  1. Excuse me!? Mystery Castle was one of the most important EB events of the year! Well, I think it was, anyway. I think Ritz gave you that one, it sounds like his sort of humour. A bit like what he did with mine really... Then again, Savvy is just as loony, so who knows?
  2. Hey KimT, Nice work so far! I love the original castle you did, and I hope you return to it eventually, because it was looking great. Back to what you're working on now, I have one main suggestion and that is the colour of the flooring. If your aiming for a "Classic Castle" look, then I would suggest you try doing the floors on the upper levels and the ramparts light grey. This was the colour of the original floors, and it also adds some highlights to the build, since just solid yellow is a bit overwhelming. Anyway, that's just what I would do, if it doesn't look good to you, then don't do it, but I think you should give it a try, you just might like it. I think that without the grey it just seems a little too... yellow. Also, you might remember that the original castle had red windows on the back tower. Perhaps you might want to play around with adding some details like that to your corner towers? Those are my thoughts, do with them what you will. Keep up your work, and I look forward to the next progress report.
  3. It's so... beautiful. This is like a dream come true. Screw the chess set, this is awesome! Finally a fantastic castle set, with new element and yet with a classic style to it. And a turkey! I guess they won't be quite so rare now. Nice to see some new fish too, as well as everything else. New minifigs (including two woman!), some great building techniques, this just looks great! Count me in for two! Oh look, that lady has my hair. I'm going to stare at these pictures for a while and try to absorb the craftsmanship...
  4. Hey, why aren't I in the turd club? These games all sound great, just don't forget about me when you make the threads, 'cause if I miss out, I'll be banging on the door for the whole game. I'm looking forward to this witch hunt game TinyPiesRUs, you're a great game host from what I read in the Western Mafia, EB's first ever Mafia game.
  5. Wha?.. Where am I? I had this nightmare about being trapped in some crazy town with a bloodthirsty gang of mobsters... Oh crap. Hey everyone! Man, I must have drunk a fair bit last night, I've just been out of it! But I'm back fresher than ever now. Looks like you men need a lady to make the decisions for you, aye? Well, I've had a look at all the evidence, and I can't say I'm entirely convinced, but I can see one or two reasons why it could be Dillon. As it is, I think I'll trust your judgement guys and vote for him. If it is not though, well I think Sky is next on my list, I'm sorry to say. Here's to hoping we've got the right man this time though. *downs large whiskey* What's that? Oh right... Vote: Dillon (Sir Dillon) Also, just to confirm, I can guarantee that Ivan is most certainly a citizen. Our family prides itself on its loyalty to the city. Anyway, that was just to confirm, since you were wondering about it earlier... Now, bring on some peaceful rest! I don't really feel like having to stop anyone trying to kill me again tonight, it was hard enough last time! Bloody bastards, trying to kill a woman and all. Why if I could get the bastard alone I'd... Darlene continues grumbling into her glass...
  6. Hello everyone, I'm back! Did you miss me? I thought not. I had a great holiday, and now I'm back to clean up this town. Nah, it's just because I wasn't around. Those men need a lady to keep them working. Yeah, I had the same trouble with that bloody picture of General Marcus... And then all my other ingeniously creative clues were lost on everyone. That is high on the list for improvements for next time, don't you worry. Now, Dragonator Darlene is back, and he she's gonna put those blokes straight!
  7. Indeed we might. Well, I deem there to be enough evidence, so to set the ball rolling, I will cast my vote. Vote: Rhonda (AgentRick57) Hopefully with this conviction, we will be able to sleep easy in our beds this night.
  8. Thanks for that Ivan. Well, that leaves us with four choices. I don't think it is Sky, I have seen no reasons so far to suspect him. Dillon seems clean, and, although Steve was flirting with a known Baritone yesterday, I don't think he is the one. That leaves Rhonda, who has not once voted on a Baritone, and the one time she did vote, it was against Neal. As a lawyer, although I cannot say the evidence is solid, there is more evidence pointing to her than anyone else. What do the rest of you think? Am I on to something? Opps, sorry Carter, I didn't hear you. Yes, that could possibly be why Dillon hasn't said anything. That or he can't get his lazy megablocks out of bed. Dillon, did you attack me last night? Wait, even if you did, why would you tell me? Oh this is getting us nowhere.
