  1. A very good point. Make sure you do that Zepher. Oh, and you'll need a skirt of some description, I don't want any cross-dressers either...
  2. Glad to hear it. You can take over from Inertia. I will PM you with your character information shortly. Thanks for choosing to take part, and I hope you contribute as much as possible.
  3. Those are some awesome sculptures, and just look at the piece counts! He must have a lot of patience.
  4. What an interesting topic! And I've got such a great set too! Behold, set 2052, the one and only amazing Duplo Clown! I can't find a set picture, but from the inventory I think you can all tell what it looks like. To bad it wasn't a dragon related set. Edited by ImperialShadows: Oh look, a picture!
  5. Ah, a topic I really have to post in! Lets look at your question. All dragons, it has been accepted, are awesome and amazing. Even so, various people have differing views on the Lego versions. The original 'classic' dragons, as seen in such sets as the Dragon Masters etc, were the first to be produced by Lego. Wonderfully compatible, they contain a true essence of what Lego is. They are of a good size to fit into smaller MOCs, without having to widen your city streets to make room. Also, the black ones make good statues when they have black wings. These dragons fit in very well with the original style of Lego castles, as they could easily land on a rooftop or walk through a larger doorway. Their only problem was that the only functioning parts were the arms, tail, and mouth to some extent. Still, I love them. Only a few years ago we saw the rise of a new style of dragons, those seen in the Viking sets. Combining Bionicle and system pieces, these dragons were larger, easier to pose with various jointed limbs, and very nicely built. Because of their size, they are not suitable to be in smaller MOCs, however they have the greatest amount of customisation options. Ity is possible to build all sorts of different dragons with bricks, rather than just using the single-mold pieces provided by Lego. Now, most recently, we have the large dragons, following the line of '<insert that tiresome argument>' pieces that Lego has been making recently. These still have a greater amount of dexterity compared to the originals, however they are much larger and bulkier, and nowhere near as poseable as the Viking style dragons. I must say that they are not my favourite dragon style put out by Lego, however they are still dragons and so should obviously be respected. For me, I love all the dragons. The originals for their classic feeling, and way they can easily interact with minifigs; Viking styles for their poseability and very nice design, as well as being sble to be customized, and the new ones for their nice wings and great print jobs. However, I do not think that I would like to continue to see Lego produce these newer dragons, when compared to the older styles. For me, the classic ones are the best for doing Lego scenes, and I enjoy being able to build various styles of the Viking ones. But in the end it comes down to personal preference. We all love dragons. It is up to you to decide which ones you want to use to portray this love in Lego.
  6. L7 Dragons Keep Dragonator looked up from his silent pondering. Yes, they had won. But something still did not feel... right. There was another piece to this puzzle that he was missing. It felt to him that this victory was not the end of the war, but simply the opening skirmish in a greater battle to come... His attention then focused on Adym. With a great sigh, Dragonator came out of his contemplation and put his thoughts towards what the lad had said. My apologies, I have been very distracted recently. Yes, this... project I have set you. I would like you to get back to work on it. The magician, whom you have met, Majiko, will be here to discuss my plans over with you. It may take a few days for other events to sorted out however. Dragonator looked up at the stained glass windows, thinking deeply. Times are difficult, and the world is changing. A great evil stirs, and even I cannot see the full extent of its plans. I fear that I may be in need of this construction sooner than we expected. I ask that you continue your work, although the intended purpose of this creation may change with what transpires in the coming weeks. I thank you for your work, you have been doing a tremendous job, and are helping my purpose wonderfully. Dragonator then lapsed back into his own thoughts. Where was the king? Grim was searching right at that moment, but things would not be fine until he was found. And what was this mysterious evil? Dragonator knew that if he wanted the dragons to survive, he would have to act soon...
  7. That is correct that Adam will be replacing KurttKrueger. Inertia has told me that he will be away on a business trip, however as yet I do not have anyone to replace him. However I don't want to kill our fine maid just yet. If anyone out there is still interested in playing, then this would be a good opportunity for you to make yourself known.
  8. L7 Dragons Keep; The Throne Room Lord Dragonator burst through the doors of the throne room, disintegrating them as they slammed open. Those are going to be expensive to replace. Not compared with everything else, but yes, sorry. Scorpia looked up in horror from the trone he sat upon. The Ankorians that would have been protecting him were long gone, trying to protect the city most likely. Only he remained, seated upon the throne. Ughhhh, Dragonator, what a pleasant surprise. Cookie? With a roar, Dragonator charged down the hall. Scorpia was thrown back into his chair and held ridged by invisible bonds as Dragonator approached. I knew that somebody here would betray me, and you were my most likely choice. Why Scorpia? Power, it is always power. I thought I could handle it. But this bloody staff just wont work. Pathetic. Never rely on an external source of power to do your dirty work; power comes from within. You are not worthy to use that staff, and it knows it. Taking the staff from Scorpia's shaking hands, Dragonator slowly raised it over his head. Your going to kill me now, aren't you? Sure are! Dragonator swung the staff down, and with a burst of flame that heated the whole room, he smote Scorpia where he sat. All that remained were a pair of smoking shoes. How cliché. What my Lord? Never mind. Go look for the king, I want to know what has happened to him. The city is now bck in our grasps. We will send the Ankorians back to their homeland in shame. Soldiers rushed off around the Keep on various duties, spreading rumours of what had occured wherever tey went. Out of habit, the rumours grew with the telling, and soon every person on the streets had a different and grander version of the events that had occurred. Dragonator sat alone in the empty throne room, staring down at the Dragon Staff on his knees...
