You know I think that this was a marketing choice by TLC mainly. They chose a couple of rather plain box-art designs to use on the various sets. This way they don't have to design a new background for every set. Also, I think they may have chosen desert and forest backgrounds because they don't want any distractions from the model they're trying to sell. That's my thoughts anyway. Have you guys noticed that the explosions on many of the boxes are exactly the same? And for that matter, the laser beams? Yes, this is another point to show that they are trying to cut costs by re-using previous designs, meaning they don't need to make new graphics etc for every set. What do you guys think?

Hey everyone, I don't know if this has been posted, but I have information concerning the New Zealand release of the Clone Wars line. The Clone Wars sets are being officially released on the 1st of August. I just had a call from my local Toyworld mate, and have pre-ordered all the sets. Here are the RRPs, in NZD: 7679 Republic Fighter Tank: 99.99 (exclusive to Toyworld) 7681 Separatist Spider Droid: 49.99 7675 AT-TE Walker: 159.99 (I think, I did these over the phone and didn't listen to the prices to closely) 7674 V-19 Torrent: 119.99 7676 The Republic Attack Gunship: 179.99 (Again, I am pretty sure I heard this right) 7673 MagnaGuard Starfighter: 99.99 7680 The Twilight: Unknown (exclusive to either The Warehouse or K-Mart) 7678 Droid Gunship: Unknown (exclusive to either The Warehouse or K-Mart) Sorry that some of those prices are a little vague, but it is the best I can remember from my phone call. I'll be going out to layby/buy these sets as soon as they come out. Hope the rest of you are as excited as me!

We want the amazing 4999 Vestas Wind Power Plant!
Dragonator replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Town
Well, I guess you can sign me on too please! Living in NZ it would be hard to get a set like this anyway, but at the moment it is impossible! Man I hate exclusives. It's a great set, and I would love to have it as part of my collection if that is ever possible. -
Hey this is working out perfectly! Now I have a few days to get something sorted before I go away. Great! Now, on to the business. The end votes are as follows: Dovchenko (Damien): 8 AgentRick57 (Lady Suzanne): 1 A majority vote of 7 was required, therefore Damien is to be condemned. What? Don't what me, you knew it was coming sooner or later. Now, let's see what interesting way you can die tonight... No, please, me innocent, the herbs are getting to you all!!!! I will not be taken alive!!!!! And that was a sneak peak into tomorrow. What fun, I love suspense. Thanks as usual to you all for taking the time to participate, I hope you are enjoying yourselves. Could I please have all night actions to me asasp, as then I can get the next day sorted before I leave. Thanks everyone, and keep working on those vigs! As a disclaimer, Hinckley informed he would be away before the game started, so there is nothing sinister going on there. I myself am away for a bit too! I don't remember any bribes about not voting for him though... My little payback. OK now your being silly about this, he didn't even do that much to you other than moan a bit. Get over it! But, I, that is, oh it's just no fun being the host these days! Your all so mean to me, especially you Draggy, because you are me! I tell you all, it's just to much for me to handle!!! Could we please lock this thread now, before he has a complete meltdown over nothing. Oh right. Yes, do that please. Is there anything else I need to say? I just wanted to say that I'm unhappy nobody approached me with some gold to kill someone. I was looking forward to that... Yeah, me too. Right, seriously, that's enough blubbering for one post. This day is over! As the light faded in the distance, the people ofthe keep went to there beds, hoping they had made the right decision, but confident no matter what that it was a step in the right direction...

Mystery Castle - Building Challenge Discussion
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks Blocky. I'm not going on a big trip or anything, I've done that many a time all ready around NZ. I used to live up in Rotorua (where the mud pools/volcanic activity is), it is a great tourist destination, so you should definitely visit some time. NZ is a truly beautiful place, although it takes a couple of overseas trips before one such as me realises it. On to where I'm going, I'm hopping across the Cook Strait (which is a channel of water dividing the North Island from the South Island), where I will visit my lovely grandparents for a few days (they have a computer, so I might be able to check in on the game then ), before I head off west about 100km or so to Nelson, where I will be playing with my Pipe Band in a competition. Lots of fun! My big trip for the year is latter, when I'll be visiting Melbourne in late September for a few weeks. That will be a lot of fun, as I haven't been to Melbourne since I was 7, and so don't remember that much. I'm also hoping there might be some sets available there that I can't get in NZ, so we'll see... -
Hey, welcome to EB, hope you have a great time here with us crazy lot! You'll find the Minifig Customisation Workshop is a great place to look around, I look forward to seeing some of your customs.

