Mystery Castle - Building Challenge VOTING
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks very much Quarryman for these thumbnails, I'm sure they will be helpful to our voters. Also a big thanks to Blocky, you also did some great thumbnails for me, although I didn't think we would need them twice. Now, where are all the voters? Come in people, and tell us what you think! I hope Ragnir didn't scare everyone off... -
IMPORTANT: If you are not a participant in the game, then please do not post in the game. These threads are reserved for players only. After an extended period of sickness, Lord Dragonator was finally able to rejoin the people of the keep, in time to hear the outcome of the voting. Night commenced, and not much at all happened. In the morning, the real fun began. Lord Dragonator was in a rage, accusing all sorts of people of poisoning his food, from the staff to the guards. It was found that it was indeed food poisoning, simply because of under-cooked chicken. For some reason, nobody could find Majiko anywhere. When I find that magician, I tell you, he better have a bloody good spell to get out of this one alive! On to other matters, Kyle was having great difficulty figuring out how to kill Lady Suzanne, since she was a Lady and all. His problems were solved however, as it was found in the morning that she had poisoned herself with herbs from her own garden. After a thorough investigation, Lady Suzanne was found to be a traitor. The people were very pleased. But now they were stuck. Gathering in the Grand Hall, they awaited Ragnir, who accordingly had some questions to ask… Characters: (in no particular order) Lord Dragonator (non player) Majiko the Wizard (non player) Lord Martin - deceased, condemned by vote Mike (a servant) - deceased, stabbed at night Ernest the Chef - deceased, committed suicide General Marcus - deceased, condemned by vote Michael (a soldier in the royal guard) Lord Savril Lord Ash - deceased, condemned by vote Lord Gary Lady Suzanne – deceased, condemned by vote Grim (head of the royal guard) - deceased, killed at night General Spencer - deceased, condemned by vote Mary (a maid) Paul (the cellar keeper) Daniel (a young squire) - deceased, crushed by a potato cart Rotrigous (king’s advisor) Calvin (a local fisherman) - deceased, condemned by vote Kyle (the castle torturer/executioner) Lieutenant Byron (of the royal guard) Friar Brown Damien (a doctor and herbalist) - deceased, condemned by vote Fred (a soldier in the royal guard) Players: (in no particular order) 1. Our resident painter will be along soon with the header, and a few pieces Ragnir requested. He has some serious questions to ask some people, although funnily enough only those who didn’t enter the contest… Good luck, and remember to vote in the Building Challenge for your favourites!

Oh be sure, I certainly will. It's a bit of a project for me, which I'm also doing work for the EBRP in, so it is all fun. Eventually I'll work out details and hopefully make some great stories and MOCs depicting the Dragon Civilization, dragons and my other race before humans came along. Then there's all the ones that can be made of once humans arrived! Oh what fun indeed. Really, I am a bit of dragon scholar, I enjoy writing about them, they're just so great! Yes, I'm addicted, so what? You yourself are full of some excellent ideas too, I have enjoyed talking of them with you. I myself would love to see you take part in the EBRP and look forward to seeing what other neat stuff you produce, dragon-related or otherwise! We're a great community here, I hope you find yourself welcome and come to call us all friends. Right, unfortunately I must call it a night, I have to go post Day 9 of Mystery Castle for all my adoring contestants. If you like you should have a read of those too, they're very funny and it is a great game. Perhaps you would be interested in taking part in a future one? We people of the castle forum have all sorts of fun stuff to take part in, so be on the look out! EDIT: Opps, sorry Shoc, I missed you. I wouldn't say arguer, more just someone with a very clear viewpoint. I enjoy discussing it, it's nice to see what others think. Oh and I certainly agree, I want to see more of these awesome little ""Royal Archive" thingies", they're very cool, well laid out, and give a nice summary of what the scholars think.
