  1. Very cool indeed. You've used some nice techniques to get the effect you wanted, and the design of the whole thing is wicked! I love the arched front, that is very cool. The priest and collectors are nice touches too, as well as the cross and alter etc. Very well done.
  2. Oh man. I guess it was to much to hope for though. Tell me, are any of them MISB, or are they all second hand? And for that matter then, do they all have their boxes etc?
  3. What was that you say? Don't you worry, I'll be back to haunt you in MCII. Talking of MCII, planning is going great, and I can tell you now that there will be some great content for you to enjoy. I'm going to have to get to work on the building soon if I'm going to have it ready in time.
  4. Oh come on! It is obvious that he is lying! Seizures. Pfft, my dead grandmother could come up with a better excuse. Well your right, we should give him a fair trial. But unless I am mistaken, he will simply make up more silly lies, instead of giving us some truth. Mr. Mayor, it would so you much better to simply tell us the truth than to continue lying. I still what to know those details about what you were doing last night. Where did you look? When did you return home?
  5. Very true Blocky, very true. I'll shut up now, shall I?
  6. Well now this does look interesting. I don't have many pirate sets, so I will definitely be giving this contest a shot. There will be some tough competition, but I will certainly enjoy it.
  7. I do not agree, we are ganging up on the mayor because there was a sinister reason behind him wanting to shot Neal, or so I believe. However I do not see any reason as to why we should suspect whoever shoots him, unless he is a citizen, in which case it may or may not effect the proceedings. But I highly doubt he is a citizen. Hang on, why am I talking to you about this? Your dead... aren't you? Or am I seeing things? This whole thing is very confusing.
  8. I'll be your lawyer Mr. Mayor. As for your 'seizures', I think you are lying through your teeth! megablocks to your seizures! These seem to me to be very lame excuses for such a prominent action. I am myself almost entirely convinced you are a Baritone. Of course, if I turn out to be wrong, then I certainly wont be happy, however I do not think I am wrong. Now, you say you were looking for Neal's camera. May I ask exactly where you looked, and when you returned home? Oh, and you can have your money back. There is no way in hell I'm accepting a drink from a baritone. You bastards just don't know when to stop! My poor sister. I do hope you were not involved in her death Mr. Mayor, but unfortunately all the evidence is pointing to you, and there isn't much to support your claims. This whole business with you and Neal is in itself enough to condemn you. I do feel that my vote will stand, you have offered no defence that I find legitimate. Hey, that's not nice. I thought you liked lawyers...
  9. Betty, if you say one more thing about advertising, I'm going to hit you. Stop trying to distract us, it isn't doing you any good. As you know, we have more important things to worry about, like interrogating the mayor. I don't believe a word of it. How can you accidentally shoot someone? May I ask what you were doing last night Mr. Mayor? I would be interested to know... Ah yes, and trying to put the blame on another is a sure sign of guilt in my book. I see it all the time, back in the courts. We will keep an eye on Veronica, but you have a few more things to explain first. I want an answer to my question Mr. Mayor, and I want it now!
  10. Ah right. Sorry for getting all hard on you there, I thought there must be some sinister meaning why you were ignoring the evidence. Glad to hear your business is doing well at least, that is good news. (OOC: As a note, for your vote to count, it must be bold. )
  11. It is very easy for someone to say one thing and yet intend to do another. In fact, I would have to say that our Mayor is not much different to most politicians. Anyway, the evidence is there, and if you can't see it, then you must have some reason not to. What are you hiding Betty? Is your tax business not going so well any more? Do you owe money to the Baritones, and are you even now betraying us to try and stay in their good books? Is this why you have been so desperate for clients? If so, I am disgusted. Do not let the Baritones bully you Betty. You must stand up for justice and the truth. The law must be maintained, and these Baritones will feel the hand of the law, if not today, then tomorrow. However, if you are a Baritone... well, I certainly hope, for your sake, that you are not...
