This is really great Cakeman. All these Module Castles are really interesting, it's good to see lots of people are building these. I think you've done a nice job with a limited supply of bricks. That new skull looks cool, and I like the way you've designed the crenelations. All in all, well done indeed, and keep it up. I'm looking forward to this gatehouse.

Thanks for that Hinckley. This is the guy I made an order from, it should be arriving soon. He must have sold out of lots of those parts, as I didn't see many of them. I wouldn't have been able to afford it though, it's amazing how much things add up when you start buying 12 trans-clear spears and his last 4 trans-clear KK2 swords... I'll take a photo of my order when it arrives so you can all have something to drool over.

It's back, and most certainly well worth the wait! IA has been missed, and I'm glad to see it return in such style. Now, for some gloating: Hahaha! I knew that I, the almighty Lord Dragonator, would prevail! You should never have gone and disregarded my gracious offer last time. I'm sure you will all make the correct choice this time however. Escape is impossible, and only with me is there any safety for you. Now, onto this fantastic pilot episode: I like how you've tied off all the lose ends from last season, in a very pleasing manner (well, I think so, anyway ). I always feel a sense of pride looking at that monstrous machine of destruction, and seeing it bowl down my enemies is very pleasing indeed. The new characters are great, Colonel Kleb Miller is certainly my sort of jailer, and it's nice to see a crazy person included, you haven't had any of those yet, isn't that right Draggy? It most certainly is! *creepy laughter is heard* The prison is fantastic, displaying your great talents for Post-Apoc building, while delivering something very satisfying indeed. The fact that it is an old church is definitely something Lord Dragonator would do. :skull: It is well structured, and includes some great details. One of my favourites is those tall windows, the are not only reminiscent of a church, but also make very effective bars. Do I see ants? Excellent. This has all the details necessary for a Post-Apoc prison, it just looks awesome! One thing I think might have added to this would be to have some variation in the terrain, I enjoyed your sickly brown earth and slight elevations from some of the earlier MOCs. Still, it looks good, and I commend you on your efforts. You will be well rewarded once I RULE THE WORLD!!! Ahem. Now for the voting. Sheckle is obviously lying, don't trust a word he says. I think your best choice of action would be too... accept my Lord Dragonator's invitation. Yes. Definitely the best way to go, after what happened last time. For the second thing, there is no need to make tools for escape, as that is obviously impossible, and our dear Colonel might do something rash. However, you could always make friends with the crazy man if you really want to. I'm not quite sure how you can make yourself a better leg while in prison, but since you wont be running anywhere, there is no need too. Well, those are my completely unbiased views, good luck to you, and make sure you chose wisely. Batbrick, this has been an awesome start to the second season, thanks very much for your efforts, these are always a pleasure to read and give views on.

What's happening here! I may have kept you up late, but surely your not all still sleeping? Your all boring! BOOO!! A disgrace to the kingdom, the lot of you. One thing goes against your plans, and you all turn into silent vegetables! Well, Majiko might have had something to do with that... Sorry. Yes, well, do turn them back once you've had your fun. It might not go down well with the Broadcasting Standards Committee, you see. Oh all right. But they do look so much prettier like that, especially that large parsnip over there. And look at that pickle! Oh Mary, I never knew how lovely you truly were until this moment. Um, I think that might be Savvy... Still, it is a very nice looking pickle. Do you think I could- NO! Never that, please! I was only going to offer to change them back. Oh, really? I knew that. Ah, yes, please do. I never knew he had such a thing for vegetables. Neither did I. You are him. So are you. This is embarrassing, he's always the one that lets us down. And then everyone starts staring when I tell him off. It is a bit disconcerting for others when your telling yourself off. If it's any consolation, I'm sure some part of most people has a fetish for vegetables. Our part is just a bit bigger than most, and likes to talk to much. To right. But what can I do, he follows me everywhere! You have problems man. Yes, now shut it, people are staring. Most of them can't see the coloured lettering. What coloured lettering?