-
Oh thanks. Don't think of your writing as filled with mistakes though, never that, but rather as something with a different opinion to mine. I like it, it gives me something to talk about. I don't expect it to fit in with my view, rather I just want to look at it and see where my views agree with yours, and where they don't, thus making a fun little discussion on my favourite beings. This I can understand, as it is one of the most common views of dragons that I see. Your idea follows the right lines and works great with what Lego is trying to say, and I certainly respect that. However my particular take goes a lot deeper. I have a very unique view you see, in which I beleive that dragons are in fact far more intelligent than us, which is contrary to almost all other types f opinions I have seen. To me, a dragon is a compex being, with immense knowledge and wisdom, and love to talk, create, and do 'civilised' things (of course, never where humans can see). I'm not trying to make out that dragons are big softies however, in fact, it is their fiery tempers and menacing demeanour that I love so much. I certainly agree that in the current time (that is medieval times by the way, not now literally), dragons are very solitary creatures, and do indeed cause chaos. However they have a very rich history, one which gives them good reason to have a certain dislike of humans and human society, well most anyway. There are those humans that they see as being akin with their oldest companions (which I mentioned before but don't actually have a good name for yet ), and these are the ones they chose to befriend. Here I must say that my view greatly differs from yours. In my humble opinion, dragons do infact have a love for society, or at least once did. Right now, they are known for attacking humans and seeking destruction of what we call 'civilised society', but this is not a hate of organised society itself, but rather of humans and their society (in the EBRP, I take a slightly different stance since there is a whole kingdom dedicated to dragons, in which the dragons are in fact friendly to this group, well some anyway, while the other kingdoms still have the usual troubles etc). Long before humans were ever around, dragons used to be far more numerous, and lived together with their loyal and caring 'human-like-creatures-which-I-really-need-a-name-for'. They lived in huge cities and along with their fellow friends, created creat works of art and wrote the greatest of stories. Of course, there society was not perfect, and there were wars. To make a long story short, humans came along and gradually took over, and dragon society almost entirely disappeared, along with 'their friends'. I kind of touch on this in my summary of the history of the Dragon Masters Kingdom in the EBRP. It goes much more detailed of course, but you wont want to hear all that now. This may seem like a weird sort of view to you, but it is what I think dragons truly are, rather than what we think of them. As humans, we come to believe ourselves to be the greatest, and with our biased attitudes deem dragons to simply be another creature of the world. However I am trying t show that they in fact have a unique and beautiful culture which is in itself almost lost to the world. The chaotic dragons you speak of are those that know only a hate of humans, and have never met their fellow dragons nor learned their own beautiful ways of life, being forced to live in caves, remembering only the common history that all dragons know from their eggs. So as you can see, rather than thinking of dragons as chaotic and spiteful, with only one or two exeptions, I see them as a dying race, with dwindling numbers, that is now mainly forced to turn its great energies to violence and killing rather than to beauty and harmony, simply because we humans have stolen everything they ever had. Very different to the idea you've put forward I know, however they do actually tie together; my long and boring explaation simply gives a different explanation for what most humans assume is simply part of a dragons nature. That certainly sounds interesting. I haven't played any games in quite a while, although I do enjoy them, I just haven't had time really. I'll look into it though. Thanks for talking, it is a pleasure! I hope my ideas aren't too wacky for you! It has been fun to have a proper discussion about dragons, it unfortunately happens very rarely on these boards, despite my attempts. EDIT: Oh look, more comments while I was typing. Just quickly, don't think I'm trying to force my view on you, I agree that there is no right or wrong answer, as WhiteFang said. But my answer is closest to right, of course. Oh, and you would be great in the EBRP if your interested, hop over and have a look, it's really fun! Right, enough from me for the moment, I don't want everyone to drown in my mindless drivel. Perhaps I do get a little carried away sometimes...

