looks like such an awesome set, I didn't pre-order the Falcon, and am now really regretting it, but I think I will pre-order this one. I mean just look at it!
  14. Right, it has now been offically confirmed (by me) that Cpt. Pegleg Blockbeard will be joining us in Day 3. Please make sure he receives a good welcome. As a reminder, could those people with night actions please get them to me immediately as I cannot start on the next day until I have them all. I don't really want to have to delay it. Thanks once again for taking part!
  15. Another great instalement, and the story is awesome! I love those glowing crystals, and the rest of the diorama, looks really cool. Do I see 9 points of light? Did you buy an extra socket or something? Anyway, great job once again, I look forward to the next chapter!
  16. Where's my prostitute! Some more great figs Batbrick! Batman is awesome, perhaps I should get some sets! I still really want a Batman, just so I can beat the M*g@bl&cks out of you. The updated Firefly looks very nice, much more purist, and that's how I normally go. The hoods look very realistic, and that is a nice choice of torso for the victim. That Hugo Strange is really... strange... The penguins new umbrella is cool, a very nice concept their, and his crone also looks nice. I still love that purple fedora on the joker, it is awesome! Now, bring back the prostitutes!
  17. Could you please not vote twice? It makes it very hard for me to do the tallies otherwise... Fun isn't it! What did he say about me? Nothing at all... You took the words right out of my mouth. There will be lots more games hosted in future, in fact I already have a great idea for my next one (it will be based in WWII, but don't start speculating any time soon ), and you do not want to be on the black list. Dun dun duuunnnn!!! Quiet, I'm trying to listen! Sorry... Ahem, anyway, what I'm saying is, if you do sign up then make an effort; if you don't then don't expect to be asked back again. I don't mind if people tell me they are going to away/particularly busy, but I really hate it when people are just to lazy to post or even contact me! Here here! Where? ******** The last rays of sun were cut off by the curve of a hill, and darkness fell over the keep. He got a very sore knee, but other than that was uninjured. The people of the keep made their way back to their rooms. The day had been full of debate and talk, and at one point it had looked like someone might be condemned, however in the end no decision was reached. Now they would see what the night would bring... Votes in the end were as follows: Atoll Dweller (Calvin): 5 TinyPiesRUs (Lord Ash): 3 A majority of 11 was needed. Thank you all for taking part once again, it has been very fun, and hugely successful. Could all those with night actions please get them to me ASAP! Day 3 will begin in approximately 2 days. Until then, stay alert, and hope you survive the night... -ator PS. This thread may now be closed.
  18. Ummm, about that... Due to a cost cutting exercise the length of rope the mighty Dragon Lord is allowing each day is only 6 inches. That should hopefully be plenty though, since we are only 1.5 inches high! ...This game is really messed up...
  19. Right, are you trying to tell me I just did these tallies for nothing! The things I do for you people. But seriously, these tallies give some interesting insight into who has and hasn't been contributing. Now I know who to target. Day 1 Tally of Posts 0. Dragonator: 12 1. Inertia: 4 2. TinyPiesRUs: 6 3. Hyphos: 5 4. imperialshadows: 22 5. WhiteFang: 12 6. Lt. Veers: 0 7. Dovchenko (formerly sdpirate): 4 8. iamded: 4 9. stash2sixx: 14 10. I Scream Clone: 8 11. Pencoin: 17 12. Flatfoot Thompson: 0 Well that is interesting isn't it. The two people who didn't post at all were Lt. Veers and Flatfoot Thompson. And yes I am trying to publicly humiliate you. Perhaps we could front-page these results? Day 2 Tally of Posts (up to the end of page 10) 0. Dragonator: 20 1. Inertia: 8 2. TinyPiesRUs: 5 3. Hyphos: 3 4. imperialshadows: 20 5. WhiteFang: 11 6. Lt. Veers: 0 7. Dovchenko (formerly sdpirate): 2 8. iamded: 3 9. stash2sixx: 10 10. I Scream Clone: 5 11. Pencoin: dead 12. Trexxen: 3 13. Quarryman: 11 14. Batbrick: 7 15. Hinckley: 12 16. AgentRick57: 1 17. TheBrickster: 6 18. KurttKrueger: 3 19. Commanderbly42: 3 20. Atoll Dweller: 14 21. Flatfoot Thompson: 1 These results have decided