  9. And with that deciding vote a man has been condemned. Kyle was woken from his drunken stupor and took Lord Ash to his rooms where he was to be imprisoned until the morning. A guard of 10 is to be assigned, so there will be no chance of any sort of action for or against him to take place. As he is a Lord he will be given the more honourable death of hanging in the morning. The final votes are as follows: Atoll Dweller (Calvin): 1 TinyPiesRUs (Lord Calvin): 10 Batbrick (General Marcus): 4 The sun had set over the castle grounds, and the people of the castle retired to their beds, both eager to see the results of their voting in the morning, and fearful of what the night could bring... This thread can now be closed. Thanks once again to everyone for playing! Please get your night actions to me immediately, even if you do not plan on using them, as I need to know. -ator
  10. Those are great, I'll be sure to make an order as soon as they become available, and they can go in Part 2 of my review. Looking forward to being able to buy them!
  11. Congratulations to both of you, it's good see some new faces in the staff. I'm sure you will both do great! Keep up your amazing work guys! I offer my congratulations too. So do I. And me! Oh I guess I better as well. Do you all have to congratulate him? I think the first part was enough, they don't need all parts of us to say it. By the way, congrats guys! Hypocrite. Yeah. Hang on, we aren't one person! At least I don't think we are, are we? To those reading this we probably look it. That's a little creepy, only crazy people talk to themselves. Why are you looking at me like that? No reason. Hey, all of you, quit bugging me and get back to the Mystery Castle thread, your dirtying this thread! You cannot hide from yourself you know... Who's the crazy one now? Still you I think. Hey! *signal fades*
  12. I just received 6082 Fire Breathing Fortress which I purchased on TradeMe. Finally, I have some printed Dragon-style castle pieces! If I get the time, I'll do a review, as anything about dragons is worth reviewing. I love the printed baseplate in this set, I wish the new ones were done this way still rather than with stickers. Now I need to go build the thing!
  13. That's hilarious! And I always thought you looked a bit like a Monkey too... Cheese ON!
  14. Hey, I'll have you know that back in my day, I was the finest cook in all the land! People would come from miles around to taste my honey-brazed pheasant. What's a honey-brazed pheasant? I have no idea, but that's not the point now, is it. Don't worry about it, if Majiko made it, you don't want to try it. Hey! Well it's true! Do you remember that time we were stuck on a frosty mountain with just you, me, and that bloody pack animal? Yeah, I knew I didn't cook it well enough, a little too rare I think. That's because you didn't cook it at all! Oh right, I knew I forgot something. But we can only learn from our mistakes. Some people never learn. Yes, like you never learn not to turn your back on Ragnir during a stones game. What? Ragnir! And I would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for that meddling wizard and his big hat! My pleasure.
  15. Another fantastic Fabuland creation, well done to both of you! This really made me laugh, I thought immediately when I saw it in some pictures from BrickWorld (NannanZ gallery) that you must be involved. And you were, 'cause you were in those pictures too! This one is one of my favourites, it portrays the classic scene excellently and still gives that hilarious Fabuland edge we have all come to know and love. I just wish I could have been there to see it in the flesh plastic... Oh, and that was very... touching Shadows. A great analysis.
  16. Your wish is my command... Current votes are as follows: Atoll Dweller (Calvin): 1 TinyPiesRUs (LOrd Ash): 7 Batbrick (General Marcus): 4 I have just recently been informed that KurttKrueger will be leaving us due to family commitments behond his control. However, I have had another person request being able to join, one Adam, a fairly new member. If their are no objections, he will join us in Day 4. Since there is now one less player until then, the majority vote has been reduced to 9. What? Who said you were chef? I want to be chef! Um, perhaps not the best idea... Why can't I be the chef? I've got some good plans for desert. And I think I have a good way to use those potatoes s they don't go to waste! Yes, perhaps leave it to the servants. But- The squabbling was taken outside. Those nearby were wondering why the host was talking to himself during the ad breaks.
  17. Current votes are as follows: Atoll Dweller (Calvin): 2 TinyPiesRUs (Lord Ash): 3 Batbrick (General Marcus): 2 A majority vote of 10 is required.
  18. Um, that would be me. Hang on, so how do they know that your not a traitor? Because I ordered them to find the traitors silly! But that could be some subtle cover up that- Shut it! Well, it is something to be considered... Whose side are you on? Who's paying me to be on this show? Me. Oh, yours then! That's better. You know, don't you get the throne anyway? What? Um, no, of course not... So those other 'Lords' are next in line? That's what we'll let them think... You know we're standing in the middle of the hall discussing this very loudly in front of everyone, don't you? Oh crap...