Adam Tucker´s great architecture models now produced by TLG
Dragonator replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
$22 USD actually. At least on the Chicago Architecture Foundation Shop they are. Use the link, and then search the keyword LEGO. Accordingly, these sets are limited to only 1250 copies each (first edition that is). Looking at the price plus shipping to NZ though, I think I'll have to pass. You know, I think these sets look really nice. Yes, they have a very simple design, and are in one colour, but then, large-scale architecture usually does have a simple design, and is not usually bright pink with splashes of lime. I think these models are a reflection of true, simple architecture, how it should be seen. Take a lesson from it people. -
Ah, another beautiful MOC, when I think of castle building, you are one of my big inspirations good sir! Your landscaping is outstanding, really something a newish builder like me is aiming for one day. I particularly like your use of parts to make the vegetable garden, and for that matter, there are some sweet designs on those windows, both the lower ones and the stained glass ones further up. Those trees are great, I wish I could build brick-built trees like that. Also of note to me is the use of trans-blue bricks for the stream rather than plain blue ones. It gives a nice effect, perhaps I shall try that sometime. The rock face looks great with that smooth, studless look, and a very nice transition between that and the brickwork of the castle proper. Really, it just all looks great! So, a big from me, and definitely looking forward to more.

Perhaps some... flaming in the night could be arranged... at a price of course. Ragnir, what are you thinking? What, I'd be happy to kill a non-poster for a bit more gold in my heap. Yeah, me too. Your both crazy. Hypocrite. What, it's not my fault you don't get it. Perhaps Majiko can shed some light, since he did it. Me? I would never do such a thing. Although I do think perhaps that the person is trying to tell you all to focus on the clues that have already been given in previous days, and to stop bickering. Where do you see that? I don't, I made it up. Oh. You don't think I haven't tried already, do you? Current votes are as follows: AgentRick57 (Lady Suzanne): 2 Dovchenko (Damien): 3 A majority vote of 7 is required for condemnation. Happy voting.

In the mid-morning light, Dragonator was pleased to observe that his statues had been put back to how they were. He also wanted to share a paintograph of some Greek Armour, for Blocky's benefit. At this point I would also like to say that I will be away for a week as of Sunday. So that this does not interfere with the game, Day 8 will begin as soon as Day 7 ends, so there will be no night. Well, there will be, but it will go very fast. If you want to use your night actions tonight, please have them to me no later than Saturday night (my time, that's NZ time by the way). I may be able to check in on you all during my trip, but then again, I might not. I'll have to trust you all not to mess up the studio Grand Hall while I'm gone. As a result of me being away, I will not be able to end the day, however I ask that the day be ended whenever voting has finished, or after the usual 5 days. I will try my best to get Day 9 up when I get back, just make sure those night actions are waiting for me. There may be a slight delay, but hopefully everything will run out smoothly so nobody even notices my absence. You are such a control freak. Yeah, whatever.
-
Hmmm, perhaps I made today's clue a little to hard... Here is a lbeled picture from a different angle, as I notice some people are getting the two statues confused. Not that it matters or anything... As a piece of advice, try not to take this clue too literally. Well, it is fun seeing some of the wacky things these guys are coming up with. Giant killer bunnies! Ha! Yeah, and do you notice how they have become completely distracted from what they are supposed to be doing? Sorry, but they keep ignoring my other clues, so I decided to put in a really LOUD one this time. Yeah, and now they're all stumped. Well at least they're stumped rather than oblivious. Well, if they get anything out of it then all's good, but let's leave them now to get on with trying to find some more traitors, rather than distracting them with mindless bickering. Your the one that started it. I'm bored, anyone up for a game of stones? I am! Except for Ragnir. Oh... I'm just kidding you big softy. Let's go play! Yay! EDIT: Oh by the way, does anyone like the new font? I think it looks quite spiffing. It's taken me until day 7 to find it though, I guess I'm just not all that good with Photoshop. But I'm learning, things can only get better. Note: This is not an invitation for anyone else to start editing their posts. I'm just special.

