Oh undoubtedly! That would be a unanimous vote for sure! Everybody loved that gold dragon! I don't know a soul who doesn't! (well I did, but they're all dead now... ) That was an awesome dragon. Now I know many people didn't like the original Lego dragons (which is blasphemy in itself), but everyone has to admit that with it's extra long tail, gold printing and gold head piece, it was a true Lego treasure. No, I'm not asking you, I'm telling you to admit it! Repeat after me: Dragons are the best. This gold dragon is awesome! (and I want to hear that love emoticon!)

Just as often as you see a giant yeti walking around! Anyway, my vote goes to the Jun-Chi, Yeti's and giant tigers are so over-rated. And I loved those Chinese based sets (I still do too ).

Editor, he is editing his posts! Attack fellow Romans! Down with editing! EDIT: Oh yes, and thanks for the vote! Now only 5 to go.

Those are some beautiful trains! 360 degree views ON!

Thanks for the review WhiteFang. I love these sets, and I wish they were available in NZ. So far, it seems they may never come here... But I can sit and hope. I like the look of them after your make-over, a real skeleton army there! Did you say you've bought 12! Tht's lots of Skelies. Are you planning a big MOC or something?
-
Oh yes, I fully agree WhiteFang. There are still people who are posting regularly, and that is good. But it is only about 5 or 6 people, and it would be good if we could draw in some more to help it grow! It is definitely not declining, not so long as we continue to post, but there are people out there who don't know what fun they are missing, so it would be nice to open there eyes to this awesome role-play. I have to say that every time I come on EB I check to see if there has been a new post, I enjoy reading all the different plots. As a random thing, has anyone else noticed that the discussion thread has around three pages more posts than the adventure thread? Isn't that funny!

Yes that's fair enough, running all those contests must be hard work. My apologies if I appeared to be a poor, unknowing, annoying, frustrating, dragon-loving person. Well, actually I don't apologise for the dragon-loving bit, but I do for the rest. Take as much time as you like! I'm glad someone's happy. It would be fun to perhaps use sig-figs. But then of course it wouldn't be accurate to the movie. You know, weren't we going to have another whack-a-fig contest? I missed out on the first one, and it would be very popular. Yes, that would broaden it a bit, and allow for a wider audience. Although it is always easier to vote when the contestants have to build to a certain theme... Here here! Good job staff, keep it up!

My apologies for the double post, but I really wanted to share this with you all. It seems that interest in the EB RP is starting to decline, so I have devised some new marketing! Go promotion! Anyway, here I present you with a banner I made just recently. Yes I know the photography is horrible and it doesn't look as good as most banners, but I wanted to get the idea out there. I'm planing on making a second banner that should hopefully look a little better. Anyway, here it is, and feel free to put it in your signatures if you want to. Promotion ON!

More on that soon, I've just got to download some photos. They are done with artificial lighting unfortunately, I get barely any good natural light at my house at best.

Ah LegoLyons, please remember that voting should be done in bold. I would like to also vote: Tanotrooper. See, like that.

Awe man... And it was getting so exciting too... Ah well, can't be helped I guess. Good luck with your exams, and I look forward to the return of the Roman Mafia!

Thanks guys. I don't know when I'll go up there next weekend, but I'll let you all know on here. And some pictures too!

That sounds like a cool idea Hinckley. Although any contest at the moment sounds cool. Nah I'm just messing with ya, this could work. I don't own much Blacktron, but it could be very appealing to our space fans. Looking at the replies in this thread, I think Batbrick's idea for a movie vig contest would go down well. It appears there are lots of people who would be willing to enter. Please Hinckley? I'll set my dragon friends on you if you don't agree... I still think a Dragon-building contest is a good idea.

I've just got back from seeing Indy 4. What a movie! It was very... different to what I expected. Some nice scenery, especially with the detailed ruins, although it was a bit sad seeing them smashed to pieces. I didn't spot any Star Wars references though, although I did see the Ark of the Covenant. Anyway, overall a good movie. One thing that's bugging me though, is that we only get three crystal skeletons in the entire Lego line, and only the heads are crystal at that! We could at least have got the head of one in one of the smaller sets, it was present in all those scenes. And then a body to put it on in the last set. I would have loved some transparent skeletons...

In a shameless act of double posting I thought a nice little update was due. The results have come back for the NZ National Lego Builders competition, and I won my stores section (yay, $50 worth of Lego for me! ). No trip to California though, a castle entry from somewhere else won that... Ah well, there's always next year... Anyway, this will be kept together for a few more weeks now, as the store owner has asked to display it in his store! I was really happy and so of course said yes. So now I need to take the pictures for the EB RP before I go set it up in the store next weekend, as well as picking up my prize. If anyone visits the Toyworld at Coastlands on the Kapiti Coast, then be sure to drop by and have a look, it is much better seen in person than in my crappy photographs. I'll have new pictures in the EB RP thread hopefully by tomorrow, so until then, enjoy! I'll make sure I take some pictures of it in the store.

Batbrick's idea for a movie vig contest sounds cool, and so do lots of these other suggestions. The reason I'm posting here is that we need to get some sort of contest up and running. There isn't even one going at the moment! Hey, I've got a cool contest! How about a contest in which the contestants are required to come up with a cool contest idea, and the best contest entered by a contestant is made into a real contest! It could be called the Contest to find Or we could have a dragon-building contest...

That looks fun! I want to have a go! I nice vig Dr. S, a good, simple construction that shows off the horrors of Japanese game shows.