  12. Dear lord what ungodly things are happening! It appears we have caught our first Baritone, which is great, and we now have a lot to think on. Al, although a traitor, was still a citizen, so it is a sad loss. These papers are also something fr us to look into, but first I would like to address what my dear departed sister had to say. I find a lot of her evidence to be substantial and conclusive. In fact, I myself was thinking a fair bit along those lines as well, and if she hadn't said it already, I would certainly have told you all. It is an obvious clue that the Mayor shot Neal before he could say he was FBI. Indeed, if te mayor knew the first two agents, he surely would know this one. The utter bastard! To think that our supposed 'good' mayor is in fact a nasty Baritone, and responsible, in some part, for the death of my dear sister. It is horrible! I feel that I must indeed support my family, and I to will Vote: The Mayor (ptdapen). As a member of the great court of law, I see enough evidence for us to condemn this man as none other than the bastard he is. To hell with him! Let us rid this town of these Baritone bastards for ever! Now, I'm, going to go have a little 'chat' with these construction workers and see if we can't perhaps come to a compromise. After all, we've killed the person that would pay them, and it's not like the Baritones even own this land in the first place. This is our land, and we shall defend it! Besides, unless the Mayor is a Baritone, which I most certainly now believe he is, they would not be able to get council consent to start tearing down public buildings! Therefore, for them to be doing so, the Mayor has to be a traitor! It all makes so much sense! Also, there is the issue with Carter. Obviously he is a 'traitor' as we call it, but I believe that the traitors are still citizens, just ones that are being forced by the Baritones to do other than they wish. But we must fight the Baritones! If any of the rest of you are in the same situation as Carter and poor Al was, then speak up, for we can help. The Baritones will not get a chance to hurt us if we unite together against them. The only way to defeat them is to work together people! I need a drink!!
  13. I don't know how I missed this topic, but I'm here now. Most certainly I agree! This is an awesome set, and fantastic for building up your dragon army. I myself unfortunately only have one of this set, and that without the box, but still, I love it. It is small, and simple, but it has some awesome accessories, and of course, it has a dragon! Just to insert myself into the conversation, I myself am a lover of all dragons, and I think they all have there advantages. The small ones are great for interaction with minifigs, especially in such things as comics etc, while the viking dragons have a lot of articulation. The new ones are a bit bulky for my taste, but still have a nice size, although I think they could have been a bit more articulated for the size of them. What I really love are brick built dragons, some people are just masters at creating brick-built creatures, and I adore the various dragons I see about the place for their cunning designs and beauty.
  14. You better not be trying to say anything, punk. I agree, that... thing... has already been haunting me for a while after Mystery Castle, and then I see it again! It's just to much! Right, well this is fun and all, but we really shouldn't be discussing the game outside the day thread, otherwise we'll have all sorts of random people trying to tell us who to vote for. I've got a few theories I'm going to share tomorrow, Darlene really is one for procedure. EDIT: Oh, and how could I forget, welcome WhiteFang, it is a pleasure to have you along! I am sure you will help us immensely, as long as you aren't one of the dreaded Baritones. I certainly hope you aren't, for your sake.
  15. Well it looks like we screwed things up this time. I'm going to be having some serious words with some people tomorrow, we must find the Baritones, and I have a few suspicions now. Ah well, life must go on. PS. You know, 13 is actually a lucky number, for dragons at least.
  16. Darlene walks over and punches Al in the arm. I warned you, no more off-topic advertising! Some of us are trying to think here! This whole situation with Neal is very difficult. It seems to me that we are taking a stab in the dark here, as there is no conclusive evidence that suggests Neal is a traitor. If he is, then all well and good, but if not, then things get a little uncertain. I personally cannot figure out which side he is on, but I know that if he is a citizen, then we will have lost another fellow friend. Let us tread carefully please, we cannot afford to lose any more citizens needlessly.
  17. Why thank you Petey, that's very kind of you. Well, I didn't really expect anyone to own up. Oh well, now the searching begins. What you say is right, Mr. Mayor, or should I say, Petey. It will be hard for us to find solid evidence, however we should hopefully be able to find something. Remember, a person is innocent until proven guilty. Oh, and it's Darlene. I may be a silly girl, but hopefully I can help you all find the Baritones. After what they did to my sister, I want to find the bastards just as much as the rest of you. I may look sweet, but remember, I'm a lawyer, and we know how to play dirty if necessary. I think that's the only way we're going to get these Baritones. Unfortunate as it may be, we need to vote for someone today, and we need to do it soon. Otherwise, all we have to look forward to is another night in which the Baritones control all.
  18. Mr. Mayor! It's good to see someone of authority in this place. I have a few suggestions. Firstly, I think we need to look into the facts a little further. We must all remember that there are Baritones amoungst us, and they will be trying to mislead us by obscuring the evidence. We must find truth and facts, not just a few whims and opinions. Mr. Mayor, we need to focus our attentions not only on the people cuurrently being accused, but on the accusers themselves as well. In truth, every person present should be subject to investigation. To be fair, we must follow proceedures. Now, would anybody like to admit to being a Baritone? Don't be shy, if you give yourselves up now, we will be merciful. If not, then expect nothing but death and eternity in Hell to await you.