Mrs Pegleg Blockbeard ^_^
Dragonator replied to Mrs Pegleg Blockbeard's topic in Hello! My name is...
Hmmm, I never came and said hello, how rude of me. Hello Madam! Welcome to our little corner of the web. Well, I'm sure your already enjoying yourself here, so not much need for me to tell you too. If you want a laugh, you should go have a good read of the Mystery Castle threads, linked in my signature, Blocky here has had some hilarious moments. Like when he introduced himself in Day 3. Now that was hilarious! Who asked you, nosy? Oh, I just thought I'd insert myself into the conversation. It's good to see Blocky's other half, I was getting a bit worried after he spent all that time in the armoury with Ritz... Since when did you start calling Rotrigous Ritz? Oh, ummm. I don't want to know. Some advice to you my Lady Blockbeard, don't ever listen to a thing anyone says here, their all crazy. Except for me of course. Yeah, well you talk to yourself in different colours. So do you! Lets end this now, before people start staring. To late for that... That's enough from me you two. My apologies milady, I they seem to try and get themselves into conversations everywhere, despite my efforts to contain them to the Mystery Castle. You'll never contain me! I'll rule the world one day. *Ahem* Your embarrassing me in front of the lady. Sorry. Right, anyway, have fun on the forums, and I hope to see you around sometime. -
Armothe, I too would like to say what a great job you've done on the new store. It has a great format, is easy to use, and most of all, allows me to spend lots of money on some great quality parts! The new layout makes shopping a breeze and it is great being able to see all the parts in use on your 'miniquins'. It's awesome, and I look forward to more. A real from me!

IMPORTANT: If you are not a participant in the game, then please do not post in the game. These threads are reserved for players only. The voting in the previous day had gone extremely quickly, with General Marcus being convicted before Morning tea. The court had spent the rest of the day outdoors. With not much else to do, most everyone had returned to their beds as the sun sank below the walls of the keep. The morning brought with it some interesting observations. Kyle looked extremely tired, as did the friar, while Lord Savril and Mary walked in at the same time looking a bit ‘roughed up’. Rotrigous and Lieutenant Byron had locked themselves in the armoury for the night, and couldn’t get out. After they were rescued by the cellar keeper, the people gathered in the Grand Hall to hear the news. That morning, Kyle had once again beheaded a general, this time General Marcus. And it looked like they had found their killer. General Marcus was a traitor, and had been the one that killed Grim. The people of the castle were jubilant, and with that in mind, sat down to a hearty breakfast. There were still traitors amongst them however, and they knew that now they really needed to find them, and to discover the mystery surrounding the king’s death. Lord Dragonator came down not at all happy, after discovering that two of his new statues, depicting a Roman gladiator and Roman Legionary, had been tampered with during the night… What was the meaning of these changes, and who was to blame for them? Why does Majiko look so suspicious? And how exactly did the king die? Find out, on Mystery Castle! Thanks once again for choosing to play. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. If you need to review the rules, then these can be found in the introduction thread (link in my signature). Well, as promised, I've got my first major piece of writing up. Behold, the 'Short' History of the Dragon Masters Kingdom! This can be found in the new Dragon Masters Kingdom Thread, which is dedicated to bringing to you all the information you need, and a lot more that you don't as well! If you have the time, please go have a read of the history, I put quite a bit of time into it, and hopefully it will shed some light on the origins of the Dragon Masters Kingdom. I'll be posting new updates regularly, so stay tuned. If you have any questions, please, ask away! I am very excited that I have finally got my project started; I anticipate that it is going to be a lot of fun.

Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sorry about that. Well, it's not my fault it ended early, everyone just made up their minds pretty quickly as to who to vote for. Anyway, the next day will be up soon, so be on the look out... Oh yes, and Batbrick, your getting the chop. -
A Short History of the Kingdom Including an overview of the events that lead to its creation The Dragon Masters Kingdom, when compared to many of the other kingdoms, is very old. However, it is fairly new in respect to the ancient kingdoms of old. It was not always called the Dragon Masters Kingdom. This name was introduced in the year 859 AE, after the final collapse of the old Northern Kingdom, which controlled the current territories of the Classic Castle, Black Falcon, Black Knight and Dragon Master kingdoms. The history of the land itself stretches a lot further back than that however. Long before the arrival of humans in the land, the continent was ruled by dragons. The culture and intelligence of this once mighty kingdom, known as the Kingdom of Dragons when translated from the dragon tongue, was and still is beyond the comprehension of humans. These dragons built massive cities, with buildings stretching miles into the skies, and the greatest beauty and architecture ever seen on the face of the world. There technological advancement far surpassed anything that had been, or is now. They were a peaceful lot, dedicated to beauty, philosophy and the search for the Ultimate Truth. It was during a terrible time in the history of the Kingdom of Dragons that humans arrived on their shores. A 200 year feud was in progress between the followers of Spirious the Sly, a member of the ancient council that ruled the kingdom under the Royal Dragons, and King Frimous the Great. Spirious wanted to take power from the king and turn the Kingdom into what we would call a Democracy, while the King stood his ground. The continent was divided, and many of the great cities were destroyed before the humans even landed on the shores. The humans gradually started to take control of the continent, starting in the far south where they landed and working towards the north. By the time the ruling dragons realized what was happening, it was nearly too late. They fought back, and so the War of 100 Years, known as the Great Eradication to the dragons, began. The end of this war, after its many valiant battles, in which many a hero rose and fell and legends were created, saw the end of the dragons as they once were. Gone were the many great cities, and lost were their many great technologies. The barbaric humans, unable to read the elegant script that the dragons wrote in, burned their libraries and purged the earth of their many artful creations. It was probably the greatest loss the world ever had, and ever will see. The dragons retreated from the land, and the few that were left sealed themselves in the Sacred Valley of the Dragons, not to be seen again for many hundreds of years. The humans, now the dominant species of the land, set up the Agaetian Empire, under the leadership of Emperor Frederick the Invincible. The capital was the city of Dratos, which was located where Dragons Keep now stands. It was one of the very few dragon cities that survived the 100 year war, and although by far not one of the grandest, it was still a marvel to behold. The empire existed for over 300 years, in which time many great wars were fought, rebellions put down and monuments built. It was the greatest time in human history, but was not destined to last. The Empire fell, mainly due to the great build up of corruption in the government officials and the weaknesses of the army. But that is a story for another day. From the wreckage of the Empire emerged a new people. Free from any sort of government, the small villages made their own small states and governed themselves. It was a few years after the collapse of the Empire that a scholar, Duon Freelance, created the new calendar that we know and use today. For around 200 years, the city of Dratos sat unoccupied. The buildings dilapidated and many collapsed, while the great council chambers and Imperial Palace crumbled and fell. Without the dragons to sustain them, most of the ancient cities had already long disappeared into the earth. In the year 214 AE, a small group of refugees came to the old city, of which not much remained. There they built a small village, which over the next 300 years grew into a mighty city. By the year 564 AE, the Northern Kingdom had been officially set up. During this time, a number of other kingdoms, including the Southern Alliance had also sprung up. Since the 6th Century, people had slowly been gathering together and the cities that we know today grew out of this. It was during the 6th century that dragons soon began to be sited on rare occasions. Hostilities still held towards them, and many a kingdom would offer rewards to the brave man that brought to the leaders a dragons head. Dragons were an almost extinct species by this time. A young ruler of the Northern Kingdom, King Clive the Kind, had a soft spot for dragons, and in 745 AE declared them to be a protected species within his kingdom. For the first time in over 1000 years, dragons were to be given a place in human society. Many an emissary was sent to the dragons in vain to set up an alliance, and it was not until 778 AE, when King Clive’s son, King Griand II, sent a large gift of gold and dwarven smith work to the dragons, that contact was made. The dragons were accepted into society, and the dragon tongue became a second language to the kingdom. In 786 AE, the Air Marshals, a military contingent of dragon riders, was established. Many dragons left the still secret Valley of the Dragons, and came to make friends with the humans. Many dragon families never left the valley however, and even in the prime of its existence, no more than 40 dragons ever served in the Air Marshals at one time. Dragons had almost become extinct, and it would take many hundreds of years before they would recover. The ruling family of the Northern Kingdom were descendants of the last emperor that ruled the Empire. Today, this family continues to rule, as the royal family of the Dragon Masters Kingdom, the only modern kingdom to still hold ties to the ancient Agaetian Empire. The nobility of the kingdom consists of a number of Houses, and the politics between these groups is deep and intricate. The Northern Kingdom was a great nation, and conquered many other smaller states and kingdoms, including the mighty lands of Ankoria in 856 AE. It was holding on to all its territory that eventually saw the fall of the Northern Kingdom, after the death of its last king, King Quarion, the last true descendant of the ancient Emperors of the Agaetian Empire, or so it is believed. One of the Kings cousins, Separtis, now took control, and renamed the emerging country as the Dragon Masters Kingdom. King Separtis was the grand father of King Dracus. It was with this new ruler that the Dragon Masters Kingdom as it is known today was made. Up until the year 954 AE, the kingdom was almost twice the size, including all the land of Ankoria. However, the Ankorians at this time revolted from their oppression and, because of the bad health of the king, almost conquered the whole kingdom. It was because of the valiant efforts of Lord Dragonator, a mysterious man who had appeared in the kingdom during their time of need, that the kingdom was saved. Over the previous 30 years, during the rule of King Dracus, the dragons had been neglected and had mostly returned to their sacred valley. After the Ankorian uprising, Dragons were once more an outlawed species, despite every effort of the new Senior Councilor Dragonator. The Air Marshals were disbanded, and dragons were no more seen in the land. Only a few years ago, in 963 AE, Lord Dragonator secretly re-established the Air Marshals, with a total of 12 dragons. It was apparent that his lordship was working through a master plan, one that had been in the works for decades. There was more to this character than met the eye. *It is at this point that the EBRP game began. All writings from here on are based on the happenings within the story, and will be updated at the end of each story arc* In the year 965 AE, Lord Dragonator set out for the southern city of the kingdom, Dromindur, intending to re-establish the Old Alliance, an alliance that once consisted between the old Northern Kingdom and its neighbours to the east and south. The alliance was broken after the Orc invasion of 858 AE, which left all the kingdoms severely weakened. It was Dragonator’s aim to create a strong alliance once again in the face of a rising evil in the land. The meeting was infiltrated by Ankorian spies however, and only a day after the treaty was signed, the Dragon Masters Kingdom was invaded. A bloody battle took place in Dromindur, ending with the defeat of the Ankorians. Lord Dragonator and his small army then marched back to Dratos, the capital city, intent on retaking Dragons Keep. After meeting up with a small battalion of three dragon knights lead by the brave Commander Thaddius of the southern contingent of the Air Marshals, the men marched on Dratos and re-took it from the Ankorians. After the battle was won, it was discovered that King Dracus was dead, and that his successor was to be Lord Dragonator himself. The noble houses were still to return from the summer palace in Hamenwear, after which it was expected there would be great opposition to the succession… That brings us to the current moment in time (on July 14, 2008). If you have read all of this, I am very proud of you. Remember that this is a summary and many events, as well as other important details, have been left out. These things will be explained later in this thread.