  19. I saw that first on The Brothers Brick, and it is really spectacular! It's builders like this that I truly aspire too. His landscaping is great, and I love those trees! I've always been pretty bad at making trees... The detail for the dock is a highlight, and then we can't forget the amazing castle itself! Truly wonderful! I hope that one day I might be able to build something of such beauty. A great work DARKspawn.
  20. Random? They are not random at all! What's the point in joining a game show if your not going to participate? These people left because they could not continue playing. Well, except for that Flatfooted guy, but he just wasn't posting enough. If you don't want any random deaths, then tell the others to start posting! Thanks for standing up for me mate. Yeah, he appreciates it. Although you shouldn't talk too much during the game thread, you might ruin the flow you know. What flow? Hardly anyone is posting! Well, still... Until someone says something worth commenting on, I think we'll just have to continue with these little conversations. Why don't we get an audience member in here? What's an audience? Grrrr... (OOC: I think I should point it out now that I do not normally have conversations with myself. It's just that they I don't want to agree on anything...)
  21. L7 Dragons Keep The mass of men approached the open gates to the Keep, and valiantly charged head on in. To late, Lord Dragonator realised it was a trap. As Ankorian knights jumped out on either side he shouted: Men, it is a trap! Spearhead formation! Do not let yourselves be beaten! The men quickly formed a spearhead, with Lord Dragonator at the head. He had left his horse further back in the city, prefering to go on foot in the confines of the street. The Ankorians fell on them, and they fought back viciously. Each time a man fell, one came in from behind to take hi place, making the spearhead unstoppable. It charged forwards, and up the steps, breaking as it entered the Entrance Hall. Leaving the men to defend the doorway, Dragonator and a small group of men made their way up into the castle towards the throne room. At that moment Grim came out of the masses and approached his master. My Lord! Grim, you are here! I know you are angry my Lord, it is my fault that the Keep fell and- His words were blocked out as Dragonator fiercely hugged him, squashing his breath. My Lord, I'm choking... Sorry, but it is good to see you my old friend. Let us take back this keep together! They marched up the next flight of stairs and threw open the doors of the throne room... Outside, the men continued to fight valiantly. Soon, the Ankorian knights were either dead, captured, or had run away. Fighting could still be heard in the rest of the city, and the small company of Dragons flew over head on their way to another hot spot. The men cheered, and then entered the castle, spreading out as they secured the Grand Hall and various points of strategic importance. The Ankorians were surrendering, knowing they could not continue the fight. Outside the city, General Giddious sat upon his large horse, overlooking the captured men from the camps. The majority of the fighting was over, and it looked that the day had been won. But did those in the throne room know that?...
  22. Don't look at me I had nothing to do with it! Talk to him! Who me? Yes you! Couldn't b- Not that again! Hey, it's not my fault these people aren't committed. Talk to the organiser. Is that me? I think so. Aren't we all the same person? Don't tell Lord Dragontater that. Right... You know I think that- For once could you not be in a conversation? Please? Oh all right then... Your so mean to me... Yeah, get off the poor guys back! Excuse me? Are you accusing me of- No he's not, now all of you cut it out. He started it. No, he did! Look, could you take it outside please? I'm getting a headache... Yeah, we haven't finished this stones game! And I was legitimately winning to! Oh not you too! *singing* It's so hard to escape the voices in your head. Shut it!
  23. The people were still in shock from this sudden event, and it took a moment for them to react. However, the body was soon thoroughly searched, and any alcoholic substances were removed. It was then discovered that the chef was indeed a loyalist. Hmmm, I might let his Lordship finish his game before I go tell him, he wont be happy at all... So... anybody know anything about cooking? (OOC: Just so nobody thinks I'm a crazy maniac prone to randomly killing off players ( Hehehe... ),, I thought I had better let you know that Hyphos has decided to leave the show due to his work commitments. We are sorry to see him leave without the grand prize, however he does get to take home this wonderful gift basket! )
  24. Warning: The following may contain shocking and explicit content. Not suited for those of a slightly unstable background. The people were sitting happily enjoying the delicious food. All except the cook. Ernest was not happy, not at all. The continuous suspicions laid against him had driven him to the point of insanity. He hated it. All he had wanted to be was a great cook. He'd hoped to open a little restaurant along the boulevard... But that was not to be. He had been insulted to many times. Now most recently was the helmet on his head. He could no longer stand the pressure. Ernest looked down on the Grand Hall for what he knew would be the last time. He leaned forward... Down below, Lord Savril was having a particularly intense conversation with Lady Dolores, while the Friar chatted with Rotrigous. Lunch was delicious! Suddenly a white blur crashed into the oaken table, sending wine, cutlery, greek salads, a large trifle, golden platers of fruit and nuts, wine, and two well hidden daggers flying through the air, making a terrible mess. What was more of a mess however was the broken, mangled body of the chef, known to the assembled people as Hyphos, lying amongst his art...
  25. You mean this isn't real? I don't believe you! Begone foul demon, your lies should not be heard! He was kidding right? I'm real. I know I am...