Oh a dragon topic! I love these things!! I'm looking forward to a very long, in-depth discussion. Hope you don't mind. I was wondering why I woke up with a headache... (Funniest thing I've read all day by the way. That and the bit about Dragon Senses tingling, now that was hilarious! Man I must seem insane to some of you! Maybe I am... ) Go Dragons!! Yloquen, welcome to the world my Fan club! Your our most recent member, be proud! Once your in, its addictive. Take a pamphlet, sit ye on down, and have fun! This is great, I love it when I see people doing Dragon promotion work! Excellent indeed! Soon they will rule the world once again!!! (Oh, I must say now that I usually get a bit carried away when talking about dragons, and will, steering away from my usual calm and solemn self, most likely use far to many exclamation marks and act like a total fan boy. My views are also pretty, um, radical sometimes, so if I step over the line and cause offence, please tell me immediately, as I most certainly do not intend too. Right, explanation over, on to dragon talk!) This is an excellent piece of writing, well laid out and with some excellent photos and story. Anything about dragons is amazing in my book! We all have different ways of interpreting dragons, how we see them, how we think they would behave etc, and I enjoy seeing what other people think of these great, noble creatures; whether they think they are simply dumb beasts of little importance ( Death to anyone who thinks that), to whether they think they are the smartest, most intelligent beings ever to roam this Earth, and should be worshipped and praised for there greatness (anyone who thinks this is most definitely a true fan boy. Bit like me really. ). Indeed, there will always be conflicts in view, but it is fun to debate them. Now, with my radical outlook, let's have a nice little look at some of what you've said shall we, and see what we agree and disagree on... Perhaps this could become a fun discussion of our interpretations? I haven't had a good, in-depth discussion on dragons in ages! It's almost as if nobody cares... This looks to me, from first glance, as an excellent summary of dragons in relation to the current fantasy line. Of course, there is always a need to adapt anything to fit into a different situation, for example in a scenario where other breeds of dragons are present, such as in the EBRP, where we have three breeds represented by the different types of Lego dragon. There is so much that can be said about dragons, indeed one day I would like to sit down and write a ton about them, such as about how once they lived in cities greater and more beautiful than anything seen by man, etcetera, etcetera. In the meantime, let's talk about your particular interpretation of a very controversial part of dragon society, dragon riders, and contact with humans. I most certainly agree with what you are saying in the entire first paragraph. Well done indeed! The particular breed of dragons you are detailing is very faithful, and enjoy the company of humans immensely (although they used to more enjoy the company of another mysterious race of beings, at least they will do in the EBRP, but more on that at a later date (you know, I say that a lot )). You have a gripping style of writing, right from the first sentence I liked it. I like your idea of "The Dragon Oath", seems very Eragon-like almost, but a bit different, which I like. I particularly enjoy that you have named the riders "companions" in a couple of places, rather than masters etc. This is what I truly think of as a bond between a dragon and a human, one between equals (with the dragon being dominant, of course ). What do you think about breeds? As I see it, in terms of Lego, there are three distinct breeds, the classic dragons, or 'Draco Migrus' as I have called them in the RP, the Viking dragons, or the 'Draco Famen', and the newer dragons, which I named the 'Draco Creber'. These names are translations from Latin for different forms of dragons, so I thought they might be suitable. Now riders, they have always been a difficulty. You see, I view dragons as a free beings, which can make there own choices, and have such superior intelligence (remember that little book about a certain Hitch Hiker's Guide? On the scales of intelligence, humans were 3rd, dolphines were second, that was right, but dragons should have been first, he got that bit wrong. ) that they have no need to answer to humans (of course, this is not saying they are beyond mistake, and some dragons are smarter than others. Some are just plain stupid sometimes, which I really hate to admit, but there is always a downside to any species.). However, I believe that dragons have always been a lonely and solitary race, and crave to share there knowledge and experience with someone of another species altogether. Now, looking at your second paragraph, I think your first statement is a little limiting. Certainly there are many other types of dragons that are able to befriend humans, and all dragons are intelligent enough for air-combat etc, that comes naturally. They certainly need no training from humans, in my opinion. As I think you are meaning this particular document to be in reference only to the current fantasy line dragons, and not any others, I think it fits fine, however if it were to be applied to a wider grouping, then it is a little limiting. Just my thoughts. I'm starting to ramble, so on