Welcome to the Dragon Masters Kingdom, a part of the EBRP game! Here you will find all the information you need to know, and a lot more as well, concerning the Dragon Masters Kingdom. This is a long-term project for me, so new information will be added regularly. This first post will serve as an index to link you to the various pieces of information throughout the thread. By the way, this is an Information Index Only! Please do not reply to this thread. All discussion can be done either in the EBRP Discussion Thread or by PM with me. Thanks in advance for your consideration. This topic will go into a lot of detail, so if you really want to start reading, be prepared to spend a bit of time doing it. For a more general summary, please refer to the EBRP Faction Summary Thread. Here you can find the key information you need, with links back to this topic for more detailed information if you are interested. The summary is not up yet, but will be very soon. Please remember that this is a work in progress and it will take some time before a lot of information is added. Thanks in advance for your patience. If there is something about the kingdom that you need to know immediately for plot reasons, feel free to PM me and I'll be happy to explain it to you. As there is not much here yet, here is an overview of what's coming up first: - A run down of the military, including detailed pictures of the various uniforms used throughout the kingdoms history, an in depth discussion of the various ranks and 'special' positions, as well as the different legions found in the various regions of the land and the four different sections. An top of this there will be a nice description of the different plumes and helmets used to denote rank, and how they have changed throughout the history of the kingdom (formerly an empire, but more on that later as well). Also included will be a description of weapons. After I finish all that (if I ever do ) there will probably be some other military things, such as history, including battles and famous commanders, plus anything else I think of in the meantime. There will also be some new characters that come of this. - Regions of the Kingdom, including geographic landmarks, industries, major cities etc. - Cities, towns, major military outposts, landmarks etc. - The various groups, such as political groups, the aristocracy (including the various Houses and an explanation of the Alliances), religious groups, merchants/trading partners (also types of trade including major imports/exports and where they are produced, including agriculture and industry). - A solid currency - A calender, which will apply to the entire continent - The Religion - A separate write-up of each character For more information on upcoming stuff, see this post in the discussion thread. Thanks to all the other EBRP players who are supporting me in this little venture, especially ImperialShadows, WhiteFang, KhoRne, and all my other gaming friends. It will be fun and I look forward to it. I also hope that this topic will be able to help many of you understand the kingdom a little more. Reminder: DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD! The index, as it is: 1. Index Post 2. Short History of the Kingdom 3. Well, not much yet, but it will grow. If you have any questions, then please feel free to ask me in the discussion thread, or by PM. I would also love to hear feedback, so post any of that there too. If you have any suggestions of things you'd like me to explain about the Kingdom, or would like some help working on your own project, feel free to ask, I am always willing to help. Well, that's all for now! ~Dragonator