This is very cool SirJ, the minifig looks great, and from the sneak peeks, I can tell this upcoming MOC will be awesome! I love your landscaping, and I can't wait to see it complete.
-
Ah that's great! The river is very detailed with it's various different colours, I like that bit, it's different to the usual plain blue. It suggests something fast flowing, at least it does to me. The banks are very cool, well done on arranging all those tiles in such an interesting way. I love how the troll is holding such a huge tree, and the contrast between that and the little orc with it's stick is great! The bridge is also well built, with a very nice weathered effect to it. Overall, another fantastic MOC, SlyOwl.

The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy

I've been having some computer troubles, otherwise I would have been here sooner. This is definitely a great idea, and I would love to take part. I've never done any reviews before, but then, I sure do want to! Anyway, there's nothing to lose from doing it, and I'm sure it will be fun and interesting. So, count me in, and I look forward to my first day at my new school! -
You had a plan? Wow. That's amazing! Oh look, a note: Oh Lady Dolores, you are full of witty remarks, aren't you? It's not that noticeable is it? I thought the mints might be helpful... Haha, he got you. Really, your getting as bad as me, mother always said you probably would. At least I brush my teeth every night. You make no effort at all! Yeah, but then, I'm not the one clomping around on two legs am I? No, I guess not. Oh yes, stab at him as much as you like, that's what he's here for.

IMPORTANT: If you are not a participant in the game, then please do not post in the game. These threads are reserved for players only. …and that was when the dragons came down out of the north to put a stop to the evil invasion. Did you know that dragons can fly for days without rest? Well, it was because of… Lord Dragonator’s voice droned on as it had for the entire night. The people of the keep stood, or in some cases sat, around the Grand Hall in various states of consciousness. Some were asleep on their feet, while others were enjoying themselves immensely. After the lack of some sort of vote the previous day, Lord Dragonator had decided that the people needed to be taught a lesson. So, locking the doors of the Grand Hall, he had them stand around while he lectured them on how important it is to capture the traitors. This soon turned into a history lesson, and by the end of the night, everyone was sick of the numerous battles that Dragonator was reciting. He was like an encyclopaedia! After the first three hours, most people had stopped listening and started having there own conversations or doing… other things. Lord Dragonator continued, oblivious to his distracted audience. Eventually, the sun rose, and Lord Dragonator opened the doors to let breakfast in. The people sat down, weary after a sleepless night, many were very grumpy indeed! However, they were all determined that today, somebody would be convicted, for fear of another one of their insane host’s night time 'chats'… Characters: (in no particular order) Lord Dragonator (non player) Majiko the Wizard (non player) Lord Martin - deceased, condemned by vote Mike (a servant) - deceased, stabbed at night Ernest the Chef - deceased, committed suicide General Marcus - deceased, condemned by vote Michael (a soldier in the royal guard) Lord Savril Lord Ash - deceased, condemned by vote Lord Gary Lady Suzanne – deceased, condemned by vote Grim (head of the royal guard) - deceased, killed at night General Spencer - deceased, condemned by vote Mary (a maid) Paul (the cellar keeper) Daniel (a young squire) - deceased, crushed by a potato cart Rotrigous (king’s advisor) Calvin (a local fisherman) - deceased, condemned by vote Kyle (the castle torturer/executioner) Lieutenant Byron (of the royal guard) Friar Brown Damien (a doctor and herbalist) - deceased, condemned by vote Fred (a soldier in the royal guard) - deceased, condemned by vote Players: (in no particular order) 1. Today’s twist may have taken some of you by surprise, which is great! What’s the point in a game if everything happens how you want? Anyway, on the extra-curricular list, there is still the caption contest to take part in (link in my signature). The winners of the building challenge were TinyPiesRUs with the funniest entry, while Blocky took home not only the most interesting, but also the best overall. Congratulations to these two, and well done to everyone else who took part. Also, a VHC award goes to Shadows, who was the runner up in all three categories. I was planning on making this a big event with pictures and everything, but I’ve run out of time. Oh well. Good luck everyone, and remember, somebody must be voted off today! A majority of 5 is still required.

Your face takes things to the extreme. Well, I have some strong story on the way for you all, I'm typing it up now, and doing the editing etc. Hopefully it will be up soon. -
That's a very nice castle Teddy. I like the way you've done the arrow slits, and the way the towers have been designed works really well. I too would love to see some pictures of the interior and of the roof area. Nice work, keep at it!
-
Thanks for the great find Zeki! There's some nice little treasures in there, I'll definitely be getting one. Got to love the cat up the tree. The snowman looks good too, but where's its carrot nose?