to the next bit. Paragraph three doesn't really mention dragons, so we'll skip that and move on to the fourth, and most controversial in my opinion, paragraph. I, personally, do not like the second statement, where you refer to these dragons as having "abandoned all wisdom" and "embraced the chaotic nature that is inherent to all dragons". Oh dear (I'm sorry, wrong answer, time for our next contestant. ). Well, to me, this seems a little wrong, no offence is meant at all, but I don't think this seems right. IN the context of the fantasy era line from Lego, I guess it is, but I like to think a bit more in depth. For example, I do not think that the dragons are abandoning wisdom at all. No, there is always a better explanation. At one point, we all thought that perhaps the dragons had been tricked, and were being used against their wills by the sorcery of an evil wizard. There are other options however. Perhaps the dragons see that what the so-called evil-wizard is fighting for is a good course, and so join with him to try and show that feeling. The wizard is only evil in the eyes of the opposing side remember, to him and his followers, the crownies (in this case) are in fact the evil ones, and he is fighting for good. Then there is of course the promise of gold and riches, which no dragon, and me as well, could ever resist. It's just to tempting! As for a chaotic nature, that is and isn't true. It is true indeed that dragons are born predators, meant to rule as the dominant species. They will fight, and they certainly enjoy it. However there are of course all the other many dragons who would prefer to talk rather than fight, and who create amazing works of art and write epic tales of noble hero's. Well, that's just some food for thought anyway, make of it what you will. I'm probably going far too deep for what this particular piece of work is intended, so don't think of what I am saying as criticism, but rather as an extension of discussion. I f you've managed to read it all, I'm already impressed! Now, to me, your piece of work is truly outstanding in describing dragons in relation to the current fantasy era line from Lego. Although I have said I don't agree with much of what you have said, remember that that is a more general view; I think you have done an excellent job on this section of dragon teaching, and it is a great piece for people only wanting a general idea of current dragons to read. I will hold it as one of a few select writings on dragons that I truly think are worthy of some well-deserved praise. However in more detailed discussion, I just had to give my viewpoint, as is natural. I hope you can take something from my comments, and perhaps tell me a bit more about what you think yourself. I would love to hear! Right, once again, well done, and I look forward to seeing more! Hopefully you'll be interested in what I've written, but if not, then that's fine, just ignore it as the ramblings of a very enthusiastic dragon fan boy. -ator

Right, the almighty Mystery CastleTM Building Challenge is now coming to an end, and it is my great pleasure to invite you, the community, to vote for your favourite vignette! That's right, unlike most other Mystery Castle threads, this one is open to the entire community! Ain't I generous or what? Anyway, come on in, sit down (not in the armchair though, that's mine), have a drink and a quick chat, and cast that vote! Then get out. Hehe, sorry people, Draggy there was only joking, don't take him seriously, he's crazy. I'm not crazy, and stop calling me Draggy! Your only encouraging IS... I know. Now, despite my apparent perkiness, I am in fact dreadfully ill, so I haven't got round to doing any of the fancy presentation things I would have liked to do, such as the thumbnails. Sorry guys. Instead, you can view all the entries in the entries thread. Here is a nice big link so you don't miss it: Link to the Entries Right, that's about it for now, so get voting, and enjoy looking at the creative creations of our living and deceased contestants. As a reminder, Ragnir has decided to flame all the people who didn't enter and are still alive, sorry guys, nothing I can do! Yes, that's right! I have some questions for you all tomorrow when Day 9 starts... Hang on, why is it that this is the first tome I've said anything, considering I'm supposed to be running this contest? I feel dejected... Oh, sorry mate, I think our script guy is sick too. And the director. And the producer. The camera man and lighting crew are heaving up out back, so that's why it's pretty dark in here. I think pretty much everyone is a bit ill. Isn't that because they're all the same person? Correct! Oohh my stomach. How about you introduce all the entries, and then we'll call it a night. Day 9 can wait for tomorrow... OK, you go get some rest. The entries are as follows: First up is WhiteFang with his solemn chapel scene. Next in, Trexxen presented his Potato Cart (of Death). Then came Blocky Captain Pegleg Blockbeard with his Tower of Power "Life of Brian Byron" Ritz, known to the rest of us as ImperialShadows, our celebrity guest on the show, presented us with his vignette "No One Suspected". Continuing the tower theme came I Scream Clone with his Tower. Zepher next brought along his "Deaths of the Kitchen!!!!". Another Tower then arrived on the scene, this one from Adam. TinyPiesRUs presented a twist in the plot with his vignette on a certain someone's personality crisis... Lastly, Dovchenko entered his vignette, "The Tower of Lord Dragonator". Right, well that's everyone. Vote for your favourite now, and please, leave feedback and comments, the more the merrier. I know our host certainly needs cheering up at the moment, so give us your opinions and he'll be thrilled. That's it from us for the moment, we'll be back tomorrow with a new day. And I'll eventually get around to telling you all who I voted for. I might wait a bit first though. Until next time, this is Mystery Castle, Goodnight! (or at least for me anyway ). You know you just ruined that ending with the little added comment at the end, don't you? Yeah, whatever... *The signal slowly fizzles out, meaning that no lawsuits can be made by other EBTV Channels...*