This looks like such a great set! I didn't know that this topic existed until a few minutes ago; I first saw this news on The Brothers Brick. They have a picture there too, if anyone is interested, here is a link to their news page. It really does look great, I hope it is released world-wide so I can get one. I never do like it when I can't get hold of a limited edition set because it isn't available in NZ.

Hmmm, yes, I like some of those names. Perhaps we could here if anyone else has a name for the continent, and then set up a poll to see which is our favourite? In the meantime, I'll just continue to refer to it as 'the land' in my writings. My short summary history has already got to just under 2 pages, and I haven't finished yet. Yes, I like the idea of this, although it might get a little confusing if we rename the days of the week. For me, the only major year is the year of the dragon, but I would be happy to help with the others as well. Spot on. For those of you out there that are wondering, the calender is simply to be used as way of expressing how long ago a certain event occured, and will probably not even be important to 99% of the posts. It will be a much more realistic world with a good calender. Oh you have me confused too. The calender I proposed is a general timeline. I'm sure you'll understand my meaning a little better when I post my summary. Basically, it is a calender that is used over the entire continent, and other players can chose to include events in their nations' history with dates from the calender as well, provided that they don't contradict anyone else. The AE calender represents a fresh start for the people of the continent, after the collapse of the old empire that ruled from sea to sea. Basically it doesn't really matter that much anyway, all it is is a number that represents a certain number of years from the present. It's basically just an easy way for people to understand when certain evets took place, if they are interested in the history. The calender can apply to any kingdom. For example, I could just have easily have said: In the year 859 AE, the Black Knights Kingdom was formed, after the collapse of the Northern Kingdom. Before this a... Or as another example: The year 654 AE saw the founding of a small village that is now the capital of the Crownie Kingdom, know as... And so on, etc etc. Hope this makes it a bit clearer for you. I must agree, with a solid calender to base any historical references off, the EBRP will feel a lot more real. Good luck with those exams, I hope you do well!