The day was ending, and the people of the castle were ready for bed. However, nobody had been convicted... Um, is it just me, or has nobody been convicted? I don't think anyone's been convicted. Aha! Well you all know what that means. Random killing! :skull: But you promised not to randomly kill anyone. Oh yeah. Damn, well we shall just have to think of some other fitting punishment then, something which would really annoy them. Oh I know! *whispers* Great idea! Let's do that! And so Lord Dragonator turned to the people, and all was not good... Thanks all once again for your continued participation. I hope that tomorrow you come to some decision, otherwise things could get... messy. I hope your all still enjoying yourselves. This day can now be locked. Also, the voting for the Building Challenge has now officially closed, and tomorrow I will 'award' the prizes. Well, you know what I mean anyway. See you all on Day 12.

30% off! What store did you go too? Will the sale still be on now, or was it a one day sale? Now then, what have I bought recently. I just purchased a raffle ticket for the Comic Con Exclusive. But does that really count? Probably not. Anyway, a few days ago I made an order for some rare parts, including trans-clear spears and KK2 swords, a small white pine tree, red pistols, amongst other things. I look forward to receiving them, they cost both my arms, a leg, and some money as well! EDIT: Oh yes, and I just ordered my Premiium Edition Lego Collector's Book. The shipping cost more than the actual book, but hey, I think it will be worth it.

L7 Dratos; The Royal Library (Please note that Dratos is the name of the Capital City, while Dragons Keep is just the main building. The Royal Library are located elsewhere in the city.) Lord Dragonator sat in a small corner, reading an ancient tome by the light of one of the libraries special lanterns. Nearby, on the edge of the light, a librarian stood, ready if she was needed. The small circle of light reached only a few metres, enough to illuminate the oak desk and two leather armchairs. Beyond stretched the long rows of shelves containing the most precious scrolls known to man. The Royal Library was the largest in the known world, containing the surviving fragments of works dating back as far as the great Agaetian Empire itself and beyond. It's accumulated wealth of knowledge filled a huge building; The Royal Library of Dratos, one of the largest buildings in the kingdom. It was a true sight to behold, with towering pillars lining the entrance and a beautiful golden dome, dominating the cities skyline. Inside, row upon row of endless shelves contained the many treasures of the world; poetry, history, epics, all types of literature were present. On the upper floors, the records of the city were kept, including taxes, accounts of battles, and all sorts of other such things. This was a much more restricted area, where only the more senior nobles and officials were allowed. Then again, even the floors below were not open to everyone; the library was well guarded and only those with business there were allowed in at all. Below the library, a number of special restricted rooms existed, containing the greatest treasures of the kingdom, as well as many different works which were either too dangerous or two precious to be kept upstairs. These rooms were kept in darkness at all hours to protect the fragile scrolls and tomes kept there. It was here that Lord Dragonator was found by General Marcus. It was pitck black, despite being midday. My Lord, how go things? Fine Marcus, do sit down. The court is back, unfortunately, which is going to lead to a lot of trouble for us. Yes, tomorrow I must give an account of the events of the past month to the entire aristocracy. This could lead to a civil war. I wish he had just named some relative as the next king, it would save all this trouble. But you are definitely the best person for it! That may be so, but I'm not of the royal family, which means that I cannot be king according to law. Well, we can deal with that tomorrow. What are you reading? It's an account of a battle between two ambitious Warlords, dating to 357 AE. It's quite interesting, I thought it would take my mind off things. Yes, indeed. I though I'd also best inform you that the Ankorians have been marched off back to their boarders in shame. Well, the normal soldiers anyway, we've kept most of their high command here, as prisoners. Not only will that hopefully weaken their military and prevent another invasion any time soon, but they will make useful bargaining chips if we ever need them. Yes, that is good. We had better start preparing things for tomorrow. I have some letters here I would like you to deliver to some of the High Lords... The discussion continued, with Lord Dragonator and General Marcus quietly discussing their plans for the coming day...