M10 Dromindur; Outside The Ravine Dragonator turned at the sound of approaching people. Lord Calvin, what a pleasant surprise! I hope you and your people are ready for some battle, it appears that a horde of angry scorpion knights will be here in 10 minutes or so. What fun! I haven't had the chance to battle anyone in ages! We're a bit short on men, most of the Royal Guards who were here are out with my other Generals to pick up some... gear, so it looks like we will have some fun today. So what are your plans? Lord Calvin asked. Well, they will be attacking from the other side of that bridge. So what we're going to do is this... Meanwhile, Marcus was rounding up the men and getting them into an orderly formation. Come now, quit your dilly dallying, this is serious stuff. Some of you will most likely die today, but it will be an honourable death, fighting for your Lord Dragonator. We will be victorious, as we should have been during the last war! Let us show these Ankorian scum who they're dealing with! As cheers and shouts of excitement came from the men, Marcus finished briefing the messengers and sent them on their way. By the Gods I hope they get back soon. Meanwhile... M10; 5 miles West of Dromindur The three Generals, Gillious, Spencer and Andrew were examining some large crates filled with swords, shields and other weaponry. Ah yes this appears to be exactly what we ordered, good job on the fast delivery Quickwing, you sure do live up to your name! The large dragon whom Gillious was addressing smiled contentedly and puffed a small stream of smoke out his nostrils. Hmmm, do both the cavalry and the infantry get the same type of sword? It appears so. I'm not sure I like that. Don't worry dear friend, we have ordered them in a couple of different steals for the officers, cavalry and normal infantry. Ah, that's better then. Men, come collect your weapons, and load the rest of the crates on to the back of these carts. Lord Dragonator will be pleased with these. The men cheerfully helped load the crates and admired their new weapons, completely oblivious to the mounting crisis back in the great southern city of Dromindur.

New Line of Impulse sets available S@H
Dragonator replied to I Scream Clone's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Thanks for this! These are also available on the NZ S@H, so hopefully we will see them in stores soon! It's far to expensive to order off the site... -
Another awesome RebelRock creation! This one is up to your usual high standard of building, and includes some neat little details. The castle itself is well built with a nice slick design, and I love the tiled path up to the front doors. Nice use of interesting parts like the ants, the Avatar pieces and the BrickForge animals etc. Great Work and I look forward to more.

I suffered the torment of this masterpiece in its entirety, with all the added sound and video footage. My councillor says this was not a good idea, and now I'm going to need some serious therapy for the next few months... Then again, my councillor has reason to be worried, I killed the last seven.
-
Beautiful. Just pure fantastic! This is a great achievement, well done you! That is really impressive, and made even more so by the difficult building techniques you decided to use such as the seven-wide design. It looks so realistic! The Big Ben's Bricks Wheels are very well suited, I am considering getting a few myself. Your boiler design is pure genius, and looks extremely realistic to a real locomotive. That is a lot of cheese! The detail on this is really nice too, such as the pistons, the cow-grate and the custom stickers. The two tenders look great as well, definitely one of my favourite examples of a motorised tender. The overall colour scheme suits the model well, and I think that you nave done an excellent job on integrating the chassis into a 7-wide model. The controls inside the cabin are also a nice touch, I love the inclusion of a fire door, it just adds to the authenticity of this superb model. I just can't express in words how much this model rocks, you are very talented in this feild of building, and I look forward to your future MOCs.

Unlikely Society -- FINALLY a new chapter
Dragonator replied to Joebot's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
I love the special effects, very well done, and the brick built red dragon is awesome! That is of course my favourite build (as it would be), but some of the other scenes have some cool details as well. You've done a great job on the scenery, and the comic has some funny moments too. -
It appears that we are finally going to have some action at this meeting! I knew I planned it for one reason or another. Lets get some blood spilt shall we?

M10 Dromindur; The Ravine After the events of the night evryone had slept fairly well. Breakfast was now being served, and most of the representatives were downstairs eating the good food; bacon, eggs, freshly baked pastries and turn-overs, lamb (which is good at any time of day) and beer (which is also good at any time of day). Dragonator stood up and tapped his glass. Your attention please. As you may know there was an unpleasant occurrence during the night. This matter is being dealt with as we speak. Enjoy the food, after this we will be meeting to discuss our new alliances' future plans. As Dragonator returned to his seat, a soldier hurried in and approached him. My Lord, General Marcus requests your presence outside. Do I never get a moments rest? This is important my Lord. Grabbing a pastry, Dragonator followed the soldier outside to find General Marcus standing over a now tied up yet still hooded Morcia representative. One of the men spotted this one climbing out his window early this morning. It appears the other one got away however. I thought you might like to do the honours. With pleasure. Dragonator stepped forward and pulled off the man's hood. The man looked back at him angrily. Never have I been so insulted in my life! Why you will-hey! Marcus grabbed the man's arm and pulled up the sleeve to reveal a tattoo of a scorpion. It is as I thought, from Ankoria. It appears we do have something to worry about from you. You don't know anything. You are already to late. This land will be ruled by Ankoria! You and your stupid dragons can go rot in- Pulling back his arm, Dragonator smacked the man square in the face, knocking him out cold. Some things I can deal with, but not an insult to a dragon. Gag him and leave him in the stables, he will be dealt with later. Yes my Lord. I just wonder what he meant by 'we are already to late'? At that moment a horn sounded from the top of the watch tower across the bridge, and a man came racing over towards them. My Lords... coming from the East... a great mass of men... Scorpion Knights! Marcus? Yes Dragonator? Ready the men, and send out a messenger to the other generals to get back here as fast as possible with their troops, we're going to need them. We have a battle to face today, and we will fight it like a true Legion of the Kingdom of the Dragon Masters! Yes my Lord, I will see to it immediately. I am only sorry we do not have more men to sacrifice. That sounds like it's from a movie. What? Nothing.