  19. I'll have you know that beneath this pretty exterior there is a strong, 21st century woman ready stand up for herself! Do not under estimate the power of a dress! I'm a lawyer you know. Moonlight has need of my talents! Besides, look who's talking Mr. Mandy Lori Ann.
  20. For God's sake people, we need to do something constructive here! I will personally hit the next person that makes some stupid off-topic comment about their business and whatnot. My sister is dead! And half of you still think that sitting around and talking is going to solve everything! We - are - not - safe. Not until those Bastards are all dead. So, stop the commercials, and lets find these murderers, this scum of society. I am starting to suspect that some people are purposefully trying to mislead us... If anyone gets between me and the ones that killed my dear sister, I promise you, I will have no mercy upon you. I may sound harsh, but this is a life and death situation. If we do not catch the Baritones immediately, then more of us will die. I am not normally one to get angry, but I am annoyed that we are getting nowhere here! Somebody get me a drink God damn it!! Thanks Iris, I appreciate it. It is good that you are wary of strangers, we cannot truly trust anyone right now, but I vow that when all this is over, you and I will sit down over something strong and have a nice chat. If it weren't for the Baritones, I think we could be friends. I agree, it is time for action. However I am a little sceptical of your arguements. You seem to be reading a lot into nothing. Personally, I think we need to find a bit more evidence before we condemn Neal. We cannot afford to lose anymore innocent citizens. So Neal, I ask you this. Where were you last night, and what do you know about the killings? Where you involved in any way? Tell me the truth, and you will be helping us all hugely. But I want answers, and I will not rest until I get them. Very true Neal, we cannot afford to be rash in our decisions. I want a bit more evidence before I convict you. I hope you have some good defence however. As a lawyer, I have a fair idea of what evidence would be necessary in a court of law, and frankly, at the moment, the evidence given is very weak indeed. Well, I'm getting a little flustered. Please excuse me while I make a quick trip to the ladies room...
  21. Yep, that's my Florence, always caring for others, and never worrying about herself. You towns folk had better be bloody grateful, 'cause without her doing such a noble thing, it would be one of you lot lying dead in a pool of blood, and not my beloved sister. I hope you all remember her sacrifice this day. I know that she would want us to find the bastards that did this. And when we do... well, they will feel the full force of a woman of the law coming down upon them. But now, enough talk, we must take action. It is an unfortunate fact, but some of those amongst us are the very bastards that committed this dastardly crime. They will be using all the tactics they possible can to try and stay hidden, but we can, no, we must find them. So, to start with, I want to know where everyone was last night. This may not be a court of law, but by God justice will be delivered, if not today, then tomorrow. This I promise.
  22. Indeed, well said! Let us catch the bastards! Darlene also tosses back the Scotch, and places the glass on the table. Best not to smash all your glassware in one day, aye Ivan? I thank you for the offer of rooms, I will most certainly stay here. I am not sure I will be able to rest though, not until we find my sister's killers. I would be happy to help with the restaurant, it would be what Florence wanted. I swear that we will fight our hardest to find these bloody bastards, these Baritones. It is a sad state that this town has come to, when one cannot even trust ones own neighbour. However, we shall fight one. I think the best thing to do for now is to get some breakfast, and then we must gather all the information we can.
  23. Who are you? Me and Ivan here are having a private conversation about revenge and whatnot. Have some pitty dear lady, my sister has just been brutally murdered for God's sake! Now, I'm not normally one to jump to conclusions and all, being a lawyer, but you don't appear to be wearing any pants... this town really has gone crazy! What's your name? I'm Darlene, Florence's sister. You know, the one that got shot last night. *sob* I'm in a bit of a state at the moment, so my apologies if I have offended you. It's just... it's such a shock, coming to visit my sister and finding her... dead. I still can't believe it. I'm not normally one to drink, especially in the morning, but I think under the circumstances Ivan and I have a right to drink as much as we like. I don't much feel like going in the pub either though, hopefully Ivan will have a bottle or two in the cupboard upstairs.
  24. (OOC: I presume they are all citizens, Baritones aren't likely to kill off themselves. ) All this death... What has this once magical little city come to? Ivan, I need that whiskey, and fast! This is more intense than a normal day at the courts, and that's saying something, by God it is! This is going to be hard, finding the bastards that did this, but we will, I know we will. We must not give up hope, no matter how dismal the task, no matter what the cost may be. We - will - find - them! And they will pay dearly for what they have done to us, for the hurt and the suffering they have caused! Now, first things first, get me that drink!
  25. No, of course your not. I'll keep him in mind. You know, I think we should take him out even if he didn't do it. It might save us in the long run. Although last I heard, he was off checking out some new outpost with his Lordship. He might not come back, knowing them. We can always hope.