Mystery Castle - Game and Index

Well, there's not much point in letting the day past when the voting has finished. Everyone seems to be in such a rush to codemn people! Perhaps I should make it a rule that you are not allowed to vote until after lunch... -
Oh yes, I already have the regions etc sorted out. So far in my writings I have referred to the continent either as 'the continent' or as 'the land'. However I think a nicer name could be thought of, so if anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them. This is a good idea, using the zodiac would be great! I think you can all guess which year Lord Dragonator was born in (not the date, but the animal. And no it is not a chicken ImperialShadows. ). We can assign the years of the zodiac according to the real-life year, so I guess that means that this year is the year of the rat! That or we could make up our own zodiac. Actually, that would be kind of fun! We could have such years as the Phoenix, Dragon etc, and also include special days too. Brilliant! I'm loving the idea already! What do you think, does it sound like a good idea? One step ahead of you there. I'll go with my idea of the two calenders, although you only need the AE one for the purposes of posting. Right, so the current year is 965 AE people! From now on when refering to the past I'll use dates in this calender. For example, I might say something like: This name was introduced in the year 859 AE, after the final collapse of the old Northern Kingdom, which... That in reference to the name of the current DMK. You'll understand better when I post the history I'm working on. As part of my large project I'll do a section on the calender, and then that can act as an easy reference for you all. If you have any suggestions about animals for the zodiac or any special days people, then please let me know. No no, there is no need to memorize my history lessons, but it will help if you want to go really in-depth to read up on a bit of the history. I'm just providing it for a bit of fun, to give a bit of depth to the game. It will act as a reference, so if someone wants to know something then they can easily find it. I'm going to work on the Agaetian Empire a bit more, as it will be a lot of fun to share with you I think.

Right, I'm about to start work on writing the short history of the Dragon Masters Kingdom for the Summary Thread, however I need to get a few small thing sorted first, especially before I get to work on the more detailed history. Firstly, do we have a name for the continent? If you could get back to me on that KhoRne that would be great. Secondly, the calender. Now, I think we should structure the seasons etc on our own world calender. I know that in many posts a day can take over a week (or more) to happen in, but I am thinking just for the purposes of sorting out the seasons we should base it on the length of days in reality. So, what season do you want it to be now? Down here in New Zealand it is mid-winter, but I guess most people would prefer we go off the seasons for the northern hemisphere, in which case it is mid-summer. That said, we could always structure the calender entirely differently, and have an entirely fictional one. I suppose it probably doesn't bother most of you, but it would be good for my story line to know which season it is. After all that, we also need a year. Now, I was thinking for these purposes that the years be fictional and not based off a real life calender. I have thought about this, and I think I might have an idea you would all like. The year is 965 AE. That is, 965 years after the break-up of the mighty Agaetian Empire. Before this time the years were counted from when humans arrived in 'the land'. That calender got to the year 430 FL (that is, 430 years from the First Landing), after which the Human Empire fell. Does that sound fine to you guys, in regard to the dates? I hope so. There will also be a separate calender that the dragons follow, and I will elaborate on these other two a bit more when I get down to writing my history. Please let me know of your thoughts in regard to a name for the continent and as to the seasons. I'll probably think of a few more things for us to discuss soon as well. -ator

Right, it has been decided that there shall be an extension. Due to Day 6 ending so early, the extension will go until a date now. That date is... 27th July So, that gives you around 2 weeks, so plenty of time people. Show me something great! -
I just received my most recent BrickForge order today. These things are amazing! The detail is astounding; they are some of the best customs I have ever seen. The MegaGun is much better than I expected, the pictures really don't do it justice, and the detail on the space marine armour is fantastic. I also love the gladiator helmet and face-guard, as well as all the other Roman weapons. Just great! I accidentally missed a couple of the new items off my purchase, so I'll probably be making another one sometime soon.