our winner loser. Lt. Veers, with no posts, will be leaving the island castle. Flatfoot Thompson comes in with a close second; his single post simply asks whether he is in trouble for missing the first day. Hell yeah!! So, unless anyone disagrees, and even if you do, the Captain will be joining the game at the start of Day 3. Thanks to everyone who has been posting, it helps the game to be fun and a true success. To those of you that haven't, you'll probably find yourselves served up on the BBQ for some good Dragon roasting. Yummy! But seriously, it isn't that hard to log on and just post even once a day. I would like to see each person making an effort to leave at the least 5 posts. Otherwise it isn't really worth playing. I know some people are extremely busy, but if you can't even find 5 minutes to post once each day, then you probably shouldn't have joined up in the first place. If I deem you not to be contributing enough then you will be sent a warning. After that you could possibly be sudden;y killed for no apparent reason. Thanks for all your understanding! If you think I'm being unfair, then please kindly contact provide your address and I'll send one o' my mate 'round to deal with ya. That's what comes of signing up to play a game hosted by a dragon-lover! Enjoy! ~Dragonator
  20. So now you want me to go through all 24 pages of the last 2 days and make a tally of who has and hasn't been posting? Oh I suppose so... I'll go do that now and get back to you with the results so you can determine who should leave. Do not provoke the might of dragons, especially when you look tasty and would go well with BBQ sauce.
  21. Hi all, sorry for the double post. I have just had a request from a very dedicated member of our audience who would like to join the game in the place of one of the non-posters. Cpt. Pegleg Blockbeard has been following the game very closly, and has already begun formulating his own opinions and ideas on the mystery. Basically, I think he would be a better addition to the game than one of those people who very rarely posts. I understand that some of you may not like the idea of a new person entering the game at this stage, however he will be filling an already made role, and so should fit in nicely. This way we wont have lots of random deaths due to potatoes during the night, and the game might last a little longer. We don't want to miss out on any of the fun do we? So my question to you, the players, is this. Would you like to offer this person one of the roles? Really, I ant it to be your decision, as you are the players. Also, if there is a non-poster out there who has decided they are no longer keen on playing and would like to volunteer to give up their role in the game, then this would be very much appreciated. Otherwise I shall leave it up to you, the players, to decide which person you think has not been posting enough to keep playing. I know this sounds a little tough, and I'm sorry if some people do not agree with me cutting people from the game, but in reality, if your not willing to play properly, then why play at all? So there you have it folks, I look forward to your decisions. Oh yes, and the threat still stands that you may find yourself dead if you don't post, so don't let that be you! Forced Co-operation ON!
  22. You know, despite my real desire to try and be fair to every player, these no-posters are really starting to annoy me. I think very soon I may be forced to take some... action. But I really don't want to, so if those people who are not posting as regularly as they should could please put in a little effort, then not all is lost. Otherwise it is to the potatoes you will go... MUHAHAHAHA!!!! *evil organ music is played, followed by various well placed lightning flashes*
  23. Yes, I can do that in future. I hope your all enjoying it!
  24. Current Votes are as follows: Atoll Dweller (Calvin): 5 TinyPiesRUs (Lord Ash): 1
  25. What's with you people, we only just ate Lunch! (as a note, the game lasts approx. 5 days real time, so it will finish in 2 more days ) Well as I said earlier, I can't remember that much, but I presume that I was with the Friar! We had a looong night... and that pew was darn hard! Have I already said all this? Maybe I'm starting to get crazy like Lord Dragonator... I heard that! I am not crazy! Not at all! I'm simply slightly mentally insane. Well, perhaps slightly isn't the right word.