Mystery Castle - Building Challenge Discussion
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Right everyone, thanks for all your entries so far! This is just a quick reminder that you have only 6 hours left before the entries close. So get them in now! I'll post the voting thread not long after, which will stay open for one week. Unfortunately I'm a sick little dragon today, having got food poisoning from chicken (it's got some long name that I can't spell, so I won't try ), which has left me severely ill. Because of this, I'm not going to be able to do any fancy little thumbnails with a picture of each competitors entry, simply because I really don't feel like it. Instead I'll just link to the entries thread. If some other kind soul would like to make the thunbnails however, then I would be very grateful. Well, enough from me, hopefully I'll be able to get Day 9 up today, but if I'm not feeling up to it then it will definitely be tomorrow. Thanks for your understanding everyone. -
Enjoy I will. Wow! Seriously awesome! I love these beauties! Your customization of the weapons is superb! I really can't tell that they've been repainted at all, which is great! How did you do them, did you hand-paint them with a brush or spray them, using masking to get the different colours? It is always interesting to see how other people do there customization. The minifigs are just awesome. Your choice of parts etc gives an exceptionally evil look, something that will drive terror and fear into even the bravest of minifig warriors. Are all the faces official, or are some of them custom? I don't recognise the one in the middle. These are the sort of guys that, if they were working for me, I know would get the job done. Stylish, intimidating, and with no fears, these guys could clear a room without saying a word! Well, I think I have expressed how much I like these, but I must finish with a great big thumb's up. So here you go. I truly look forward to seeing what you do next. With these as a starter, you've set a high standard. Show me more!! (I don't suppose you build dragons do you? )
-
You know I feel much better after that, thanks! It's great to see NZ getting it better for once, we usually get some of the worst deals. Like that 10188 Death Star. I mean $799.99!!! It's crazy! And to think I could have got it for $429.99 (+ shipping) if I had just pre-ordered it...
-
Overpriced, but true unfortunately. Those prices agree with the ones I got from my local store manager, except for the RGS and the AT-TE. I am assuming that I just heard them wrong. I was out by $20 on both, so I must have been. Look at the price on the twilight! I think I might pass on that one. The Droid Gunship isn't to bad though, at least a little more reasonable than some of the others... So, who thinks that the RGS comes with 4 Clones, aye? What, why are you all looking at me like that? Did I miss something?
-
Oh look, a dragon! I love dragons! Let me give him a cuddle. A few embarrasing moments pass. Right, now that the formal stuff is out of the way, on to your MOC. It is great to see someone building dragons! I just never see enough of them around these days. Perhaps that's because I still haven't got round to building one of my own. Ah well, there's always tomorrow. But I'm starting to wander, so back to your fantastic MOC. You have a nice building style going there, and a good use of pieces to give an organic feeling. Brickbuilt dragons are very hard to pull off well, but I think you've done a great job on this one! It doesn't look like your classic sort of dragon, which is in itself good, as it is a reflection of your interpretation. My favourite part has to be the feet and legs, with all the awesome details you've packed in down there. Very nice! The neck is also a very interesting design, I like it, it works well. Now, on to the head itself. It is very difficult to do a nice head at this scale, and although it doesn't look to much like what I think of a dragon to look like, I think you've pulled it off well. It gives the impression of something... evil I guess, while still leaving room for interpretation. Personally, I would have attempted to try and put some sort of snout on it. But then again, I've never been that good at building in such a small scale. Regardless, I think it looks good. So, once all's said and done, well done on building a great little dragon! I look forward to seeing more of these noble beasts brought to life in Lego; from you and, hopefully, from me sometime soon too. Right, I've talked enough, let's see what everyone else thinks. Sorry if I've rambled a bit, but I tend to get a little carried away when it comes to dragons.