  9. Unfortunately he (or she) got away before we could see who it was. Your idea is good, but remember, the Mayor was a Baritone, so why would we want to keep him?
  10. People, this is getting us nowhere. We need to take action. The problem is, who should we take action against? Does anybody have any suspicions? Did anyone find out anything last night? We need to find this killer! The bastard won't get away with this! First an attempt on my life, and now poor Pete... We must smoke this last Baritone out, before another one of us dies. Now, let me think for a few minutes. There are a couple of things I want to get straight. Steve, what was going on between you and Iris yesterday? You were getting very close to a known Baritone. Tell me, was this just some innocent joking around, or was there something deeper to what you had to say to her? And Rhonda. I must say I am feeling very suspicious of you at the moment. Throughout this entire week, you have not once voted against a known Baritone. However, you were very happy to vote for Neal when he was under the spotlight. Why? Is it because secretly, you yourself are a Baritone? I have noticed that you have been very quiet in our discussions as well. Is this because you have something to hide? Personally, I feel that you are the most likely candidate for the final Baritone.
  11. Wha... But who! Who was the lunatic that took out Pete! That's another citizen, gone... Curse you fate, and your unfortunate turns! Just as we thought we were free of them to... Right, we need to catch this last bastard, and we need to do it now! Who attacked me last night? I want answers people, and I want them now!
  12. I'm glad that nobody was killed last night. And do you know why? Because the bloody bastard came after me! Luckily my dear brither-in-law Ivan threw the rascal down the stairs. Your my hero Ivan. Now, I want to know who the ****er is that attacked me! You'll not get away with it, there's only one of you know, and seven of us. Come out and I promise we wont hurt you... much.
  13. Happy birthday you guys, hope you both have a great time! Eat a piece of that cake for me.
  14. Um, did you mean Iris, or do you really want me to hit you? Oh right, that's OK then. Do you want a whiskey? I'm feeling in a celebratory mood, even if we still haven't quite got all the bastards yet. We're close, I can feel it.
  15. Here Ivan, have your whiskey. It looks like you need it. My sister was a wonderful, courageous woman who, even in her death, has helped us tremendously, and she shall live on in our hearts. God bless her. *sniff* Raises glass and drains it.
  16. WhiteFang, I agree, Neal was indeed trying to warn us. I'm glad we got Stan, and now, we have found our most recent murderer... BIYATCH! *slaps Iris across the face* It looks like I was right to suspect you after what you were saying yesterday. And to think I trusted you! Shame, shame indeed. You will die for your part in my beloved sister's death. Evidence has been given. The motions are in place. Vote: Iris (I Scream Clone). I should have realised yesterday after the way you avoided my questions and went after me so vehemently. It appears we have found your motives, you bastard!
  17. Damn it! We get Betty, but then we lose another two of our good citizens! When will this madness end! Today, we must find this murderer. There can't be more than one or two of the bastards left, although these ones will probably be the hardest to catch... So, did anyone discover anything useful last night? Anything at all? God help us, we must find them!! I haven't had time for a whiskey in days. Ivan, I think it's my shout this time, you ready for some heavy spirits?
  18. No I disagree, it's not Hinckley going crazy, it's the citizens.
  19. Hmmm, what a pleasant surprise, don't you all think? Looks like we caught the arsonist. I wonder who did that? Now, let us take down Betty, the current Godfather, and be rid of her! Forward the mob! Give no quarter! And tomorrow, I think we should be looking into Pencoin, he seems suspicious... then again, so do so many other people...