You might also see that I said I would do something equally horrible. I haven't specified what that something might be, so hopefully your imaginations will do the rest. I have a right mind to randomly kill you off right now, with this large fire tong up your- Draggy, please try to keep it clean, for the youngsters. What, the squire died days ago! And who are you calling Draggy? *Silence* Oh OK then, and I guess I did promise. Still, it would have made an interesting scene for tomorrows MOC.

Oh no, I certainly don't mean you in that group. I've read through your Western Mafia threads, and you were an excellent host. In fact, I think most people on EB would be good hosts, as I don't know a single person on here who I would consider boring. Might you perhaps be thinking of doing another one once Mystery Castle finishes? I would love to play in one of your games. It's fun being the host, but then, it's also really fun being a character too. Oh yes, and it's good to try and avoid random killing if at all possible. Damn I forgot you could do that. Oh wait, I just got a note: What, that's a bit lame, and doesn't even make sense! You sure are crazy Lady Dolores, or whoever you are... -

Thanks Blocky for your kind words, I feel much better now. I'm glad your enjoying it, and it's good to see that you at least appreciate the work I'm putting into this. Yes, a good idea, and next time I might just put it in the rules. However, I have already stated that I won't kill anyone tonight. That doesn't mean I won't do something equally horrible if nobody is voted off today though. -

Get lost. That's OK buddy, I don't mind that much. It's good that you have an opinion, and I appreciate the feedback. I do admit I am bit more involved in the game than many hosts. But I'm not just your average host now, am I? I've tried making it a different experience for everyone by giving subtle clues etc. and I think it's been working. I like to think of myself as a change from those boring hosts which never say anything and are complete control freaks. Well, perhaps that last bit isn't quite true, but you know what I mean. Also, I like being involved. It's no fun being left out. That's why I look forward to taking a break from being the host after this game finishes and taking part in someone else's game, before I return to try out another one of these. -
Well, I've got my ticket, and sent my PM. I'm really looking forward to the draw! Thanks very much to the staff for organising this, I would never be able to afford this set otherwise, so I'm glad to be able to get a ticket, and help support EB at the same time.

Don't you start telling me how to run my game too. Soon everyone's going to be saying how they think things should be done! Anyway, as you may know, if nobody is voted for, then the game doesn't progress. Therefore in Day 10 I made a little threat to make sure the game kept flowing. Of course, I would never have carried it out, because that would be unfair, but it sure did the trick. You should have seen the looks on their faces! Or at least I would have liked to, it would have kept me laughing for days! I would never be unfair to a player however, everyone has an equal chance of winning when they start, it all comes down to how well they play the game. Did anyone honestly think I would sit down with a die and eliminate someone? Well, now that you mention it, I guess some people did, but hey, I know that I would never do that. You may recall that I often give out hints, whether they be true or false, about the players. This is to challenge them to defend themselves. Otherwise, what would there be to talk about? Despite this though, as the game host, I have every right to run this game as I please. So there. But I would hope that you would trust me enough to run this game without needing to have someone else tell me what to do every 5 minutes. I'm sick of it! Did you not enjoy yourself? From what I can see, every one else is, despite IS's complaints. If nobody's having fun, then we should cancel the game right now, and say no more about it. I was hoping to run another one sometime in the future, but obviously nobody likes the way I do things... Oh well, I'll just go curl up in a hole somewhere... *snivel* -

Who said I was going to kill anyone? Have I ever killed anyone randomly? No. Not at all. I have a right mind to kill someone just because you suggested I would ever do such a thing! -
And now for a castle update. Current votes are as follows: Cpt. Pegleg Blockbeard (Lt. Byron): 1 Trexxen (Kyle): 3 Lady Dolores (castle spirit): 2 Remember, a majority vote of 5 is required.

Opps, sorry, I meant 100 ants. Not quite as bad as 200 ants. Still, I have plans for those trans-clear spears, for a MOC, and so I need them. It was one of those impulse decisions that you think yourself crazy for making afterwards, but hey, how many people can say they own trans-clear spears, aye? I'm thinking of getting some LifeLites and trying some tests out. So, it was actually around 100 ants = 10 spears. Not as bad I guess... Yeah, I know, I'm crazy.