-
I have been a very naughty Dragonlet. Today while stuck down in the South Island of NZ still, I by chance happened to walk into a certain large store (The Warehouse) that stocked a certain building construction toy (M&g@bl%ck* LEGO). And then I saw it. 7090 Crossbow Attack Cart! So I bought four. And then I saw the new Troll Impulse set (5618), so I grabbed two of those, along with two of the older soldier impulses (5615) and the new city impulse (5620). Oh, and the Peril in Peru was on sale, so I grabbed one of them too. All in all, I went and spent cash I'd been carefully squirreling away for a few weeks in anticipation of the Clone Wars release. Now I'm going to have to try and get some more before the release! After that I'll definitely have reason to moan about my sagging wallet!
-
Man this topic moves fast! Yes, I pre-ordered, the Tank (actually I pre-ordered two of them ), and it is at 99.99 NZD. No discount on that one. However you've got me really tied up with the RGS now, as I was positively certain that it was 179.99. But perhaps I was wrong, I guess we'll find out soon. I am sure however it was definitely less than $200, unless of course my local toystore manager made a mistake. He's just as excited about the new release as me though, so I don't think he did. I like the look of this eighth set, I hope it'll be available to someone like me in NZ. That's the problem with these exclusives to events in America, I can never get hold of them! Ah well, there is always Bricklink I guess.
-
I haven't read the whole thread, so sorry if someone else already answered this. Well, I can't remember exactly, but I think I've got them right. I know that the RGS was definitely 100 and something; definitely not over $200. Although it could be a reduced price for the release. All I know is that I ordered them all! I guess the only way we'll know if I'm right or not is when it all comes out in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to it! Inserting myself gracelessly into the conversation, what exactly is Midnight Madness? I'm guessing it is something to do with getting the sets cheaper at midnight? Anyway, I haven't read the whole thread, so sorry for my ignorance. As far as I know, it won't be happening here in NZ, at least I've heard no mention of it. Perhaps that's bacause there aren't any TRU's in NZ.

Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Don't worry everyone, Day 9 won't be up till I get home, so some time on Monday. Well, that was a very interesting read. Day 8 followed some... interesting lines. Who wrote those scripts? Certainly not me, so for once you can't blame me for anything! Haha! I am victorious!! Finally!! Take that Savy!!! Well done everyone anyway, the day flowed very nicely from what I can see. Sitting here on my Grandmothers amazing high-speed dial-up connection (yeah, fantastic ), I must say I enjoyed just sitting and reading for a bit. Well, looks like your all stuck, so I'm going to have to start making things a little tougher for you all. Yes, your all in for a rough ride, particularly you Mary. Why do I always pick on the woman? I don't know. Majiko has decided he's going to try and stir up some trouble, so be prepared, and have those thinking caps ready, for this game is just getting exciting! What, you thought it would be easy going once you got to this point? Oh no, accusations will be flying, I hope your all ready to do some serious explaining, 'cause hopefully Majiko will dig up some particularly dirty secrets. Well, hope your all looking forward to the next day, I sure am! Oh before I leave, let me just say that Stones is a very intricate board game involving different shaped black and white stones that are placed on lines. The object of the game is to capture all the oppositions stones. I believe it is based on the game Go, however I have never played it, mores the pitty, so I wouldn't know. Well, that's all from me, I'll see you all later with the dawn of the new day! Lord Dragontor is seen flying off into the setting sun astride Ragnir, although where to nobody knew... -
Avatar is the greatest series. Ever. Characters, terrific. Plot, fantastic. Humour, outstanding. Everything, brilliant!! Now that that is out of the way, I have to say I haven't seen the last episodes yet, from Book 3 no 16 onwards, so don't tell me what happens! They wont air for a few months more yet here, but I'll watch them online when I get back from my trip next week. I'm excited about the ending, I can't wait to see what happens! On another note, we need to see some more Avatar MOCs! I did one a while ago which is somewhere in the Licensed Forum (in fact its in the index, yay for me!), but I think we need some more. Perhaps when I get some more time I'll work on a few...