  20. Ah Iris, your logic is just so flawed. Yes I am quick to point fingers. And have I not been right every time so far? I got the mayor did I not? Or did that slip your mind? I see you did not answer any of my questions... suspicious... and not to mention hypocritical... As for over the top reactions, what more could you expect from me? I am well known for them amongst the courts. The way I see it, the sooner a person answers any questions but to her, the sooner the truth of the matter can be revealed, and that is why I am quite happy to answer peoples questions. Now, as to last night, you must understand that I am reluctant to discuss this in public, since the Baritones are listening. For all I know, you could be a Baritone yourself, trying to weasel information from me. However, I understand your concerns, and so I shall tell you, and damn any Baritone that tries to make use of it! Last night, I attempted to protect Tom (Trexxen). I had no idea that he would be attacked, but I had a feeling, and so I went with it. Unfortunately, it appears some bastard was waiting for me and I was prevented from doing my duty, as this large lump on my head testifies. I do however have a suspicion of who caused the fire, but until I have further information, mum's the word unfortunately. Now all this is very nice, but I would appreciate you answering a few of my questions Iris, since I have so willingly answered yours. After that, perhaps we should leave our petty squabbling and put our efforts into finding some real Baritones, aye? We got the mayor yesterday, and I think we have now got Betty, but there must still be a few more. It would be good if we could work together as a team, Iris. You are good with interrogation, but until we can trust each other a little more, I fear we are going to have a lot of difficulty smoking out the last couple of Baritones. I just hope we can unite against them soon, before it is to late...
  21. Now Iris, I like you, but when you make crazy accusations like that, I really cannot do anything but wonder what your motives are. I don't suppose you owe the Baritones any money? Now, to address what you have said. I must stress that I am certainly no arsonist. Do these fingers look suitable to fire to you? No, I don't think so. Also, you dare to accuse me, the person who just pushed so hard to kill our so-called 'good' mayor? And after what I've been through, with the murder of my beloved sister at the hands of those bastards? You have some cheek little lady. No, I really do wonder at this sudden attack on me. Why are you suddenly so suspicious of my actions, aye? Or are you just following orders from your over-lord as to who you should vote for? As for what you have to say about Ivan, I think it's utter rubbish. I'm sure that over half of the people here were out last night at some point or another, for their various reasons. I feel that your evidence is very weak, merely circumstantial, and it would never hold in a court of law, not even five minutes. For all we know, you could be the mysterious pyromaniac, trying to lay the blame at another's feet. You see, we cannot trust anyone. The 'evidence' you have given is poor, and I do wonder at what your true motives are for targeting my family... Oh yeah, and it's Darlene honey. Now, for the important bit, my vote goes to Betty. Vote: Betty (Bob the Construction Man) Family is family, but my sister has a very good case, and after she proved true yesterday, I am inclined to trust her again.
  22. Damn it, we lost another innocent! How could this happen? I'll let Ivan speak for himself first, but yes, he does indeed have an alibi, and that would be me. Anyway, Trekk has just said that Ivan was out of his house those nights. That does not mean he was up to no good. Remember, citizens have night actions as well as Baritones. I hope your not trying to suggest that my dear sisters' husband is a Baritone! I've got my eye on you... I think that was a reference to the fact that he has won the last two Mafia games. Now, on to the serious stuff, I am particularly unhappy today. Why am I unhappy? Because some idiot whacked me on the head last night! I do not like people who walk around whacking people in the dark, it just isn't right.
  23. Ah yes, this was on the morning news a few days ago here in NZ too. The TV presenters thought they were hilarious, and one wanted to know where he could buy them! Very funny indeed, to bad they're not going into production.
  24. Now now, that's not true at all. I love having the box from a collectors point of view. To me, the box completes the set. Without it, the set just isn't complete to me, which is why I always like to get the box if possible. And I'm certainly not going to go sell the set one eBay! No, I just feel that having the box makes the set complete. I guess it's just a collectors thing. Think of Matchbox cars; when they have the box, they are worth at least 10 times the price. It's nice to know that you own the complete set to, and not just the pieces. Anyone can get the pieces together for a set, but having the box is, to me, a necessity if you want to complete the set. It's kind of the same as that discussion about owning MISB sets. Besides, the boxes have some cool stuff to look at on them.
  25. How dare you! I presume you mean me or Ivan. Well it will not happen. I see you have just admitted to being a Baritone, and also admitted to being a liar. You have condemned yourself, Petey, and we will take you down. Nobody gets away with playing my town like a cheap violin. By the way, if dear Florence had not said what she had, then I would have. It is obvious to me, really. Now, let's finish this corrupt politician once and for all! Forward the mob! Kill the bastard!