BrickArms Chief on Ebay
Dragonator replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Well, auctions over now, and look at the price it went for! Wow! Will must be very pleased. I didn't get it. Right, now that the auction is over, can you sell me another one for a cheaper price? Please? Congratulations to whoever got it, I don't suppose it was someone on here? -
IMPORTANT: If you are not a participant in the game, then please do not post in the game. These threads are reserved for players only. It had been decided the previous day that Damien the doctor would be executed. The people of the keep went to there beds feeling confident that they had got another traitor. The following morning, on this, the first day of the second week, the people gathered in the Grand Hall to witness the death of their foreign doctor. Lady Suzanne looked particularly flustered that morning, as did Rotrigous. Kyle looked a tad pale as well, if in relation to his upcoming task or too something else, nobody knew. Damien was brought out struggling from the dungeons, and led towards the executioners axe. This would be a public death, so all could see what happened to those suspected of being a traitor. Suddenly, Damien gave a cry and pointed upwards. Look up there! He shouted, and the guards looked. In that moment Damien bolted, up the stairs and into the keep. The guards gave pursuit, with Kyle well out in front. It seemed that Damien was making for the rooftops. And so he was. Once there, he pulled himself up onto the battlements. Standing, he surveyed the kingdom from his high perch. Grim was following close behind. Damien made a quick prayer to his spirits, and he put his tribes faith to the test. Leaping from the castle ramparts, he willed his guardian spirit, his mighty Eagle, to help him fly away from the place of lies and deceit. All Kyle could do was stand and watch the poor doctor plummet to his death below. After all the excitement had calmed, Damien was searched, as were his rooms. It was discovered that he was a loyalist. The people cried out in anguish at having been thwarted again. When would they be rid of the traitors? Or were they doomed to be picked off, one by one, until only the traitors remained? When a majority vote of 6 has been reached in the voting, or in 5 days time, please close this thread. All night actions are then to be sent to me, I expect them to be waiting when I return. There may be a slight delay on me getting Day 9 up, but it will be no more than a day after the usual time. Hopefully, I might be able to check in while on my travels! The building challenge closes in just under a week, so keep those entries coming people. Now, go get voting! -ator

Thanks for that Dr. S. Now I've got lots of reading to do! Humour On!

I haven't read these for a while, but this was great! I was cracking up even before I got to the punchline. Well, I'm going to go find some of the older ones and read them now.

Mystery Castle - Building Challenge Discussion
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
15 dollars!? Just go on Bricklink and you can get them for 2-3 USD each! That's how I'm doing my army building. Your project sounds great, I look forward to when it is completed! -
That would be the Air Temple thank you very much! Well, I think the only thing we can do at the moment is make lots of cool Avatar MOCs! Sound good?

As far as I am aware there is not going to be any more sets released. The last two were done in 2005, and there haven't been any since... I think we have discussed this already somewhere, but I can't be bothered looking for the thread right now. If I recall we came up with all sorts of great sets TLC could do for the line. It is my understanding that because the initial two sets did not sell very well to start with, TLC assumed nobody was interested and canned the line. As we see throughout all there sets, if something fails, it is never brought back. We can still hope however. You never know, they might think of releasing some new sets in conjunction with the live-action movie. I hope so at least.

As far as I am aware, there are no events to be had in relation to the release. Nz never gets any of the big release events like other countries, for some weird reason. As for your other question, I have no idea!

Well, Star Wars is continuing until 2011 (I think) because that's when the license expires and also it is an extremely popular line that is one of TLG's biggest money earners. If you compare SW with what you are proposing, I think TLG would prefer to continue with SW, simply because it is such a successful theme. You have some really great ideas there for new sets, however I get the feeling you might be going about it the wrong way. Perhaps you should suggest some of your new themes in the Embassy? There is a thread there for that purpose. OH, and don't let Batbrick or Brainbox here you saying you want Batman replaced. Although you did kind of contradict yourself by saying you want new themes and then posting mostly expansions on one of LEGO's oldest themes, City. Some of your ideas are pretty cool, for example I myself would love to see a LEGO Titanic set. Your Empire State Building might become a reality as a small scale model in the new Architect line, but I don't know about a larger one. Perhaps you should order some parts and build a huge one yourself? I don't know how a subway could be carried out however, especially trying to integrate one into a city... Anyway, thanks for sharing your crazy ideas, it is always interesting to see what other people want out of Lego. Myself, I just look forward to whatever they have next, it's guaranteed to be great!
